Beautiful, spotless and peaceful setting with well equipped rooms. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile for our children to make them happy. Our room was perfect for a family and had everything you needed. Swimming pool was a big hit and within tranquil gardens. Wish we could have stayed longer.

ma le stanze lasciano un po’ a desiderare.. ci è stata data una camera quadrupla nonostante eravamo una coppia.. avremmo preferito una stanza più ampia ma non divisa a metà perché l’altra stanza ovviamente non ci è servita a nulla.. preferivamo ci lasciassero quella prenotata la Dependance! ci hanno detto che ci davano una camera migliore ma non è stato affatto così.. comunque soggiorno okai.. ma per il prezzo non ne vale la pena.

Beautiful grounds and surroundings. The swimming pool was very nice and well maintained, although quite deep for kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean.

The room itself gave us mixed feelings. It seemed recently renovated, but the choice of colours, layout and overall interior design felt rather strange and not very attractive. This has nothing to do with cleanliness, which was excellent. We also missed modern TV options such as YouTube or Netflix. The pool area has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it is not child-friendly at all; with some thoughtful adjustments, they could make much more of this beautiful space.

This is a really beautiful property and the best part of it is the magnificent garden! So it is very well understandable that the locals use it for weddings. And we witnessed even two weddings while staying there. The breakfast was also very good. One of the best we have had in Italy.

Maybe only the noise of the weddings, but it was really a minor inconvenience. The room was also a bit smaller and darker than expected.

Das beste Hotel, in welchem wir bisher eingecheckt sind. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und helfen in jeder Situation, ob das Restaurant zu wählen oder Ausflüge zu organisieren…gerade Giuseppe ist uns in Erinnerung geblieben. Auch Pepe macht einen super Job! Es gibt kostenlose Shuttle Service zum Bahnhof, wie auch zum Parkplatz. Jeden Tag kostenfreies Wasser im Room Service. Beste Buchungszeit ist scheinbar im August, da in diesem Zeitraum keine Hochzeiten gefeiert werden. Das Restaurant ist etwas teuer, allerdings kann man sich sehr gut durch die neapolitanische Küche probieren.

Es gibt tatsächlich nichts zu nennen.

From start to finish we really enjoyed our stay here. From the staff and the warm welcome, very helpful and professional, the room was spacious and clean, the view of Vesuvio from our room was just wow!! Ercolano ruins are close by. Bed very comfy and different choices of pillows (perfect for my partner that suffers from neck pain) We dined at the restaurant and it was delicious (the warm home made bread.... yummy)The swimming pool was a little corner of tranquillity, went for an early swim before check out, water was perfect temperature and the lush green gardens were like a little oasis.

We understand the upkeeping of the grounds must cost an arm and a leg and they've done a great work of it. If we have to find some flaws, some little sections of the outer building (terrace side) can eventually do with a little touch up. But we did not mind at all.

The hotel and all of its staff were exceptional. It's a little piece of paradise, very peaceful and welcoming. The pool area is great to relax in after a day around the ruins at Ercolano. Having the shuttle bus to get into Ercolano was appreciated.

Although we had an email about weddings the noise at night The daytime weddings had no effect on the hotel and stay. The evening receptions were also minimal noise, however live singers and bands were very very loud All noise was finished by 11pm when we were there.

El hotel es realmente lindo y bien cuidado, rodeado de preciosos jardines. La habitación era muy cómoda, grande y limpia. El baño completisimo también. La piscina fue fundamental para sobrellevar los días de extremo calor de este verano y la atención ahí fue fantástica. El personal ultra amable y cordiales. Gianpiero, el barman, nos sugirió un restaurante espectacular para ir a comer y Pasquale nos alegró el desayuno. La gente de recepción de una amabilidad destacable.

I’ll San Cristoforo is a wonderful place to stay. We planned to visit Pompeii and explore Naples and it was the most wonderful choice and exceeded our expectations. All the staff were delightful. Walter assisted us with great hospitality.

