Almost none of the staff speak English, Japanese only. Not a social hostel at all. Only family with early age kids, European teenage groups and elderly people with no common sense. There was a lady in my room making s lot of noise, slamming door, heating the room (in summer!!), speaking on the phone. I asked to be changed to another room and they said no. They agreed to cancel my last night but never sent the cancellation to booking. For sure, the worst time I had in Japan was staying there.

ベッドマットは柔らかすぎて体に悪い。枕が低いからもう一つ欲しいと言ったが出来ないと言われバスタオルも余分に提供するには200円必要と言われ、次回泊まるなら持参しなければならないが、マットが悪いので他の所も探してみます。

Pokoj jest mikroskopijny, same lozka i zadnej przestrzeni aby usiasc czy nawet bagaze rozlozyc. Sniadanie wliczone w cene ale tak naprawde to wystawiaja chleb tostowy, dwa dzemy i miod i to wszystko co na sniadanie jest. Lozka dosyc waskie ale jak caly pokoj zreszta.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026DİKKAT ! LÜTFEN AÇIKLAMAMI İYİ OKUYUN! Daha önce buradan daha az temiz ve konumu daha kötü yerlerde kaldım ama personel hep iyidi. Ve o mekanlara 4-5 puan verebilirsiniz çünkü personel saygılı. Sabah 7 de Kyotoya otobüs ile vardık. Saat 8:30 8:00 gibi ( sabah) otele vardık ve öncesinde valizimizi bırakabilmek için booking.com üzerinden konuştuk ve anlaştık. Hotele girdik fakat daha öncedende kötü yorum alan resepsiyon erkek çalışan bizede denk gelmiş. Fotoğrafınıda oradan aldım ki ; Gelecek müşteriler bilsin. Tokyodan otobüsle 10 saat yol geldiğimiz için ve odaya daha check in yapamayacağımızdan dolayı haliyle Eşim üstünü değiştirmek istedi ve personel WC nin müsait olduğunu belirtti ve 5 dakika bize süre verdi. Personelin tavırları ve Hareketleri zaten sevimsizdi ve eşim daha üstünü değiştirmeden gitmek istedi. Bende kendisini sakinleştirip WC de üst değiştirmesi için ikna ettim. Eşimden sonra bende üstümü değiştirdim , o esnada eşim ortak alanda saçını yapmaya başladı. ( biz zaten bir kaç saat sonra oraya check in yapacağız ve sırada bekleyen kimse yok.) orada 5-6 kişilik yer var ve kimse yok. Kimsenin sırasını almadık. Müsaitti ve eşim aynası olan ortak alanda saçını yapması üzerine bu personel sinirlendi ve derhal çıkamızı söyledi. Eşimde bu stres altında ağlamaya başladı, çünkü hem adam girip çıkıyor kontrol ediyor (rahatsızlık veriyor) hem ben tatsızlık çıkmaması adına eşime biraz hızlı olmasını istediğim için baskı kurulmuş hissetti ve ağlamaya başladı ve artık gerçekten başka yerde kalmak istedi . Onu tekrar sakinleştirdim çünkü bir gece için yeni bir yer bakmak zaman kaybı olacaktı . Sadece bir gece olduğu için yapılan saygısızlığı idare ettim. Personelin bu saygısız tutumu tüm günümüzü mahvetti. Çok saygısızca buldum sonuçta fiziksel bir hizmet veriyorsanız bunu karşı tarafada iyi yansıtmalısınız. Ben kendimde Airbnb işletmesi yaptım ve 12-13 daire idare ettim ortağımla beraber .

