Antica Dimora Magi exceeded all expectations. This accommodation did not disappoint. The location is wonderful with a beautiful indoor terrace and conveniently located in the heart of Sorrento’s historic district. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable about the hotel and were very attentive to our needs. All the accommodations and amenities were excellent, and the terrace is very relaxing for breakfast or an afternoon wine. The breakfast is wonderful ❤️. We could not have asked for a better location or accommodation. Thank you, Antica Dimora Magi, for a most awesome stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily give this hotel the highest possible rating. The hotel is beautiful, with a charming antique-style interior and a very special atmosphere. Our room was exceptionally spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Everything we could possibly need was there: even a washing machine, drying rack, ironing board and iron, as well as a dishwasher. We also really appreciated the lovely welcome details. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us as a gift, together with some delicious little treats on the pillows. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel very welcome from the very beginning. We were extremely happy to stay here and truly enjoyed being guests of this hotel. Everything felt generous, comfortable and carefully prepared. This place absolutely deserves the highest rating, and we would gladly stay here again.

Boendet var beläget mitt de centrala delarna och det var väldigt nära till det mesta. Personalen var bäst och hade en otroligt bra och personlig service. Mycket välstädat och fräscht på alla sätt.

Amazing staff from the moment we got there and no matter who it was, the service was impeccable. The restaurants the recommended also great. Location was the best I’ve stayed at, as it just catered for all our needs. Will definitely be returning which we rarely do but this place is worth it

Everything was great

The staff are very friendly the breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful! We loved the little touches and even had a birthday cake for my partners 40th. Very comfortable bed, very clean. Its central to everything, so going out and walking around the little streets is wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Can be a little noisy from other people, the lift that's outside the room, not ideal for light sleepers, but no noise from outside!

The rooms were extremely clean & comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the heart of sorrento. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the hotels own restaurant ‘La Cazzarola’ the staff were wonderful and the food amazing. Will definitely return!

We stayed here on our honeymoon and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. They surprised us with prosecco and cake to help us celebrate, and every morning we were treated to an incredible breakfast and delicious coffees, all served with such genuine warmth and care which was all included in the cost of our room. The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the heart of Sorrento. You step outside straight into the centre of everything, yet the rooms are spacious, peaceful, and wonderfully quiet. A gorgeous Italian sandwich deli just next door which sell beautiful sandwiches, and a gelato store 2 seconds away which you get a free voucher for! As a boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms, it has such an intimate, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel completely at home and very safe throughout our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.

It's not cheap but it's good value

This place was an absolute gem. If you’re looking for a true boutique hotel this is it. The staff on site was amazing for our 3 day stay. Truly just nice people who go above and beyond. They had a great breakfast buffet that’s included in your stay and would make you eggs and omelettes as well. The hotel never seemed crowded and we did enjoy the hot tub one day by ourselves for an hour or so. The location can’t be beat. You walk outside and bars and restaurants and shops all around. Walking distance to everything including about an 8 min walk to the ferry for day trips to capri or almafi etc. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Amazing staff, gorgeous clean hotel and brilliant location.

Firstly The staff unbelievably friendly and helpful. Set up a really useful WhatsApp group so you can message with any questions or for advice they reply quickly. It's a small intermate hotel where you feel they genuinely care that you enjoy your stay . Right in the heart of the Piassa Tasso you can just step out of the front of the hotel and your at amazing restraunts , lovely bars, shops and a stones through from the beautiful front where you can head down to the marine or just sit and take in the views. The room it's self we had a huge room and seperate bathroom with massive spa bath and large shower area with antiques every where you turn . It's genuinely incredible.

We loved our stay in the Caligola family room. We received such a warm welcome and all staff throughout our stay were very hospitable. The room felt luxurious, comfortable and quiet and we’ve found the central location worked well. We plan to visit again in the near future. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

The only slight negative was that after a couple of days of rain the bathroom drainage smelt because of the town drainage system. This dispersed when the sun came back out.

