⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Antico Mondo, Polignano a Mare was an outstanding place to stay and the perfect base for exploring Puglia. The accommodation is beautifully presented, exceptionally comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard. The hosts were incredibly attentive, providing excellent local information, recommendations, and support throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. A major advantage is the on-site parking, which is invaluable if you're hiring a car to explore the region. From Polignano a Mare, it's easy to visit Ostuni, Lecce, Matera, and the many charming towns and experiences Puglia has to offer. Combined with the region's fantastic food, wine, and hospitality, Antico Mondo made for a truly memorable stay. I couldn't recommend it more highly and would gladly stay again.

도착하기 전부터 여러가지 정보를 받았어요(숙소 위치, 주차장 예약 등) 그리고 비행기가 연착되서 거의 저녁 12시에나 되서 레셉션에 도착했습니다. 하지만 내가 도착할때까지 Jossepe는 퇴근도 하지 않고 함께 기다려주며 체크인을 도와줬어요. 숙소는 테라스가 있는 아파트 였는데 시내 완전 중심에 있어서 숙소 밖으로 나가면 바로 메인거리였어요. 하지만 관광객들이 있는 식당에서 길 하나 차이인데도 너무 조용했구요. 숙소는 1층,2층을 우리만 사용했고 개인용 테라스가 있었는데 매일 밤 가족들과 이탈리아 음식들을 사서 아름다운 휴가를 보냈습니다. 사진을 보면 알겠지만 아침에 일어나면 너무 아름다운 창밖 광경과 함께였고 우리는 정말 이탈리아 사람들이 사는 곳 중심에 와서 그들과 함께 하는 느낌이었어요. 조식도 너무 맛있고 조식때 항상 우리를 반기는 Emio는 이탈리아에 대한 이것저것,그리고 관광에 대한 이것저것 설명을 해줬어요. 4박5일을 하고 우리는 바리로 떠났지만 아직도 그 느낌을 잊을 수가 없습니다. 유럽에서 20년을 살고 유럽 구석구석 여행을 했지만 이렇게 편안하게, 그 나라 사람처럼 아무 걱정없이 여행한 적은 처음인거 같아요. 숙소 후기가 너무 좋아서, 진짜인가했는데, 사실이었어요. 다음에 방문해도 꼭 Antico Mondo로 예약합니다. 감사합니다

There are no words to fully describe how magical this stay was. Polignano a Mare is one of the most breathtaking towns I have ever visited and this apartment made it even more special. Every detail inside was stunning and the whole space felt like something out of a dream. Emio is an exceptional host who truly went above and beyond from start to finish. He helped us arrange transportation from Ostuni, even making it possible to stop in another town along the way, gave us incredible restaurant recommendations, and helped us make reservations everywhere we went. Every single place he suggested was wonderful. You could feel how much he genuinely cares about his guests and that is a direct reflection of this being a family run business. My friend and I felt completely safe, welcomed, and taken care of the entire time. This is the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave. Absolutely one of the highlights of my entire trip. Highly recommend without hesitation and I hope to come back one day.

Unser Aufenthalt wäre nicht so perfekt wenn Emio und Giuseppe nicht da wären!! Sie sind Gold wert, Sie lieben ihre Arbeit und haben sich für uns sehr arrangiert. Τρομερή τοποθεσία με μπαλκόνι και παράθυρο στο πιο φωτογραφικό μέρος του POLIGNANO. Εξυπηρέτηση πάρα πολύ καλή από το προσωπικό και αξιοπρεπές πρωινό με ποιότητα ,όχι ποσότητα. Πολύ καλή η υπηρεσία πάρκινγκ και η μεταφορά προς αυτό.

Antico Mondo Rooms and Suites, our stay here was the absolute highlight of our Puglian holiday. Emio was an incredible host, extremely helpful and wonderful to deal with. Our room was fantastic and in the best location in Old Town only a very short walk to the famous beach and amongst so many fabulous restaurants shops and bars. The atmosphere was fabulous and yet it was so quiet as we were early to bed and to rise. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and truly hope we are lucky enough to return. This room has one of the best views in Polignano a Marè. Super spacious and with all the amenities. The staff are absolutely exceptional. It’s my second year back in the same room for a couple nights and I’m looking forward to my future stays.

Loved the location and the way the property was managed. If I had rental properties I wished I could get a manager like Emio. He was always helpful and pleasant.

