Antonia and the entire staff, including the bar staff, are exceptional. Polignano as a whole, not just the Sei Stelle Mama, is a great place for a short stay. We stayed there for a week. Perhaps the room we chose was a bit small for the type of stay, but we opted for experiences coordinated with the staff rather than an overnight stay. Breakfast was always plentiful and could be ordered day by day (the evening before). Accommodation and cleanliness - excellent. Transfers to and from hotels are always carefully and punctually organized. Visits to Monopoli for its sandy beaches are handled with meticulous care. Massages were enjoyed on the splendid terrace. Contacts with local restaurants were also available. Plus everything you can do on your own. I highly recommend it.

I love this hotel because of its amazing staff; Antonia was very welcoming, and they were able to help me with any questions I had or anything I needed. My partner and I booked this trip last minute but the staff really helped me create an amazing agenda to know Puglia in the best way possible! Also, the location is amazing! :)

Since you are in the center of town you will hear a lot of noise during the night, so if you are a light sleeper take this into consideration :)

Accommodation is centrally located, staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast is outstanding and I had a Mimosa Cocktail waiting every morning.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small for suitcases but the room was clean with a quality, updated look. Nice air conditioning. We loved our couples massage on the roof top terrace!

We stayed over the San Vito festival, which we didn’t realise when we booked the accomodation. It was an amazing festival to observe and despite the business the staff were amazing - very accomodating, welcoming and helped with the planning of activities ect. Antonia y todas las chicas son increíbles trabajadoras , el servicio y la calidez hacen que la estadía sea inolvidable. Localización perfecta en medio del centro turístico. Nos ofrecieron garaje privado sin costo. Consistieron a nuestros hijos con detalles y se preocuparon por ayudarnos a planear qué hacer cada día. Un servicio totalmente persona a persona.

Todo nos gustó, lo único es que no esperes llegar a un hotel clásico con front desk y botones en la puerta. Uno de sus atractivos es su café al frente donde haces check in y disfrutas un cóctel de bienvenida. Es diferente una experiencia única

Right in the smack of the old town.

If you don’t want to be disappointed, you definitely need to lower your expectations before booking this place. The staff are nice and mean well, but they are totally understaffed and just can't keep up. The rooms are pretty tiny and don't really look like the pictures online. Plus, since it’s right in the Old Town, expect constant, heavy noise. Breakfast is supposed to be until 10:30 AM, but when we went down at 10:15 one morning, they told us we were too late and refused to serve us, not even a cup of coffee. The breakfast is below average anyway.

I understand that staying in the heart of Old Town means accepting a certain level of city atmosphere, and we were fully prepared for the typical sounds of a bustling area. However, the noise level here is at another level! Beyond typical city hum, we dealt with sustained construction/drilling from the immediate neighbors starting at 7:00 AM, the constant dragging of tables and chairs, loud trolley traffic, and local business owners shouting directly outside our window. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the environment for you. While the hotel notes that room sizes are listed online, I caution potential guests that the photos provided can be misleading due to the angles used and can create a misleading impression of the available space. We stayed in a 14-sq-meter room where one side of the bed was pushed against the wall, making the space extremely cramped. It was physically difficult to open two suitcases at the same time. While larger rooms may exist, I highly recommend verifying the actual layout and usable space rather than relying solely on the marketing photos. Breakfast is advertised until 10:30 AM, but we discovered that management interprets this to mean guests must finish eating and vacate the table by that time. The food quality for breakfast was below average. Furthermore, the breakfast area is shared with non-guests and is very tight, making it a crowded and uncomfortable experience. On our final morning, we went down for breakfast at 10:15 AM (within the advertised hours) but were refused service, not even a simple cup of coffee. We were told that because our checkout was at 11:00 AM, we were considered "late." This is an incredibly unusual policy for a hotel at this price point. Instead of hospitality, we were immediately pressured about returning our key cards. The staff are nice and mean well, but they are totally understaffed and can't keep up. Of the four employees typically present, only one spoke English. There is also a director who communicates fluently in English via phone and Whatsapp, she is kind and helpful; however, she was based at a different location and was not physically present at the property during our stay. In brief: At €250 per night, I expected a level of service, comfort, and professional hospitality that was simply not delivered. Based on our experience, this property does not provide value for the price charged, and I would advise travelers to manage their expectations accordingly before booking.

We were greeted with a welcome drink and aperitivo snacks and such helpful friendly staff. Great location and the breakfast was outstanding!!! They even got up early because of our flight time to home bake a full breakfast for us before we left and sent us on our way with goodies! I love this place and have stayed here a few times!

Can be just a little noisy because you’re right in the center, but the location is so great it’s hard to beat! And it’s so fun sitting in the piazza at the bar people watching :)

Tolle Lage. Nettes Personal. Wegen der zentralen Lage keine Zufahrt zum Hotel. Parkgarage etwas entfernt, daher etwas umständlich mit Gepäck.

Frühstück eher mickrig, nur im Freiern möglich (bei Schlechtwetter ein Problem). Zimmer extrem klein, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten für Gepäck, etc. Weder Tisch noch Sessel vorhanden. Keine Räume wie Lobby, etc. vorhanden.

