Breakfast, cleanliness, value for money & location are all good with only walking distance to Robinson’s supermarket, main road’s commercial district, church & all. For beautiful spots like Cagsawa ruins & Mayon Volcano, you can either ride by jeepney, tricycle or grab taxi for more comfort. Thanks Nang Jinjin (the owner) for my great stay & fantastic services of your staff!

It’s like sweet home far from home. The room we’re booked was great, spacious, bed wise & toilet/bathroom with amenities. It’s walking distance to national road & transport, specialty food store, & minutes ride to shopping mall, and others. The roof deck is the best place to view the Mayon Volcano in the early morning sunrise. Grab taxi can be facilitated by the receptionist.

É praticamente come una vecchia casa coloniale adibita ad hotel. Molto bella e curata nei dettagli. La camera era essenziale ma aveva tutto quello che serviva. La signora e lo staff sono semplicemente dolcissimi e gentilissimi! Location top. Strada interna poco trafficata. 5 minuti da un posto buonissimo per colazioni e brunch!

We loved the atmosphere of the common seating areas! The plants and waterfalls were memorable and the warm hospitality of the hosts was genuine.

Our room was a little small and the towels could stand to be upgraded.

Nice location, quiet and safe. Little bit away from the malls but close to old Albay. Feels like a welcoming home with places to be outside the room and some amenities like rooms with small refrigerators and kitchen sinks. Nice for single, couple or family. Parking for car and motorcycle. Walking to groceries.

Sometimes the old plumbing smells and it's fairly hot in common, open air rooms.

The place is neat and tidy. Close to SM mall…only 5 mins away. Not much of a view but the house feels that you’re home away from home, feels so relaxing. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Location of the place was central to the town/city proper. It was easy to navigate to and was reachable via Grabcar and Grabfood deliveries. You can also walk to the restaurants and nearby convenience stores (about 8 to 10 minutes away). The staff were polite to offer a bigger room for us although it required adding a bit extra so that the room would have a bit more space for 4 people. They have a parking space in front of the building and one can look out the window from a small portion of the house and see Mayon squeezing out lava at night. Aircondition worked fine and the shared kitchen space was definitely functional. TV had netflix and the room had basic toiletries and towels to use. There was just no toothpaste and toothbrush and it somehow felt like you are staying at your old nana's house. Reception is the house's garden area.

Room looked clean but you can smell and touch dusts that maybe formed at the top counter above the beds' head side. There were books and board games but we didn't get to try using them as it was also dusty so this may not be ideal for someone with asthma or allergic rhinitis. There are rooms downstairs but if you get assigned to the ones at the higher floors, it might be difficult for physically disabled people to get to due to the set-up of the stairs. The room we were assigned to had an outside the bathroom shower/changing area which was quite unusual and would not always be an ideal place to use when your room mates has the aircondition on despite having a water heater as it still is influenced by the cold temperature of the room so maybe there could be something done to seclude the bath area. There's hardly any view of Mayon from the rooms as the house faces the other way.

Place is clean. It’s only a few minutes drive to tourist spots which is great. Aaaand you can see the Mayon from the 3rd floor, it is really cool. Highly recommended 💯

Ein wunderschönes Haus, grosse gemeinsame Wohnflächen, natürlich durchlüftet - ein altes philippinisches "Bürgerhaus", wie ich es schon lange nicht mehr gesehen habe. Zimmer und Bad sehr gepflegt, einfach, durchdacht eingerichtet. Leider war ich nur auf der Durchreise und konnte nicht länger als eine Naxht bleiben.

Der Zugang nachts ist sehr dunkel.

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour dans cet établissement, un petit hôtel plein de charme.le personnel est souriant et toujours prêt à vous rendre service, je vous le recommande vivement.

Pillow smelled clean. That's it. Even if there were attempts from the one worker to be "nice" (like providing hot water for coffee), she was actually just doing her job as the (literal) housemaid.

1. False advertising - this is not a hotel, or even a motel or inn. This is a dormitory charging hotel rates. 2. As a dorm, the owner was ever-present in the receiving area, hallway, etc. As if to remind you you're just a guest in her house. 3. The rooms we got were small, really small. Like they were just added to turn a big house into a profiting BnB. 4. There's a stench in the shower/toilet that doesn't go away. It was clean in appearance, but the smell was still there. 5. Water pressure in the shower was really bad; dripping bad. 6. There's a curfew; you may not welcome guests past 10. 7. Except for the bed and TV, nothing else is in the rooms (no fridge, no bedside tables, no chairs, no free bottled water, and so on). 8. There's hot water in the dining area of the house, but... they only have old tea bags and no coffee. So here, it's buy-your-own stuff to drink. 9. WiFi was, basically, non-existent. Don't attempt to do internet-related work while here, you could lose your job. 10. Invasion of privacy happened to us. Particularly, we went out just to grab food, so we left the air-conditioner on. But when we returned, it was turned off, the TV was unplugged, etc. Nothing was lost, thankfully. But having someone enter the room we paid to occupy without our consent was still disturbing. 11. There's a school beside the property, so - when students have classes - noise level can be intolerable. 12. Accessing the property isn't easy for those with vehicles (and this is even if parking is available), since the roads leading to it are winding and really, really narrow. 13. Don't trust those pictures - for instance, there's no yard, there're no good views from the property, and the rooms are much smaller than shown in pictures.

Un guesthouse qui mérite sa réputation, on y a passé trois nuits superbe , plein de petits coins et recoins jusqu’aux terrasses avec vue sur El Mayon qui nous a envoûté. Ici on peut préparé ses repas , un supermarché a 300 mètres très bien achalandé . L’accueil de la propriétaire est parfait et Jason est un hôte parfait plein de bon conseil

Espai comú amb cuina, microones,aigua calenta i freda, cafè i té quan volgueu. Nevera. Ventiladors. Habitació espaiosa, neta, llum natural, endolls i llums a tot arreu. Presió d' aigua i calenta.

I love Balai Tinay! The staff are kind, friendly and service-oriented. I love that they have smart tv in the room. They also have free drinks for their guests. Highly recommended for those who want value for their money. It was great and easy breezy, from the beginning until the end of our stay here.

Le lieu est super ! Les chambres et les parties communes sont toutes biens décorées, propres et agréables. Notamment la terrasse avec vue sur le Mayon ! Chambre calme !

Les hôtes sont très agréables et bienveillants. Proximité commerce, jouets pour les enfants, différents espaces, vue sur le volcan. Chambre familialle avec terrasse très agréable. Nous avons passé une semaine en raison du moment temps et nous étions comme à la maison.

Magnifique maison où on peut profiter aux différents étages . La chambre était très bien propre , bien équipés et accès à l’eau et autre à volonté. Accueil chaleureux rien à dire foncez dans cette pépite avec vue imprenable sur le Mayon !

Todo. El sitio, la localización. Una casita muy cómoda que te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu casa. Las habitaciones muy limpias. Las vistas al volcán.

Todo estaba perfecto. Pero si que había muchas hormigas en la cocina de la zona común que sería interesante arreglarlo.

We were upgraded because my mom, a 94-year-old is too fragile to climb the stairs. The room is very nice and spacious enough for the 4 of us. I travel with my wife, my son, and my mom. I love the room and its location which is near shopping mart and restaurants.
