Great location and views. Great food quickly cooked and prepared with locally sourced options. Styled to the theme. A lovely place to stop, eat and rest.

The room was fantastic, with more than enough size and amenities for 2 persons. It was tastefully decorated and we felt immediately at home. The location is just outside Sligo, with fantastic views of the sea from the front windows of the restaurant. The staff upon arrival, at dinner and throughout our stay were more than exceptional; they are a credit to the business. The on-site restaurant offers great food, so you have all you need in-house if you arrive and just want to settle in for the evening. I would love to visit again one day.

Bed a little hard. Ridiculous snail dish to serve main course fish dish in, meaning 12 teaspoon mouthfuls. You had to be there!!

Une très belle surprise. Un hôtel de charme, au calme ou plutot une maison. Une chambre joliment décorée avec une jolie vue mer. Un accueil agréable et une bonne table. Nous avions réservé une table vue mer et nous avons passé une très bonne soirée.

Nous avions la chambre 4 qui se trouve au dessus du couloir de l'entrée et chaque fois qu'un client rentre ou sort du pub/restaurant la porte claque.

Such a great place to stay and dine! The staff were so friendly and helpful We were delighted with our bedroom which was so cute and great value. Nice touches in the bedroom and en-suite with a very comfortable bed We ate in the restaurant- excellent! I would have no hesitation in recommending The Driftwood

The Driftwood is one of the nicest places I've stayed The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Staff were extremely helpful going out of their way to help. I would highly recommend a stay .

Excellent rooms, all freshly decorated to a contemporary design. Great food in the restaurant, and the decor on the back with green velvet banquettes is especially nice.

Rooms are quite expensive so not to include breakfast felt a bit unreasonable.

The wine they have is great - especially the Pet Nat - the service is outstanding - they could always keep reviewing the food offering

Absolutely amazing, the decoration the style, the quality, the views, the restaurant was brilliant. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I really haven't got anything to fault it. I will definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Dinner was lovely! Probably the best we had in Ireland. The staff very welcoming. Lovely furniture and decorations.

Guter, schöner und moderner Styl, Parkplatz gratis, breites und bequemes Bett, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine mit Teekocher im Zimmer, Fenster konnte ganz geöffnet werden zum Lüften, Personal sehr freundlich, gutes Angebot an Speisen, Frühstück mit div.a la Carte Menus erhältlich.

Kein Duschvorhang bei dieser Duschkonstruktion. Warm- / Kaltwasser kann nicht eingestellt werden ohne dass man schon unter der Dusche steht. Dieser negative Punkt kann ohne grosse Kosten behoben, korrigiert werden.

Besonders schön war die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sowohl im Restaurant als auch im Zimmer ist alles mit Liebe zum Detail sehr stimmig gestaltet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut und der Service war bestens organisiert. Auch das Frühstücksangebot war sehr ansprechend. Die Lage ist top für vielfältige Unternehmungen.

Room smelt abit musty, pillows on bed weren’t great, On our last evening the staff rushed to close up downstairs, no warning and no last call, even though we were residents, then later came down to get something from the car and they were still about watching the World Cup. Coffee from machine in room tasted odd.

From the moment we checked in, our stay was so lovely. We were delighted that we had been upgraded to a beautiful sea-view room, which made our visit even more special. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner in the restaurant, where the stunning views and relaxed atmosphere created a truly memorable dining experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, adding a personal touch that made all the difference. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment - we will be back!

Faultless.

This place has been beautifully attended to, with quirky and considerate design. Beds super comfy, good showers (if a bit confusing!), great views, great food, lovely smells and sounds and textures. Beach around the corner and conscience store and ice cream down the street. Staff were all friendly.

Wifi was terrible! Dinner on the first night was tasty but they were very busy so needed more staff in, it was quite slow.

So much could have been better. I stayed in Room 8, which is set apart up a narrow flight of stairs, almost like an attic room. It was incredibly hot, with no view and a slanting ceiling, which made the space feel uncomfortable. The bathroom was strangely designed, with the shower controls positioned behind the sliding door. This made it difficult to use the shower without first being hit by an unregulated spray of water. There was no handheld shower attachment, only a fixed overhead shower and no shower caps were provided. In my view, this room should not have been released for use during warm weather.

Fabulous location.

We had an extremely relaxing stay in a large comfortable room with a touch of quirkiness and a lovely view over the water. Parking was easy and close (although parking right out the front of the hotel generally wasn't possible). A nice, short coastal walk starts directly outside the hotel.

You had to pay extra for breakfast (in the hotel restaurant) and the quality was inconsistent. As stated in relation to what we liked, the location was great for relaxation. However, most "tourist attractions" are outside Rosses Point itself and dining options in Rosses Point are limited, so, while it is a good base, you need to have a car. We found that parking in Sligo Town itself when we drove in was a bit of a nightmare.

Love the interior design. It's relaxed and homely but with hotel professionalism.

It's so hard to book because it's always booked out! If they expanded though it wouldn't have the same relaxed feel. 😊

The attitude of the girl that checked us in and served us breakfast while we were there was not a pleasant person. She was sharp and snappy. A shame as everything else was amazing.

The Driftwood is a fantastic little hotel. Very clean and comfortable with beautiful sea views . Food is very good in the restaurant , which is open to hotel residents and the public. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