Central location, easy to explore the town and sites. Our room had everything you could need, we slept well. The roof terrace is a welcome escape from the busy streets below. The real star of the show are the staff - they were all lovely and we felt so welcomed and well looked after. Can’t recommend Sei Stelle Mama enough!

La plaza principal en la que está ubicado, es muy ruidosa, primero las campanas de iglesia, luego el ruido del bar, más las mesas y gente y al amanecer los recolectores de basura ( vidrio) y motocicletas. No pude dormir en toda la noche.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were small but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. On the ground floor there is a bar, which is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs, offering high-quality products. This little bed and breakfast was lovely! The location is amazing as you’re right in the middle of the main piazza. The rooms are small but perfectly clean, with everything you need. It’s local and family owned, the staff and owner are amazing. It’s not a hotel, more of a B&B which makes it special. There are not many hotels around that area.

The regular double room we booked was so small we had no choice but to upgrade at an exorbitant price. The regular room might work for those staying a couple of days but not a week. No room for luggage as the bed took up the entire room.

The hosts made as feel really welcome, they gave us welcome drinks and lunch on arrival and looked after us well through out the stay. Would really recommend as a place to stay- the room, food and hosts were amazing.

The toilet was not blacked out- you could see in from the bedroom.

The location and staff were amazing. Right in the centre of the town and in a main piazza from which we easily walked to see the sites. Breakfast was lovely as was the owner. Signora Antonia went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was very helpful is making restaurant and outing recommendations. She was very accommodating and ensured our every need was met. Property couldn’t be more centrally located in Centro Storico (the historic district). Room was very clean, quiet – even tho it overlooked a passageway, and even somewhat comfortable for is small size. The staff were helpful, cherry, courteous and willing to address almost any question or need. If breakfast is important, it is very good; served leisurely at their tables in the Piazza We hope you connect with the owner, Antonia, as we did; a delightful cherry person focused to make your stay memorable.

Could not have been better, the staff was warm, friendly and welcoming! The rooms well-appointed and contemporary. I would love to come back and spend more time and would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent bar in a great location in the centre of polignano . Also found if serves Sarti spritz , as this was hard to find on our holiday this time . Would highly recommend having drinks here and watching the world go by. Also went back and bought a special Sarti glass

We had unfortunately a terrible stay at this accommadation. The accommadtion site does not tell you they also run a bar/restuarant until 0300 at night. We were to stay 2 nights but after the first night we tried to get our money back for the second night which they refused. The noise level was unbelieveable until 0300 then we had to listened to everyone saying their goodbyes reverberating around the square.Then the garbage people turned up to clean the square @ 0600 !!! As per their policy and conditions I quote -" In any time of the day and night, every guest should respect the quietness. " Interesting?? So it gave us an impression that we would be able to sleep at night. Also, their photos on their site does not display the cafe/bar/restaurant on the ground floor. We went down around 12 midnight to complain and advsed we would be checking out and not staying for our 2nd night.They were not interested and said it is a Italian tradion to party. My daughters deluxe room was as displayed on their web site however, our room was a design room which there are no photos of it on their site- that I suspect is because you had to stand on the bed to hang any clothes and I did not have room for a hand luggage bag.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sei Stelle Mama!! The location is a dream and the staff are so so lovely!! They greeted us with smiles and drinks while we waited to check in. The room was clean and functional and had the cutest balcony. Breakfast was amazing and just cant say enough good things about this hotel. The hotel is located in the Piazza with amazing restaurants and the most beautiful church. We also got to witness two weddings and the celebrations by the people was so fun and exciting.

overpriced for what it was. rooms are tiny but clean. breakfast was nothing special. no sound proofing on the windows and the hotel is in the center of town with a bar underneath. we were woken up every hour with music, noise, church bells, fireworks etc. if you're traveling peak season and want sleep - this isn't your place! the staff was accommodating and let us rebook to their Monopoli hotel, which was much nicer, quieter, and a way more pleasant experience.

We loved our stay at Sei Stelle Mama. They have a very nice place with a bar/drinks on the ground floor. Maria was so nice and always went out of the way for us. Such a great place to stay! Also, the waitresses downstairs were also fantastic. They have an elevator to take you to the upper floors, provide breakfast, and the bed was comfortable. Thank you so much to all the staff for an amazing stay! Especially Maria and Ilenia!

Cozy stay, in the heart of the town

From the moment we arrived on Saturday and us checking out today our stay was perfect due to Analisa looking after us through out our stay from checkin in on us if we needed anything or even booking us in a restaurant. Her hospitality made us feel very welcomed, we used there 25 euro a day parking and this was good value and car was in also safe space In a garage not to a long walk between the hotel and the garage and again we was assisted by Analissa. Breakfast was good with a different selection we could choose from and there was something on the menu for both of us. Our room was nice and we were upgraded to a room overlooking the piazza which was a nice touch and much appreciated. Thank you for a good stay in the heart of polignano a mare.
