Ein hervorragender Gastgeber und seine tolle Frau in der Küche haben exzellentes Frühstück gezaubert. Individuelles wurde immer abgefragt und Mike hat immer einengst für den Tag parat gehabt. Besonders gefallen hat der gemeinsame Tisch aller Gäste. Man kam mit allen ins Gespräch.

Das Zimmer mit den Einzelbetten im Obergeschoss ist nicht wirklich für größere Personen geeignet. Die anderen Zimmer sind sehr geräumig.

Casa caratteristica inglese, con giardino e spazi comuni molto gradevoli, ben arredata, piacevole atmosfera. Colazione super in tavolata con gli altri ospiti. I proprietari simpatici e gentili, molto easy, molti suggerimenti nel libro comune disponibile per consultazione.

Camera piuttosto piccola, bagno davvero minuscolo, giusto lo spazio di rigirarsi tra wc, lavandino e doccia. Rapporto qualità prezzo a mio avviso non eccezionale, considerando che la camera e il bagno sono piuttosto piccoli e ci si trova a Penzance che è la meta meno attraente della Cornovaglia.

Der "Host" ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, er hat tolle Tipps für Restaurants und "sights to see". Beim vielfältigen, leckeren Frühstück begegnet man zwanglos den anderen Gästen. Holbein House hat einen Garten, in dem man entspannt sitzen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt am Ende der Bucht von Penzance. Man ist nah an dem Stadtzentrum, aber nicht mittendrin. Parkplätze in den Straßen sind vorhanden und ohne Gebühr. Wenn wir wieder nach Penzance kommen, wissen wir schon, dass wir wieder zum Holbein House gehen werden!

Everything was really lovely the hotel was very special and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. They really supported us on getting the most out of our stay by showing us many different places to visit and restaurants to try!

Zimmer im Dachgeschoss war etwas warm, aber dem Wetter geschuldet! Nur Sonnenschein.

Mike & Ally sind die besten Gastgeber überhaupt! Freundlich, unglaublich hilfsbereit. Elvis, der Hund und Molly, die Katze, einfach toll. Unsere Kinder liebten sie! Die Betten super bequem. Das Frühstück von Ally, ein Traum, vermissen es jetzt schon. Alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Mit öffentliche Bussen konnten wir gut die Gegend erkunden. Oder mit Ian, dem singenden Taxifahrer :-) Wollen unbedingt wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für alles, Ally und Mike.

Prachtige B&B, alles goed verzorgd en heerlijk ontbijt. Mike en Ally (en de lieve kat en hond, Molly en Elvis) zijn heel gastvrij en weten veel mooie tips over Cornwall.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und gaben Tipps für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut. Am großen Tisch im Esszimmer kamen wir mit den anderen Gästen schnell ins Gespräch. Es herrschte eine sehr nette Stimmung. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mike und Ally waren super Gestgeber. Mike hatte für jeden Ausflug einen Tipp. Das Frühstück war spitze, mit frischem Obst, Joghurt und vielen anderen Sachen. Auf Wunsch gabe es typisches englisches Frühstück und am besten haben die frischen Omlette von Ally geschmeckt. Alle Gäste saßen gemeinsam an einem großen Tisch, so dass ein reger Austausch schon am frühen morgen stattfand.

Una casa preciosa, muy cómoda. El desayuno es excepcional. Mucho mejor que en hotel. Los dueños de la casa son magníficos, siempre atentos y siempre dispuestos para dar recomendaciones, siempre excelentes. Y Elvis, el perro, un animal encantador. Muy recomendable

Herzliche Gastgeber mit viel Humor. Am großen gemeinsamen Esstisch kamen wir mit anderen Gästen ins plaudern. Dazu das tolle Frühstück mit Omelett, frischem Obst. Alles ist sehr liebevoll und besonders eingerichtet. Wir bekamen auch Tipps für Restaurants.

Ottima posizione vicino al centro e al lungomare. Gestori gentilissimi e sempre disponibili danno molti consigli utili per trascorrere una ottima vacanza in zona.

Camera purtroppo senza aria condizionata e alla sera era caldissima. La finestra non è insonorizzata e fino a tardi i gabbiani e i merli fanno un casino pazzesco. Poi al mattino ti ritrovi la macchina tappezzata di ricordi dei gabbiani...

