Very fresh breakfast, staff were friendly and great. Just few minutes walk to the bus and train station.

Excellent location away from Hallstatt

Room is new, well equipped and spacious. With very beautiful mountain View. Staffs are very nice. If the room door can be improved to close softer, it will be perfect.

It was a great location, our room was spacious and clean with a king-size bed and the view from the window was gorgeous. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The breakfast and the coffee were excellent. Our only negative was that there's no lift.

The room was spacious and clean, the balcony provided a commanding view of the mountains, and the staff was incredibly helpful and delightful.

I was horrified at the condition . I had already paid but left anyway to find another room. I did find another room nearby thank goodness but was prepared to sleep in my car instead of the dirty hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE

Our stay in Obertraunerhof was great! The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and helpful and was always working to make sure guests were satisfied! The rooms were also spacious and it was not far from the train station!

Very quiet location. It’s about an hour to walk to Hallstatt but the scenery along the way to Hallstatt is gorgeous. Good breakfast! The only complaint as an Asian is that we could not find hot water to make tea the first night and breakfast did not start until 8am. As an early bird Asian, it’s inconvenient but they put the kettle at common areas on the 2nd night. :)

very bad hotel

The room was enormous, but not very clean and so dimly lit that I had trouble reading. Desk clerk showed up at 2 PM to check me in, then disappeared until the following morning. Stairs had worn, ripped carpet. Obertraun is not a good place to stay if your goal is Hallstatt as the first boat to Hallstatt is around 11 AM and the last boat about 4 PM. It's a 5 km walk from Hallstatt to Obertraun. Sidewalks rolled up at 6 PM in Obertraun, so there is nowhere to eat dinner.

Замечательное место для неторопливого отдыха, уютный просторный номер, прекрасный вид из окна на горы. Завтрак скромный, соответствует количеству звезд отеля.

Nice price and okay breakfast. Clean and very big. Parking is limited but okay. Beautiful place to stay close to views and lovely town. Sound proof is just okay, but acceptable.

旁邊有超市，酒店有3層高，我們被安排到3樓，沒有升降梯，2個女生把行李搬到3樓很吃力，房間很大有露台，當我們要checkout時，有個前堂兼打掃房間的男職員幫我們搬行李到底層，非常感謝。 我們住了2間酒店都是沒有升降梯的，找其他酒店也發現大多數都沒有的。

S pobytem jsme byli spokojeni, pokoj prostorný,krasny výhled na hory, snídaně jednodušší, ale naprosto dostačující. Celkove pobyt hodnotim kladne.

Sommer 2019. God beliggenhed i forhold til Hallstatt, vi cyklede derhen fra hotellet (små 5 km), da vi selv havde cykler med, og det er en fordel i forhold til parkeringsvanskeligheder ved Hallstatt, som er bilfri by. Hotellet er meget nedslidt og trist interiør. Senge og sengetøj ok, men vi manglede hovedpudebetræk og håndklæder, da vi havde fået værelset. Ingen sengelamper virkede. Stikkontakter hærget, åbne ind til ledninger, vi turde ikke bruge dem. Bruseren kunne ikke blive hængende øverst, gled konsekvent ned af stangen. Morgenmadsbuffet udvalg og kvalitet ok, men bordet og duge på buffetbordet trængte til udskiftning/rengøring. Et kig ud i køkkenet fra spisestuen kunne godt give lidt tvivl om hygiejnen, det flød med vasketøj på gulvet og så rodet ud. Hotellet lukrerer vist på sin beliggenhed tæt på Hallstatt og Five Fingers, men prisen burde være væsentlig lavere i forhold til kvaliteten af den oplevede service og husets tilstand. Det var ok for os at bo der én overnatning, fordi vi skulle videre, men vi ville ikke vælge det til et længere ophold. Hotellet er måske bedre i vintersæsonen (?)

The property was older, but room and bathroom had been recently updated, and bathroom was very clean. Access to Hallstatt was easy, and cable car to 5 Fingers Overlook and Ice Cave was a 5 minute drive. Breakfast was good.