Where do I even begin. This experience from booking to the end was exceptional. Emio guided us with his recommendations from when we were initially booking and throughout our stay. When we arrived he looked at our itinerary and suggested one change, which we took his advice on. We added Matera and Alberobello. Both stops were amazing and reshaped our trip. Our room had the most breathtaking view, overlooking the grotta. They served a very nice complementary breakfast every morning. Emio and his staff were all very nice and helped make our experience perfect! I can not recommend Antico Mondo enough. Emio, the room, town and restaurants were amazing. Book with them and thank me later!

I don't write many reviews because generally expectations are high and the experience disappoints. In this instance, my expectations were exceeded, so therefore this review. Our room was memorable in originality, well appointed, and a genuine experience. The location was fantastic, near the center of the action.But, and this is the biggest "but," the hospitality and advice from Guiseppe, Emio, and the staff were some of the best I have ever experienced while traveling. Would I rebook? Without a doubt, yes.

Antico Mondo were the consummate hosts. Nothing, not matter how big or how small, was a problem. If you needed a driver and a trip to the beach at Monopoli, done. Craving seafood and you needed a restaurant reservation, done. Needed more water in your room every day, done. The property location was spectacular and the views amazing. Our room was overlooking the water and we could see the bridge so it did tend to be slightly noisy (at least outside) but it did allow you to feel the energy of the town, especially at night. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable for two people including TWO outdoor patios. Perfect for a drink before dinner or a nightcap as you listen to the waves. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend staying with Antico Mondo. The staff is personable and truly a pleasure.

Antico Mondo was a spectacular experience. From the time we arrived we were treated like family and friends. Our room had the most amazing view of the ocean and the main beach. The room was very comfortable and large I didn’t even want to leave the room. It was in the center of old town, the location could not have been better. The breakfast, room and service was 10 out of 10 perfection. The hotel helped with an airport transfer and helped with booking restaurant reservations and day tips in Puglia area. I definitely will be returning

Beautiful location with spectacular views. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing deck overlooking the water and an additional rooftop deck The staff was extremely accommodating and made you feel so welcome. They even arranged dinner reservations and transportation. You can tell the love what they do and take great pride in their work.

Staying at Antico Mondo was so so wonderful! I stayed with them for a few days solo before friends joined and both were a wonderful experience. Emio and Giuseppe were so helpful every single day going the extra mile to make our stay easy and enjoyable. They gave us fabulous recommendations, helped us book excursions, and made some of our favorite dinner reservations for the whole group! The location was amazing, inside the old town and everything was walking distance from us! The room was modern and comfortable, nice bedding and towels. also a very nice shower and bathroom facilities. Eniugh soace to hang and un-pack clothing. Breakfast was also very good and reasonably priced! The staff was fantastic! Super friendly and helpful, I can not recommend this place enough! They also recommended restaurants and made bookings for us, they go above and beyond!

We had a wonderful stay at Antico Mondo. Emio and Giuseppe went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Our room was amazing. We had a double terrace overlooking Lama Monochile. We can’t wait to return.

The location is simply unbeatable, overlooking Lama Monachile beach! You feel constantly in contact with external beautiful views!

The price is very high and although room is amazing it still is a b&b with no other hotel/like services that usually accompany high prices.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The location, right in the centre, was extremely convenient and not noisy. The room (we stayed in the Superior Double Room with Terrace) was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities needed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, sorting parking and giving recommendations on where to eat/what to do. The breakfast was delicious. The entire stay felt welcoming, authentic and easy-going. I cannot fault this place and highly recommend.

The room was spectacular, you have the best view in the city just outside the balcony door. Everything was in great condition, a very modern look in the historic center of the city. To add to the room, both Emio and Giuseppe were great hosts. They made sure we were well taken care of, constantly checking in and giving great recommendations around the city. The breakfast was very authentic. Great local bites to give you a more cultural experience. Fantastic stay, cant wait to come back!

The location is just at the central spot of the town, very convenient to all places. Emio is really taking care of the guests. If you have a good budget, suggest to book seaview suit which makes your time valuable for staying in this fantastic town.

We stayed at Antico Moro in early June for our 25th anniversary. We had the top floor sea view suite. What an incredible room! The owner, Emio, has painstakingly and gloriously renovated his rooms and suites. The design is lovely and the detail incredible. The room and bed are very comfortable. We had the best view in town - of the Llama Marche. Beyond the rooms, the breakfast is also lovely, but the real reason to stay is Emio. He is part hotel owner, part concierge, part tour guide. He helped me plan our entire trip and even took us around the area, driving us to the White Villages and Matera. He suggested and reserved restaurants for us and recommended activities. In short, he was incredible. Polignano a Mare is a truly special place and staying at the Antico Moro makes it even more wonderful.

