Everything was excellent from the room, cleansiness, air conditioning worked brilliantly. Staff were very polite and helpful. Location was good for all key points.

Breakfast could have been improved upon. Different types of eggs for breakfast and food being hot to eat.

Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities in the room were great. Loved that there was a shower and a bath. Bed was comfortable, but slightly hard for my liking (but this is personal preference)

Not a fan of having to pay extra to use a gym at the hotel. I think this should really be included with all bookings. I can slightly understand the spa being extra, but even then I think access to using a sauna/steam room should at least be included with bookings to the hotel if the facility is offered at the hotel.

La chambre était spacieuse et bonne literie. Pas de douche à l'italienne dommage. Bonne clim. Bon emplacement pour accéder aux monuments de Rome. On est à 15 minutes à pied. Accueil et service chaleureux.

Le petit déjeuner était moyen. Pain dur trop de sucré comparé au salé. Le rooftop fait plutôt terrasse. Le massage et l'accès au fitness est payant meme pour les clients de l'hôtel.

La propreté de l’établissement était vraiment super bien! Par contre j’ai réservé en mai à 500€ environ et j’ai voulu demander un alignement car le prix avait baissé à 310€ ils m’ont répondu quoi comme quoi si le prix avait augmenté j’aurai pas dis pareil.

Ça serai bien de marqué dans l’annonce que l’espace spa est en supplément.

We booked this hotel specifically because it had a gym and photos of a pool. However, you can’t use either without paying exorbitant amounts of money - $30 Aus. A day for people to use the gym . Or nearly $75 for use of the pool each time.

Location was excellent - 7 min walk from train station and easy walk to main attractions like Trevi fountain and colosseum. Free upgrade to a huge suite. Beds were extremely comfy. Food in the restaurant was some of the best I had in Rome and received 20% off voucher for staying in the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very modern and clean.

Most hotels give you free gym and spa access so thought this wasn’t great you had to pay extra. No iron also in the hotel.

Subject: Extremely rude and unprofessional treatment by staff — racist behavior To the Management, We arrived at your hotel and went to the reception desk. The staff member — who appeared to be named Mhilo — did not greet us at all. His facial expression and attitude were unwelcoming, as if he was surprised to see us there. I politely asked if there was any available room, and told him we were willing to pay. Without checking anything, he simply said: “No, you should have booked early.” When I asked if we could wait inside for a while while figuring out where to go, he firmly refused and said we could not stay there. When I asked if we could at least sit, he still said no and began arguing with me. This behavior was completely unprofessional, rude, and discriminatory. I have stayed in many well-known hotels around the world, and I have never been treated like this. It felt clear that he was acting this way because we are Asian — he was racist and disrespectful. To make matters worse, another staff member — an Italian man named Nhilo — was kind enough to show us another hotel nearby. We ended up staying at Reno Hotel right next door, where the receptionist was very polite and helpful. My concerns: • The staff member Mhilo was unfriendly, unprofessional, and refused basic courtesy • He appeared racist toward Asian guests • He refused to provide even basic help or allow us to wait • He argued with guests instead of being polite I strongly suggest you train your staff properly on professionalism, hospitality, and treating all guests equally regardless of race or appearance. Every guest deserves respect — especially in the hospitality industry.

Loved my room so spacious huge bathroom. Very clean and quiet. Close to the train station. About 25 minutes walk from attractions however taxis are available. Lots of bakeries and food places on the doorstep. Quiet rooms. Huge room. Really pleasant helpful staff. Loved my stay can't fault it.

The location of the hotel was excellent, the breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

The hotel was quite expensive, and I felt the overall experience did not fully justify the price.

Modern hotel, stayed here for 3 nights. The receptionists were helpful and inviting, the amenities and comfort of the room were good. A/C was strong and helped us cool off from walking under the intense heat all day.

There was only one issue: there was water leaking out from the bottom of the toilet every time we flushed. We reported this to the front desk, and they assured us they would send people to fix it. We came back at night to see towels stuffed underneath the toilet. When we flushed, water would still leak out. We reported this to the front desk the next day, and they said they would call the maintenance crew again and tell them to fix it. We came back at night and the problem was still there. We covered the floor with towels as a workaround, but it still felt very unpleasant. Thankfully, we were only in the room to sleep at night and spent most of our time outside. When we checked out, we told them that the issue persisted and they apologized. I don’t know what was up with our bathroom but that put a damper on our stay. I heard other people had a good experience. We were just unlucky. Everything was else great otherwise.

