Right on the beach

Perhaps it was just because of monsoon season but they seemed understaffed and it took a long time to get food at the restaurant if there were more than 3 groups there.

Staff was amazing. Location is perfect. Food was delicious. The rooms were a good size. Easy to book boat tours. We had a blast!

A/C automatically cuts on/off when the door is opened/closed making it take longer to cool down the room. Not a huge downfall, but it might be bothersome for some people if they're not accustomed to warm climates.

The location and the beach & sea view are just absolute bliss. When you dream of a peaceful, idyllic beach view, this is it! The staff were lovely, the food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was all super yummy - the best we ate on the island - but some travellers might want a more modern, superbly kept accommodation. Our party loved the place though - a perfect place to switch off.

We loved it all but with a brand new complex being built next door, Sol Beach may need some TLC in order to keep up and keep up the wow factor.

Bungalow a primera linea del mar. Vam fer excursions que ens van oferir des de l'hotel. El director de l'hotel va comprar peix fresc a un pescador davant meu i vaig triar el que volia per dinar. Boníssim. La illa es idílica tot i que no hi ha carreteres O serveis.

No és un hotel de 4 estrelles, diria que dues. Els lavabos de la recepció/restaurant no són d'hotel. L'esmorzar era justet. La ubicació a primera linea de platja, però lluny dels hotels O restaurants oberts. Quedava molt lluny i solitari per tornar de nit a l'hotel. Feia por. Ens van venir a buscar al Moll en una barqueta, plovia/diluviava. Van posar un plàstic a les maletes, però no va ser gens còmode. L'aigua del mar no era néta. Tots els desaigües dels hotels hi anaven a parar, no sé si eren sigues grises, pero era aigua marró.

Nice beach huts in a good location

A few tweaks could have made it a great stay. No kettle in the room and a couple of maintenance issues with the accommodation. Staff friendly but could have offered more information to help our trip run smoothly.

Jammer dat er geen zwembad was. Zee is heel lang ondiep dus ook erg warm en daardoor niet uitnodigend om te zwemmen.

L’emplacement en bord de mer, difficile de faire plus près

Rapport qualité prix très mauvais (d’ailleurs en last minute, les chambres étaient 3 fois moins chères) : - chambres mal nettoyées - petit déjeuner vraiment pas bon (jus de fruit concentré, et plats à la limite de mangeable) - équipements vétustes (transat troués et rouillés, Clim bruyante, literie fatiguée..) - petits détails qui dérangent quand on a payé ce prix là : le personnel ne débarrasse pas les verres sur la plage, ils peuvent y rester pendant 3 jours - restaurant de l’hôtel moins bon et bien plus cher qu’ailleurs sur l’île - les excursions organisées sont beaucoup plus chères qu’ailleurs Ils prennent les touristes pour des imbeciles et essayent de bénéficier d’un tarif « luxe » avec une qualité de service qui ne suit pas

Good location and well maintained area. Beach was clean and everything worked just fine.

Die Lage des Resorts ist prima.

Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Resort ist soweit ok, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Sonnenschirm nur noch Drahtgestell, dreckige Sonnenliegen und versiffte Hängematten. Im Bad funktionierte die Handbrause der Badewanne nicht. Ich habe den Duschkopf abgeschraubt. Nachts ein anhaltendes Brummen (Generator?). AC grenzwertig. Und wichtig : das Badezimmer hat keine Decke. Was immer sie im Bad erledigen, ist im Wohnbereich deutlich hörbar. Personal freundlich. Wir würden hier nicht nochmals buchen.

I cannot rate this place highly enough, the staff were friendly and helpful, I was allowed a late check out and an early check in at no extra cost, the food was great, the accommodation was fantastic, I did in fact possibly have one of the best days of my life on a boat excursion that they organised for me and my girlfriend. Absolutely superb.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war ein großartiges Erlebnis. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Lage des Hotels sowie die wunderschöne Natur und die Strände der Insel haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem der schönsten Momente unserer Reise nach Kambodscha gemacht. Insbesondere unser Bungalow, der direkt am Strand (Saracen Bay) lag, war hinsichtlich Ausstattung, Aussicht und Lage einfach wunderbar. Von dort aus direkt ins Meer zu springen oder die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus zu genießen, hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Step out of the bungalow onto the beach! Great a/c , very good food and not far to walk to other bars and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Sol Beach Resort. We stayed 2 nights in the Tree Villa (second row) and then 3 nights in the Ocean Front Villa. The view from the Ocean Front Villa was absolutely amazing. What really made our stay memorable was the staff — everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island atmosphere.

