The property has is a very good value for money one! The host was super helpful and nice, the location is awesome, very close to everything important ( surf, fish point) and if you want you can have a very good valued for money lobster cooked especially for you , in front of you etc…

The rooms are clean but very simple

Mitu der Gastgeber ist ausserordentlich gastfreundlich & war bei Anliegen wie Taxitransfer zuverlässig & schnell zur stelle. Das Zimmer ist bedarfsgerecht & ansehnlich gestaltet. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

Very good value for money and really good location. Air con worked well, everything was really clean. Also the watermelon juices from the restaurant were really good as well as the welcome drink on arrival. Can't find anything to fault it so would recommend.

Perfekte Lage mit Nähe zum Strand sowie in die Innenstadt. Große helle Zimmer mit AC und Ventilator, die Zimmer werden alle paar Tage gereinigt (inkl. Neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher). Chanu und seine Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns wirklich so wohl hier gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Der Ventilator war etwas laut, aber mit Oropax war es kein Problem.

Our room wasn't what we expected, including the 'garden view' mentioned on Booking. The space/garden/tables at the front didn't seemed cared for and were dirty. Overall we wouldn't stay there again (but maybe we were just unlucky with the room).

Wahnsinnig freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Der Besitzer war überaus freundlich und auch hilfsbereit zu uns! Wir hatten ein paar Schwierigkeiten mit einer Surfschule und Verleih und er hat uns sofort geholfen. Zudem zeigte er uns kostenlos mit seinem TukTuk Zimtbäume. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Lage hätte nicht besser sein können! 😊👍🏼

Everything was amazing here - I ended up extending for 2 extra nights. The people here were so lovely, one of the guys even lent me his helmet! The Sri Lankan omelette was incredible :)

Ruhig und nah am Strand gelegen. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, er hat und u.a. ein günstiges TukTuk nach Mirissa organisiert. Es gab auserdem einen Willkommensdrink. Das Zimmer ist groß, sauber und Ablageflächen vorhanden, Balkon war auch top.

Der Wasserdruck könnte etwas mehr sein, das scheint aber im gesamten Ort so zu sein. Gutes WLAN gab es nur unten im Aufenthaltsbereich.

I would give more than 10 points if I could. First of all, the location is perfect, super close to the beach but still quiet due to being surrounded by trees and in a backyard. Chanu welcomed me nicely and gave me a juice until my room was done, as I was early. The room was great, super clean, super well thought through with a good A/C & fan, nice balcony, comfortable bed and clean and well working bathroom. Unfortunately on the day of departure I got really bad symptoms of food poisoning from a street food stall and felt really ill- Chanu managed to switch booking to let me stay in my room and took great care of me, brought me some bits of fruit and rice and made sure I have what I needed, even asked if he should pick up medicine for me. Being a solo traveler and these moments being very lonely and helpless sometimes, he really made me feel cared for. Also the rest of the team was amazingly kindhearted and I was sad having to leave as I had already paid my room in the next place next city.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this place — it really felt like a quiet oasis right in the heart of Weligama. What made my experience unforgettable was the incredible warmth and hospitality of the hosts. I spent a lot of time chatting with Chanu and the team, and they were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere here is relaxed and uncomplicated, and I always felt comfortable and at home — it almost felt like I was staying with friends rather than just at a hotel. The room itself was comfortable, and even though the bathroom fittings are a bit dated and the water pressure isn’t the strongest, these were minor things for me compared to the overall warmth of the experience. I didn’t mind them at all. A huge thank-you to Chanu for the fantastic time in your home — I felt truly cared for and would happily return!

Me lleve una gran sorpresa por el cuarto. Con aire acondicionado, ventilador y agua caliente. Un minuto caminando hacia la playa. El dueño del hotel super amigable. La verdad lo recomiendo sin duda. El hotel es un 10 de 10 😁💕

Por el precio que pagamos absolutamente todo supero mis expectativas. 😀

Room not as advertised

It has a good Location - around the corner from bus station, a block away from train station and beach (but it is not the clean section of the Beach). There are many restaurants close by. The room was ok but nothing special. The bathroom needed some more detail. It was not quite clean (hair of previous guest, Glass Dirty) and needed some repair. There was hot water but with very low pressure. Staff are friendly.

Owner needs to put more detail into maintaining the House. There are several reviews about things broken and they dont seem to fix them. Air con worked but was not powerful enough for a hot evening.

Если хотите тихо - в центре города этого не найти, кровать короче чем обычно - не для высоких как я, слабый сигнал wi-fi в номере.

I enjoyed my short stay here, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect to head to the beach with lots of local restaurants near by. My room was really spacious and quiet at night. I had one of my better nights sleep in this bed too! Really good value for money :)

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and delivered a high level of service. The hotel was clean and fresh, and perfectly located close to everything — restaurants, the beach and the train station. We would happily come back again.

Showers can be better - other than that nothing to complain about.

Had a wonderful stay at 7Elements! The rooms are spacious and clean, with simple, modern decor. The AC works well, as does the ceiling fan, and the shower is nice and hot. The property is just a short walk from the beach and several good restaurants and cafes. The owner Chanu is very friendly and welcoming, as are the other staff. Would recommend!

Amazing place!

Chanu ist ein unglaublich lieber und hervorragend vernetzter Gastgeber. Egal, was wir brauchten - war es die Organisation eines Schnorchel-Trips oder unser Transport zum nächsten Ziel - er kannte jemanden und wir haben alles immer etwas günstiger als ohne ihn bekommen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig sowie geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wer es wünscht, kann in der Unterkunft für einen verhältnismäßig niedrigen Preis eine super frische Languste von nebenan zum Abendessen bestellen. Wir waren während inserts Aufenthaltes in Sri Lanka 3 Nächte dort und haben sogar auf dem Rückweg nochmal dort geschlafen, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Danke für alles!

