Best experience you could have by far for any hotel in El Nido. Amenities, design, food and location is unmatched, The staff here are very accomodating and made our experience amazing regardless of the bad weather. Went out of their way to provide excellent service and work with us on all of our needs.

The location is Nice, it is just near at the beach and Restaurant. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned. And for a PATRICK, he serves us very well and maintain to deliver his task whenever we take our breakfast. And for PIA, she give Quality service and professionalism everytime she spoke to guest, she also politely in conversation making us feel welcome and cared. Kudos to her!!! Came to El Nido for the first time this year with my family. Lagun was the perfect spot to call our home for the week and everything about our stay was perfect! The amenities, the service, and the location made this hotel a top spot. Thank you to all the staff that provided their excellent service -- from cleanliness, to food /drink preparation, and pool aid, we always had a friendly staff member to rely on. It was our greatest pleasure to experience Palawan with Lagun and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much again!

We had an excellent stay at Lagun Hotel! Five stars for the welcoming and accommodating staff, the clean and comfortable rooms, the delicious meals (including the best complimentary breakfasts I’ve had), the pool and bar with a beautiful view, and a convenient location (an easy walk or tricycle ride to El Nido town/beach and across the street from a convenience store)! The staff always made us feel at home; they were so friendly, responsive, and made our first stay in the Philippines so enjoyable!

The hotel is conveniently near the coach transport and boat tours of the islands. Staff were fantastic with us, friendly and welcoming from start to finish.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to! Such a beautiful hotel with very nice and attentive employees that made me feel valued as a customer. The room is amazing, I love the sea themed room and it's a very clean, quiet, and spacious room. The food in the restaurant is also very delicious with amazing service. We stayed from 16-20 June 2026 and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. My room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, making it easy to the beach access, shops and restaurants. The food at the reataurant were sooooo goooood and delicious...the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and welcoming. Flexibilita a ochota personálu, ktorý dokázal každý nedostatok rýchlo vyriešiť, room service, bazén, poloha a dobré pestré raňajky.

Izba, ktorú sme si pôvodne zarezervovali nám bola hneď na začiatku predstavená ako nie dobrá. Čo bola pravda, bolo v nej cítiť vlhkosť od múru zvonku a bola tmavá a hlučná. Vyriešili sme to ponúknutým upgradom,ktorý sme si doplatili za izbu s balkónom.

Kedves személyzet, jó elhelyezkedés, tágas, tiszta szobák. Kirándulásban és transzferben is nagyon segítőkészek voltak, köszönjük!

Kissé zajos, mivel az út mellett helyezkedik el, de csukott ablaknál lehet pihenni.

Very disappointed with our experience. Although we had a pleasant stay, we were charged a deposit fee of 5,000 pesos (€70) on arrival which we paid by Visa card. When checking out, we were informed that the machine wasn’t working so the deposit could not be refunded but it would be in the next few days. This never happened. We have contacted the hotel multiple times to try to resolve this and have still not received the reimbursement. Our stay was over 2 weeks ago now. This is simply unacceptable and we are very disappointed.

Amazing stay I honestly wish this had been our accommodation for the entire trip. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, clean, and felt extremely safe from the moment we arrived. Having great restaurants right outside the front door was so convenient, and the beach plus pool access made it even better. Everything you could want in one place. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

This hotel is a complete nightmare! We had a terrible experience there and will never stay there again. The hotel itself is in a terrible state compared to 5 years ago. First of all, they robbed us of a night’s stay for a two-room reservation. When we call to complain, they tell us to wait for a supervisor and to call back later. We call back, but there is never a supervisor in sight. We called ahead to let them know our flight would be arriving a day later. They said that if they could book our room for that night, we wouldn’t have to pay. We arrived early in the morning, and they said they had booked our room. So, we spent the entire morning waiting in the lobby, exhausted but were ok since we weren't paying for the night. When checking out, they gave us the checkout receipt that I requested, which showed the nights we had stayed there for proof. It’s been an exhausting four months trying to get our money back from this hotel. They’re total liars!

Had to cancel one night of our original booking and rebook a single night a few days later to go on a boat tour. Hotel wouldn't credit the unused night and charged a very high rate for the additional single night.

Location was ideal for El Nido, hotel is lovely and lean throughout, pool area is nice and balcony area at bar.