Room was very clean comfortable and location was perfect! They offer different and upgraded levels of stay. Our room was basic and was fine as we spent little time inside.

This is not reflective of our hosts in any way but perhaps the restaurant nearby. The alleyway that led to our room was quaint but there was a lot of debris and pigeon poop on the steps. That is my only criticism. Everything else was great!

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment and it was perfect for a group of 4. The rooms were large, AC worked perfectly, and comfy beds. The rooftop was a wonderful addition with views of the whole city. Most importantly, Emio and Giuseppe, took care of every request our group made (and there were lots). They gave us constant activity and restaurant recommendations plus organized tours, boats, and transfers. I’ve never experienced such time and attention from an accommodation owner/manager. I cannot go without mentioning that each morning there was a gorgeous breakfast waiting for us. I would not have changed a thing about our trip and highly recommend Antico Mondo.

This was our first time in Puglia (first time in Europe in general) and I booked this with the help of Trip Advisor reviews. We loved it so much, I just had to add my own…We only stayed here for 2 nights because we had to travel an hour south for a wedding, but I WISH we could have stayed longer! We stayed in the sea view suite that has the 2 story terrace and it was breathtaking, simply unreal. In a town like Polignano a Mare, you just need to stay in a room with a view like that! So worth it! From beginning to end, our host Giuseppe was the best! So friendly and welcoming. He booked reservations for us at restaurants he recommended, based on our dietary preferences, that were both soo delicious. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in Puglia!

Staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. They also responded very quickly to messages. They also did their best to get us into our room earlier than the official checkin time and stored our bags until then. The “cave room” itself was very nice and located in a quiet area.

Breakfast started at 8:30am which was late because of early tours. However, the staff did prepare breakfast boxes for an earlier pickup.

Our stay with Antico Mondo was amazing. The room was absolutely amazing and had incredible views. Our host Giuseppe was amazing and always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The team including Emio were also wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Jedno z tych miejsc do których chce się wracać. Emio , gospodarz obiektu to wspaniały, bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny człowiek który od momentu rezerwacji służył pomocą nie tylko w kwestii hotelu ale również organizacji parkingu , wycieczek czy polecenie wyśmienitych restauracji . Apartament z którego mieliśmy okazję korzystać oferuje niewątpliwie najlepszy widok w mieście na słynną plaże która znajduję się tuż pod balkonem. Można godzinami siedzieć i patrzeć w rozbijające się o klif fale. Sam pokój duży przestronny z wygodnym łóżkiem i częścią wypoczynkową. Tuż obok aneks kuchenny z ekspresem do kawy i lodówką z napojami i przekąskami. Łazienka obszerna z dużym prysznicem a dodatkowym atutem była sauna parowa w której można się zrelaksować po całym dniu . Apartament znajduję w odległości 10 -15 metrów od kameralnego rynku w starej części miasta. Śniadanie bardzo dobre i wybór dań jak najbardziej odpowiadał naszym gustom. Gorąco polecam i z pewnością z chętnie wrócimy do tego miejsca

We booked an apartment with sun terrace in the town. We needed parking to be able to do so and the Antico staff were able to offer this as well as the option to rent a garage. They helped carry our bags from outside the walls into the town and then to our apartment. It was a perfect place to be able to explore the town and feel comfortable. It had two beds with air-conditioning, two baths and a kitchen. Breakfast is served at a central dining room close by and the staff were always on hand to provide some concierge services. They will link up with you on WhatsApp once you have booked.

Frankly it wasn't asked for but a bottle of wine and some basic provisions (milk) would have been nice on arrival. I'm sure if we had asked it would have been provided in advance. I didn't like the plastic sheets on the mattresses - very sweaty ! They have lots of apartments available. It is worth browsing what they can offer.

Incredible central location overlooking Lama Monachile, amazing room terrace, clean rooms and worth every penny. Most important was the communication and customer service from Emio and Giuseppe who went above and beyond to assist us with anything and everything including restaurant reservations and carrying our luggage. The kitchen breakfast team and cleaning ladies were incredibly welcoming and eager to assist with anything we needed including extra coffee pods in our room. To top it off, breakfast was included. Super charming place, best location, and AMAZING STAFF. We travelled for two weeks staying in even more expensive hotels , but Antico by far beats them all. Grazie mille!

