Most amazing friendly & helpful staff, place was easy to find & the perfect stay. Would definitely stay there again.

It located in a beautiful and quiet area, away from the hectic tourist attraction, but 5 minutes walk to important sightseeings/ buses/ subway to the airport. Hosts were really friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room window, although small, had a beautiful view to the harbor.

After checking into our room, we already noticed it was quite dusty—we couldn’t even place a book on the nightstand without it getting dirty. We chose not to complain at the time, as we didn’t want to make a fuss, we were focused on our upcoming coastal cruise. Little did we know, the lack of cleanliness was much more sinister. Shortly after leaving the hotel to board our cruise, I broke out in severe, agonizingly itchy bites. The hotel subsequently contacted us to state they had discovered a BEDBUG INFESTATION in our room during post-checkout cleaning. This timeline confirms the room was not properly cleaned or inspected prior to our arrival; we were checked into an actively infested room. When we contacted them demanding a refund, management initially refused. Meanwhile, my wife’s physical condition deteriorated into a medical crisis. The bites grew progressively worse as our cruise sailed north. Instead of enjoying our trip, we spent our honeymoon visiting doctors and pharmacies from port to port. Near Nordkapp, I had to go to emergency medical services because the bites had mutated into massive, growing, pus-filled blisters. I was prescribed strong antibiotics to fight off a severe infection. Because of these gruesome, painful injuries, we couldn't use the cruise facilities we paid for, like the pools, baths, or saunas. At times the agony was so intense, I was screaming under ice-cold showers just to find temporary relief. Our entire honeymoon was turned into an expensive, painful nightmare. Following this trauma, Klosterhagen Hotell REFUSED TO REIMBURSE US for my wife's medical bills or the specialized container-freezing services required to sanitize our luggage so we wouldn't bring bedbugs into our home. They refused any compensation for the terrible experience, the lost value of the cruise, or the honeymoon we can never get back. They only reluctantly agreed to a basic room refund after our initial demand was rejected.

Excellent location next to the city center and Bryggen, absolutely amazing breakfast with all the varieties of fish you can imagine.

The rooms on the second floor have a low ceiling and I bumped my head into it several times.

Sin lugar a dudas, el desayuno es lo mejor del hotel. Para lo sencillo que es, me ha parecido caro, pero en Bergen es difícil encontrar mejor precio. Es tranquilo, y el personal es muy amable

Si viajas con maleta, subir las escaleras empinadas cuesta. Y en la habitación apenas hay sitio para abrirlas, y menos para guardar ropa. Ah, las camas muy blandas y ligeramente inclinadas, por el suelo de la habitación

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

The room was facing the street at ground level meaning you had no privacy unless you closed the window blinds which meant no natural light. The shower was super tiny. There was also unpleasant smell in the room.

Un albergo boutique elegante e piacevole, posizionato in un quartiere incantevole....e vicino al Nordnes Sjøbad (una bellissima scoperta)! Una bella parola per l'aiuto e la simpatia di Anne!

Bel hôtel situé dans un quartier en hauteur de Bergen. Le personnel est sympathique et la chambre confortable. Bon petit déjeuner avec suffisamment de choix

La douche protégée avec une simple vitre amobible a tendance a inonder la salle de bain.

Kleines, aber feines Hotel in sehr guter, aber ruhiger Lage. Fußläufig oberhalb der Altstadt und des Fisketorget. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr sauber, zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Zimmer, Alles bestens.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Posizione centralissima e in un bellissimo quartiere. Struttura semplice ma con fascino. Colazione buona. La camera piccola ma accogliente.

Sink in bathroom was relatively narrow. Other easy to remedy: No body lotion in the bathroom. No door/curtain for the shower. Water would splash the floor outside.

Chambre un peu petite

We loved this historic hotel close to everything Bergen has to offer. The breakfast was fantastic - fresh pastries, hot food, yogurt and great coffee. We especially loved the beetroot “power shot”. The staff was extremely kind and helpful in obtaining a ride to the airport. Highly recommend!

The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast and evening waffles were amazing and delicious and the accommodations clean and comfortable. The location was very quiet and easy to walk into town. We had to leave early for a flight and they packed us a breakfast to go as well.

There are no negatives about this hotel. It is great!

Kleines Hotel mit Charme, liebevoll geführt in einem alten Stadtviertel Bergens. Nettes Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück, moderne Ausstattungin einen sehr alten Haus.

Leider war der Preis für ein Dreibettzimmer mit 343 Euro für eine Nacht im August viel zu teuer. Weng später waren die Preise erheblich günstiger. Ich habe im Hotel nachgefragt, aber noch keine Antwort erhalten. Das Hotel ist absolut nicht barrierefrei. Sowohl am Eingang, als auch im Zimmer waren Stufen, ein Aufzug ist nicht vorhanden.

La proximité du centre ville tout en étant au calme. Le personnel très à l'écoute et poli. Un petit déjeuner top.

Par contre salle de bains avec douche trop proche du lavabo et peu protégée ce qui fait qu’on eclabousse un peu partout. Pas de parking dédié mais grand parking payant pas loin. Attention au stationnement....l’amende à été tres rapide apres peu de temps devant l’hotel 😒

Camere troppo piccole e basse

El desayuno es perfecto para todos los gustos y te permite disfrutar de los sabores típicos de Noruega. El personal es muy amable y detallista. La ubicación del hotel es excelente para ir a todos los lugares más turísticos de Bergen. Además el barrio en el que está es antiguo y tiene carácter.

La habitación no era todo lo cómoda que nos hubiera gustado. Reducida para tres personas, no tiene suficiente espacio para guardar el equipaje. El cuarto de baño carece de suficiente intimidad. El resto bien: buen colchón, cálido y con ventanas encima de la cama.

Hotellet ville vært tjent med at gjestene hadde et sted å sette kopper og fat etter bespisning. Det ville gjort jobben lettere for den ene som var på jobb i resepsjon og frokostsal.

The location was ideal. We liked being in a residential neighborhood away from the crowds. We could walk everywhere and the neighborhood is very pretty. The breakfasts were excellent. The view of the harbor and rooftops from the room’s third floor window was lovely.

The bed was on the soft side. The water goes all over the bathroom floor when using the shower. The room was small but this was the case everywhere we stayed. The hotel serves complimentary waffles upon request from 5-8pm but no one told us when we checked in so we didn’t know about it until we noticed some other guests eating waffles later in our stay.

El desayuno tipo buffet estaba bien y los trabajadores fueron muy amables. Ademas está muy céntrico.

Charmant hôtel dans un quartier tout aussi charmant, à 10 minutes à pied de la gare. Accueil très agréable et délicieux petit déjeûner.