Beautiful hotel- fabulous grounds- small - very comfortable, great pool. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff were kind and could not do enough for us the the complementary Taxi shuttle service to Ercolano Scavi station which was available daily was absolutely brilliant. The views of Mount Vesuvius are stunning and the access to other areas such as Naples Pompei Herculaneum Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast was just fantastic. This hotel is a popular wedding venue. We stayed in the annexe in a suite with our own terrace which was fantastic. However if you are going to be bothered by noise or music from a wedding you may not want to stay in this part of the hotel. It was not a problem for us.

I liked the pool facilities, the area around is very taken care of and nice. But there was a lot of noise with all the weddings going on so it wasn't as relaxing as I expected. The reception personnel were nice and service oriented.

The weddings, we spend two nights at the hotel and it was two different weddings. Which meant music until 1 o clock and fireworks every night at 12.. with drones flying around etc.. great place for wedding, not for a relaxing stay.

Toen we aankwamen kregen we gelijk een upgrade van onze kamer het werd een junior suite. Na het grote hek een mooie tuin met groot zwembad en heerlijke rust. Kortom heer genoten van deze mooie lokatie.

Tijdens het overheerlijke diner toch wat last gehad van de muziek die, voor de bruiloftsgasten werd gedraaid. lokatie om te eten was verder goed en heerlijk gegeten.

Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. My wife is coeliac and they were extremely accommodating for breakfast and at their line restaurant

It is impossible to commute to the hotel without a car . Train station is far, shuttle times are a few and end at 6pm. Neighborhood is not walkable. There are no taxi services available in the area to take you to the hotel from the station.

O pequeno almoço é péssimo, ingredientes fracos e a confecção nao é boa. O pequeno almoço não é nada compatível com o nível do hotel.

Das Hotel ist traumhaft schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Am Anfang hatten wir ein wenig Angst wegen den Bewertungen bezüglich den Hochzeiten, jedoch hat man von den Hochzeiten fast nichts mitbekommen. Wir haben es zwar gesehen, aber es war super getrennt.

Il personale alla reception è professionale e gentile sempre a disposizione... anche il taxi-driver Giuseppe che con lo shuttle accompagna i turisti per Ercolano le cui strade sono un pò strette... La stanza di tipo Deluxe grande e fantastica... alla mattina quando apri la finestra vedi il maestoso e imperioso il Vesuvio...

E' un hotel dove vengono fatti dei pranzi matrimoniali e qualcuno può essere troppo rumoroso.

An oasis of calm - lovely modern hotel, great facilities. The staff were all amazing, so kind and helpful. Especially all the gentlemen on the reception desk. Restaurant fantastic.

Couldn’t really walk anywhere but hotel free shuttle bus to the station fantastic. The hotel had warned us they were a wedding venue but weren’t noisy or late and finished on time. The lead sweeper and cleaning machine was noisy from 7am!

Sve je bilo izuzetno doček, smještaj, soba,, hrana. Ali posebna pohvala za osoblje. Nikada nisam bio u hotelu sa ovako ljubaznim osobljem. Svi su uvijek nasmijani, veseli , pomognu u najtežim situacijama, zaista sve pohvale. I želim im da ovako nastave.

We arrived at the hotel after a long drive from Tuscany and were looking for a place to stay that would allow us to continue our journey the next morning. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and the staff is very kind. The room is clean.

The team at Il San Christoforo were so wonderful and helpful. Especially Giuseppe on the front desk. Excellent breakfast, beautiful gardens, a real oasis. The pool is a lovely added extra too. A real treat. The free shuttle service down to Ercolano Station was such a bonus and makes it easy to visit Herculaneum, Vesuvius and access the frequent trains to Naples. Would recommend without hesitation. The Line restaurant is excellent.

Il San Cristoforo was a delightful surprise as we arrived from the Napoli airport. It is on the slopes and our balcony opened to Mt Vesuvio. Breakfast was served in its restaurant right in its large garden. Room is not fancy, but clean, spacious and practical. Hotel team helped ferry our luggage from guest carpark to hotel lobby by a golf cart. A convenient base to explore Herculaneum in the following morning before leaving for Amalfi.

