Fantastic couple of nights at Sara. Thank to all the friendly staff that made it special. Nice room, close to the action. But still very relaxing vibe throughout

The hotel, rooms and the pools are really nice and clean. However, the staff is extremely rude, unprofessional, and they see you as a wallet and the food is very basic.

Bom lugar, em frente a praia, você é excepcionado direto no pir por um uma pessoa do próprio hotel com trator. Talvez você tiver dificuldade de mobilização é importante avisar antes para possivelmente eles se prepararem dado que tem que descer escadas de subir no trator, na carrocinha.

A pessoa da recepção é ok. A internet funcionou propriamente somente no salao de convivência. Uma sugestão é nao ficar repetindo a mesma musica no saguão. Estive usando o espaço pra trabalhar mas ficou repetindo uma música feita por AI diversas vezes. No mais tudo certo. Vale a pena.

Er was een beetje bloed op de lakens en nog wat anders zeiden ze. Wat geen idee. En moest 200 us dollar er voor betalen. Kunnen ze niet wassen zeiden ze. Zijn de lakens van goud of zo echt belachelijk. Daarom ook geen tip gegeven aan niemand. Ga het ook vertellen op de social media ga daar niet heen.

Pretty resort with lovely walkways lined with flowers. Nice room, great pool! Food was fantastic (beach BBQ a must) and helpful staff.

We stayed there for 4 nights. Everything was absolutely perfect ! The staff there always made sure we had everything we need. They help you to book whatever you need to (ferry, activity ..) The breakfast is so yum and you can enjoy it your feet on the sand .. They also provide kayaks if you’d like to.

Wonderful - surpassed my expectations. A big thanks to all the staff who made me feel welcome and helped me celebrate my birthday!

Il manque un buffet au petit déjeuner, un frigo et une bouilloire dans la chambre. La playlist musicale est à changer .

Wir wurden sehr gut empfangen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel über Booking.com verlief ohne Probleme. Das Frühstück war für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Es wurden 10 oder 11 Auswahlmöglichkeiten angeboten entweder mit einem Gratiskaffee- oder Saft dazu. Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam und höflich gewesen. Am Wochenende gab es ein sehr gutes Grill-BBQ und eine Feuershow direkt am Strand, dass wir von unserem Essbereich sehr gut beobachten konnten.

Man merkt dem Hotel leider etwas an, dass es den Witterungsbedingungen am Meer immer ausgesetzt ist. An vielen Stellen konnte man dem Holz ansehen, dass es bereits ziemlich morsch und zum Teil gebrochen war. Jedoch waren die Beschädigungen nicht so erheblich gewesen, dass eine Gefahr davon ausging, wenn man darauf tritt. Auch die Sitzkissen für die Außenbestuhlung wiesen bereits sichtbare Flecken auf. Entweder durch das Wetter oder durch die zahlreichen Gäste, die verschwitzt oder durchnässt Platz darauf genommen haben. Benutztes Geschirr wurde relativ spät abgeräumt (nach ca. 30 Minuten), obwohl die Mitarbeiter sichtbar nicht mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt waren. Trotz der kleineren Mängel waren wir mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden gewesen.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay long due to bad planning on our part, but we wished we could and hope to come back at some point for longer. Everything was perfect!

Booked this resort for a break from backpacking. Couldn’t recommend more, so relaxing, rooms so clean and cozy. Pool cabanas are so comfortable with fans and poolside service. Great restaurant and friendly staff.

Well maintained, pretty resort with a great view. I loved chilling by the pool with a drink (table service). Big menu in the resturant with good options. The room was good for me.

This was our first time on the Island and loved it - with a stay at Sara making it extra special. The staff were wonder as was the food. Perfect spot by the beach with a great pool.

Absolutely loved the location and the staff were super friendly. The food was excellent with a good variety of both western and Khmer food. Pool was good and the evening BBQ delicious and well worth trying.