土日の宿泊でハルシュタットの宿に空きがなかったため、湖の対岸のオーバートラウンに宿をとりました。結果的に、ハルシュタットにもダッハシュタインの登山口に行くにも交通の便が良く、この場所にしたのは正解でした。ただし宿は、場所柄がいいだけに、あの内容にしてはかなり強気な料金設定という気がしました。ホテルスタッフは、決して感じが悪いわけではないのですが、「宿のルール」として部屋の中で湯沸かしはじめ電気器具を一切使うなとか、タオル交換は3日に1回（それ以外の交換は別料金）とか、部屋の掃除も別料金などと細かい決まりがたくさんあり、なんとなく「せこい」感じがしました。朝食のハムも、昔のプレスハムみたいなのが1種類あるだけで、ちょっとがっかりしました。なお、近くにスーパーがあるのですが、品ぞろえは驚くほど少なく、また周辺にレストラン等は全くないため、車がない場合は、夕食は用意していった方がよいでしょう。

We were the only customers at the time of our stay. The young manager upgraded our room to a room on the third floor with an amazing view. There is no lift so he offered to carry my luggage to the room. He also prepared breakfast for us (two) but more than enough for ten person.The locate is a close to the train station. A good restaurant and a grocery store is near by. Everything was perfect except the weather.

im ganzen Haus gibt es kein Fersehgerät, Steckdosen sind Mangelware, die im Bad funktionierte nicht. Zum Frühstück gab es eine Wurst-und eine Käsesorte, täglöich die gleiche, der kaffee ist miserabel.

這間民宿不能刷卡付房費，在訂房時飯店未註明、Hotels.com也沒提示，以致於與我預期不同，造成我在入住時只能付現金，嚴重影響我的行程安排

Buen hotel, solo falta información para los turistas de los horarios de buses o taxi ya que no encontramos gente a quien preguntar. Limpio, muy buena calefacción y buena vista a la montaña....

Basic place clean safe. A bit dated

Do not stay at this property. 3 stars is at least one too many. Checked in during check-in time (4 pm), but no one was there to greet us. The lobby was dark, dimly lit, and front door does not appear to lock and left open at all hours. There was a key left with a piece of paper for our name. We had to climb a number of flights for our room, and on that floor was a corner of children's toys that was left out and very messy... almost in the way of the door to the room. We found a number to call for an extra towel but the staff was not friendly and took some time to bring it. When we turned the lights on, a fuse popped and all the lights went out so we had to wait a while for that to come back on. That evening, several doorbell sounds went off at various times throughout the middle of the night (2-3 am) and we could not sleep. Though we paid for two nights, we left after only one because it was so uncomfortable.

해가 진 저녁에 찾아가기 힘들었지만 낮에 보니 역에서 많이 멀지 않고 바로 맞은편에 슈퍼가 있어서 편했습니다. 엘리베이터가 없어서 짐 들고 다니는 건 불편했구요. 방음도 잘 안되었습니다. 대신 창밖 풍경은 너무 좋았구요. 조식 메뉴도 다양하지 않았지만 나쁘지 않았습니다. 숙박객이 많지 않아 조용했던 것은 좋았습니다. 슬리퍼는 준비되어있지 않구요. 욕실에 드라이기 비치되어있었습니다. 비누 준비되어있었고 바디워시 및 샴푸 겸용 물비누 비치되어있었습니다. 온수와 라디에이터가 작동하지 않아 호스트에게 컴플레인시 바로 답장 왔구요 바로 바로 수정해주셨습니다. 이 부분은 너무 감사했습니다. 전반적으로 가격대비 좋았고 호스트 인상도 좋았습니다.

Close to train station and easy to reach Hallstatt by bus. Please take note the supermarket business hour and only few restaurant open in the evening. In ffact

It's a quiet and nice place in Obertraun. We can have fresh air and nice view once open the window. The staffs are nice and helpful. It's a really good place to stay.

