Room was super cute and everything felt clean
Ligegyldigt men god placering…
Because of no parking Space close to hôtel no possible to stop. Inside hôtel i don’t know we sent to the beach to sleep in the car! With two small kid wasn’t fantastic!
Super hôtel dont l’emplacement est parfait. À deux pas de la magnifique église. Chambre joliment décorée, propre. Personnel agréable.
Short, but beautiful stay at Lluna Aqua Soller. Loved how they had blended the art deco design with something now. Charming and nice, and just in the middle ove the town.
Hotel is located very close to the centre, shopping and restaurants. Loved the decor, breakfast, coffee was good and amazing staff. Also, we wanted to take the tram to Port, so hotel is like 7 minutes walking distance from the tram stop. The only issue was that our room didn’t have any doors to the bathroom/shower which is not giving any privacy when 2 people are staying together. Also, please be prepared to be looking for street parking or parking lots, we have to download app and be adding money, since it is allowing to pay only for 2 or 3 hours, it was a bit challenging to find parking since streets are very narrow, we visited in May, so could only imagine how it is during the busy season.
A lovely stay, the hotel was ideally situated in Soller, the hotel was nice and quirky, without trying too hard. Staff were helpful and attentive. Will stay again
Let’s start with the booking. total taken twice from my creditcard, took 2 weeks to refund, no apology. I emailed re parking as we had a hire car, no reply. There is no parking at the hotel, you need to use the very full municipal parking for €9.00 per day or park a 15 minute walk away on the edge of town. Do not try to drive to the hotel, roads are narrow and you need to understand the one way system. Generally , my top tip is to book a small car, to save stress on all those narrow hairpins. We arrived at the hotel 19.00 hrs, door closed with a sign explaining that you will receive a what’s app for the code, or there is a telephone number in case of problems. like other guests no what’s app, no answer to telephone. Another guest let me in, I called again, the phone was behind reception, but nobody else. An employee had been out jogging and returned an hour later to let us in, no apology or explanation. Rooms are a bad attempt at boutique hotel, some fancy wallpaper and industrial lamps. shower is good, tv in the corner on the wrong wall, light from next doors bathroom shining through the crack in the wall. Coffee machine no milk. Breakfast: Begin at 8.30, you will need to move your car from 9.00 am, also, the tram to Palma leaves at 9.00 am, so good luck with that. Soller is the Orange capital of Europe so juice out of the carton and no orange marmalade is inexcusable. Rolls heated from the freezer, limited choice in everything. Most hotels I stay in are around this price, rarely are they so full of promise without delivering. Luckily, Soller, its people and surroundings more than made up for things.
The hotel is one of life’s little gems . it’s beautiful and was wonderful to stay the rooms are all different and it is very comfortable, cannot fault anything the staff were very polite and nothing was to much trouble.directions and very helpful with bus and taxi services. I will definitely be visiting again 100 % breakfast was delicious and so fresh cannot fault in any way jannine
Beautiful hotel, great service and very comfortable bed. The bathroom could do with a little more privacy, but otherwise excellent. Very clean and well-managed. Just a very short distance away from a lovely square with good restaurants.
I am not able to put the video, the sheets had holes, the paint was peeling everywhere especially in the bathroom in addition to the mold, we were shown another room which was in the same condition, we left and the hotel did not want to reimburse us
My stay at the hotel was nice, the hotel is very authentic and everything original. Placed perfect, very close to Soller center. The breakfast could be improved, especially the coffe was poor quality. The bed was fantastisk, and the reseption very helpful. The hotel gets my best recommendation.
I can’t express how disappointed we both are with this hotel. The only positives are the staff & the location. We were in a double standard room with the wardrobe so close to the foot of the bed that we struggled to open the door wide enough to get decent access AND it smells of musty old clothes like a charity shop. The toilet is tucked behind the wardrobe with no door so no privacy. The room is on the top floor of the hotel, there’s no lift. The top two stairs are quite dangerous being on an immediate turn with limited access to the handrail. I’m 73 years old & partially sighted so it was especially difficult for me. No one to help with luggage. The breakfast was paltry, no bread, no toaster. It was a continental breakfast with the cheapest yoghurt. No kettle in the room, there was a coffee machine but no milk in the fridge, we had to ask for that. Tea & coffee making facilities are the norm these days but we were told we weren’t allowed to have a kettle, I couldn’t understand the reason why. Hairdryer broken but a replacement was put in the room however it was fairly useless with a weak stream of warm air from it. I dislike having to complain, I’m well travelled & have never had the need to complain before but this was an expensive hotel & apparently rated as 4 star- I really can’t see how! On the whole a big disappointment. Would never recommend nor return.
