We were grateful for the early check-in! Ryan was very helpful explaining everything. The lounge room was lovely, great coffee. The little accessories throughout the property are cute and it is generally clean and tidy.

The entrance to the property is overgrown, the trees over hanging the pathway which was a bit of a nightmare when raining! The stairs - those bits of carpet are a bit sketchy, especially the top one which is loose. The room itself is tiny, just enough room to move round the bed. The hot tap in the bathroom is broken and bursts out scalding hot water with no control. No chairs in the bedroom We were underwhelmed by breakfast - other reviews indicated to expect “exceptional breakfast” but we felt otherwise. Products were not the best of quality and inconsistent over our 2 days. We were a little underwhelmed!

Es gab sehr gutes abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, das auf Bestellung immer frisch zubereitet wurde. An den Abenden haben wir gerne die schön eingerichtete Gästelounge genutzt.

Zimmer und Bad waren sehr klein. Es gab so gut wie keine Möglichkeit, Kleidung etc. verstauen. Schlecht...wenn man mit Gepäck für 3 Wochen unterwegs ist. Ein paar Regalbretter im Zimmer und Haken im Bad würden die Situation erheblich verbessern.

Breakfast was really good, even the marmalade for the toast was so delicious. Room had a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with bearclaw tub; was a charming building but still equipped modernly to enable a relaxing stay.From the property it was easy to walk around the area, including the Wildcat trail which provided a nice time with nature (plants, animals, rivers, hills).

Tout était super, propreté, confort, localisation, accueil et équipement . Un petit plus pour la baignoire.

Rien tout était très bien. Il serait juste mieux d’avoir la liste des allergènes pour le petit déjeuner afin d’éviter d’éventuels déconvenues. Mais je n’ai pas eu de soucis et la dame était très à l’écoute de mon intolérance au lactose et a fait très attention . C’est un soucis pour les allergiques aux acariens ces moquettes mais dans cette chambre nous n’avons pas eu trop de soucis car les lieux sont bien entretenus

A suggestion: have a caddy/metal hanging basket in the shower, in which to place things like your own shampoo, razor, shaving gel. The breakfast was fantastic - great variety, high quality ingredients.

On the day of our arrival, the host’s internet connection went down, rendering them unable to check our details. We stood in the hallway for a very long time while the host made lengthy explanations. The onus of evidencing the booking was paid for was on us as guests which made us feel unwelcome and like our arrival was an inconvenience to the host. What they could have done is explain briefly, apologize and use positive language on how they’re going to resolve this. When we questioned the size of the room, the host again blamed external factors like the Booking.com’s system preventing them from changing the room description wording. All we wanted was reassurance we were given the correct room as per our booking, despite the issues they were having with their internet.

Hospitality is of the utmost importance for the owner. She was very welcoming and helpful, the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was made fresh.

Arrived later than expected and Moira greeted us with a smile and suggestions for dinner. She showed us to our well-appointed room upstairs. The room was lovely - just a nice size and the bathroom/shower was clean and up-to-date. The location was terrific - a short 5 min walk and we were at a terrific pub (one of a number to choose from) and enjoyed a good pint and food! Restful, quiet night then a really nice breakfast in the morning: rolled smoked salmon with avocado and poached egg, lovely coffee and other options available. All in all, a terrific stay!

We're a couple visiting the north of Scotland during the winter season. Moira's guest house is cozy, well-kept and elegant. She is kind, and happy to offer advices and tips! It's the best family-run B&B I've ever found.

La guest house est très cosy, avec un joli salon pour se reposer et une salle pour le petit déjeuner très mignonne. La chambre était assez grande et confortable. Il y avait une machine à café, une bouilloire, une sélection de thé et café, du lait et une petite friandise. La déco était chaleureuse avec un joli plaid en fausse fourrure. Il y avait une petite entrée privative avec un porte-manteau. La salle de bain était également très jolie. Le petit dejeuner était délicieux avec une sélection de starters et de plats chauds, les plats étaient joliment présentés. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte. Le lit était confortable (le matelas reste très mou mais c’est personnel à chacun). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Emplacement idéal pour visiter le Cairngorms NP et notamment le reindeer center.

Seul petit bémol : c’est une vieille maison pleine de charme donc forcément assez mal isolée au niveau du bruit. Notre hôte devait recevoir de la famille pendant notre séjour et nous avons été un peu dérangés par le bruit (enfants qui courent ?), notre chambre étant située au-dessus de la pièce de vie À titre de suggestion, un petit frigo et des verres pourraient être utiles ainsi qu’un rideau pour la baignoire lorsqu’on veut l’utiliser en douche Mais ce ne sont que des détails car sinon c’était parfait

First the location is amazing. The property is in a really cute village surrounded by nature in a quiet area. The property looks really nice like a countryside cottage. The decoration inside is really nice. The room was spacious enough and the bed confortable. The facilities are really clean and there is a nice living area with complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast area was really nice and the breakfast was outstanding. The host was really friendly.