I love Obertraun town the most in my recent trip to Austria. Oh need to pay cash here. Beautiful and peaceful indeed. Obertraunerhof offered great breakfast, a bit long walk but if you're looking for a walking trip, it is recommended. If you want to visit Hallstatt, or if you don't want to stay in crowed place, it is recommended. You could take a boat of 10-12 EUR (depends) for round trip that you can select your own pick up time. Very cool, right? The view is awesome. Or you want to visit Hallstatt, alternative solutions are stay in Graz (hotel price is extremely cheaper) and take a train to Obertraun in the early morning, walk around the town for 1-2 hours, then take train or bus back to Hallstatt, then taking a ferry, multiple choices with better spend. For Obertran, I didn't finish the hiking to one mountain, I could not remember the name but next time when I got back there, surely I will do it. I hope the price will go lower. It is a bit expensive but because Obertrauner is closed to Hallstatt, can't complain much, love it there ^^

할슈타트의 대안지역으로 갔고. 렌트를 하여 이동상 불편함은 없었고 주차장이 있음 리프트가 없어서 계단으로 캐리어를 들어올려야 함. 방에 냉장고는 없으나 층마다 공용냉장고가 있음 조식은 나쁘지 않음. 바로 앞에 슈퍼 있으나 일찍 닫음 주변 식당은 별로 없음

Located close to Hallstatt and supermarkets. It includes parking and breakfast which was good for me. Reception desk opens only for a few hours a day, so it was almost self check-in, but it was okay for me.

Muy caro en comparación calidad precio. Camas, aseos pequeños. Habitación pequeña, un solo enchufe para la habitación, muy sucio habitación y cuarto de baño. Mobiliario antiguos y deteriorado, luz muy tenue, no se veía. Muy descontento y disgustado con el alojamiento.

Wifi needs improvement.. however the staff are great, overall great value!

Zimmer alt, Matratze passt nicht in Bettgestell, überall Schimmel, Abfluss verstopft und nie Reinigung. Frühstück ok.

Das Hotel liegt im Ortskern des Ortes. In einer Viertelstunde läuft man zur Bootsanlegestelle und fährt mit einer Zille gemütlich und lautlos über den See nach Hallstatt. Ich glaube, in einem österreichischen Hotel sollte man zumindest deutsch sprechen. Das ungarische Paar, das hier für den Service abgestellt ist, spricht kein deutsch und nur leidlich englisch. Zu dem recht hohen Preis pro Übernachtung dürfte man etwas mehr Service verlangen. Es scheint, als gehöre das Hotel zu einer Reihe privater Hotels, deren Eigner billigstes Personal einstellt.

Nous avons passé 16 jours en Autriche et avons séjourné dans 8 hôtels. Tous étaient propres et le personnel accueillant SAUF l’ hôtel Obertraunof. Dès la réception, ils nous demande de payer uniquement en cash sans un sourire!!! C’est parti pour 3 étages sans ascenseur avec une odeur d’urine dans le hall. Nous rentrons dans notre chambre avec toujours cette odeur qui ne nous quittera pas pendant les 2 jours !!! Cuvette du WC sale heureusement il y a une supérette en face ou je me suis empressée d’acheter du produit WC pour le nettoyer. Le lendemain nous nous sommes absentés toute la journée et à notre retour ni la chambre ni la salle de bain n’abaient été faites. Pour le petit déjeuner le jus d’orange avait le goût de concombre. Les aliments ne sont donc pas bouchés dans le réfrigérateur. Pour notre départ personne dans la salle et à la réception. Très déçu!!!!!!

Sehr unfreundliches Personal. Zimmer sind spärlich eingerichtet, putzkraft bzw Zimmer servise gibt es anscheinend nicht!! Werden diese Anlage sicher nicht mehr buchen und es auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wird von Ausländern betrieben was im Prinzip nichts schlechtes ist, aber gebrochenes Deutsch sowie unfreundlich. Frühstück dürftig, billige Ware vom Diskonter einzig der Kaffee vom Automaten ist halbwegs ertragbar, Fazit: Preis —Leistung passt nicht

飯店主人在每個樓層都有佈置一個小客廳 ，有提供熱水壺和茶包及公用冰箱給房客使用，小缺點是沒有電梯，若住在4樓的閣樓的話 ，要盡量精簡行李 。有免費供應不錯吃的早餐 ，走路約5分鐘就可到公車站 ，火車站離公車站約走路1分鐘 ，交通算便利 。若住三晚的話 ，可拿到湖區卡 ，憑卡可享有湖區景點門票的優惠 。
