Nice comfy room. Near the centre of town up the hill. Was very quiet despite being above the pub. Great sea view.

Bath towels were indecently small!

Booked single room with sea view. Room was exactly as described above a small pub with a lovely quiet vibe. Impressively clean. Comfortable bed pillows and linens. Small bathroom but very clean and functional. Location excellent. Just a few minutes uphill walk from main street leading down to historic areas and beach front. Bus stop only a minutes walk away Definitely recommend

As Americans traveling abroad, staying above a traditional British pub was an absolute highlight of our trip. The Nags Head Inn gave us the exact local experience we were hoping for. The pub itself has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere filled with incredibly friendly people. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the staff. They were absolutely amazing, super helpful, and consistently went out of their way to provide us with local information and travel guides. As for the accommodations, the rooms were delightfully clean, comfortable, and highly efficient. If you want a genuine, warm, and fun place to stay, we cannot recommend The Nags Head Inn enough!

Beautiful room above a local no frills sports pub. Large terrace with amazing views across Lyme. Incredible sunset. Good service. Big comfy bed and a well laid out modern room. Highly recommended

Wonderful little room above the pub, with a beautiful view of the village sloping down towards the sea and the sound of seagulls. The pub staff was very kind and helpful, they made me feel very welcome. It was nice and convenient to have the pub downstairs for dinner after a long day of walking the coast path.

It's a comfortable room in a pub - we had everything we needed. The pub terrace is nice, and it isn't very far from the centre of town, just a 10 minute walk away, if that.

the balcony /decking with comfy furniture ........overlooking Lyme Regis and the sea. The staff were great. The guy behind the bar even charged my phone for me as i didn't have the right charger.

Just to note that I had a good stay otherwise but noise was an issue for me. It does say on the listing that it is an old building and to expect noise as it’s a pub. I wasn’t affected by pub noise as it was a week night so pub closed about 10ish but the noise between rooms was too much for me. Could hear TV from the room next door so loudly it felt like was in my room, and could hear entire conversations of people next door. As well as people moving in corridors, doors opening etc

There was no breakfast offered, which I was aware of. Room was bijou but had everything I needed.

It was fine just as it was.

The location was great! Just a walk down the hill leading straight to the beach front. A bit of an exercise on the way back, but it we knew about it. The room was clean and comfy. We got to find few amazing small pieces of fossils.

It could have been a little bit less money for the stay, but in general the whole area is a bit expensive. The local buss is not running very often. Quite hard to just get a table when walk in a restaurant even though they had some free tables they still refused to serve us. So we got take away and had meal on a bench looking at the sea that was great.

The shower was good nd the bed was comfy

No parking, steep stairs, noisy bar , no reception and no human contact.

Great location, perfect for our 1 night stay in Lyme Regis. Clean and tidy with excellent shower. Great pint of Guinness in the bar and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Friendly staff, large and comfortable room and well positioned in Lyme Regis.

We stayed two nights but our room wasn't touched after the 1st night. It would have been nice to at least have the tea and coffee sachets replenished.

Zeer veel lawaai uit de kroeg (moesten na de afgesproken tijd gaan verzoeken om stilte), kleine kamer met klein bed, matig schoon. Geen coulance in uurtje later uitchecken, geen coulance in uurtje eerder inchecken. Verzoek leek niet serieus genomen te zijn. Periode tussen 10 en 16u leek ons toch ruim voldoende voor de enkele kamers, niet eens allen bezet, om op orde te krijgen.

It’s unfortunate that you don’t get crucial information until after you’ve booked and paid. They don’t do breakfast. Also, they say there could be a bit of noise and staff said ‘a bit of noise’ but if you book for a Friday or Saturday night, karaoke or live music means your room is shaking and vibrating and noise so loud you cannot even think of sleeping until 11.15pm. Fine if you’re up for joining in but really not ok to take the booking, the money and expect that will all be ok because you send an email afterwards.

Schöne Zimmer, teils sogar mit Meersicht! Das Pub war nicht laut zu hören im selben Haus. Wir fühlten uns sicher und wohl! Der Fossil Beach ist wirklich fantastisch! Vergisst den Hammer nicht! Oder kauft einen in einem Shop direkt vor dem Parkplatz beim Strand😜

Bei Glück hat es ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Wir mussten im ca 400m entfernten öffentlichen Platz parkieren.