The resort and villas are a little worn in places, but everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

Beautiful accommodation and staff super nice. Good selection at breakfast and a nice lunch and dinner menu. Something for everyone.

Ras, tout etait une invitation à la farniente

Sicuramente il cibo e la colazione sono ok, rispetto a tanti altri ristoranti sull'isola è uno dei migliori. Il luogo è carino. I Bungalow non sono male ma sarebbero da rinnovare.completamente, sono troppo spenti.

La pulizia non sono proprio capaci a farla abbiamo chiesto di rifare il letto e pulire la camera una volta ma il bagno non l'hanno toccato. Provvedere con qualcosa contro le zanzare. Fare qualcosa con i bagni, li hanno rinnovati ma male l'acqua della doccia se non si fa attenzione fuoriesce per il bagno e bisogna prendere una barca per navigarci. Da pulire la spiaggia, pochi hotel solo quelli da 5 stelle lo fanno, ma bisognerebbe farlo su tutte le spiagge in Cambogia, c'è un sacco di immondizia. Bisognerebbe forse far anche un corso per queste persone che ci vivono. Attenzione al dettaglio che in tanti hotel in Cambogia manca. Per me il 6 complessivo è sufficiente ma non per più di 3 notti.

L'emplacement. La vue sur la plage de sable blanc. L'accueil et le personnel très gentil et discret. La nourriture du restaurant est délicieuse.

La vétusté des équipements, et la propreté tout juste passable. C'est sûrement la fin de la saison. C'est selon moi un peu cher pour le niveau de service et d'équipement.

Die Anlage ist direkt am Strand, an einem ruhigen und sauberen Teil des Strandes. Die nächsten Restaurants am Strand sind aber zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Die Villas am Strand sind komfortabel und bieten einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer an. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant waren frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker.

The people were great, the place was not clean and uncomfortable.

It is not and not enough AC

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Fhe bed were comfortable and it was great that we could.use the kayak and paddle boards for free.

The breakfast was too small/ limited. The room on the mezzanine was a little too hot. The bathtub was very small and was damaged in areas. It was expensive for so few facilities.

Tout simplement paradisiaque...petite maison en bois sur la plage avec vue sur la mer, balcon, transat...une vraie carte postale. Séjour de rêve.

Beautiful property, exceptional staff on a beautiful island that is going to change when people start realising what a gem it is. If you want peace and tranquility with a touch of paradise then this is the island and Sol resort is the jewel hidden in the trees, straight onto the beach what a find.

Me anularon el vuelo y tuve que irme un dia antes. Avisé una semana antes y el hotel no hizo nada por rembolsarme a pesar de today’s las llamadas, mails y avisos de Boooking. A día de hoy sigo sin haber sido reembolsad.

Ubicacion en zona tranquila, enfrente la playa, cabañas grandes, restaurante donde se come muy bien. Te recogen a la llegada y al vuelta desde el pier. Buen desayuno incluido. Disposicion de agua diaria, excursiones,....

Hace falta una nevera pequeña en la habitación, por lo demás todo correcto

Absolutely wonderful place, villas looking out to the water were heaven. Staff are beyond terrrific, going out of their way to help with anything. Having walked the length of the beach a couple of times (and having been to the island a couple of times before), we were convinced this was the ideal combination of quality, privacy, and authenticity. Breakfasts were wonderful, and we ate several meals at the restaurant and they were all excellent. Highly recommended.

Don't expect luxury hotel-style - it's a villa right on the beach so there are mosquitos, the occasional gecko, and sand will get in. But that's sort of perfection for this sort of stay, so take that as par for the course, and enjoy paradise!

We popped for the ocean front cabins and had an unobstructed view from our lounge chair and hammock. The room and bathroom were very large ,the bed was comfortable and the air con was essential. The resort is also on a quieter section of the beach as just to the north is more of a night party section. It's also mid beach making exploring for dinner easier. That said, the food here was very good and the included breakfasts filling. Most of Cambodia is covered in garbage including the ocean, but for whatever reason, the beaches her were very clean. The staff here are very helpful and made sure we had a great stay

I'm not sure why, but using credit cards on the islands is not possible or subject to a sizeable fee. Bring lots of cash

La chambre familiale mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Sombre et humide. Des travaux à côté de l’hôtel mais cela ne nous a pas trop gênés.

