Alpenglühn Apartments - Adult Only

This was a fantastic place to stay at. The location was great. The apartment was well decorated, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts have thought of everything and were extremely responsive. We also enjoyed the sauna and the pool. Would definitely highly recommend and stay there again. Only bad part: we did not want to leave!

Mega freundliche, bemühte Besitzer. Lage direkt am Fluss, fußläufig zum Salzbergwerk. Sehr bequem und ein super gepflegter Außenbereich und Pool.

Lage, Gastgeber und Ausstattung waren hervorragend.

De facililteiten, het uitzicht en de mensen waren erg goed. En we kregen een upgrade omdat we langer dan gemiddeld bleven. In de omgeving is veel te zien en Berchtesgaden is voor zo'n relatief klein stadje heel gevarieerd.

Eigenlijk was alles goed tot uitstekend. Het enige was dat door de hitte de ramen open blijven. Dan hoor je het riviertje ruisen 's nachts.

Het is een zeer mooie, nette en rustgevende accommodatie. Bij aankomst wordt je warm ontvangen. De gastvrouw en gastheer staan heel het verblijf voor je klaar.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles da, was man braucht oder brauchen könnte. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist toll, man kann sogar das Kehlsteinhaus sehen. Das Highlight ist der Pool und der Whirlpool. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett gewesen und fast rund um die Uhr erreichbar.

Ich habe eine Spinnenphobie, leider gab es nirgends Insektenschutz an den Fenstern, dementsprechend hatten wir dann doch achtbeinigen Besuch. Allerdings hat mein Mann totesmutig die Spinne beseitigt. Das ist aber jammern auf hohen Niveau, denn sonst gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Es war alles gut! Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man braucht (die Messer sind sogar scharf 😉). Der Pool war eine tolle Möglichkeit, sich abzukühlen.

Es gab nichts. Wir haben die Sauna wegen der Hitze nicht genutzt. Allerdings überraschte es uns, dass wir dafür Geld hätten bezahlen müssen.

Extrem schöne Wohnung und super ausgestattet! Der Pool und die poolbar sind die Krönung!

Sovesofaen var ikke god at sove sove på.

Prachtig uitgangspunt voor leuke tripjes in de omgeving. Dan is het ‘‘s avonds echt thuis komen. Heel mooi uitzicht op de bergen met in de verte het Kehlsteinhaus. ‘s Nachts heerlijk slapen met het geruis van het riviertje op de achtergrond. Zeer complete keuken en de basisdingen als koffiepads, afwasmiddel, olie, suiker en zout liggen klaar. Zwembad direct voor onze deur. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw en gastheer.

Afstand tot het centrum van Berchtesgaden vonden wij te ver om te lopen, maar met auto of fiets geen enkel probleem.

I had a wonderful stay here with my dog and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely accommodating—not just to me, but to my dog as well, which made a huge difference. The facilities were excellent: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort for both guests and their pets. There was plenty of space to relax, and the pet-friendly features made traveling with my dog completely stress-free. What stood out most was the level of service. The team consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. It truly felt like a place that cares about its guests. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a pet. I’ll definitely be coming back.

the bed could have been firmer, specially for people with back issues, other than that it was a great stay!

Eine super schöne und moderne Unterkunft mit herzlichen Vermietern. Außergewöhnlich sauber und absolut einladend. Sehr hundefreundlich. Diese Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen.

We had a wonderful weekend in this appartement. We visited Königssee (around 30 min with public transportation), city Center is about 20 min away. The location has outside Pool and Sauna which is available for 1.5 hours daily through Reservation. Our appartement had also very big balcony where you can have breakfast while watching the mountains.

A Ventilator would be helpful in hot weather. Otherways everything was great.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und stets darum bemüht, dass es ihren Gästen an nichts fehlt. Die Lage ist hervorragend und ideal, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft überzeugt zudem mit einer top Ausstattung und außergewöhnlicher Sauberkeit. Besonders der schöne Pool lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal war außerordentlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer und alle Bereiche des Hotels waren sauber und gepflegt. Bei Fragen oder Wünschen standen Nicole und Klaus jederzeit zur Verfügung und konnte immer weiterhelfen. Beautiful setting with a very accommodating host. The pool area was wonderful after a day of hiking in the hills. The apartment was very well equipped giving us a much needed rest from restaurant meals.

Due to the unusual heat at this time of year it became quite hot for sleeping. Some fans may be useful since it seems that the heat is becoming more normal.

Sehr ruhige Lage, direkt am Königssee Radweg. wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir werden gerne wieder einen Urlaub dort verbringen.

The Watzmann apartment was well-appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean. Facilities and Alpengluhn were excellent as was the breakfast. The hotel is a 20-25 minute walk from the centre of Berchtesgaden; take the route past the salt works.