We stayed at the Hive Hotel for 4 days. The strength of the Hive Hotel is the personalities of the front desk staff. They are always positive and upbeat during all interactions: pre, during, and post hotel stay. They arranged an excellent airport transport for us and allowed an early check-in after our transatlantic flight. We traveled together as a family of six adults booked into 3 rooms. In our booking request, we asked to be near one another and in twin beds. However, this did not happen/we were spread out and in double beds, However, we made it work and attributed the mistake to checking in 2 hours early. The rooms which were serviced daily were very comfortable, large, and clean with modern decorating. The beds/bedding were decent, and the bathrooms were upgraded with rainhead showers/strong hot water flow. We could hear some street noise inside our rooms. The location was safe, convenient, and satisfactory for touring Rome, about a 30-minute walk to most historical sites. There were many restaurants and a supermarket within one block. It was important to us that this hotel was close to the rental car place at the train station. If you are using the train often and/or touring outside of Rome for the second part of your trip, this hotel works especially well because of its train station proximity. We were able to pick up our car at the train station and then return easily and quickly to pick up our passengers and luggage by pulling off on one of the side streets around the hotel for a few moments. We ate breakfast every morning and one lunch in the rooftop restaurant. The food choices at breakfast were good and abundant. However, in contrast to the front office staff, the servers are unfriendly and inattentive to customer needs. We didn't try the gym and spa, but we don't know if we would have even if we had extra time due to the additional charges.

Small, slow outdated elevators--we always took the stairs but this could be an issue for customers with disabilities. Gym and spa upcharges--it is always better to raise the overall room prices slightly and then offer your guests a more inclusive, elevated experience that includes some access to amenities.

Clean, nice location with short distance from the Train terminal. Shops and restaurants in the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved everything about this hotel from the facilities, the room and the location. I would definitely stay here again.

No pool which it does look like on the images. Also staff cleaned our room when day leaving a note thank you for the tip when we didn’t leave anything out suggesting this so who knows what he took. Raised with a woman and man at reception who spoke in the own language smiled and laughed then said least he was thanking you. Kinda rude and blew it over, so unhappy about this. Came across rude and did not give a single shit about the issue, be very different if it was something of theirs!

We stayed at the hotel for couple of days, we’re happy with everything in general, but were shocked by unprofessionalism of the staff for losing our luxury item we ordered there. While it clearly said on delivery receipt that the item was delivered and signed for by the hotel employee including their name, we were told multiple times that they do not have our package which was pricey and caused some stress at the end of our trip. Luckily the brand handled everything for us and the package miraculously appeared in the hotel after we left. While the brand who we purchased from handled the situation perfectly, the hotel never responded to a single email we sent. The Hive is ok for a short term stay, but we do not think it is trustworthy after this situation.

Un bon hôtel assez récent. Les chambres sont propres et la climatisation fonctionne très bien, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable à Rome. Très bien dans l'ensemble et assez bien situé : environ 20 minutes à pied du Colisée et 8 minutes de la gare Termini.

Le personnel à la réception est poli et correct, sans plus. Le personnel d'entretien est très sympathique et toujours à votre service. Au restaurant situé sur le toit, le service varie de très bien à passable. Ce n'est pas un hôtel où le personnel est particulièrement chaleureux; il offre simplement un service dans la norme.

המיטות נוחות, מיזוג אוויר מעולה. אחד המלונות הכי טובים שהייתי בהם. אוכל מעולה עם מבחר גדול. הצוות אדיב מאוד ונראה שהמלון עצמו חדש. קרוב לתחנת הרכבת (10 דקות בהליכה עם מזוודות) ולכל המקומות במרכז. היינו בירח הדבש שלנו והפתיעו אותנו עם ברבורים על המיטה.

Very beautiful Hotel with an amazing location to explore Rome by foot. Big advantage was the underground parking right at the hotel.

The only disadvantage was that you need to pay extra to use the SPA and the gym.

staff are rude and not responsive even i phoned them about to change the dirty towel the room is not soundproof and it overwhelmed with barbecue smell (i have phoned them to change the room yet not possible as it is fully occupied ;) staff said the smell is from their restaurant and ask us to stand with it till their restaurant is closed, which is 1030pm

It was not clear that the gym was not included. That was an incredible disappointment as that was a major reason we chose The Hive Hotel.