Ik sliep in hutje met zeezicht. Prachtig om zo wakker te worden. Zeer proper. Zeer aangenaam ontvangst door vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt met zicht op zee.

We kwamen veel eerder dan de incheck tijd. Werden opgehaald met een kleine boot en we moesten door het water naar het strand. Koffers werden netjes vanaf de boot naar ons huisje gebracht. Kregen bij ontvangst een ontspannen schouder nek massage. Heerlijk relaxed begin van de laatste dagen van onze vakantie. Strand en zee voor de deur. Uitzicht vanuit je bed kijkend naar het strand.

WiFi was niet altijd perfect.

Si vous recherchez la déconnexion, cet hôtel est fait pour vous ! J’ai apprécié cet endroit, sa vue et son calme. Le personnel chaleureux rend l’ambiance très familiale. La chambre était parfaite.

C’était un peu bruyant le matin à cause des scooters.

Everything but the staff were absolutely amazing. Good food and drinks, comfortable beds and rooms on a beautiful beach.

To be able to step from your cabana directly onto the sand and be 10 paces from the warm ocean is extraordinary. The care of the staff and the whole laid back environment is something you need to understand (or learn) about yourself. It is isolated, beautiful, peaceful and gives you time to relax in a busy life. One week recommended to get it. If you need it the internet is adequate. Bring books to satiate your mind. No roads, no challenges, only what you can make of it yourself. Nowhere to go. Couple of bars and restaurants to fill in your evenings. Beach bbq is awesome 400m away along the beach. If you seek peace this is your place.

Not a don’t like. Just an obvious recommendation. Don’t eat anything that you would eat in Europe. Forget bacon and eggs (seems obvious). Go straight to the Cambodian menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When in Cambodia go local. Duh!

Loved the location, directly in front of the beach and water. Hotel staff arranged great bio luminescence tour for us. The whole experience was very memorable.

Die Bungalows sind sehr schön und die Lage direkt am Strand ist unschlagbar. Morgens macht man die Augen auf und schaut direkt aufs Meer. Was braucht man mehr? Das Frühstück ist auch sehr lecker und Personal äußerst freundlich.

Neben dem Resort befindet sich eine große Baustelle. Derzeit wird ein Gebäude direkt neben dem Restaurant von Sol Beach errichtet. An einem Nachmittag war der Lärm so störend, dass wir uns auf den Lazy Beach flüchten mussten.

C’était super! nous avons adoré notre séjour

Wij hadden de treevilla op de 2e rij. Het ziet er leuk uit, lekker aan het strand (zoals alle resorts op saraccen bay). De douches waren erg goed, er kwam een goede straal uit. Personeel was erg aardig.

Heel eerlijk is het de 4 sterren en de hoge prijs niet waard. De bungalows zijn echt verouderd en zeer aan renovatie toe. De badkamer is prima, maar her en der vies en beschimmeld. Aan de baai zijn betere resorts waar je minder geld aan betaal. Het water voor Sol Beach is ook niet het aller lekkers om in te zwemmen. Naast het resort zijn ze aan het bouwen, waardoor je dus geluidsoverlast kunt hebben. Ook is het er niet heel levendig, je moet een stuk lopen voor wat meer leven. Wifi was niet goed.

Il condizionatore non si poteva regolare. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata e un po di manutenzione.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Wunderbare Lage. Frühstück mit Menu Auswahl und nicht Buffet war ungewohnt. Die Speisen besonders die asiatischen sind sehr gut und man kann mehrere Speisen auswählen. Das Flair in der Anlage und auf der Insel ist genial chillig. Gerne wieder.

This peaceful resort by the sea offered the perfect vacation. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast, and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no hairdryer in the room.

Big thanks to the team for their kindness and professionalism , especially Bong Von that will always do anything for you to have a great stay. Also breakfast food and drinks were very good. I highly recommend this hotel. Already visited twice.

Déçue que l’extra bed soit facturé 25 euros en plus par nuit alors que j’avais demandé en amont de le mettre et que je n’ai jamais eu de réponse

L’établissement est très bien placé au bord d’une plage très calme et magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est tout à fait correct avec un choix plutôt varié et des produits de bonne qualité.

