Very impressive decor and facilities. Lovely location and just a short walk into the town centre

We were placed extremely close to the next table at the evening meal, even though there were lots of other tables available. That made it uncomfortable and we left the restaurant as soon as we had eaten our meal

Pillows could be more comfortable (Room 229). An invoice prior to check out would be more convenient rather than holding up the queue whilst trying to check the details. Bar items could be itemised.

Great facilities. Staff were extremely helpful, as an example shown to our rooms not just pointed in the right direction. Food was very good and well presented. Bars and restaurant had lovely warm inviting ambiance.

Everything we were upgraded very lovely surprise to a feature room it was fantastic and huge made our stay. The reception girls were so welcoming and friendly and all the staff lovely cheerful and happy the breakfast was great too the whole hotel is beautiful and homely loved it in centre of town with good parking

In many ways our stay was a delight. The setting is beautiful. The staff were generally very professional, friendly and helpful. I had made an error in booking a 4th night and had to cancel. Although I hadn't booked the option of free cancellation, as a courtesy, I was graciously refunded. So human! Thank you!

What didn't really come up to standard was the food. My husband has a gluten allergy. It would have been nice if there were more options for him for breakfast than toast. My croissants seemed old, it would have been easy to have warmed frozen croissants even gluten-free ones. Whilst the food looked good it tasted bland. On one of our 3 days stay, our room wasn't serviced apart from clean towels and coffee sachets which I asked for. No milk, bed not made up, dishes not cleaned, rubbish bins not emptied, floor and surfaces not cleaned. The cleaner didn't want to enter the room and said she would come back later but didn't.

My only gripe is that the room prices are a little OTT. They are constantly creeping higher than should be reasonably expected.

I've stayed here before and loved it so when I knew I was visiting Beverley again there was nowhere else I wanted to stay. I was in a terraced apartment just outside the main building. Absolutely gorgeous. Mega comfy bed, tasteful deco. Free tea, coffee and water. Usb ports by bed. Huge bathroom with door on toilet. Cruelty free toiletries Everything you could ask for. The evening meal was excellent as well, with good vegan options and desserts. The staff were professional, friendly (especially the morning team). Highly recommend.

Didn’t like having to go and get your own tea / coffee at breakfast. This is a step backwards in my opinion and not what I expect when you already have staff there serving hot breakfasts.

The bed and the pillows weren't to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel so not a great nights sleep.

Space and assistance throughout the stay was generous for my wheelchair. Excellent choice of hot and cold food and drinks at breakfast. The staff were all pleasant and had time for you if you needed assistance.

The doorways were a tight fit to get the wheelchair through. The towel dryer in the bathroom was a little to hot. The electric charging point for the car would not work and no-one seemed to have any idea on how to use them.

Booked through Booking.com who refuse to update their website with information provided by the hotel which would have informed us that the room we booked had a small double bed. I have told Booking.com as well but received no response. The weather was very hot and the room was likewise; even with the window open, it made no difference.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is perfectly positioned just past the North Bar. Recently renovated and very well done. Huge twin room with big bathroom and walk in shower. This was probably an "accessible" room which accounts for the size making it big enough to accommodate a wheelchair user. Lovely public spaces and great cocktails. Huge breakfast. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Paid extra for a feature room and it was well worth it. Lots of space with couch, chair and several tables. The bathroom was also huge with the toilet in a separate area from the bath and shower. Very comfy and beautifully decorated (to my taste anyway) - a nice blend of traditional and modern. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing to have several choices for my lactose intolerant husband, particularly when it came to pudding. All the food was delicious. Breakfast was also fresh and tasty (hot food was cooked to order). All the staff we met we friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff in particular were lovely and chatty and made us feel that nothing was too much bother. We were only staying 2 nights so left the "do not disturb sign" up when we went out as we were happy to re-use our towels etc, but it was a lovely surprise to get back and discover that housekeeping had left us a bag with a fresh bottle of water, spare coffees, teas etc and even an extra toilet roll; these unexpected supplies were a really thoughtful touch.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, with lots of thoughtful extras. The outside terraces were really great. The location was central yet not noisy. The breakfast was delicious. Vegetarians are well catered for.

A little disappointed in some aspects of the breakfast. Had smashed avocado on sourdough but not toasted so just soggy bread, and sausage very anaemic looking and poor quality. Didn’t clear tables quickly enough .

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, good breakfast with lots of choice, car park had lots of room for parking, and no noise from out side or inside through the night to keep you awake .

During what was probably an unprecedented summer which we’re not normally used to, rooms could be enhanced in future by air conditioning rather than just a fan for the room.

This is a wonderful hotel and I've stayed here a couple of times. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are good, as well as the location.

Front Desk does not have any amenities in case you've forgotten something, e.g., a toothbrush, toothpaste. Unfortunately, I arrived without my suitcase (which was not on my flight, but on a later flight) and I did not have a toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.

Signature room met expectations, excellent breakfast, dining room well staffed and all staff were superb.

Rather limited dinner menu didn't match the overall standard of the hotel though cooking, presentation and service was very good

Very comfortable room - huge bathroom with walk-in shower AND a bath, plus 2 washbasins. Great choice at breakfast and all freshly cooked - lovely.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. also it was central to the market area where there were other venues to visit, the food was very well prepared and cooked to order, it was very clean and in good order and our room was large with a big shower enough room for 2 people, and with a good sized car park so all in all a good place to stay for a few days..

It was in a convenient location . It was clean and the environment was good. I had hurt my back prior to the break but everything was easily assessable for me.

I had eggs benedict which I didn't think was the best one I have had but my husband had the big breakfast and it was lovely. Overall the breakfast was lovely. The location is lovely we really like Beverly.i was very pleased we had decaffeinated tea bags in our room, which is very rare. Our rom was very nice.

On booking.com the initial price quoted a small double room, in actual fact after I booked the room it said the bed was a three quarter bed which obviously for 2 adults is not big enough. So we had to upgrade. It should be stated clearly with Booking.com that the first price is for a three quarter bed and not just described as a small double bedroom!

I have stayed at the Beverley arms in the past and it has maintained its standards. It’s in a good location and the rooms I have used have been kept in good order. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good quality and plentiful.

Although food is good quality it could be a bit more sophisticated.

The Hotel is situated in centre of town with so many little shops cafés and restaurants around....loved the few of the Abbey from our bedroom window and the staff were so helpful and caring... nothing was too much trouble...We sat in the courtyard of hotel and had drinks was so relaxing ..We will definitely be going back ...

As always immaculate. Excellent staff, very clean and tidy. The room was perfect.

When we arrived at the room there was a basket with couple of bags of crisps, peanuts and 2 small chocolate bars which I thought was a nice touch. Then I saw the price list. I think it would have been nice for them to be free considering the price we paid. We will still stay again tho. 😁

There was no air conditioning in the room, which was ok but we did not have a fan either, every other room did. I do think the hotel should have done something about this, especially as we were there for 3 nights and the weather was extremely hot, we were experiencing a heatwave.

The hotel was well presented with very friendly helpful staff who without exception made our stay wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and the food (both breakfast & dinner) was extremely good.