It was amazing - we had read all the good reviews online and we are so glad we booked here. The facilities were great, staff were exceptional and it was a lovely spacious room in the perfect location. We loved how modern the rooms were. Breakfast was brilliant too. We were deciding between this one and a 5 star hotel down the road and we are so glad we chose Antica Dimora Magi instead. We were celebrating a special event and the staff went out of their way to pamper us. We would recommend this place to family and friends and anyone visiting Sorrento.

A great boutique hotel, we booked 2 rooms, the garden view and duplex . Both rooms were modern , spacious , well decorated. The rooms were v.clean & fresh with Good air conditioning and facilities. The hotel staff very friendly and knowledgeable, we received welcoming Prosecco , hand made biscuits, and vouchers for complimentary ice cream . The hotel is located minutes away from the centre , which is perfect for trains , ferries , shops, restaurants and bars . The location could not have been better . Although located in the centre , our rooms were quiet, we slept well. Highly recommend

The people and the service, Anna Bella was very welcoming and met our every need, Emma cooked the best omelets and Raffella is a super clean housekeeper. All are very friendly and welcoming we felt like we were at home not a hotel. Even my daughter thought they were a family! The street has everything you need, location is excellent! Just make sure you don’t have a lot of luggage since cars can’t come to the door of the stay you have to drag the luggage 1 street away( 3 min ). I would suggest maybe add more savory than sweet options on breakfast just a thought!

The stuff was amazing, the location was perfect. The room was clean with nice smell. The stuff was so kind and they put all the attention specially for you. My husband has a birthday they make him a cake. We had a welcoming wine and snacks. They clean the room every day. Very special hotel with special stuff. Thank you❤️

The property was beautiful. The perfect boutique hotel experience as the location is amazing and extremely close to everything you need in sorrento! The staff here was extremely accommodating, provided assistance, suggestions, and service at all times. The breakfast on the terrace was quaint and peaceful with the best handmade omelette and cappuccinos. My friend and I loved our girls trip and will definitely be back!

We couldn’t fault this charming hotel in the centre of Sorrento! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and always went the extra mile for us during our stay! The building and room were beautiful with original features throughout, the terrace area with a jacuzzi and amazing breakfast made the stay even more comfortable!

We just returned from a 10 day European trip. Our last two nights were at Antica Dimora Magi which were the best! The hotel looks new. Our room was beautiful. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We will definitely return.

Super location and gorgeous building

The location was perfect-central and close to shops, restaurants, the port. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to help and make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice.

Beds were a little hard. The air conditioning did not stay on continuously (when we were in the room), so room temperature overnight could be variable.

We had a great stay. The staff were so kind and accommodating with our late arrival- communicating often. The included breakfast every morning had a lovely spread and coffee was made to order. Our room was spacious with plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s right in the middle of it all, but on a quieter side street so we got to sleep with the window open. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when in Sorrento and hopefully will be able to return soon.

We were visiting Sorrento to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Antica Dimora Magi. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with only 4 rooms, perfectly located in the centre of Sorrento on one of the quaint old streets. The historic building has been beautifully restored with a modern twist. Our room was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Lovely bathroom with plenty of storage. Breakfast was served in the garden by the delightful Emma every morning and the choice was excellent. What really sets this hotel apart from others is the fantastic staff. Anna Bella, Rosanna and Emma were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. To celebrate our anniversary, they left a bottle of fizz and a delicious cake in our room, which was such a lovely gesture. Thank you for making our stay so special. We hope to come back soon x

I can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is stunningly beautify and incredibly well located and in addition to all that- the staff are amazing! There are so many shopping and dining options right outside your door andeverything you need is close by. The staff is absolute top notch and do everything they possibly can to make your stay amazing. We give our very highest recommendation for this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning boutique hotel in Sorrento, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the city, this hidden gem offered an oasis of tranquility with its beautiful private garden. The highlight? A luxurious hot tub that became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Each morning, we were greeted with an outstanding breakfast spread that was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. Fresh pastries, local delicacies, and the star of the show: their made-to-order omelette section. The chef’s skill and attention to detail were remarkable, with each omelette perfectly crafted to our taste, using the freshest ingredients. The combination of the serene garden, indulgent hot tub, and that unforgettable breakfast made our stay truly exceptional. I can’t recommend this boutique hotel enough for anyone looking for an intimate and unique Sorrento experience!