We mistakenly booked an accessible room and this meant the entry to our room was in the hotel lobby which we did not like. We did ask to change rooms but were told none were available. A balcony would have been nice.

A wonderful stay, the hotel is just a short walk into town. Supermarket, tuk tuks and more just down the road. The room was spacious and clean with daily fresh water delivered to the rooms. The friendly staff were so helpful with tours, transport and their time. The rooftop pool was perfect for relaxing during the day.

The rooms smelt like mould, showers had black mould in them and I actually couldnt relax in the room. This spoiled my time for what could have been a great stay

Location was great as its close to town and laundry facilities and shops. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff very friendly and helpful after we said we needed to be relocated to another room away from the utility room. Views from the top of the hotel was lovely. WIFI was strong in our room, but patchy in our other friends' room. Breakfast selection was good and the restaurant offered some delicious meals.

They put me in room 507 which was right next to the utility room with a noisy pool pump which gets switched on early in the morning until 10pm at night. The noise from the pump, the bathroom vent, the aircon and the air purifier was too noisy to sleep. Our room also smelled mouldy and the bathroom partitions had a gap where you could see inside - so not good for sharing rooms with friends who value privacy. Our TV wasn't mounted properly on the wall and had to call maintenance, it turns out the last guest stole the media box from the back of the TV.

Wifi is horrible, staff gave us false information and did not inform us us that if we were to cancel tour there would be a fee. We were told that it’s not their fault and we have to pay it even though it is their fault. No communication between night and day staff, so they couldn’t even help us book a van transfer to the airport. The room was very dirty and the shower is disgusting

La pieza estaba al lado de recepcion (literal al frente). Obviamente eso conlleva mucho flujo de personas. Ademas no se puede fumar en la terraza (que es un espacio totalmente abierto).

When we got to our room there was an air purifier in the room and the room smelled like something was dead. We asked for a change of room and were told that the manager would have to approve a room change. We asked about the air purifier and were told it was for the “humidity” We were told that they would work on a solution with the manager In the morning. There were about 10 of staying at the hotel , ( couples and none of them had a purifier in their room. We were later told that the previous guest got drunk, and vomited all over the room and the air purifier was put in the room to get rid of the smell. So they basically knew the room smelled and put us in the room knowing it smelled like a decomposed body.. we were at the end room and I’m sure some animal died in the walls.. we had food delivered to our room and the person who delivered the food confirmed the smell of decomposition and said she was going to let the front desk know.. in addition, my husband was sick so he had dinner in the room. Breakfast was included in the stay. When I asked for something to cover my husbands food, I was told that I couldn’t bring breakfast to the room.. I said when I paid for it, it was ok but I can’t bring breakfast back to him because he was sick? I covered it with a napkin and brought it up anyway. We stayed 3 nights. On the last night I asked why no one ever reached out with a solution to the smell In the room I was told that I had a do not disturb sign on the door. My husband was sick in the room and I don’t most of the following day after check in walking by the front desk about a dozen times and the Manager never reached out to me.. I left my phone number with the manager and she emailed me to say she couldn’t get through??? Sorry to make a short story long but bad customer service They want a deposit for an additional room key in addition to the 5000 peso incidental charge. Look for another place to stay and don’t let the photos fool you!!!!

צוות המלון מקסים קבלת הפנים ממש נעימה וכיפית , ארוחת הבוקר חביבה ולא יותר,הבריכה על הגג יפה אך עם רוח קרה. המיקום טןב,קרוב למרכז בהליכה אך על הכביש הראשי חדר מזעזע עם ריהוט ישן, ריח רעעעעע שירותים ומקלחת כמו במלתחה ציבורית והכי גרוע שהחדר האחרון שקיבלנו במסדרון רועש , יש בחוץ רעש רועם של משאבות ושל מזגנים באופן בלתי סביר.חבל כי המלון נראה מאד יפה בכניסה ובלובי והצוות ממש אדיב ומסייע אך לא הסכימו להעביר אותנו

Da man das Leitungswasser auf Palawan nicht trinken kann und damit das Geschirr etc. gewaschen wird hatten fast alle in meiner Familie einen schweren Brechdurchfall - aber das liegt nicht am Hotel sondern an Palawan ganz allgemein, nehme ich an.

