Was told by two staff members there was no smoking area at all, so didn’t stay based on that information. Booked another hotel but turns out there was a smoking area, but that information came too late!

The location and amenities were great. The included breakfast at Bramble was excellent. The service was friendly and professional. Taxis and tuktuks were all super easy to come to the location with the gated circular entrance. It had a really nice vibe.

The only reason I gave a less than perfect score for comfort is that one night we lost power due to a brown out and had no AC from 2am to 5 am and it was rough. I would have expected a back up generator. Also another reviewer mentioned something about rats outside the room, that terrified me and I was paranoid the entire time, but it was incredibly inaccurate and made me fearful for nothing. Our room was very clean with no inkling of vermin of any kind.

Property is clean and well maintained. It’s also a decent walk to Roxas Night Market.

Sadly, even though it’s known as the durian capital of the Philippines, during is not allowed in the rooms, which is not surprising however, I expected to see postings to warn guests. Lol - we were charged 1000 PHP for having durian.

I love the staff and the food.

The water and the towels are so stinky and the place is already run down.

Stayed there for almost a week, there are nights that people from the restaurants down stairs we're yelling at around 10pm. Not sound proof.

Overall i enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were big, bed was comfy and room was well equipped. The highlight tho was the in-house restaurants. Mamamita (mexican) was amazing and breakfast at The Bramble was excellent (attached a pix of the Eggs Benedict i had) . Both places were really gorgeous too. I didnt get to try the flagship Bourke & Bondi as there was a wedding there on the night i stayed.

I think the aircon is a little underpowered for a room that big so in a hot day this could be an issue. Also, for a property at this level, i think a bit of work could be done in terms of the finishing touches but this didnt really affect my stay in any way.

The elevator.. if your slow to get inside or outside elevator door closes so fast on you .

I didn't like the location, at first the internet wasnt working bit it was resolved by tue manager who was very professional and helpful. I jist think its a very nice hotel in a very not so nice area

The room safe was too small and not anchored properly which didn't make it very secure. Breakfast choices very limited eggs no fruit juice. Poached eggs undercooked.

Many thanks to all staff and Mr.Edwin for their high customer focus. We had a very nice time and also the cafe and the restaurant on the territory of the hotel were amazing. All food was so delicious and nice. Pavlova cake was just perfect. Staff's attitude and care made our staying very comfortable and unforgettable. We do recommend to visitors to dine at the restaurant and enjoy tasty meals.

シャワーが水圧弱過ぎて石鹸を洗い流すのにめちゃくちゃ時間かかる。 連れを残してチェックアウトした、その際にクレジット決済をした（ホテルの食事、エキストラベット代、その他利用し多分）上に朝ごはん代を200ペソ払って、連れは支払いないですね？と確認したにも関わらず連れがエキストラベット代を請求されて、ごはん代で相殺します800ペソ追加で払ってください。となった。 別で後1部屋親戚のために予約を入れていたが、チェックインが遅くなって夜中にチェックイン、その際クレジット決済をした。しかし翌日のチェックアウトの時に宿泊料を請求されて困ってると連絡があった。 支払いには明確にして欲しい、払ったのに払われてませんので払ってくださいと言われたらせっかくの旅行が台無しになってしまう。

Le petit-déjeuner éait parfait ! Hormis que les jus de fruits étaient en supplément à payer. Et qu'il y avait plusieurs types de petit-déjeuner. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est du haut niveau. Tout était bon bien présenté et le personnel est serviable et sympathique. La literie était au top. Le manager est sympathique et serrviable. Il suffit de lui demander quelque chose et cela est effectué.

Rénover la salle de bains. Changer le Carrelage et changer la porte cassée. Nos amis les cafards géants c'était un peu pénible dans la salle de bains...Aussi une ampoule qui ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre.

I liked the hotel from the moment the cab dropped me off in the hotel grounds. Set in a quiet nook with trees, the place has character. The room is big, well-furnished, has a powerful aircon, and is very clean (including the bathroom). I like the breakfasts that I had at the Bramble cafe & bakery. An upscale Australian-owned restaurant adds a touch of class. The hotel is easy to spot more than a block away because of the old trees that mark its presence--a green oasis in Poblacion!

Nothing. I just commented about one of their ledges (where you can put personal effects) not being level, but I am sure that can be easily fixed.

Location is a 10! It is very quiet. I slept like I was at home - an indication of how comfortable it was for me. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! I was with my senior parents, and they offered to have their breakfast served in their room so that they don't have to walk to the cafe. All of the staff are great. I am surprised I have not heard of this hotel before. We were supposed to stay at a family room, however, it was under renovation. They booked us to 2 rooms instead, at a much lower price. Customer service of this hotel is excellent!