L’établissement est vétuste et ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. Les bungalow sont usagés et vieillots. Cet hôtel a probablement été très bien autrefois mais n’a pas été entretenu.

Tout ! L'hôtel est idéalement construit en bungalows et matériaux qui ne dénature pas l'environnement. Quel plaisir d'avoir son logement directement sur la plage, plage devant l'hotel qui est vraiment sublime, avec paddle et bouées enfant à disposition. Possibilité de faire des massages à environ 25usd l'heure. Mention spéciale pour l'équipe de l'hôtel qui est vraiment excellente, toujours aux petits soins et vraiment professionnelle que ce soit la réception, les masseuses, vraiment toute l'équipe ! Le restaurant est vraiment très bon, nous n'avons même pas ressenti le besoin d'aller ailleurs tellement tous les plats étaient délicieux , merci au chef cuisiner ! Et enfin merci à Non qui nous a servi pendant tout notre séjour avec efficacité et professionnalisme malgré nos commandes familiales un peu compliqué. Large choix au petit déjeuner que ce soit local ou occidental ! En conclusion nous avons été conquis par l'hôtel !!

Es liegt direkt am Strand. Perfekt fürs Schwimmen und Baden. Das Zimmer hatte sogar eine Badewanne! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam: Transfer zum Hotel und Rückseite waren super organisiert, sollte man nur sie im voraus informieren, was per WhatsApp möglich ist.

Das Frühstück ist eher bescheiden. Wenn man das Fenster abends auf macht, gibt es Mücken.

Villa z widokiem na morze i wyjście na plażę była idealna. Czysta, zadbana, codziennie dokładnie sprzątana. Śniadanie europejskio- khmerskie i to lokalne było bardzo smaczne . Pyszna kawa. Pomocny i przyjazna obsługa. Spokój i cisza bo plaża oddalona od głównej części plaży. Idealne miejsce na wypoczynek.

- la plage de l'établissement, magnifique même si parfois parsemée de déchets - mise à disposition de paddle, kayak, masques etc - petit déjeuner à la carte, illimité - ménage à la demande - l'hôtel envoie un bateau à l'arrivée du ferry - nous avions la grande maison : beaucoup d'espaces, 2 SDB, une machine à laver....

... Malheureusement, plusieurs choses ne vont pas, au regard du prix. - les éléments qui peuvent être extérieurs à l'hôtel : internet très mauvais et absence d'eau chaude pendant des jours entiers - les éléments qui relèvent du manque d'entretien : la maison n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée (à l'exception des SDB). Tiroirs sales (de la nourriture à l'intérieur !), sale derrière les portes ou les lits... - le bouchon de la baignoire ne fonctionne pas, elle se vide très rapidement - c'est une maison avec une cuisine. Et il n'y a rien pour cuisiner! Il a fallu réclamer pour avoir une casserole, des assiettes...

Good for relaxation, but not so much activities around the island

Petit déjeuner très bien. Les équipements de plage sont disponibles et gratuitement à la réception. Il est idéalement situé pour aller vers Lazy Beach et Sunset beach à pied. Bonne localisation aussi depuis le ponton d'arrivée et au calme par rapport aux autres resorts La vue depuis le bungalow sur la mer est magnifique et la terrasse parfaite pour se poser.

Attention ce n'est pas un 4 étoiles mais peut être un 3. L'eau de la douche ne s'évacue pas naturellement. Elle stagne car il y a un creux à l'autre bout. Tringle à rideau trop court, résultat il tombe quand on veut le fermer. La moustiquaire est beaucoup trop petite par rapport à la taille du lit, résultat elle vous tombe dessus pendant la nuit. Personnel assez peu souriant (sauf exception) comparé au reste du pays. La communication avant l'arrivée est inexistante, j'ai tenté de leur indiquer l'heure d'arrivée et surtout posé des questions sur l'hôtel et leurs prestations mais AUCUNE réponse. Malgré plusieurs relances par whats app, mail et sms... Le hamac devant notre bungalow était cassé.

Hébergement directement sur la plage ! Très bon petit déjeuner. Propreté impeccable

Excursion en bateau à 80 $ organisée via l'hôtel est qui est une vraie arnaque ... on trouve la même chose à 18 $ à 300 mètres !
