I really liked the family that was running the residence. They made sure that everything was comfortable and we had everything we needed. They made us really nice breakfast in the morning and were on general really nice and polite.

Everything. The family(Alanka and his Mum) are very nice and easy to communicate with, before arrival and during our stay. We choose 2 rooms for our group with fans only and they were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is the best we came across in Sri Lanka (even more expensive places). The location is perfect for proximity to the airport and Alanka has a van for transport to the airport for extra cost. I also loved that it is located in a residential area (not touristy) and there is a restaurant around the corner that serves really nice food.

It was lovely experience that I stay local house. The room had high ceilings and a mosquito net. I comfortably stay there by ceiling fan without air condition. There are quiet place, a little far from Negombo downtown. The owner accommodated a late check-out because my return flight was a night flight

I had forgotten to ask about WiFi. It was a shame that the powder milk had run out when I had a cup of tea.

Simple homestay accommodation. Comfortable, has all that we needed for a layover after a very long flight. Excellent and plentiful breakfast

Nous avons passé un moment absolument merveilleux dans cette résidence confortable, propre accompagné d’un déjeuné copieux et aux spécialités srilankaises absolument délicieuses. L'endroit est chaleureux et authentique, et on s'y sent immédiatement à l'aise. Notre hôte s'est montré d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquable, nous accompagnant avec beaucoup d'attention tout au long de notre séjour. On sentait un véritable soin apporté à l'accueil, avec des conseils précieux et une bonne humeur communicative du début à la fin. Il a notamment organisé pour nous un tour en bâteau pour visiter la lagune de Negombo et voir son coucher de soleil. Puis le lendemain, nous avons suivi Alanka pour une journée de visite complète avec le temple de Dambulla, un safari à Minneriya, des massages ayurvédiques dans un endroit superbe, et de nombreux arrêts en route pour découvrir et goûter de nouvelles spécialités locales, jusqu’à nous déposer à notre logement suivant ! Une expérience riche et authentique, pensée avec beaucoup d'attention. C'est ce genre de rencontre qui rend un voyage vraiment spécial. Nous recommandons vivement Alanka et sa famille à tous les futurs voyageurs à la recherche d'un accueil sincère et attentionné. Un immense merci pour ce moment partagé !

It was exactly like the description and very clean. Everything in the room work well. Mosquito nets installed and windows which you can open. but that depends on your room.

Maybe the location is not perfect but it is a transit hotel and for that it’s great. No breakfast before 7:30 if you leave earlier but don’t worry the host had some descent offers for us.

De gastheer en vrouw waren echt heel aardig. Communicatie was goed en duidelijk. In verband met de storm en de enorme regenval de afgelopen maanden ziet het huis en de plaats er niet zo uit als op de foto, maar daar heeft hij vooraf heel duidelijk over gecommuniceerd. Wij gingen toch vanwege de gastvrijheid en om de lokale mensen te steunen in deze tijd. We hadden 2 kamers met airco. Simpele kamers, maar schoon. Je slaapt bij de mensen in hun eigen huis op een eigen verdieping. Het is dus geen hotel, maar een echt huis, met foto's van de eigenaren. Wij vonden dat heel leuk. Het ontbijt wat mega goed, overweldigend veel. De gastheer kan je ook naar andere plekken brengen of rondrijden in Sri Lanka. Als we dat van te voren hadden geweten hadden we dat zeker gedaan. Om de hoek zit een restaurant, niet groot, maar wel goed eten. De eigenaar kan je ook voor een meerprijs ophalen van het vliegveld.

Wir wurden vom Inhaber in der Nacht vom Flughafen abgeholt (gegen vorher vereinbarten Preis). Alles hat super geklappt. Außerdem hat uns der Inhaber kostenlos ein Zimmer-Upgrade gegeben und uns bei der Organisation der Weiterreise geholfen. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig.

Simple, old but clean room, great value for money - especially for rich, delicious home-made breakfast. Strategic location near the airport.

In my view a bit hysterical written communication prior to our arrival, apparently trying to set our expectations low to prevent disappointment which was not necessary.

Cerca del aeropuerto y la gente que lo lleva se nota que intenta hacerlo bien.

El alojamiento es mucho más sencillo de lo que imaginamos. Por la noche llovió y nos cayó agua encima de la cama, cosa que hizo que ya no durmiéramos bien pendientes de que no cayera más agua encima de las niñas. El alojamiento necesita bastantes mejoras.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast and huge and delicious, everything very clean, had A/C and fan, pretty fruit trees all around balcony where breakfast is served, and staff/owners were very nervous ce and coating our very late arrival. They picked us up from airport and communication clear.

It was a good stay, I don’t have any complaints.

The master waited for me despite my late-night flight. and He upgraded my room without my request,everythig was so kindness for me.

He was a little slow to answer my question on the booking.com website.

The breakfast was served nicely. We had their local food items in breakfast and it was tasty. Their behaviour was so good. They are generous.

May be the cost can be lower in the off season that’s just it. Other than that, it was a good place to recommend others.