Meget venligt og hjælpsomt værtspar, der i høj grad formår at få deres gæster til at føle sig taget godt imod, altid klar til at give et tips, hvis man har brug for det. Morgenmaden en meget lækker og du kan få nøjagtig det, du ønsker af den varme morgenmad. Hele huset og haven er meget smagfuldt og hyggeligt indrettet. Ikke at forglemme er den søde hund Elvis også et plus, der er med til at skabe en hjemlig og rar atmosfære.

Sengen var lidt for hård for min smag. Et lille køleskab på det ellers meget flotte og værelse ville også have været dejligt.

It is a comfortable B&B with modern comforts. It is close to the Penzance Promenade, railway, and shops. Mike and Ally are wonderful hosts who make a delightful breakfast and connect guests with reliable, local taxi drivers.

A casa em si, que é linda, a simpatia incrível da Ally e do Michael, o maravilhoso pequeno almoço, com omeletes feitas no momento e a localização.

Só tivemos inicialmente alguma dificuldade com o aquecimento e o seca toalhas, porque achámos que não estavam ligados (em Junho seria normal), mas afinal estavam!

Ally and Mike are amazing hosts - very welcoming, helpful and warm. Our room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious with many options, cold and warm, even for vegans like myself. And I would give extra points to if I could for their lovely pets and Elvis and Molly. Would definitely stay here again

We had a fantastic time at Holbein House. The hosts are incredibly friendly people and also make amazing breakfast. :-) You can also get lots of tips from them for local sightseeing and day trips around the area. The rooms were large, very cozy & nicely decorated and also very clean. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay in and around Penzance, I can wholeheartedly recommend Holbein House!

Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr freundlich, machen Frühstück nach Wunsch und geben Tips für den Tag. Das Zimmer ist typisch Englisch eingerichtet. Man frühstückt gemeinsam an einem großen Tisch mit den anderen Gästen, was zu tollen Gesprächen führt.

Unterkunft mit Flair und persönlicher Note. Exzellente Betreuung und Versorgung durch die Inhaber. Sie waren jederzeit mit Tipps und Ratschlägen behilflich. Wunderbares frisches Obst und Haus Omelette zum Frühstück. Würde jederzeit und unheimlich gerne wiederkommen. Wunderbare ruhige aber doch zentrale Lage. Die Krähennester vor dem Fenster sind überhaupt kein Problem.

Lovely bnb in a beautiful part of Penzance. Owners were absolutely fab, so welcoming and went over and above to make our group feel comfortable and at home.

We had an amazing stay at Holbein house with Ally, Mike and Elvis 💕🐶 (the most well behaved dog you will ever meet). The house is lovely as shown on pictures, very spacious and cosy. Mike and Ally are the most thoughtful host, flexible and will give you great advice during your stay. I recommend 1000%.

Wunderschöne Villa mit charmanter Einrichtung. Wir haben sehr wertvolle Tipps von den super netten Ally und Mike erhalten.

The hosts Ally, Mike, and Elvis the dog were very welcoming and made the stay extremely pleasant. They were helpful with suggestions for eating and activities, and their enthusiasm for Cornwall shines through. They even loaned us a blanket and some pillows for a trip to Minack Theatre. The room was very nice and the location was fantastic. Breakfast was great, a real highlight.

This is a minor thing, but I think the TV could be mounted a little higher on the wall to keep the bedpost out of the line of sight for viewing from the bed.

The family styled breakfast that the make guests every morning was top tier! Very much got to know the other guests staying there over breakfast.

The rooms were a bit dated, and the location was a bit further from the city centre. However, even with that in mind, you can easily walk to the city centre, and they have a nice beach nearby. Flagging for others, despite these not being negatives for me. I think the location was nicer than the city centre, in my opinion!

Nach langer Wanderung hatten wir eine Zwischenübernachtung in diesem sehr schönen und liebevoll ausgestatteten Haus. Besonders war der warme Empfang und auch das ausgezeichnete Frühstück serviert durch die sehr herrlichen Gastgeber.

Accommodation was very nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choices and very friendly hosts. Location was very good, with a fairly short walk to the sea front and restaurants.

Although the room we had was very clean, it was small with a very small bathroom. However, this was classed as a small double room, so we should have expected this.

Property was great, unfortunately it was on a noisy road. As the windows are sash and not double glazed, we didn’t sleep very well, however, this would not put us off staying here again.

It was a perfect two day stay. Ally made us so welcome as did Elvis the golden retriever; what a lovely dog. The rooms are beautifully decorated with super art work on the walls. Truly a lovely place to stay.