Tolle Gastgeber! Es wurde wirklich nicht an Ausstattung und Qualität gespart – Sauna, Pool, Jacuzzi – alles ist vorhanden und in Top-Zustand. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Ich hatte hier mein eigenes kleines Wellness-Paradies und komme definitiv gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Modern und Exklusiv ist die Ausstattung bei kompromissloser Sauberkeit gepaart mit ausgesprochener Gastfreundlichkeit durch die Eigentümer. Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Apartment ist der „Hochthron“ als eine Wohlfühloase besonderer Art! Ein Badewannentraum im Wohnzimmer mit Multimedia vom Feinsten war eine neue Erfahrung, die uns viel Spaß gemacht hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Wohnung ,prima ausgestattet uns sollte etwas benötigt werden, wird es sofort geliefert. Sehr netter Kontakt zu Vermietern.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft. Einfach alles hat gestimmt. Sauberkeit, Lage und vor allem die familiäre Atmosphäre. Schon lange nicht mehr so wohl gefühlt wie in diesem Urlaub. Wir sehen uns wieder.

De locatie, het zwembad. Relatief grote badkamer. Beschikbaarheid van een sauna.

Wakker worden van sigarettenrook, ipv de frisse berglucht. Omdat het zo warm was hadden we de ramen open staan. Helaas werd er ergens beneden ons gerookt in de vroege uren. Kleine tegenvaller was dat het 2e tweepersoonsbed een slaapbank betrof in de woonkamer, welke relatief zacht was.

Die Ferienanlage ist sehr gepflegt und toll ausgestattet. Die Bilder entsprechen zu 100% der Realität! Man merkt die Liebe fürs Detail! Die Besitzer haben stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und sorgen für jeglichen Komfort! Alles ist super sauber! Wir können das "Alpenglühn " wirklich wärmstens weiterempfehlen!🥰

Das Einzige, was man vielleicht "bemägeln" könnte, ist die Nähe zur Berchtesgadener Ache, die schon recht laut ist. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man aber so gut wie gar nichts.😎

Die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber, die Sauberkeit, und es hat alles gepasst... Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The accommodations were exactly as shown. Super comfortable firm bed and pillows that were just right. Kitchen was supplied with everything you would need. The sauna in the evening was wonderful. Highly recommend!

It was in the most beautiful location, right next to a mint green milky stream. It was quiet and peaceful. The amenities were amazing - the hot tub and pool were such a bonus. Our host, was the sweetest and kindest host we’ve ever had. When we left, my little boy said he missed her already. The apartment was as cozy as if it were our own. I can’t say a single negative thing about our stay. Book it!

We went there for the fourth time, and all I can say that the level of everything has not dropped.

The combination af surroundings, facilities, service and quality will be a hard match anywhere. However, my bet is that you will be even harder pressed to find a match to the ever present host Peter, no matter where you look. He and his crew takes such great pride in your stay being perfect, in a way I have not met anywhere else. The perfect combination of personnal and professional. My only hesitation when recommending Alpenglühn, is the fact that I would like to keep it a secret, to make sure there will still be room for me…

This is my honeymoon trip and I'm so glad I booked this B&B. The boss is very attentive and helps with the decoration. There is also a sauna experience, which is really amazing. Thank you very much to the B&B owner for his thoughtfulness.

Absolutely everything. The host was absolutely amazing. He made us feel right at home and truly went above and beyond for us. I felt like I had know him for years. He’s very kind, welcoming and is absolutely dedicated to making sure you have everything you could possibly want. Very helpful with recommendations for local tourism and attractions. If we could, we would be back in a heartbeat.

The size of the apartment, the pool, the jacuzzi

The bedroom was not dark enough imo, luckily I had a mask but otherwise it would have been a bit uncomfortable. They said the jacuzzi was 38 degrees Celsius but it didn't feel like it. Also a lot of material was missing in the kitchen (more small spoons, knives, etc.)

An extremely warm welcome from Peter (our host). He was exceptional. His knowledge of the area is second to none. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property and facilities (Hot tub, swimming pool and sauna) were exceptional. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. Shower and separate bath and a Lovely comfortable bed. I really recommend this place. Thank you Peter for making us so welcome.

Room was amazing, breakfast was great, mostly the coffee. The owner was incredible, he went above and beyond for us. He was very helpful.

Peter is a very friendly and helpful host. He goes out of his way to be accommodating We ate in the small dining room on 2 nights and enjoyed our meal- it is served at an exceptionally relaxed pace It’s location is perfect for visiting the salt mine and its a 10-15 min walk to town centre.

While I genuinely cannot fault the overall experience, a couple of minor suggestions for improvement would be a potential upgrade to the wifi for smoother connectivity and perhaps the addition of streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ to the TV for cozy movie nights.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made out stay top notch. The BBQ was AMAZING!!

I liked everything about it and will be back. Maybe only one tiny improvement which would be to have a long mirror .

We stayed at a top floor "cave" apartment for a night and had a very comfortable short stay. The location was close to the lake, the property had parking and amazing views. We had an authentic German roast dinner in the garden of the hotel, hosted by the owner himself. We had a great night and tasted some of home made beverages. Our stop in Konigssee was short, but Peter really made us feel welcome. It was a pleasure!

Amazing property 5* Peter is an great host that would do anything to please your stay and take responsibility for his place. Amazing pool, Grate for a vacation with children.