ベッドの隣が、ベッドルームの出入りのドアだったため、何回も、何回も、バタン！、バタン！ という大きい音と振動 に目が覚めたり、とても不快でした。

La chambre familiale avec 4 lits est confortable ( literie, oreiller, place dans la chambre) La salle de bains est très propre. Petit déjeuner avec différentes variétés de pain. Café, thé, beurre, confiture inclus dans la nuitée.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Room was simple, clean and spacous. Great locaiton and decent price. We were only there to sleep and were out exploring kyoto for most of the time so it was perfect for us.
The bunk-bed kreeked a little but if thats just me splitting hairs. I was a little skeptical about shared bathrooms but they were kept very clean.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Great breakfast! Relatively central and ok for the price you pay. Lockers for your backpacks were relatively big, bunk bed was ok. Washing machines / dryer downstairs for an ok price. I’d stay here again if I returned to Kyoto, based on the breakfast and bunk bed/ storage.
Wasn’t a big fan of the toilets, one of them was always rather unclean at all times.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026You have a very private pod with your own locker space as well in the room! I LOVED the shampoo and conditioner provided I wish I knew what brand it was!!! The bathrooms seemed well kept and it was nice having a hair dryer!
I missed breakfast but I heard it was only toast so kinda disappointing. You have to pay for disposable slippers and other small amenities so maybe back or buy before hand!

Colazione inclusa molto semplice ma molto apprezzata. Dormitorio misto con unità letto dotate di tutto il necessario. Complessivamente pernottamento più che piacevole e pienamente consigliato.

Extraordinarily good costumer service for example coin change, and completely organising a delivery for me with another hotel felt very taken care of by the lovely staff, changes to towels and toiletries daily, ice cold water on the second floor and a lift, very clean showers and toilets, can’t recommend enough!
Only thing to note is that on one of the days we had quite rowdy neighbours and the walls are quite thin, but that was the only thing

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Lo único que cambiaría es que el check in para las habitaciones compartidas deberia ser a más tardar a las 22hs. Me incomoda que llegara gente después de las 12 a la habitación e hiciera ruido.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Clean and quite modern but with 37 € per night for a dormitory bed a little bit to expensive for us. Dishes gets cleaned by the stuff and the service was better then in most other hostels, so the price is probably justified. Though for backpackers rather expensive

Reviewed May 26, 2026The breakfast was only toast and jam so wasn’t really a breakfast. The hostel was very clean and nice inside. The rooms and toilets were clean as well. They had dishes and pots to cook. The common areas was nice
The staff were a bit not friendly. I understand the staff needs to clean and prepare the other beds after checkout. But in all the hostel is stayed at I never experienced such disregard for other guests sleeping in the room. They cleaned the dorm room one morning and were extremely loud. Talking and laughing with each other at 10am. The moved my current to wake me and give me a clean towel. They left all the lights on and door open once they were done. I explored Kyoto during my last day after checkout when I came back to the hostel I grabbed my charger and tried to charge my phone in the lobby and they would not let me stay inside to charge my phone. All other hostel I’ve staid at are more than okay with you charging your phone in the lobby. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast just toast

Reviewed May 25, 20261.전체적으로 매우 깨끗하고 직원들이 부지런히 관리하는게 느껴졌다. 2.공용주방에 쓰던 그릇을 두면 바로 씻어 깨끗이 정리해준다. 3.필요한 시설이 세심하게 준비되어있다.(화장대 등)
조식이 비교적 부실하다. 여러 종류의 빵과 잼, 차 등이 다다.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Do quarto, da limpeza, da cama confortável, do banheiro super limpo, do salão de alimentação. Gostamos de tudo apesar do café ser simples estava maravilhoso.
Nada a declarar pois tudo foi excelente.

Reviewed May 20, 2026This is an excellent hostel in the heart of Kyoto, close to the train line. We walked up from Kyoto station. The rooms were neat and clean. The beds were super comfy, got a room with 4 beds , bunk bed style. The hotel staff was super nice as well. There is tea/coffee and breads server in the morning ( i would not call it breakfast :) ) . Nice coffee shop just down the road.
On a minor note, the room was really small and did not have enough hooks / shelves to put stuff. In such a small space, you really need to optimize every inch of space.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Is a good hostel, bed comfortable and with good space. A lot of toilet and shower very clean. Spacious kitchen, common area have a bit cold atmosphere. Breakfast is just from 7am to 9am. I recommend!

la conexión de wiffi es malísima y a pesar de que tienen dos señales mas, el personal se negó a facilitarme la contraseña de dichas señales.