This facility was/is exceptional, a refreshing cut from the usual hotels in the area. The quality of the rooms were felt the minute we entered. That "at home" feeling continued to be felt by us/my family throughout our stay. And the restaurant was superb, my complements to the chef for providing us with excellent gourmet breakfasts that came with the room. This was a great place to stay, safe and secure.

Our concern from the start, was the patio sliding glass door, that had an insecure locking mechanism on the outer slide. When brought to their attention, the staff told us new repair parts were ordered and told us staff walks our area to ensure security. Another concern was the hot water heater in the shower that we did not report until our checkout. Staff told us that a reset at the water source could have resolved this..no worries.

Family friendly hotel. Place is well secured and the staffs are amazing.

The breakfast included was the best breakfast ever. Top quality food and service worth at least 30% of the room cost or more. Highly recommend this properly

Wonderful hospitality and spacious rooms

The breakfast at Bramble is great, and the location is very convenient to the places that I needed to go to. The staff was also very friendly. The room is quite big compared to other hotel rooms.

The rain shower head in the bathroom seems clogged. It didn't affect me much because I mostly prefer to use the handheld shower. They also only accept cash payments at the front desk which was strange for a hotel.

The staff were really accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was superb.

The staff was great as well as the restaurant... incredible food. The location was good, although the GRAB Cab could never find the location for the hotel. You are close to the nigh market, church and parks in walking distance. We found some cute cafes that were not far from hotel. We used the hotel to drive to some of the waterfalls and Philippine Eagle center, so being central with parking was great.

The bathroom was small, and I wish they had wash cloths. Shower leaked on main bathroom floor.

What a great find! Definitely coming back to stay here for my next visit to Davao. From staff to breakfast, all great! I admire how young the chefs are yet the service and preparation for food is beyond! Overall, great staff, great food, and always feeling welcomed! Daghan Salamat!

Broken AC unit in room was handled horribly. No sleep. Whole trying to address the issue with front desk she barley looked up from writing us a bill for a bottle of water we consumed. Not planning on visiting again

The staff were very helpful. They were very sensitive to the needs of my son with food allergies. The room was a decent size. Location was smack in the middle of town. Central location for restaurants that were recommended to us. Also close to city attractions.

The bathroom could be bigger. The elevator and hallways need much renovation and maintenance. A facility or two could be added somehow for those that desire to stay in the hotel. There is no pool or gym. Food is also very expensive in the hotel.

Even though for one night was ideal for us to relax. Little things like sweets waiting in your room and the mentos near your bed. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were great

Great hotel just have to three problems the bed sheets itself where never changed even though i ordered housekeeping everyday i noticed the same hole on the sheets for multiple days also the bathroom had roaches in it and Wi-Fi was not the best but still worked most of the time

Room / bathroom dark and somehow run down with a view into a backyard. A/C 80er style, works but noisy. Reception announced renovation soon. Much more interestingly is the restaurant, which belongs to this Hotel. Very excellent western and filipino food. High recommendation for a city like Davao.

The family unit (306) was amazing. The staff were so kind to me(something that has been hard to come by), and they even have Netflix ready to go and deliver meals to the room when requested. I will probably come back again sometime.

I loved the room service delivered breakfast. I also really liked the little dessert plates with the poems after our room was serviced. Room decor and amenities looked modern. Netflix was a great addition.

The hot water in the shower hardly worked and the shower pressure was terrible; The shower water would splash all over inside the bathroom around the toilet and sink area due to its wet layout and half border shower wall. Soap scum on shower floor and wall. The carpet/rugs by the bed and under the seating area were light and loose and would easily slip. Price was a bit high for mediocre quality.

The room is filthy, old and managed poorly in terms of luxury.

Lovely place. A rare lovely retreat in the heart of the city. Fantastic restaurants attached… some of the best in the city. Staff and staff led services were bar none.

Parking is a challenge if you have a private vehicle.

The staff were friendly and ready to help though more training is needed to provide more professional services to the guests.

There ar some little problems like broken hair dryer and out of shampoo on the first day but the staff solves the problems soon.

The staff was amazing. The breakfast delicious! The location was perfect for the places we needed to be. We also travelled by car so it was great that there was parking inside the compound.

The room was too dark. The window was facing the corridor so we could not open the blinds fully. The bathroom had a musty smell and the low water pressure did not allow the use of hot water and the toilet after flushing would take a long time to fill up.

The bed is huge and very comfortable, and the service is fantastic. The food is very delicious from breakfast to dinner. I would love to go back there again. The hotel is in the heart of ciry close to the banks and the park.
