Decent facilities too with an easy to use coin laundry and self-cloak room as well as a nice lounge area with a functional kitchenette. The location is quite good too with a short walk to multiple train stations and right in the heart of Kyoto.
No view at all from the room - just a frosted glass window.

Todos los alojamientos en Japón por muy básicos que sean tienen gel, champú y secador de pelo y paraguas para los cliente por si llueve. Relación calidad precio buena

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026The best hostel I have stayed at in my entire life, and I am not exaggerating. Even though the hostel was fully booked, I never had to wait for a bathroom or shower. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel provides all the amenities you might need, including lockers in the rooms, towels, and even slippers. The location is excellent, with easy access to the metro, the city center, and the main attractions, many of which are within walking distance. Overall, it offers outstanding value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gute Lage: Der Nishiki-Markt ist nicht weit entfernt und bietet eine große Auswahl an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Dank der nahegelegenen Bus- und U-Bahn-Stationen erreicht man Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Gion, den Fushimi Inari-Schrein und viele weitere Orte schnell und unkompliziert. Für einen preiswerten Aufenthalt in Kyoto ist das Hotel eine klare Empfehlung.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Ein ausgezeichnetes Hotel. Saubere Zimmer, saubere Bettwäsche und Badutensilien, sehr saubere Toiletten und Duschräume. Ein sehr geräumiger Bereich, in dem sich Frauen waschen können. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer bereit zu helfen.
Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass man das Fenster im Zimmer nicht öffnen konnte, sodass es ständig an frischer Luft mangelte. Man konnte den Raum nur mit der Klimaanlage lüften und kühlen. Mein Mann ist allergisch gegen die Luft aus der Klimaanlage.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Ubytovani pusobi nove, moderne. Je v dochozi vzdalenosti asi 12 min od stanice metra, v okoli se nacházejí i redtaurace a za rohem je konbini. Pokoj byl velmi maly, ale pro 2 osoby s batohy dostacujici. Postel byla taktez velmj pohodlna. Ubytovani ma spolecne sprchy v B1 nebo jeste ve 4 patre pouze pro zeny. Spolecne sprchy byly velmi pohodlne, kazda sprcha mela i predsin, dalo se uzamknout a vse bylo ciste. Na miste byla moznost i vyprat pradlo v pradelne. Na pokoji bylo pouze umyvadlo, toalety byly na patre a byly udrzovany v cistote.
Z chodby byly slyset zvuky, bouchajici dvere. Zaroven jsme byli zklamani z pristupu personalu, snazili jsme se domluvit na uskladneni 2 batohu 1 den pred checkinem. Personal byl neochotny batohy uschovat, i kdyz maji oznacenou celou místnost na zavazadla vedle pradelny. Celkove pristup ubytovani k hostum neni moc privetive, nebot napr. po checkinu nemuzete ani do salonku do spolecnych prostor. Pokoj mel sice okno, ale nebylo jej mozne otevrit a pristup vzduchu byl pouze klimatizace nebo vetrakem, ktery byl ale velmi hlucny, takze se nedalo spat a bylo velke horko.

特にありません。 海外の方の方が多かった印象ですが、夜間も静かで、シャワールーム等でもマナーを守って過ごされてました。

The showers were only in the basement for all genders and the floor above us for women which was irritating. It also meant you could hear people tramping up and down the corridor to use them. The passive aggressive signs were also out of control - 7 signs to tell guests not touch the artwork in the common space seemed excessive. A member of staff put a note in my shoes at 11pm asking me to move them. The kitchen was closed overnight until 7am which was totally impractical for everyone who gets up early for temple visits etc.

Los baños y las duchas están fuera de las habitaciones y son comunes, pero ambos espacios son grandes y muy limpios y con todo tipo de comodidades. La verdad que es de mi viaje a Japón fue el mejor Hotel en el que estuve.
Está un poco alejado del casco antiguo de Kioto, pero nada que un autobús o la estación de Gojo no solucione. Nos costó un rato encontrarlo ya que la ubicación no es exacta, pero para que os guíe hay un Family Mart justo en la esquina de la calle.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Even though there are no en suites, the were so many shower cubicles in the shower areas that you never had to wait and they were nice and clean.

Shared bathroom spaces were kept clean and tidy, there were also plenty of showers and hairdryers available which meant you didn't need to wait. Location is good, around 5-10 minute walk from the metro station but around a 40 minute walk from Gion. Rooms are very compact but to be expected for this price

The pillows were quite uncomfortable, but we didn’t raise this with staff so there may have been alternatives. The walls were also very thin so you could hear other guests closing doors or playing videos - fortunately, the air con acted as quite effective white noise. There was also little storage space but we expected this from the pod-style room.

Szkoda, że do prysznica trzeba zjechać kilka pięter windą. Bardzo małe okno w pokoju, z widokiem na ścianę budynku obok.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Very clean and tidy! Well maintained given that a lot of people come and go.
The other guests not following the rules. - I stayed on the 3rd floor and tourists staying there don’t follow the rule quiet time after 11pm. 12 am some guy was talking on the phone in the hallway. - Also, other ladies in the shower room did not take slippers off as stated on the sign. I wish I could complain to staff about this when it happened but no staff at night.

Coussin peu confortable. Couette très fine. Mal insonorisé.

Pokój bardzo mały, na suficie, tuż nad klimatyzacją było widać jakby zaczynała robić się tam pleśń

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026God beliggenhet i et rolig område. Rent og hyggelig. Fellesområdet er også veldig fint.
Til å være er hostel synes jeg prisene har blitt dyre. Det var også et minus at det ikke tilbys kaffe eller te. Fellesområdet stengte kl. 23. noe som er unødvendig da dette rommet ligger langt fra rommene.

Room was hot even with air conditioner at lowest temperature. We had to open the windows. More hangers/storage space would have been nice.

Nada mas llegar te quieren cobrar las tasas turisticas ( que esta bien) pero si le pides pagar con tarjeta te quieren cobrar un 5% extra, son muy caraduras

La stanza era veramente piccola per 4 persone, scomodo avere bagni e docce a 4 piani di distanza, le asciugatrici non hanno asciugato neanche una quota minima di vestiti dopo piu di un'ora

Reviewed Apr 16, 2026Staff cordiale e disponibile. La camera matrimoniale era molto pulita e abbastanza grande per aprire due valigie contemporaneamente. Molto accessoriato e comodo il bagno con vasca. L'hotel è in una posizione centrale, utile per raggiungere a piedi tutte le fermate del bus e con un konbini dietro l'angolo.