I loved the owner. He is so sweet and kind and helpful with recommendations in the area. I loved that my room had Netflix. Sounds small but when travelling in a foreign country it is so nice to hear your own movies on the TV. The hotel is walking distance to everything. It is far from the parking lot but he arranged free transport to and from the lot so it was very easy. The breakfast was very good too!

The stairs up to the main door. However the owner was lovely to help me get my bag up the stairs and again up the few stairs to my room. Also you cannot see the sea from the room. My room had a balcony that faced a loud busy street. The hotel is not on the water.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. We arrived early in the morning, well before the official checkin time and right away, they gave us options and prioritized getting our room ready early. They held our luggage for us and since it’s located in the centro storico, it was easy to just take a walk around and explore right away. We had early morning tours and they nicely provided us with early breakfast boxes as the free breakfast is available starting at 8:30. We had booked the cave room and it felt a bit spa-like. The shower area is a step down from the bedroom and there are 3-4 steps to get inside the room. To get to the room which was about 2 minutes walk from the office, the staff helped with our bags. The room is nicely located in a quieter area but only about 1-2 minutes walk from the livelier streets and areas. Shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, lotion were some of the included toiletries. We would book this room again!

Emio and Guiseppe were so helpful and accommodating. This was our 2nd time here and it was just as good as the first. They had so many great recommendations for food/trips/ transfers. It is the little touches like remembering your coffee order every morning that made it extra special. The WhatsApp number was so useful to get information at any time also. The location is amazing, the rooms were spacious and cleaned every day, we couldn't have asked for better.

Alles was perfect, het personeel was heel zorgzaam en behulpzaam. De locatie was helemaal top en de kamer zeer sfeervol en een bed met kraakhelder beddengoed met de vouw er nog in. Het ontbijt was niet duur en met zorg samengesteld met kleine ‘gerechtjes’ uit Puglia.

We chose to spend part of our honeymoon here and we were very happy with the hotel room! The location of the hotel and the view over the beach was stunning. Emio is a fantastic manager of the location . He went above above and beyond to help get reservations, give advice and everything else. He is a very warm person that makes you feel welcome. I would rate this hotel and location 5 stars and would highly recommend for someone looking to travel to Poligiano!

Nous avons tout aimé! Le personnel est hyper serviable . Il nous a même monté les valises dans notre chambre. La chambre était superbe avec 2 terrasses. L'établissement est dans l'hyper centre de Polignano; ce qui est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment fait maison et très varié. Le gérant nous a même organisé une sortie en mer sans que nous ne nous occupions de rien!

Emio and his staff, shout out to Giuseppe, as well, were amazing. They were very helpful in providing transportation, recommendations, and reservations throughout Puglia. The room we stayed in was beautiful and spacious with an amazing terrace. Breakfast was delicious and so was the espresso! I traveled with my mom, and we had a blast in the area of Puglia because of Emio and his team. I plan to return with my husband in the future!

The wonderful service started well in advance of our arrival, with detailed answers to our questions, in preparation for our visit. Emio and his team at the hotel do a fabulous job and bend over backwards to do anything and everything they can for their guests. They helped us with many recommendations for dinners, and even arranged a wonderful day for us to spent at a beach Lido. It was AMAZING! We opted for the included breakfast, which included an array of fresh baked and freshly prepared, delicacies, in addition to yogurts, fresh fruits, and of course, the most delicious coffee and juices. We took advantage of arranging parking at the hotel, which was very convenient. The location of the property is ideal, as it is right in the center of town. Despite being centrally located, the rooms remain nice and quiet. The air conditioning works well and the windows provide very nice breezes. We were in the apartment and had multiple balconies and a large rooftop terrace with sun, shade and ocean views. We hope to be fortunate enough to return to Polignano A Mare someday and if we do, we will definitely stay here again. Emio, thank you for everything and we hope to be back to see you again!!

It was centrally located with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

The location, great hospitality

Everything was incredible! The sea view suite is beautiful, upgraded, perfect view, amazing bed & the shower is Awesome! Also, perfect location!! Emio was so Amazing! From the moment I booked he went above and beyond to help us plan our stay and have the BEST experience! I have already recommended friends to stay and we will be back!
