Looks totally different from the photos shown. The guard was rude also the staff are inattentive. I need to book another hotel as I cannot stay in the property more than 10 mins. It smells so bad.

A superb stay at Ramada Encore! The hotel is both easy to reach and pleasantly quiet, offering the best of both worlds so close to Makati's vibrant center. The rooms are spacious and clean, complete with a great city view, and I received exactly the room I had requested. Service was outstanding, handled with true professionalism by the staff—Jeffrey deserves a special mention for his excellent room service. Exploring the area was simple: I found a top-notch restaurant and a fun club nearby, accessible either on foot or by car. An all-around excellent experience!

Огромные окна нашего номера были очень грязные. Нас поселили в номер, где за грязными окнами располагались огромные сплит системы кондиционеров и балкон, где стирали одежду и смотрели в наши окна сотрудники отеля. При заселении на ресепшне бегал огромный таракан. Слава Богу, в номере вроде не было.

Filipinos are usually incredibly friendly and welcoming. That’s why I was quite surprised that the staff at this hotel, particularly those at the front desk, didn’t seem very friendly or smile much.

WiFi constantly failing and at one stage was out overnight.. Lighting not working aircon remotes not working working unable to control the aircon..fridge in the room not working .Hot water in the shower cutting out. .At one stage I changed rooms and had the same issues in the new room

Our stay at the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Makati was nothing short of an absolute nightmare, and I urge anyone reading this to book elsewhere. For a brand that carries the Wyndham name, the utter lack of basic hygiene, maintenance, and hospitality was genuinely shocking. From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The front desk staff set a dismal tone for our stay—they were entirely unaccommodating, cold, and seemingly indifferent to the concept of customer service. As we walked to our room, the hallways greeted us with a pungent, nauseating odor resembling wet, mildewed clothes, stale cigarette smoke, and rotting organic matter. Unfortunately, the state of the room was even worse: Severe Safety Hazards: The air conditioning unit was malfunctioning, actively leaking pools of water all over the floor. This wasn’t just an inconvenience; it was a severe slipping hazard that went entirely unaddressed. Deplorable Hygiene: The bathroom shower was visibly dirty and lacked proper drainage, causing dirty water to back up around our feet. Furthermore, the bedding was marred with unsettling, visible stains. A Medical Nightmare: The absolute breaking point occurred the next morning when we woke up covered in painful, itchy bed bug bites. When we brought the bed bug infestation to management's attention, the staff dismissively claimed they had "never heard of this issue before." Their defensive shrug and complete lack of empathy made it crystal clear that guest health and safety are not priorities for this establishment. Do not be fooled by marketing or proximity. This property is an absolute health hazard, completely neglected by its staff and management. Save your money, protect your health, and book anywhere else. It is not worth a single cent, let alone the stress.

Beware of an unpleasant odor and misleading hotel photos. I booked this hotel based on what I expected of a four-star hotel and the deceptive photos it posted on Booking.com and other apps and websites. However, the reality is completely different from the pictures. Don't be fooled by the images of the bedrooms and facilities. The carpets in the rooms and hallways are unclean, and with the heat and humidity in this city, they emit a very unpleasant odor that causes shortness of breath. The breakfast is very basic, and the restaurant is not what it appears in the photos and videos. I even found insects crawling among the food. The staff's service were unhelpful.

I liked that the room was spacious and very comfortable, giving plenty of space to relax. I would also like to thank the chinita girl, who was very accommodating and understanding.

The bed linens and pillowcases were a bit dirty, with visible chocolate-like stains. The shower area was also very dirty, and the toilet bowl had visible stains and dirt. There was dust everywhere in the room. In addition, the parking area is very small. I was even called up to my room and asked to relocate my parking space because another car needed to leave.

Only the location was good.

First of all, staff was helpless especially receptionist. They were giving wrong information. They said breakfast was till 10.30 am. But which we saw first come, first take. There is no refilling any items. Room was very old and dirty. There were so many pests and till 1.30 am there is exhaust noice ! This is one of the worst hotel which we stayed. Luckily didnt make longer stay.

The airconditioned in the room that we stayed in is leaking, and also the shower drain clogged everytime we take a bath. Importantly not satisfied of the cleanliness compared to other Ramada hotel abroad.

Ramada Encore Makati Manila scores high on location—it's easy to get to from the airport, and there’s no shortage of cafés, restaurants, and even great street food nearby. However, the experience really depends on your room. If you’re a light sleeper like me, rooms facing the main road can be a big drawback. They’re quite noisy and far from peaceful—I had to rely on earplugs just to get through the night. Without them, it would have been a sleepless stay. The breakfast buffet was another letdown—honestly, it could use significant improvement. On the bright side, the ladies at reception were lovely and courteous throughout, even though they weren’t able to accommodate my request to switch rooms due to the noise. Would I stay here again? Yes—but only if I’m assured a room that doesn’t face the main road.

Terrible service. Staff delayed my check in by 3 hours. Bedrooms have damp infused wood and sounds like rats running through ceiling.

The staff is amazing ... Chon at the reception and Marian the head of the front office ..the housekeeping lady ,, I am sorry I don't know her name 😂.. Joshua at the breakfast and the egg station lady. Amazing team ... I will come over and over again.

This hotel in reality max. 2 stars hotel. There were a lot of bad things: - the walls were crumbling, the breakfast was very poor, the reception ladies were disgusting, the view is at best a crumbling roof, at worst another wall. They charged me extra because my towel and sheet got bloody. The rooms are only cleaned if you ask for it, and then only roughly. In 5 days they never vacuumed or washed the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

One of the worst experiences I had in Asia. Being deceived by the name of the brand, which I though is the same international brand we have in Europe, I booked. The staff has nothing to do with hospitality. From the first moment I step in the hotel, the receptionist look bored and annoyed that I wanted to check in. Her sour face, told me that this is not gonna be a great stay. Unfortunately when I realised that this hotel has nothing to do with the brand that I knew, it was too late to change due to my heavy meetings schedule. The room was clean, but smelled moldy, but kind of clean. I did not receive an invoice for one night, which I paid with my card. Probably they pocketed the money. Here comes the story, when I tried to check out, even I left the room in perfect order, they came up with a story that I smoked in the room, due the fact that they found some trash that I disposed from my backpack from an e-ciggarette (not vape). I asked point blank if they do this, because they want my deposit, and they started to spin my words in their local language. Best do not order a taxi until you finish the check out here, they will try to take advantage that you are in a hurry. Anyway, when I tried to talk to the GM, they told me that she is not there (Tuesday morning at 11 AM) she is not at work. I am gonna escalate onto social media, so other people will avoid this.

Room was clean and spacious

Most of the staff seemed too tired or pre occupied when working on the floor. Only some of them gave smiles or offered a helping hand when guests arrive or pass the reception area. Breakfast was too cold at around 9AM on our first day there. Nobody seemed to care that the guests were complaining about the food not being replenished on time and that the dishes were getting colder by the minute.