Bungalow was extremely small with a really poor hot water service. The bed was in really poor condition and for me, the resort had backpacker vibes. Ultimately I changed resorts due to the bedding and shower, but premise this by saying the staff did offer another room.

Normalerweise übernachten wir in günstigeren Unterkünften, aber haben ins hier ein paar Tage mal etwas gegönnt. Und das hat sich gelohnt! Wir konnten sehr entspannen im Sara Resort und auf der Insel! Super Service, tolles und ausreichendes Frühstück: man kann zwischen verschiedenen Gerichten (u.a. english breakfast, khmer breaktfast, Müsli mit Obst und hausgemachtem Joghurt, süße und deftige Optionen,... jeweils plus Saft oder Tee/Kaffee) entscheiden, Feuershow, riesiger sauberer Pool, freundliches Personal, kostenloser Kaya Verleih, super leckere Mocktails, Transfer vom Pier Es gibt 7 tolle "Poolbetten" zum chillen am Pool, die leider schnell für den ganzen Tag belegt sind (es gibt natürlich noch genügend Liegen). Unabhängig vom Resort: entdeckt die vielen "lost places" am Strand (resorts, die nach Corona oder wegen der steigenden Diesel Preise geschlossen haben), geht an einem dunklen Strandabschnitt schwimmen, um Leuchtplankton zu sehen, geht zum Wasserfall, esst auch mal bei den anderen Restaurants, die wirklich wirtschaftlich zu kämpfen haben,...

- Unser Zimmer hat leider echt unangenehm und feucht gerochen. Trotz Fensters war ein Lüften nicht möglich, da es vor unserem bungalow super viele Mücken gab (hier wäre ein Mückennetz am Fenster sinnvoll gewesen!) - Hängematten wären noch super gewesen - am Strand, Pool oder Bungalow! - leider hat der Angestellte, der uns am ersten Tag abgeholt hat, ständig seine Zigarettenkippen in das Meer geworfen...

Plage magnifique, belle situation sur l’île, accueil chaleureux, personnel disponible, restaurant de qualité, espace autour de la piscine très confortable avec des canapés “ individualisés “ , possibilité d’être servi au bord de la piscine qui donne directement sur la plage. Kayak à disposition:-). Je recommande!

No hay servicio lavandería, muy estrictos con la limpieza, pudiendo haber penalizaciones por accidentes, nosotros tuvimos uno, aunque finalmente no nos cobraron.

Beautiful location. We had one of the two family rooms which looked straight out on the beach which was gorgeous. The pool was great although I had a lose rusty nail cut my foot when I was walking round the lower end of the pool without shoes on as we were swimming. The weather in rainy season was predictably rainy but we chanced a fantastic six hour boat trip and had a wonderful snorkelling experience despite the poor visibility. So many fish and so much coral! Line fishing was fun but the M’Pai village was very run down and the poverty was sad to see. Swimming with bioluminescent plankton after dark was magical. The quad bike tour felt rather dangerous in wet season and ended up being very expensive but fuel is very expensive on the island and we all had such a memorable experience. The restaurant was great and the staff were very helpful.

A lot of the scuba diving and tours weren’t available in rainy season. Two of us cut ourselves on exposed wires leading to the second engine of the traditional fishing boat on our day tour when we were going to the heads (bathroom area). Our guide knew what he was doing but didn’t speak any English at all. The English speaking local business owner doesn’t usually come on the tours but did supervise us on the quad bikes which was great as it felt pretty dangerous. We were totally shocked when one of us accidentally dropped our fishing line in the water and we could’ve jumped in to get it if we had any idea that the boat captain would just let it go - so contrary to marine conservation ethics that any of us westerners believe in. The beaches weren’t super clean and the rubbish dumps secreted round the island were really disappointing if the island wants to encourage tourism to bring much needed investment.

Good hotel will book a deluxe room next time instead of budget, though. Breakfast was nice off the menu. Food in the restaurant was excellent .Staff all very nice.