A very good location about 1/2 mile walk up hill from centre of Lyme & 1/4 mile fairly level walk from Holmbush car park. Our room was small but comfortable, very clean & nicely furnished. Plenty power points! En-suite also immaculate. There is live music on Saturday evening which we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden. It finished at 11.30pm. The staff were all very friendly. A very enjoyable stay.

A Great sized double bedroom, decorated lovely, with an en-suite. Near to the Main Street of Lyme Regis and the beach, only about a 10 minute walk.

It was loud as we were above the pub, but knew this when booked. It was quiet from 11:30pm so not too bad.

Location and room are perfect, the balcony that I had with my room was stunning, the cleanest room I’ve been to in the region, super friendly and familiar vibe, good food in the pub.

It was easy to get to, and there was a key pad on a side door to let yourself in to safe going through the pub. The room was smallish, amazing view round the bay, spotlessly clean, with good quality towels & linen, a fully stocked tea tray and a fan. The shower room was lovely, spotless again, with good quality soaps

Nothing - they communicated that they would be showing football so we knew to expect a little more noise than usual, but the opening hours would stay the same. The beer garden was busy, its summer, but actually once the pub shut it was lovely and quiet.

Close to centre of Lyme Regis, friendly and value for money! All you need for a couple of days away.

The room was clean and well presented. There was a kettle with tea & coffee available. The shower room was clean and there was plenty of soap, shower gel & shampoo provided.

Check in was hurried (the bar was exceptionally busy) and the staircase up to the room was steep. Bar staff were a little curt but as I said it was busy. We needed to leave at 8am and there didn’t appear to be any staff on site. There was no key drop box and we had not been given any information regarding leaving so had to leave the key on the stairs which didn’t seem right.

The very steep hills to the accommodation and nearby car park and very loud in the evenings with the locals in this nice pub that is more suited to much younger travelers.

Lymne Regis ist ein sehr schönes Seebad. Die Terrasse des Pub ist gemütlich.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber/Wirt war schlecht. Wir wurden abends um 22:30 Uhr vom Rufen von anderen Gästen wach, die uns baten, sie ins Haus zu lassen. Sie kamen nicht ins Haus, weil der Pub geschlossen und niemand mehr da war. Außerdem wurde uns nicht gesagt, das es ausnahmsweise im Pub nichts zu essen gab. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir im Zentrum gegessen und uns nicht die steile Straße hochgekämpft, um in "unserem" Pub zu essen.

The attitude of the bar manager, the off the scale noise until midnight and the general condition of the bar and clientele meant we didn’t venture down there and we had drinks and food at the Marina hotel next door where we were treated very well. Impossible to get a park but to be fair it was made clear there was no parking, I found a park 3 kilometres away

If you are a solo traveller like myself- this place is perfect for a couple of nights stay. The room was a good size & the bathroom was small but at the end of the day, it met my requirements. The room did get hot but luckily a fan was provided in the room which made it better. The view was fantastic from the window also but overall it was good, the food on the 1st night was yummy! Recommend the scampi and chips

The room could use a few touch ups & the WiFi was iffy at times, the bathroom was tiny but if you are there on your own for a few nights its perfect for what you need.

Thin walls so kept awake by neighbours. Very poor water pressure for shower. Noisy pipes (old building so to be expected but again kept us awake). Not a problem for us but right at the top of the steep hill.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, inkl. Tee und Kaffee. Ein kleines Fenster in Bodennähe ermöglicht sogar den Blick aufs Meer, obwohl man im Dachgeschoss wohnt. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und hat auf den laufenden Pub-Betrieb hingewiesen, der aber trotz Fußballspiel kaum zu hören war und nicht gestört hat.

Great stay at a great price. The pub is a friendly locals pub, but the rooms above it make it feel like an excellent guest house/hotel. Perfectly clean and tidy, many details thought about including providing hot chocolate in the room! I stayed on a Friday night and heard very little sound from the pub which was a nice surprise. A great location just a few minutes (uphill of course!) from the beach and town centre. It's a lovely touch that they give you the option to come and go through a back door so you don't have to go through the pub if you would rather not.

Only thing is probably that when you first arrive at the pub itself you may not feel hugely welcome if you're not used to that environment. But everyone was perfectly friendly in reality and the staff were great.