The location

Our room (203)which we upgraded facing the cliff face with a tiny balcony (usable) but the constant traffic noise starting around 5.30am Along with the roosters and barking dogs was a nuisance . Breakfast very average. First time I’ve experienced rubber eggs either omelette style or sunny side up. I Think the problem is the lack of heat. Pool area very pretty and appealing but 5 lounges directly in the sun , two table n chairs and that’s it.

El personal. Sin duda es lo mejor del hotel. Son todos encantadores, muy amables y serviciales, siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. La habitación es espaciosa, y las camas son cómodas. El hotel cuenta con piscina y zona donde relajarte, bar y restaurante. La ubicación es ideal, buen acceso a Coron Coron y al Nido. Con zona para aparcar la moto alquilada.

El hotel adolece un gran problema de humedades entiendo que es Filipinas y que la humedad en el ambiente es muy alta, pero el ascensor y las habitaciones apestan a humedad. Las habitaciones que no tienen balcón no tienen lugar para tender la ropa bien, por lo que se queda húmeda. Ademas las habitaciones son MUY ruidosas. Se escucha el motor de algún aparato durante toda la noche, lo cual se hace molesto. El desayuno empieza a las 07:00. No están actualizados respecto a los horarios de los tours, ya que los privados suelen empezar antes de las 07:00. Cuando se lo dijimos a un trabajador del catering que si nos podía dar algo del buffet para llevarnos a la excursión, pero si respuesta fue que no... Ni si quiera unos míseros panes... He de decir que el día del check out, que lo hicimos antes de las 07:00 recepción si que nos ofreció prepararnos unos cafés y unos panes antes de que nos recogiera el Transfer.

Trop de bruit (les coqs! Ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel, juste une question d'emplacement). Les odeurs d'égouts dans la salle de bains.

La chambre était passablement spacieuse avec deux mattelas posé à terre sur la mezzanine pour les enfants (mais escaliers très raides).

Odeurs nauséabondes dans la salle de bain et télévision qui ne fonctionne pas (malgré l’intervention de l’équipe de l’hôtel). Aucun espace extérieur pour faire sécher les maillots de bain.

The online communication, We contacted the hotel through booking.com and they promised us a shuttle service, however when we got to the airport arrivals they shuttle wasn't there. we had to wait 1hr for the shuttle service because we had to contact them. we tried calling the hotel multiple times, and there was no answer for a while until they finally picked up and told us that there was no shuttle service on its way to pick us up, but they could send one at the time of the call. we ended up waiting for that 1 hr just waiting for someone to pick us up.

Nos dieron una habitación que estaba literalmente a 3 metros de recepción ( se escuchaba todo ) La habitación huela a MOHO , muy malo para la salud La ventana de la habitación , si abres la cortina da a una pared y el suelo está sucio ! El primer día no nos limpiaron la habitación y tuve que ir a decir que la limpiaran , los días siguientes vinieron a (limpiarla) hacer la cama y limpiar un poco por encima el baño El desayuno es horrible , el zumo imbebible , el café aguado y malo , las mermeladas puro sirope , estaba todo malísimo , la comida filipina no la puedo valorar porque no voy a comer a las 7 de la mañana arroz con pollo o fideos . Es un hotel muy caro para filipinas para la calidad mediocre que ofrecen .

Couloir ouvert sur l'extérieur sans climatisation tout comme l'ascenseur. Nous avons pris des crêpes au bar de la piscine: 28 euros les 5 crêpes 30mn pour être servis froides...plus chers qu'en France. Du coup on a même pas essayé le restaurant. Pour info. 11 euros les 5 crêpes en ville. Un rafraîchissement du bâtiment serait à prevoir. Bouteille de Gel douche signalé cassé, pas remplacé. Franchement 1100 euros 2 chambres pour 5 nuits ca ne les vaut pas. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet un peu limité dans le choix, café sans saveur, transparent. Navette aéroport payante. Pour le standing de l'hôtel c'est un peu limite. 19 euro les 7 km. A Coron navette gratuite pour 18 km. (Fernvale leisure club and resort)

Toisen sängyn lakanat olivat likaiset ja siivous olisi voinut olla tehokkaampaa. Huoneemme takana asui pakallisia, joilla oli kaksi kukkoa. Heräsimme siis joka yö kukon lauluun. Majoituksen hintaan nähden aamiainen oli kehno.

