Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Our request for parking for a large trailer was confirmed immediately. The host/owner was very friendly and assisted with our request. Some extras that were available included rusks, filter coffee and a hot blanket, all much appreciated.

Jackie is a superb host who kept in touch prior to our arrival and ensured that we were made entirely welcome. The little touches - filter coffee and rusks, especially - were most welcome!
There is nothing negative to say about the property. The roads in Kroonstad could do with repair but that is obviously beyond the host’s control. Just drive slowly!

Not that I didn’t like anything there. I’m also not sure if there are other units that have self catering. But having a self catering option would be a massive game changer, since they already provide a kitchenette. But I can’t say if it is viable from a business owner’s perspective.

Jacky was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to local shopping centre. Great value for the price—highly recommended for a comfortable and quiet getaway.

The rooms were clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Would definitely recommend the B&B.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2023The location was great. We had requested an early check in, for which we got a positive reply from Booking.com. However this was not agreed upfront or the message was not conveyed to the owner. Luckily the owner made a great effort to accommodate this request. At the time of booking on Booking.com there was reference made to a breakfast but after booking there was no reference to it so it was unclear if the breakfast was included or if it could have been booked on arrival.
Lack of communication between Booking.com and the owner. Lack of clarity over the organisation the booking of breakfast up front.

Was disappointed to find that there’s no breakfast over the weekend and the parkade is padlocked so you have to get out of the car to unlock which was a bit scary at night.