オーナーさんから宿泊前日にwhatsupで連絡をいただき、コミュニケーションが取れていたので安心して宿泊できました。 (宿の様子などを細かく説明いただきました。) 深夜に空港に着きましたがトゥクトゥクで15分400円程度で宿までつきました。空港に近く、アクセス抜群です。(時間帯にも寄るようですが、ホテルに送迎を頼むと15USDのようです。空港の敷地内にトゥクトゥクは入ってこれないため、歩いて空港の敷地から出る必要があり、トゥクトゥクとの待ち合わせに少し苦労しましたが、pickmeのアプリでドライバーの場所もわかりやすかったので問題なしでした。) 4月末の宿泊でしたが、夜に雨も降っていたので案外涼しく、エアコンなしの部屋でもファンを回せば十分でした。ぐっすり爆睡できました。部屋は清潔でベッドも広く 朝食は最も早い時間で、7:30から。

真夏だとエアコン無しの部屋はきついかも。私たちは4月末の滞在だったので扇風機で十分でした。

Les hôtes sont très gentils. Ils nous ont permis de laisser nos sacs après l'aéroport pour aller visiter colombo le temps que notre chambre ce libère. Petit déjeuné très copieux. Chambre propres, eau chaude . Restaurant juste à côté très bon. Et rapport qualité prix super. Je recommande :)

We had no complaints. Our hosts were a bit concerned about some minor damage they are still working on in the external property following last year’s cyclone, but this really wasn’t a problem and does not have any impact on the accomodation.

Great hospitality, great arrangement. The house owner's wife welcomed us very late at night as we landed late in Sri Lanka. She greeted us well and managed everything beautifully. She served delicious breakfast with great touch of Sri Lankan cuisines. We are travelling with my 20 months old Daughter and in the breakfast they arranged special poached egg without our any pro-active instructions. Moreover, they arranged special seperate Mug and other stuffs for my daughter as well.. Number one choice if you want to stay within a family environment.

Stay here!! What a wonderful place to arrive to after landing in Sri Lanka. Close to the airport with easy transport. The owners are so kind and accommodating, this is a true family run establishment. The BREAKFAST... BEST we had in our month long trip to Sri Lanka. I cannot say enough wonderful things. Slept so well. Comfortable bed, lovely neighborhood location... we will stay here every time. Thank you!

Conveniently located near the airport and good value for money. We also got a free room upgrade and they organized a tour to Dambulla and Sigiriya for us with regular treats on the way.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming as we arrived at 1am from the airport The rooms were spacious and clean The breakfast was delicious We felt very comfortable and looked after the munute we arrived! Highly recommend

Die familiengeführte Unterkunft bietet genau das, was ich gesucht habe - u.a. die Nähe zum Flughafen. Der Kontakt vor meiner Ankunft war überaus freundlich und alle Fragen wurden prompt beantwortet. Auch der Empfang und der weitere Aufenthalt waren wirklich sehr nett und absolut hilfsbereit. Mein Zimmer war sauber und für meinen Anspruch total ausreichend. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis top. Für mich der einzige kleine Nachteil, dass die Unterkunft ziemlich abgelegenen von Restaurants oder sonstigen Einrichtungen liegt. Weiterer Pluspunkt : Der Shuttle zum Flughafen.

Great communication from the owner, very friendly and helpful - he picked us up from the airport and organised a driver to take us to Sigiriya via Dambulla caves. Breakfast was lovely too - highly recommend staying here for a personal Sri Lankan experience!

Freundliche und hilfreiche Kommunikation vorab per Whatsapp. Mein Zimmer war groß, sauber und mit einem Moskitonetz ausgestattet. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. In ca. 15 Minuten ist man am Flughafen für ca. 700 Rupien. Das Frühstück war üppig und es wurde sogar auf einen von mir am Vorabend geäußerten Sonderwunsch eingegangen.

Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. We zijn erg vriendelijk ontvangen door Alanka. Alanka informeerde mij op voorhand dat ze momenteel nog druk bezig zijn met het herstellen na de overstromingen van eind 2025, hier hebben wij echter geen last van gehad tijdens het verblijf. Wij verbleven kort i.v.m. onze vlucht die vervroegd was maar ook tijdens het korte verblijf stond Alanka voor ons klaar en maakte het ons erg comfortabel.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft und eine super nette Familie. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen machte den Start unserer Sri-Lanka-Reise perfekt! Alanka half uns bei unserer Reiseplanung und bot uns an, uns zu unserem nächsten Stopp nach Sigiriya zu fahren. Im Gegensatz zu einem herkömmlichen Taxi machten wir mehrere Zwischenstopps und nahmen nicht die schnellste, sondern die eindrucksvollste Route zu unserem Ziel. Alanka zeigte uns typische Delikatessen wie heimische Früchte und leckeres Streetfood und erzählte uns viel über Sri Lanka und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir hatten großes Glück, durch die Buchung unserer Unterkunft an so einen kompetenten Guide zu kommen. Der Tagesausflug war auf jeden Fall ein absolutes Highlight und jeden Cent wert!

Nous avons passé ici une nuit avant notre vol retour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil, la chambre, la literie. Nous avons également pu dîner sur place et c'était très bon et pratique car nous devions nous lever très tôt. Le gérant nous a organisé le trajet pour l'aéroport à 5h30 du matin. Tout était très bien#

It was a very nice and friendly place to be. The home stay is not the most modern but it is well kept, tidy and nice. The owner was communicating well beforehand via WhatsApp offering to do a guide if we want, water was hot (not often on Sri Lanka), all and all pleasant experience. Breakfast was local, when we asked for a beer he was ready and got us a cold 750ml Lion, place was quiet and nice. Also we got a free upgrade to a bigger room for free.

A clean and charming guesthouse with a very attentive staff. The breakfast was exceptionally good, tasty, and generous for this area. The room was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. It is also conveniently located close to the airport, which makes it very practical if you have an early or late flight scheduled. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a place we would happily recommend.

I stayed there for one night for a sleepover. It was a very comfortable room and bed. The staff is so friendly and they serve very good sri lankan breakfast in the morning. Will definitley come back!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Alanka (the owner) arranged transport for me from the Airport. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious (so much food). Very helpful staff.
