Excellent breakfast selection although it was in a location away from the Suites. Great location for the beach & port. Near to excellent restaurants.

The pool area was tiny. No facilities at all. No available sun beds. From memory I think there were 3 sun beds in total. Although a bar was advertised it was closed. There was a construction site outside the hotel which was very unsightly. The entrance was very underwhelming & it is in need of an overhaul.

David was so friendly and professional. Every day, he answered my questions and assisted me in some way. In fact, everyone was very warm and personable, including the housekeeping staff. The facilities were great!

Some of the chairs in the rooftop area were really uncomfortable. There were not enough sunbeds. No staff at the bar.

A localização é sesacional. Possível conhecer a região do Porto, Barceloneta e, ainda, o bairro Gótico a pé. O metrô está a 5 min. O quarto, embora voltado para uma rua movimentada, tinha isolamento acústico e era muito silencioso. Havia uma cozinha no quarto, com microondas, que foi muito útil. Quarto espaçoso, cama muito confortável. Vista linda da cobertura, onde tem uma piscina.

Nada demais. O quarto poderia ser um pouco mais bem iluminado. Poderia haver um espelho de corpo inteiro. Não tomei o café da mahã, mas, pelo que entendi, havia o inconveniente de ser em outro prédio.

The room was a bit tight, bed is too big for the room. I loved the location, area is not very clean especially late at night but I loved the small alleys and the vibe of the area. Breakfast was rich but in a different building, around 250 meters away. The breakfast serving staff were super friendly. The staff at the reception were very helpful and responsive

I would like more moving space in the double room, possibly by putting a smaller bed that fits 2 people.

The bed was not very comfortable for a tall person. Wish there was a supply of water bottles arranged by the hotel - especially for a short stay like mine was.

Nous avons bien aimé l'endroit où l'hôtel est situé par rapport à la ville de Barcelone. Le déjeuner style buffet à volonté, super excellent! Le personnel très accueillant et gentil! Nous recommandons Barcelone à visiter, un endroit magnifique avec tous les attraits touristiques, juste wowww!! 😀

There are lots of things that i liked. However, espacially location was absolutely perfect. We had a great view and we could reach almost everywhere.

The only thing that I didn’t like about was hygiene

An excellent choice for a stay in Barcelona, particularly if you want to be close to the waterfront while still having the historic center right outside your door. We found the hotel exceptionally clean and thoughtfully set up, and the rooftop is a fantastic place to cool off and take in the views after a day exploring the city. What really stood out was the neighborhood. There are countless restaurants, cafés and sights nearby, and getting around Barcelona from here is incredibly easy. Be sure to walk a couple of minutes over to Hotel Duquesa de Cardona as well. Their rooftop terrace is spectacular for dinner and cocktails, with gorgeous views and a great atmosphere. Chef Roberto was wonderful and the food was one of the highlights of our time in Barcelona. Between the setting, convenience and hospitality, this is a place we would gladly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Wonderful stay at Duquesa Suites! My wife and I only stayed for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and very well equipped, and the rooftop pool and bar were a definite highlight. A special thank you to Alejandra, who was absolutely fabulous and made our time on the rooftop especially enjoyable. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. We would happily stay again!

The hotel is at the centre of Barcelona. The staff are very helpful and friendly plus they speak English for non Spanish speakers. The hotel was clean, rituals toiletries was provided, clean beddings, towel and bathrobe.

They dont have breakfast facility on site but their sister hotel offers a buffet breakfast and this is also as amazing as they are.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment which was amazing. Terrace had insane views. Well equipped, comfortable and very quiet despite location. Location was great, right by port and gothic quarter. Pool area was very nice and clean. Staff very helpful.

Die Lage, auch wenn es direkt an der Hauptstraße lag und sehr laut war.

Der Pool auf dem Dach war sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Bilder auf Booking waren sehr schmeichelhaft. Es war auch nicht klar ersichtlich bei der Buchung, dass das Frühstück im Nachbarhotel ist.

The accommodation was clean and modern with comfortable beds and excellent shower facilities as well as complimentary shampoo/ conditioners/ body lotion . It was great to have a pool upstairs at the 6th floor with amazing views over the city Fabio who was our door man was fantastic, he helped us with everything we needed and was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable .

There was no kettle , there was a kitchenette but no pans which we wondered about

The hotel was amazing. Due to our toddler we asked for the room change, which they did charge free and without any questioning or complaint. The staff members were amazing, the food during breakfast fresh and variable enough. They were always super nice to our toddler. And the supet soft bath towels eere just the cherry on top! If the hotel is reading it and can reveal the brand of them I woulf be super greatful.

The Penthouse was lovely. Breakfast was great. Location was perfect for vacation - attractions, beaches, restaurants and more. The staff was friendly and helpful.

TVs did not work well for streaming. Had an issue with A/C one day and the rooftop bar was closed. Could have used modern charging areas for phones and devices.