Location was super, right in the centre of everything with no night time noises. Staff were outstanding so friendly & helpful. Room was immaculately clean with a lovely view of the courtyard and jacuzzi. Room had mini kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, oven & sink which is useful & mini market few min walk away. Large TV for a movie. We used the jacuzzi twice daily and it was a lovely added extra. On arrival there was a bottle of wine left in our room with some treats & a voucher for 10% off Roberta's restaurant, we highly recommend the restaurant also. Breakfast was lovely with a lovely choice of all freshly baked items, bacon, beans, fresh omlettes, mini quiche, crepes & good coffee. Service was wonderful, such a warm smile every morning and a few words on our plans for the day. Our departure was before breakfast and they went out of their way to ensure we had breakfast before departure. An array of items were delivered to our room the night beforehand including our favourite brioche :-) well done on the finer details I really gave added luxury to our stay! We would absolutely stay here again :-)

Amazing location! We walked everywhere; it was perfect. The staff was absolutely incredible. So friendly, always willing to help, went above and beyond. It was also so clean!

If we were to stay here in the future (and we would), we’d get a room that didn’t have the spiral staircase. It was hard getting our luggage up and also inconvenient having our bed upstairs and bathroom downstairs.

Perfect location and the staff were amazing and attentive (they messaged us when they didn’t see us for breakfast one morning). Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here! We are so glad we found this place!

We can just recommend this place, because not only the place, and it’s location, furthermore the kindness of the staff. Every program, that we would have liked to do were well organized, all the answers we got immediately. The breakfast is one of the best we had, because of the smile, and kindness with it was served! 😁😁😁

In a great location and easy to walk everywhere we needed to go. The staff went above and beyond and were so friendly and helpful. They organised a transfer from Naples airport for us stopping at Pompeii on the way and the next day a boat tour to Capri. Both tours were amazing!! The breakfast was a highlight. Would 100% recommend and hopefully we will be back soon!

Comfy beds, very modern and beautiful rooms, location is right in the centre and great breakfast! Have to applaud the service from Anna Bella, Roberta, Guisy + (cleaning lady). They all provided us with such lovely hospitality and made sure we were taken care off! We couldn't make breakfast on time for one of the mornings & due to outdoor weather conditions they offered us breakfast via room service! (also got a welcome Prosecco bottle in our room upon arrival ;)) The rooms are beautiful and the whole accomodation has a boutique atmosphere feel with an antique decor. (Very clean too!) Out of all the places I searched in Sorrento, this one stood out to me the most, mainly because of how great the value was for such a stunning interior/exterior. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely visit again the next time we're here :)

This hotel was just great, didn’t expect such high level of service. Location is in the heart of the city centre. Room is spacious and includes everything you may need. It also has a kitchen and a washing machine. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options, one of the best we had in Italy. Also the hotel greeted as with the coupons for ice cream, aperol, restaurant discounts and they even put cookies and Prosecco to our room. Price greatly matches value

The front desk team went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome, offering helpful tips about the local area and making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for Sorrento made me feel like I was staying with friends rather than at a hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. What truly sets Magi House apart, however, is the personal attention and care the staff provide. They were always on hand to assist with any request, no matter how small, and did so with a smile. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending the best local restaurants, or simply asking how my day was, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. The breakfast each morning was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with the same level of attentiveness that characterised my entire stay (the omelettes were delicious).