Absolutely amazing!!! Staff was wonderful, hotel has a great “home feeling” very central
Everyone quite accommodating & friendly
Somewhat quirky, but clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the centre of town. Only warning we would give is don't follow your Satnav to the hotel address, it's a narrow one way street with no parking/stopping. Instead use one of the car parks and then walk to the hotel, there are a few within 3 or 4 minutes walk.
Very nice quirky hotel in a in a lovely area, frendly staff. A few things could be improved like i was in a basement room which was fine as it was lovely but it had a strange smell as if they had put something to maybe cover a damp musky smell not unusual for Mallorca there is only a curtain separating the toilet from the bedroom, bedside tables would be good and the hallway to the room was on quite a steep incline and the flooring was a lino that was a bit slippy not good for me having just had a knee replacement and am still struggling with walking a flooring with some grip would be far better. Nice selection for breakfast.
This was my first time staying in Soller and I took a long time choosing my place to stay. I was certainly not disappointed with my choice. Toni, before I even arrived showed how professional they are by contacting me details on lock box etc. On arrival, I was greeted warmly and to my surprise was upgraded to a superior double. It was lovely. Little terrace, comfortable bed, pleasant room temperature and a wow bathroom. Breakfast was great too snd plenty of choice for me. Impressed with location too so will be revoking and bringing my husband next time. Thank you.
Man bekommt hier wirklich alles was man braucht.
Charming, traditional hotel full of character. Quirky room with a lovely terrace. Hotel is very close to the main square. Very quiet and relaxed stay. Staff are friendly and really helpful of all requests. We booked direct, great pre arrival communication. Thank you
Loved this hotel. It’s a beautiful update of a historic house. It was a joy to discovery all the fun elements of the building. From check-in, to breakfast and check out, this is a very relaxed experience and felt really authentic. This is not a modern, sleek hotel and I think this is why I really liked it - great to stay somewhere with history and personality. It was in a fantastic location, minutes from the main square. The street was quiet and a had a great nights sleep. A great spot and an amazing price!
This is a beautiful, small hotel with wonderful decor and situated centrally in one of the main streets of Soller. We had a lovely room , overlooking the “ pedestrian” street below, with its own small balcony and gorgeous bathroom. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh croissants from the bakery down the road and was self-service continental buffet. We met some lovely people while we were there and heard their travelling stories— lots of hikers visit Soller and the surrounding mountains. Toni on front desk was friendly and helpful and obviously proud of his quirky hotel. He had been very supportive over my anxieties about getting the code information for the self—service checkin., as I had never done this before. In the event, it was easy once we arrived ( having had the code by email the day before) We would go back and choose a room at the back of the hotel, away from the street noise , but we are light sleepers . A great hotel, in a very good location at brilliant prices, especially if booked direct via the website or phone . Thank you Toni.
We stayed here for 2 nights, late Jan. Weather not so good. The check in is as other people have said, kind of stange to have no one on reception after 2:30, when the official check in time is 15:00. Anyway we arrived early and the room was ready so all ok. We had room 121 which is a Junior suite with nice balcony. I would describe the hotel as "quirky", which is not a bad thing. They are after all described as "unusual Hotels" Few issues. No bathrobes, we checked on the web before we booked, but there were none. We asked the woman who was cleaning other rooms and she said they don't have them! There was no bottled water, there is a fridge, it is empty so its not in any way a mini-bar. There is a coffee maker, with nice coffe in pods, but no milk or creamer. These are all small, niggly things, but they do add up I think. Having read before some other reviews re the toilet and no door, I checked with the hotel that the suites have a separate door between the bedroom and the toilet, and they do! The room is fine, if a strange shape as they seem to have taken part of it behind the bed for the next room. Beds and pillows all very clean and nice, we had to ask them to secure the two beds together after the first night as they came apart. There is a very big TV, which bizarrely is at 90 degree angle to the bed, which makes no sense as there is a diagonal space in the corner next to the doors of the balcony. Also I only found 2 English channels, BBC World and Al-Jezira, there were dozens of German ones, maybe thats just supply and demand. The blackout curtains worked really well and we had two great sleeps, with no noise. I feel like am being a bit picky, but I never leave really bad reviews, I just will never go back. I'm not sure that is the case here. We live in Mallorca, just fancied a couple of days in a different part. The staff were all very nice and hepful, and as you can see its smack in the middle of Soller, eveything is literally on the doorstep. I had booked via Booking.com (which is the same basic company as Tripadvisor I think). What is supposed to happen, well I have used the site many times, is that I book online, confirm with my credit card. Then when you arrive at the hotel they ask for the card. This didn't happen, so, when we were leaving I asked do you need my Visa card and they said no its all been done already! Also I normally expect a receipt or bill, but not here. We didn't have breakfast but when we were about to leave it was raining and the manager gave us a coffee, which was nice. All in all, its a nice place to be, a bit more attention to detail and it would be great, especially the bathrobes in winter.