We stayed in a small apartment with two bedrooms, very convenient for families. The rooms were nice, very clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, while we were resting from our trip they managed our reservation and took our luggage to the room. The venue itself is very beautiful and safe but the areas around did not look that safe - recommend moving around by car or taxi.

We only had a problem with the drainage in the bathroom which was clogged the day we arrived. The staff came and fixed it the same day but we already had the whole bathroom full with water.

Villa San Cristoforo ha superato le mie aspettative. Abbiamo preso tre camere e tutte erano spaziose, bellissime e curate nei minimi dettagli. In una camera per due persone avevamo addirittura due bagni, cosa davvero rara. Lo staff è sempre stato disponibile, professionale e molto gentile. Le camere erano impeccabili e ogni giorno venivano pulite con grande attenzione. La villa dal vivo è ancora più bella che in foto, con un giardino curatissimo e un’atmosfera elegante da vera location per cerimonie. La colazione è stata davvero di livello superiore: ogni mattina trovavamo brioche fresche, dolci fatti dalla cuoca presente in struttura, crostate, torte salate, verdure grigliate e un buffet ricco e curato, più simile a quello di una cerimonia che a una normale colazione d’albergo. Per me la posizione non era la priorità, cercavo una location di alto livello… e qui l’ho trovata. Consigliatissima. raramente do 10 a tutti i punti, ma questo merita. mi serviva per lavoro, avevi i miei clienti doveva fare bella figura.. Avevamo camere nella dependance ( non lo fatto le foto) direi che siamo riusciti in stile italiano.

L’unica piccola cosa meno comoda è che la struttura è molto grande e, per portare i bagagli, bisogna aspettare il personale con la golf cart. Essendo in tanti abbiamo dovuto fare due giri, quindi serve solo un po’ di pazienza. Nulla di grave, ma è l’unico aspetto che segnalo

Občutek miru in varnosti v urejenem parku, kjer stoji hotel. Pogled na Vezuv z okna v sobi. Prijaznost osebja na recepciji in v baru. Možnost shuttle storitve do železniške postaje Ercolano. Čistoča bazena.

Za zajtrk je bila sicer velika izbira, vendar so bila jajca in slanina hladni že ob začetku strežbe ob 7:30. Premalo sadja glede na to, da smo na jugu Italije. Natakarji so bili zavzeti, osebje v kuhinji pa ne.

Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen, großen Garten/Park. Parkplätze sind etwas vom Gebäude entfernt, aber man wird mit einem Golfcar geholt/gebracht. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück außerordentlich gut, mit allem was man so anbieten kann. Das Restaurant fürs Abendessen sehr außergewöhnlich, gut, und eher teurer - nichts für einen kleinen Snack am Abend. Es ist etwas vom Hauptgebäude entfernt, sodaß man von etwaigen Hochzeiten nicht gestört war. Auch das Frühstück wird dort eingenommen.

Es ist, wie schon andere Bewertungen sagen, eine Hochzeitslokation. Bei unserem Aufenthalt gab es an 2 Abenden eine Hochzeit. Wir fanden nicht, dass wir vom Personal an diesen Abend vernachlässigt worden wären. Einzig die laute Musik, der man im Bar- und Rezeptionsbereich ausgesetzt war, war etwas störend. Eine kleine Beanstandung am Rand: unsere Dusche war extrem undicht...

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, tolle Auswahl. Sehr gut . Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ,

Das Bett hat geknarzt und es war ein bisschen zu kurz . Am Pool gab es keine Handtücher und keine Auflagen .das fand ich ziemlich schade .

Location was not the best. We had no car so walking was a problem.

The hotel is stunning, the grounds are immaculate, and the views from the rooms are really incredible. It was an incredibly relaxing place to stay, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were really lovely to us and the kids. Can't recomment enough.

It certainly wasn't a major issue, as the grounds are sufficient to ramble around. But heading to the nearby shops require crossing quite a busy road. I don't think its major, but worth noting.