Nothing, we’ve moved to the hotel.

Aircon didn’t work, it was smelly and grim. Tiny room, tiny bathroom.

We wanted to be close to the activities for Sant Joan festival, so chose this spot. We could walk to the beach, had a lovely view of the harbor. Very short walk to Las Rambles, the Cathedral, etc. Location was great, rooms were clean, staff friendly.

La décoration de la chambre est soignée et agréable. Le coin kitchenette permet de rester dans l’appartement pour les repas. L’hôtel a ce bon temps, accepté de nous changer de chambre pour la deuxième nuit, mais nous étions quand même bien fatigués par cette nuit-là. La petite piscine au Rooftop est agréable si il n’y a pas d’enfants. Le petit déjeuner présente un large choix au buffet.

L’hôtel est très bruyant. Nous avons été beaucoup dérangé par le bruit des passants dans la nuit, par les livraisons et passage de voitures. Je n’avais pas compris que l’hôtel est est divisé en deux bâtiments. L’accueil du bâtiment où on se trouvait était triste et peu accueillant.Je cherchais à avoir plus une ambiance chambre avec un service hôtelier dans le même bâtiment. D’ailleurs, l’accueil du bâtiment principal était beaucoup plus agréable. Ce n’est pas négligeable. Nous étions donc obligés de changer de bâtiment pour aller prendre le petit déjeuner du matin dans l’hôtel principal qui se trouve à cinq minutes à pied maximum. La salle de petit déjeuner est dépourvu de lumière naturelle, ce qui est un peu triste de bon matin.

The property is located very centric, the room view was great and the size good enough for 3 people. The beds were comfortable ok. I did not try the food. The bathrobes were a good touch.

The room temperature felt very hot despite AC, even though the mattress was kind of comfortable I did not sleep well, and don’t get me wrong it’s not that I’m spoiled, but for the cost of one of those rooms you expect at least a good temperature in the room. The bathroom was small.

Location was great, the hotel did not live up to the expectation of the images shown when booking, the pool area was closed and the bar was closed to, and we were told upon arrived we have to go to there sister hotel to use facilities and have breakfast. the hotel was under construction when arrived and the reception was small and uninviting.

Great location, nice view of Port Vell on terrace with swimming pool. Comfortable apartment, excellent towels and bed linen. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. A varied breakfast at the hotel just around the corner. Downstairs is a good restaurant with very tasty paella and great sangria.

Nous n'avons pas été prévenu des travaux qui sont en plus de taille donc pas accès par l'entrée principale (murée), ça changé l'accueil, mais par une porte de service, échafaudage devant notre fenêtre et aucun service sur le roof top de l'hôtel...

There was some construction work on site that was a bit noisy, and there was no sign for the hotel on the front main road that made it difficult to locate it when first arrived!

Anna allowed us to select a room which was larger than the 2 originally shown. This was a huge help for us as we have a child with allergies and cook and do spend time in the room.

The kitchen was very small and it would helpful to have a few more cooking utensils/ pots and pans.

So pleased with our stay. The room was large and comfortable, very clean with modern amenities. Staff were lovely, accommodating and quick to help. A very nice breakfast buffet is offered just a few minutes walk at their sister hotel. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot.

Ideal set up for a family of 4 - our girls had a single bed each in the lounge. Kitchen facilities allow for self catering as required. Location was fantastic for exploring all key sites in Barcelona on foot or by bus, and close to copious Waters edge restaurants as well as eateries in all of the winding streets. Rooftop pool is shallow which is ideal for the kids to play and cool down safely - quiet in May due to the rooftop bar not yet being open. The suite was cleaned daily, it was great having clean dry towels and bed refreshed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Access to the gym and alternative rooftop pool of the sister hotel was a bonus.

We needed to ask for pool towels, but in the meantime used the towelling dressing gowns available in our suite. As the suites only have Juliette style balconies, there was nowhere to sit out of an evening whilst the children were in bed, or to dry wet towels/swim costumes.

Really loved the location next to Barceloneta and Gothic Quarter, easily accessible and staff were great. Room was very spacious and perfect for us.

Not a huge downer but the bar on the rooftop wasn’t open as of May 2026! Hope they open soon it would have been amazing.

Very friendly staff, a delicious and varied breakfast, comfortable beds, and a clean room with a small balcony. The hotel location exceeded our expectations — many attractions were within walking distance, as well as the promenade and the beach. There is also a beautiful rooftop terrace with an amazing view and a swimming pool. Special thanks for the lovely compliment from the hotel — a bottle of wine. Definitely recommend this hotel!

L'hôtel est super central donc naturellement il va être légèrement bruyant jusqu'à au moins minuit après c'est plus calme La piscine est peu profonde donc idéale pour des enfants mais un adulte peu difficilement nager dedans.