I övrigt väldigt bra läge!
I stayed at the Lluna Aqua Soller in September with a friend. I had already informed the hotel that we were not a couple and would like twin beds. We were placed in room 111, which, although it did indeed have 2 single beds, also had a clear glass wall and door through to the bathroom and only a flimsy see-through curtain behind, which was clearly unsuitable for any but a couple on very intimate terms. The hotel representative assured us that all the bathrooms in the hotel were similar, with some not even having a door between the bathroom and bedroom, which was in accordance with the owner's ‘vision’. In response to our protests, the hotel rigged up a solution with a shower curtain and blind, which was functional, though unlovely. The room itself was very small, dark and poky and looked out over the terrace of a room on the floor below. There was a miniscule balcony (which included a cubby hole with a disused stove of some sort). The room was overlooked itself by the upper seating area of the patisserie 2 doors down, although an attempt had been made to obscure this with a bamboo-type screen. Because of this, and despite already being dark and dingy, we kept the curtains closed for most of our stay. As far as I can see, there are absolutely no pictures of this room on the hotel website or any of the hotel booking websites. Interestingly, this is the only hotel that I have ever booked through booking.com where the full cost of the hotel stay has been debited from my card before I had even arrived, which was very inconvenient as my friend wished to pay her half of the cost in cash. I can only assume that this is because they have previously had guests walk out when presented with this accommodation. The overall air of neglect was underlined by the fact that the sheets, although clean, were un-ironed and wrinkled, the shampoo and body wash dispenser was empty (because it was broken, a fact which was apparently known to the management, but we nevertheless had to ask for this to be provided in bottles), a maximum of 2 coffee pods were provided each day, and we had to request the manager to ask the maid to mop the floor halfway through our stay as it had become very gritty and grimy. The only advantage of this room is that in being at the back of the hotel, it is much quieter than those overlooking the street to the front. Having said all the above, the hotel has a really good location near to the main square, the gentleman behind the desk in the morning (Tony?) was extremely kind and as helpful as possible, and the breakfast was very pleasant (although we were tiring of it by the end of our stay) Apparently a new management team has been in charge for the last couple of months, but I think they need to up their game if they are hoping to compete with similar hotels in the area. This is not currently a 4 star hotel.
The hotel is in a brilliant position and close to everything, the bus is about 10 minutes walk. I guess our only real issue with the hotel is that there’s no proper door for the toilet / bathroom which is a little odd. There’s only a curtain for privacy. Also, the tv didn’t work for the entire stay. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and the the two gentlemen who work there are lovely and we’re very helpful. I highly recommend the Ca’n Limonona pasta restaurant literally 30 seconds walk up the lane.
The room was different to the site that I’ve booked. The air conditioner was not working after one day. There’s no condition to stay there. My sheet was dirty and the Our room was seepage in the ceiling, the bathrooms are open, only separated by an old velvet curtain. I ask for twin beds and they are separate. There was no shampoo or soap. Decadent. I tried to speak to the person to change our room but was not possible. As there were no conditions to be in that place, we tried to talk to them and ask for a refund, since we would have to go to another hotel because they couldn't spend another night there, but it was not possible. We left very upset and had to pay for two hotels. Bad experience.
Hotel was quiet but in a great location near the main square. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Booked a 'junior suite' room for a few nights away recently. Very unclear from the website what the differences were, but we were hopeful for a nice room nevertheless. On arrival at the hotel, we realised the check in desk was not 24 hours (we arrived at approximately 1am). Despite notices on the external doors saying we would have received an email with details of how to enter, we had received no such email. We found a video online that showed the key code to the key box (??security) and then realised that after all that, the side door to the hotel remained open at all times (again, very poor security!). In order to find our room number, we had to go behind reception and read through their documents. When we advised the staff of this the next day, they did not seem bothered by it. The room was pleasant. No access to a locked safe was disappointing, no coffee capsules despite having a machine was also a bit confusing, Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was not great - there were long brown hairs all over the bathroom which even after we asked for an additional clean were still there. A small balcony was nice to sit on, but noise was a definite issue every morning with early morning bin lorries and mopeds on narrow streets. Comfy bed. Location of the hotel is excellent, right on the main shopping street and 30m to the main square. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. Parking was only available in the nearby pay&display, 6 euros a day which was reasonable.