Emplacement parfait prêt du ponton et des restaurants situé sur une belle plage. Possibilité de faire du Kayak mis à disposition par l'hôtel. Présence de matelas familiales aux abords de la piscine avec des ventilateurs. La douchette devant chaque chambre pour se rincer les pieds.

L'hébergement pratique des prix excessifs par rapport à la qualité proposée pour l'ensemble des prestations (hébergement, restauration, boissons..)

Wonderful staff, always welcoming, always smiling. Went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and gave great advice. Charl and Vibol were exceptional!

I love to write a good review when a a place truly deserves it, and Sara Resort absolutely does. Even before we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive. They contacted us in advance to provide clear information about the safest way to reach the island and the resort. Upon arrival, they even offered complimentary transportation from the pier, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The resort itself is absolutely charming. Every area is spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything smells fresh and clean. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The swimming pool is simply amazing—crystal clear, perfectly maintained, and a wonderful place to relax after spending time on the beach. The restaurant deserves special recognition. The service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. We tried many different dishes from the menu, and every single one was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. The Three Cheese Pizza deserves a special mention—it is honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had in Cambodia. The beach is stunning, with soft sand, crystal-clear water, and countless opportunities to take unforgettable photos. Walking along the beach is an experience in itself, as you'll discover several beautiful resorts, restaurants, beach bars, and diving schools, creating a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. During our four-day stay, we experienced what has become one of the best beach vacations of my life. I have been fortunate enough to stay at five-star resorts in the Dominican Republic and Cancún, and I can honestly say that this lovely four-star resort stands proudly alongside those experiences. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, outstanding food, and genuine hospitality makes Sara Resort truly special

While it wasn't so bad at the resort itself, once the mosquitoes finished feeding on my legs, they began to feed on my soul.

Sara Resort is beachfront, has a fantastic pool area, great food and wonderful staff and manager. Anything you need they will assist with.

I would have liked a “lip” in the shower area to stop water flooding the bathroom. Otherwise there is absolutely nothing to dislike.

2nd stay here, only time in my life I've been back to a location or hotel. Quality has not declined from the first trip, everything is still beautiful, food is amazing, staff are very accommodating without being invasive. Will be back again!

We had a fantastic, relaxing short stay at Sara - wish it could have been longer. A great resort!

Beautifully located in the middle of Saracen Bay... really enjoyed the tractor ride which picked us up from the pier and took us and our bags to the resort. Staff were incredibly helpful and the service throughout our 5 night stay was excellent. The restaurant had an extensive menu and every meal was delicious.. The room was small but comfortable. We travelled in June and had (mostly) great weather but the whole resort was very quiet..the staff kept themselves busy cleaning and maintaining the grounds and gardens.

No fridge or drinks making facilities...probably due to lack of space in rooms.

Good place for relaxing with a tasty BBQ. Day tour trip they have is wonderful, all the staff are so friendly and the beach is clean too

L'île recelle des ressources : poissons, animaux, légumes, fruits ... Cependant tout ce que nous mangeons viennent de l'import et les produits frais et locaux sont inexistants C'est dommage !!!

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow. The pool, social areas and beach area in front of the hotel were beautiful. The view of the bay definitely stole the show wherever you sat. Simply stunning. Breakfast had enough different options to rotate over a few days. There isn’t really anywhere else to get food on the island but the restaurant had enough variety to cover us for a few days. Happy hour is 4-7 and cocktails are $3.50 and beers $1. No issues with getting sunbeds- perhaps due to low season. The bungalows were very pretty from outside. Given we were on an island, the resort was great value for money (£37 a night) & we spent a very happy few days there.

The bungalows are absolutely fine though a little tired on the inside (with a v hard bed). Wouldn’t prevent me from staying again.

The staff could be a bit friendlier. A mistake was made during our checkout for the bill we had to pay. Not a single word of excuse or even a look to apologize. We went through the bill together item by item and the problem was solved, but not very customer friendly
