Susan was an excellent host, very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. The hotel is intimate with lots of stylish and quirky touches. On the edge of Kemptown, it's surprisingly quiet and also very close to the coast plus the city centre is within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

It was all good!

Lovingly cared for property with scrupulous attention to detail in the rooms. Comfortable bed and crisp bed linen, good shower, nice toiletries and room was lovely and quiet. Owner was great. Lots of cushions and other little touches.

The room was a tad on the small side but it was so nice I didn’t mind.

Great host, nothing was too much trouble. Could literally choose your preferred breakfast each day and it would be freshly cooked. Quirky decor throughout. Very clean, great to have a mini fridge and fan in the room. Fab location for me, access to lots of walking areas (pier and beach one way, marina / undercliffs the other)

Only thing it didn't have was aircon, which is the case with many uk b&b's and even hotel chains

Staff and owner were amazing. Breakfast was equally great and set me up for each day. Quiet and cosy.

The room was a little smaller than expected - but still very comfy and lovely.

This hotel is delightful. The rooms are really comfortable, especially the bedding! Every detail has been though by the lovely Susie who is a delight. Excellent breakfast too. And despite being easily accessible to Brighton, it’s in the quieter end of Kemp Town so very peaceful.

Looked after well by the staff and looked after our bags as we were far too early - and they checked us in a little early which was great after travelling from Spain early that morning.

Gorgeous breakfast and the room was very clean. The location is perfect so you can walk everywhere and the sea at the bottom of the road. Perfect. Susie is a very warm friendly host.

Room was clean, comfy had tea making facilities, fridge, iron and ironing board along with an iPad for use. I did not have breakfast but the area and kitchen had a lovely feel to them. Location was ideal just 10-10mins walk from town centre. Host was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Twenty One. A warm welcome and the opportunity to purchase a permit which made parking simple and inexpensive. Great location, a one minute walk down to the beach and a ten minute walk to The Lanes. Hotel was atmospheric and our room beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed and fluffy towels! Plenty of tea and coffee and bottled water in the room. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was freshly prepared for us. Great value and an owner who clearly cares about her guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Very cute property. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the common areas as I had to leave very early in the morning, but the breakfast area especially looked beautiful and the room was well-designed. It was also near the beach and walkable to most places, but still on a quiet street.

My room itself was quite small - really all I needed for a one night stay, but it would’ve felt cramped if I had stayed for longer or wanted to spend more time in the room.

We loved our stay at Twenty One. It’s a beautiful boutique style hotel with gorgeous decor throughout. Loved the breakfast in the downstairs dining room and the special touches in the room like the cupcakes. The owner Suzie is just so obliging and friendly and she makes sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It’s in a great location with a short walk to the beach, shopping and so many restaurants. I highly recommend Twenty One.

A lovely warm welcome on arrival, a lot of time and effort has gone into the building making it very unique. Room was spacious and everything you need for a short stay including a fridge, Internet and a big screen TV .and an Ensuite with a powerful shower. Breakfast was amazing full English which i struggled to finish, real coffee and loads of toast. My first choice in Brighton from now on 5*

The location was great - very quiet but with easy reach of everything. The parking system was very easy to use and we luckily got a parking spot in the same road thanks to Suzie. Our room was lovely, very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable . The shower was a good size and all toiletries were provided. There was a mini fridge if you wanted to store anything and water tea and coffee was provided. There was a tv and even a tablet to use. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Suzie took our order the day before and we opted for full English. The bacon was real thick bacon, sausages were not cheap rubbish, fried eggs, real large mushrooms, hash browns, beans and really tasty grilled tomatoes. Toast, orange juice and hot drinks finished it off. But I think you could choose other options. The dining room was very quirky and homely. Great value for money. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

A very convivial hostess and owner, offering a very personal welcome, and breakfasts to your choosing.

The decor and aesthetic of the place was very unique and quirky - definitely stands out from the other options in the Brighton area! The fact that breakfast is also included in the price was definitely a big selling point too, as there weren't any other options in the area that offered this either! Property is just out of the city centre that it feels quiet and peaceful, but not too far away either if you do want to spend time in the centre. Sea front is literally on the doorstep too!

Very minor as everything was so positive about our stay - a written breakfast menu / choice of options to view ahead of time would've been preferable, as there are pictures on the site that give the impression there is a range, but our hosts were very accommodating and asked about dietary needs etc. upfront prior to check in, and each morning on what we wanted.

Die Gastgeberin war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend typisch Englisch stilvoll eingerichtet so wie auf dem Bildern.

Das Apartment liegt ein wenig am östlichen Rand von Brighton da Brighton aber nicht extrem groß ist und wir gut zu Fuß ist alles kein Problem

Great location for a short stroll into town for dinner. Right by the front. Comfy bed and nicely decorated throughout with fun quirky bits. Breakfast was delish. The owner was so friendly and accommodating especially as we booked extremely last minute. Street parking was handy. Will be going back!

There really wasn’t much, if u had to pick something it would be that the bathroom was a bit dated - though very clean. And I couldn’t work out the radio (possible that I’m an idiot) and there was an iPad in the room which surprised me and I was interested in what using it, but it/the charger didn’t work.

Very pleasant stay. The owner (Susie) was very helpful and welcoming. Double room was comfortable and on the small side with little space other than the bed and a single chair. Convenient for the bus services into Brighton and outwards towards Eastbourne. Limited parking but I always use the public transport when I stay in Brighton - cheap and lots of options.

Check-in was good and I appreciated receiving a call from the host earlier in the day to confirm when I'll be arriving. The room was beautifully set out. The host was very friendly and made my stay a good experience. Breakfast was amazing!

The interior design of this B&B was very stylish. Breakfast was great. Service was disappointing, the host didn't make us feel welcomed (we felt like we were in her way and we were not provided with information (such as check out time, breakfast time and WiFi code) at the time of check in or later.

The room was lovely, although a little dark. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, and the host was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than expected, but we would have loved to stay longer. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner of the hotel is a very friendly man. The breakfast was huge and very delicious. Personally I really enjoyed the interior of the room and the hotel in general. Even the breakfast plates, teacups and cutlery set were quite stylish, these tiny details made me really happy. The room was very well furbished and had a great morning light! There were two nice armchairs next to the window so it was a delight reading books in the morning. I really liked our room. Plus, the owner has two super cute dogs and it was so nice to play with them <3

The only bad thing is the steep stairs but it wasn’t a problem for us at all