We booked a junior suite, which all should have "spectacular views of the picturesque town of Sóller." Upon arrival, we got the smallest room in the house, with nothing but a cupboard as division between the bed and the toilet, and a clear view of a concrete wall across the narrow street. I contacted the manager, who was not even apologetic. "We are fully booked, so I will refund you 50 euros instead". I reminded her two days later when we checked out. "I shall take care of it today". Nothing up until now! My last email, saying it is not the money in itself that is important, - give it to some local charity - is still unanswered! It really does not matter if a hotel "holds the magic of Mallorcan tradition combined the most avant-garde design", if they so blatantly cheat on their customers. We may come back to Soller, we will NOT come back to LLuna Aqua hotel!
Not quite as nice as we had expected. Our room was pretty small and there was no real wall between the bedroom and the bathroom (just a transparent curtain in front of the toilet). The breakfast was very basic. The staff was not exactly overly motivated.
Muy lindo el hotel con excelente ubicación.
This is a wonderful hotel in the center of the village of Soller on the north coast of Mallorca. Very central but on a walking street with out traffic. The plaza of Soller is right next door with cafes restaurants and the antique wooden tram that goes to the fishing port of Soller.
We booked this hotel before the first lockdown, and paid £500 upfront. I have kept in contact with them every few months, to let them know of my replan. When the rules were finally relaxed, I booked my flights and contacted the hotel yet again. At this point, after messaging them a number of times to prompt a reply, they finally told me it was too late, and they would not honour it. So this hotel has kept my money, in return for no service in return. And if the hotel does reply to this message, asking me to contact them, I have attempted to, multiple times. I will leave it for you, the reader, to decide if you can trust this hotel.
Small cramped room , tired condition despite being fairly new. Poor or non existent service. we arrived and could not gain access to hotel. The telephone number on Hotels.com was for a service company that stopped dealing with hotel in April and when I called the mobile number on the front door to gain access to the key lock box the phone rang out 3 times whilst I called then the owner of the phone switched it off. They eventually answered hours later when I called again and mumbles some rubbish about having sent me the code. Breakfast was good apart from serving concentrated orange juice !......really in Spain and NOT real Orange juice, how much did they save for that mistake !!!!
Booked one night at 5pm for the day itself which is later than the norm i appreciate. I received an email confirmation immediately and then received two more emails asking what time i was aiming to arrive. I replied immediately stating 9pm. As we set off for the hotel i realised I hadn’t received a reply. Reading the comments on hotels.com i knew out of norm hours checkin was an issue. I frantically called the phone number in the confirmation email only to learn it was out of date. It was for another hotel which had disassociated itself from the hotel in April 2021. I was now driving through the mountains with little reception not knowing where my wife and child would be sleeping that night which was super stressful and very unnecessary. We arrived at the hotel at 930pm i called the emergency number listed on the front door 5 times and eventually got through to ‘remote reception’. Once I received the welcome instructions things improved but it was all so avoidable. Room 111 was quirky but quite nice. Breakfast was fresh and generous Location is amazing on just off the main square. Great if you are walking stressful if you have a car to park or unload. Be prepared to park at one of the two public car parks not difficult but just be prepared
The hotel cancelled our reservation due to flooding and rebooked us at a partner hotel last minute. The hotel was very nice and the staff was accommodating. The location was excellent, a few minutes from the port.
My partner and I were at this hotel last week, first impression not great as no one on reception after 14:30 so key obtained from key safe round the corner and room number advised via email with notice to check in the following morning. Our room was number 122 which I advise you avoid, apart from a great shower and comfortable beds the only separation between the toilet and the room is a see through net curtain so there is no privacy when you are on the throne, imagine a first holiday abroad with a new partner and you are faced with this bad enough for my lady and I who have been together a long time. Breakfast is €8 there's bread and pastries, a mixture of meats, cheese and fruit it was ok. Final day we had to leave just after 8am so just left the keys as once again reception was unmanned. Sorry this is so negative after they kindly transferred our booking due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The room did not match our expectations. It was in the basement, it was very damp and not at all as beautiful as in the images on the booking site.
A delightful little charmer nestled in the heart of Soller. You’re just a few strides away from the town square, but without hearing much of the action. The hotel building retains some characterful old features but with no shortage of modern twists. Everything, especially the utterly huge bathrooms, is perfectly modern and very well screwed together. Granted, you don’t get a pool, but who cares when a place oozes character like this?