The staff went out of their way to make sure that the guests feel at home. They helped me book various activities in Weligama, always with a smile, and making sure my needs are answered. They make the guests feel part of the family. It is centrally located next to the main beach road with easy ocean access. It is also in a very close proximity to both the main train and bus stations in Weligama.

Lo staff migliore in Weligama! Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Chanu & Tehan sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili in tutto. Grandi cene di pesce e bevute in loro compagnia! Ci hanno aiutato nell’affittare i motorini, organizzare gite, insomma qualsiasi cosa. Grazie di tutto Chanu & Tehan vi vogliamo bene

Sehr guter Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind alle schön gestaltet. Klima und warmes Wasser (Wasserdruck eher so lala) vorhanden. Unfassbar freundlicher Gastgeber und Personal. Essen ist auch super. Chanu hat mit auch einen Fahrer zu einem fairen Preis organisiert der mit vom Flughafen abgeholt hat und zum Zug hat er mich auch noch gebracht und geschaut, dass ich in den richtigen steige

I stayed in both the family room and a deluxe double. The deluxe double is wonderful! Both rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Staff are incredible; friendly, helpful and the juice and food are amazing. The owner brought me the most amazing local breakfast I’d ever had and made sure I got on the right bus.

The bathroom in the family room smells really bad - not because it’s not clean, I’m not sure why. Both bathroom walls need a really good clean from soap scum - but all areas you touch were nice and clean.

Our host Channu and assistant Tehan were fantastic even hosting a dinner for us on our last evening and providing us a contact for a safari trip to Udawalawe which was amazing. Channu also has tips on surf schools so be sure to check with him in advance before booking a lesson at the beach! Rooms were also clean and cool due to the AC

Great location. Quiet street but ner rhe sea/beach. Enormous and very good breakfast. Good bed/mattress. Super clean. Chanu is great host. Ask Chanu if you can see the lobsters!

Super nice host, makes you feel like family. Location of hotel is perfect, everything is in walking distance. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Appena arrivati il proprietario e lo staff ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte, era come sentirsi a casa. Ci ha permesso di utilizzare la cucina gratis ed inoltre ci ha offerto da bere e la cena quando siamo andati via. Chiamala è veramente speciale e formidabile, ha permesso anche ad una famiglia americana di organizzare halloween co i suoi bambini. La posizione è strategica, a pochi passi dal mare ed a pochi passi dal centro città e dalla stazione dei bus. Noi siamo scesi in costume per fare il bagno a mare e surfare. Inoltre, sotto l’hotel ci sono tantissimi ristoranti e pub. Grazie a 7 elements forever. Tra un mese riandremo nello stesso hotel

The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is chill and friendly. There's a feeling of genuine kindness to the place, like it's a joint home more than a business. The main lobby really motivates guests to talk and know each other and the staff is like the glue that makes that happen. Also there's a kitchen that everyone can use and cook together.

The showerhead in my room was a bit broken and clogged, but I still enjoyed the showers.

If you are in Weligama to surf this is your place!! The place is right where you want to be but still in a quiet and comfortable place. We are a family that came to surf, eat and chill and we got exactly that

Fint hotell nære stranda og vi fikk gratis oppgradering til det fineste rommet siden det var off-season og få gjester på hotellet. Stort rom og egen liten balkong til en god frokost og behagelig utsikt. Lite til ingen innsyn

Perfect location especially for a longer stay, bus station at end of road, good gym nearby, very good coffee shop around the corner as is big supermarket. Lots of varied restaurants around, and beach a minutes walk away. Nice quiet street, airy garden and plenty of secure parking. Great host, Chanu is very genuine and accommodating. We felt very at home. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Superb value for money and highly recommended especially for longer stays. Consider the front rooms with huge balcony overlooking garden.

WiFi can occasionally drop out in rooms

I've stayed in Weligama three times now, and over 6 guesthouses, this is by far my favourite guest house. It is situated on a quiet street, just across the road from the surf breaks and schools, with cafes very nearby. The value for money is exceptional and you receive nothing but the best treatment. Chanu was an exceptional host, he is a very good person, who prioritises his guests and treats them as if they are family. I came as a stranger and left a friend. Through my stay I met his family, his friends and had some very good times, we shared many meals, many drinks and many good times. I will one hundred percent come back here! The room air conditioning and fan are exceptional to battle the tropical heat.

Abosolutly perfect accommodation. Clean, you have everything you neeed. Chanu is super nice host. Gave us good recommendations, tasty breakfast. Arranged scooters rental, snorkelling, taxi to airport. Definitely coming back. 🩷

Super location so close to the beach lovely welcoming family. The location is only a minute to the beach but yet quiet and away from the busy main road.

I liked everything

Good size room. All worked as advertised. This hotel is about 3 mins walk from the beach and 10min to the place where most surf schools are. There a many good restaurants nearby. I took daily the breakfast and it was big and delicious. The owner and his father are lovely guys to meet.

I would recommend a automatic towel change when customers stay longer. I got them after asking.

Very reasonably priced. Airconditioned and comfortable stay for a few nights. The staff helped arrange a car for our onward journey within 15 minutes of asking it was sorted & on its way.

Quite dated & run down & the drains smelt very bad in the bathroom.