After booking with Lagũn Hotel, I contacted the property directly to arrange an airport pickup. I was offered two options: a shared van or a private van at a higher cost. I chose the private pickup specifically to avoid waiting for other guests upon arrival. At the airport, I was instructed to wait at the loading and unloading area and look for a van with the hotel’s name, which I quickly spotted. However, there was already a family waiting for the same hotel pickup, and I initially assumed a second van would arrive. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When the driver arrived, he confirmed both my name and the other family’s names and informed us that this single van would be transporting everyone. I explained that I had paid for a private transfer, to which the driver replied that there was only one van available and that I could wait for him to return after dropping off the other guests. Not wanting to waste time at the start of my vacation, I reluctantly shared the ride. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that my room was not yet ready. While I understood this as I arrived before the standard check-in time, I did raise the airport pickup issue with the front desk. The staff member apologized and said she would discuss it with her manager and get back to me. My room was eventually ready at around 3:30 PM—well past the 2:00 PM check-in time. I dropped my bags and immediately left for a late lunch without inspecting the room, which I acknowledge was my oversight. Later that evening, I noticed that the bed sheets were not clean, with visible hair and stains. I called housekeeping and requested a simple sheet change. After waiting nearly 45 minutes with no response, I had to follow up before the sheets were finally replaced. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. After the sheet change, I noticed that the shower area was also quite dirty, but by that point I was too exhausted to request further assistance. The next morning, I discovered stains on unused bath towels as well, which further raised concerns about overall housekeeping standards. That said, the hotel does have notable strengths. The location is excellent—within walking distance of the main town, yet far enough to avoid nightlife noise. The limestone views are impressive, and the rooftop pool is a pleasant feature. Breakfast, however, was underwhelming and did not stand out. In the end, what made the experience particularly disappointing was the resolution to the airport pickup issue. The only adjustment offered was a refund of the price difference between a shared and private transfer, which did not fully address the inconvenience or miscommunication. Bottom line: Lagũn Hotel has strong location advantages and appealing views, but inconsistencies in service execution, cleanliness, and issue resolution significantly impacted the overall experience. For the price point, expectations around service reliability and room standards were not met.

HORROR!!! MEIDEN!!!!

HORROR!!! Schlechteste Hotel in welchem ich je für diesen Preis übernachtet habe. Ich würde jedem empfehlen dieses Hotel zu vermeiden. Es war auf unserer Reise das teuerste Hotel (140,00 € die Nacht) Zimmer sehen toll aus, jedoch riechen alle nach Schimmel und Moder. Haben 2 mal das Zimmer gewechselt. Hat sich nichts gebessert. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer 1 Doppel und ein Einzelzimmer. Alle die reinste Katastrophe. Da ich ein Reisunternehmen habe, und sehr viel in Asien unterwegs bin kann ich sagen- ich habe für diesen Preis noch nie schlechter übernachtet. es ist teilweise Gesundheitsschädlich. Ich habe auch mit weiteren Gästen in diesem Hotel gesprochen- die Gäste die dort in diesem Hotel die Hochzeitsreise hatten- taten mir extrem leid. Von vielen Gästen habe ich erfahren, das alle Zimmer nach Schimmel riechen. Wir waren Gott sei Dank nur 3 Nächte dort. Leider war zu diesem Zeitpunkt (Weihnachten) und keine geeigneten Hotels mehr frei in El Nido- gerne wäre ich sofort abgereist. Wir waren quasi in der Schimmelburg gefangen. Die Damen an der Rezeption konnten uns keine weiteren Zimmer oder Optionales Hotel anbieten. Nach mehrmaligen Fragen, den Manager zu sprechen- wurde mitgeteilt, dieser sei nicht verfügbar. Ich werde mich auch an Booking wenden, da dieses Hotel eine Zumutung für jede Gesundheit ist. Der Höhepunkt des ganzen war eine Feier am 22.12 von den Hotelangestellten. ich habe nichts gegen feiern, aber nachts um halb 2 Stühle und Tische rumrücken (tragen oder heben geht wohl nicht??!!) ... dass mich und meinen Mann aus dem Schlaf gerissen hat. Ich habe mich mehrmals bei den Damen an der Rezeption beschwert... leider kam immer nur ein Achselzucken. Von daher... falls ihr einen schönen Urlaub haben möchtet-- sucht euch ein anderes Hotel!!!!