Lluna Aqua is a comparable new place in downtown Sóller - just some 100 meters away from the main plaza. Along with this location, you're in the middle of everything coming with the advantage that everything (shops, cafes, restaurants) are literally just a couple meters away but that it is a rather busy place. Furthermore, as mentioned by other fellow travellers, a bakery is nearby and some commercial traffic for shops in the early morning as early as 6 am are a side effect. But besides of this a surprising quiet place at night offering comparably good sleep. Nice small lobby where breakfast is offered. Unfortunately no sundeck or garden access but more like a classical "city hotel". Breakfast is served on the table during Covid times and offers a good choice for the somehow limited Spanish standard (no eggs,...). (Deluxe) rooms are large and well equipped and come in a stylish design with some "unusual" features (like no bathroom door or surface mounted electricity. I found it a bit disturbing that the old historical building has been renovation at least in part disregarding original room layout or historic elements which would not be compatible with regulations for monument restauration in many countries. Very friendly and helpful employees. Be aware that during Covid the reception is only open in the morning times (but you can call the sister hotel in Palma 24/7 getting advice). But besides of this - a great choice for a city boutique hotel.
I liked the location and that they were dog friendly
Service, cleanliness, location, breakfast and price all excellent. Couldn't watch the TV as it was on the wall adjacent to the bed. Did not like the curtain separating the bedroom from the shower room.
Comfortable, contemporary rooms just footsteps away from shopping and restaurants in the main plaza of Soller
Really nice hotel with a great location right in the centre of Sóller. We went in January so a lot of the restaurants/bars were closed for the season but still had a nice time. The hotel has a lot of character and is really comfortable. Would definitely recommend
Sehr zentral gelegene Unterkunft.
Great hotel, new, clean, cool Spanish decor with very friendly hotel staff. Gave us great service during our stay, excellent recommendations, and helped us with some travel admin a week after our stay. Highly recommend!
As a solo female traveler, Lluna Aqua Hotel was a perfect fit for me. The hotel recently opened in an historic building in the center of town. The decor in the entrance is just stunning and my top-floor room was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was great. Catarina at the reception desk has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Other team members with whom I interacted were very pleasant, but need to be brought up to speed about the region. I would strongly recommend that management provides familiarity tours to them before they are put in a position to provide advice on the area. There are also a couple of repairs that need to be made (wallpaper ripped slightly in bathroom) and banister properly secured.
Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Soller. Staff were great, especially the Portuguese girl whose recommendations for restaurants and bars were fantastic. Clean and quiet rooms with a great shower. The only minor issue we found was the lack of storage space in the room and the bathroom. A few more shelves/cabinets would be helpful. Other than that, highly recommended!
This is a nice little hotel, only 14 rooms, formerly a town house and only renovated and opened as a hotel 3 months ago right in the heart of the town, situated in a narrow busy street with lots of shops and places to eat nearby. They have retained as many of the original features such as Mallorcan tiles, where possible. The room was clean and comfortable, the only downside being the bathroom was separated from the bedroom by only a curtain. The hotel kitchen is not open yet so breakfast was provided by the bakery next door and was tasty ( local pastries, pies, sandwiches etc) and plentiful. The hotel staff, especially Rebecca and Catrina, were very helpful and informative, recommending good places to eat nearby, providing info on buses and booking taxis and restaurants. The hotel is situated about 75 yards from the town square so is really convenient. Good value for money and a nice place to stay in this charming little town.
This is newly-opened boutique-style hotel and we liked the design although they are still dealing with snags. It's in the old town and very convenient for all it has to offer. Tip - Don't take a car or if you do don't use Google Maps because it will take you to a small dead end alley near the hotel which needs patience to get out of and then find a public parking space likely to be some distance from the hotel). Unfortunately it was irritating that we were only told on arrival that the kitchens hadn't been finished and there is no food offer despite their web site being excited about their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is provided in a neighbouring bakery and is enjoyable but we should have been told beforehand. The staff handled it very well and were very helpful and charming for our three days. We went on our first holiday abroad in Majorca in the late 1960s when the Spanish hotel industry was infamous for hotels not finished for arriving guests and misleading descriptions in brochures. This experience made us feel nostalgic.
When my girlfriend and I arrived our friendly host poured two glasses of quality Cava. A perfect way to welcome us to a great boutique hotel. We were upgraded to the top suite. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom and showers are open plan and have been done to a high standard. We enjoyed staying here and will come back again in the future. Etta special thanks to or amazingly helpful, friendly and warm host.