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The room smelled very bad, and the odor was constant throughout the stay. There were problems every single day, not just once. The bed was uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Housekeeping was poor — towels were not changed, and the bathroom often had a bad toilet smell. The internet was very slow and unreliable. Breakfast quality was very bad, with limited and low-quality food. On one occasion, the hot water did not work for the shower. While staff were fixing the issue, the water came out dirty. The hotel did not give any notice or warning about the maintenance; we only found out after the problem occurred. The issues were consistent every day, and there was no manager available to escalate or resolve the problems. Overall, this hotel offers very bad value for the price. I would not recommend staying here.

This place markets itself as a hotel, but that description is generous at best. From the moment we checked in, it was clear we had made a mistake. The toilet in our already rundown room was malfunctioning on arrival, and there was no hot water. By the next morning, the toilet had completely failed and was actively flooding the room. We informed the staff as we left for a full day of island hopping, assuming—naively—that this would be addressed. After all, fixing a flooded bathroom in a guest room seems like the bare minimum. When we returned that evening, exhausted and desperate for a shower, we were stunned to discover that absolutely nothing had been done. No repair. No alternative solution. No communication. Back at reception, we were greeted with the now-familiar smiling apology: “Sorry, maintenance saw it and there is nothing they can do.” I asked to speak with the manager. “Sorry, she is out of the country.” I asked who was in charge. “Sorry, it’s impossible, she is not around.” Every “sorry” was delivered with a smile and breathtaking incompetence, as if politeness could substitute for basic hospitality. When I requested a room change, I was told—again—“sorry, no other rooms are available.” It was only after I raised my voice that they suddenly managed to contact the person supposedly in charge. She repeated that nothing could be done, until I asked whether they genuinely expected us to relieve ourselves on the bed since there was no functioning toilet. Only then did she agree to “ask someone” to see if moving us to another hotel was possible. Three hours later, we were informed that no comparable hotels were available at the price we had booked months earlier—so relocation was impossible. Miraculously, however, another room had suddenly become available. Their solution? Cram an extra bed into that room and allow us to use it alongside the original flooded, foul-smelling one. This so called ‘hotel’ is at most an elevated hostel.

Worst location ever On a noisy street Has nothing to do with a 4 star hotel breakfast is so so , if you like noodles and pork for brekafast There is a coffee machine in some rooms but you have to ask for capsules

Hotel hat super Lage ca 7 min bis zum Strand wo die meisten Restaurants und Bars sind und trozdem aber sehr ruhig. Zimmer sind sehr schön, gross und sauber. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Personal alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch der Rooftoppool ist sehr gepflegt.

Für das was geboten wird eindeutig zu teuer. Frühstück hat nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl nach einer Woche konnte ichs nicht mehr sehen. Ein weiterer minus Punkt ist es gibt fast keine Möglichkeit im Zimmer nasse Sachen (Badehose, Badetuch,..) aufzuhängen.

We stayed at Lagun for a week during our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time there. Breakfast was very good, and we also had dinner at the restaurant one evening, which we really enjoyed. The hotel is in a great location, just a 10–15 minute walk from the main beach for island hopping. Our room was clean and the facilities were nice. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for three days. Took a flight from Manila to Puerto Princessa then a super long van trip (via separate company) to the hotel. We were all exhausted, but the staff greeted us with warmth and hospitality. The town is just about 5-10 min walk and there are tricycles also available nearby. We booked the island hopping tour with them as well! Will definitely miss the beautiful atmosphere given by the staff here in the hotel and can’t wait to return again. Thank you Lagún Hotel!

From the moment I walked in I was in awe. I was greeted with a complimentary drink and Mae at the front desk was incredibly welcoming❤️ When I got to my room, I had questions about safe and television remote. She was there in minutes to explain everything. She was wonderful… Then up to the pool bar and restaurant where Romel poured me a drink and ordered me lunch at the spectacular roof top pool. At Dinner Villa explained the menu and suggested an amazing meal. I have been hotel hopping for 5 weeks and hand down the BEST hotel in El Nido. Thank you Mae and to the entire staff for making my stay unforgettable. I will be back soon🙏🏽❤️

La falta de empatía del personal ya que nos dieron una habitación justo al lado del hall y nos dijeron que para cambiar habia que pagar un suplemento

The pool is clean. Food is great but a bit expensive. Services are excellent. Our room have a nice view, aircon is cold and very nice.

We request our room to be cleaned everyday, but bed sheets are not changed same with towels. Wifi is bad in our room area.
