Room a little worn out, the wallpaper started peeling, tiles in the bathroom started to stain and yellowing. Light switch doesn’t match the light, there are switch that doesn’t connect to any light, and light with no switch. Sanitary in the bathroom could use a refresh as well, water temperature not stable. We can hear the traffic clearly from the room, even in late hours with motorcycle racing in the street in front of the hotel. The window could use a better sound proofing Staff service was great, appreciate the front desk staff who brought my food delivery up to the room, great hospitality from all staff in the hotel.

My stay at this hotel to celebrate my child's 3rd birthday was truly wonderful. As always, the hotel surprised us with a "Happy Birthday" message on the mirror and a mini cake. The children's facilities were decent, although the outdoor area is quite limited and most of the activities are indoors. During our stay, however, the swimming pool water was rather dirty, and there were no staff available to provide towels. As a result, my child ended up enjoying the bathtub in our room more than the pool. One thing I really appreciated was the mini playground located next to the restaurant. It was very convenient because my husband and I could take turns watching our child while enjoying our breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the selection was varied, and the overall quality was excellent. Our room was also very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. In addition, every member of the hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff at front counter, spa and restaurant were polite and helpful.

The towels and packed amenities were old - they do not match the overall upscale design of the bathroom. Secondly, there's a hygiene problem in Mangan restaurant where they serve breakfast. It is observed that the table mats were not changed after previous guests left - new utensils were place on top of the used mats.

Nice hotel. Get, at least, a junior suite. The lounge is very comfortable and you get access to that with any room that's junior suite or above. Service was good. Very friendly staff. I didn't particularly like their Long Island at the Italian restaurant but their dry aged beef was pretty tasty. Just ask beforehand what sauces they offer because I didn't particularly care for the sauce they gave me. But, the beef was good enough that it didn't need any sauce. Checkout was very fast. I'll go there again at some point. Solid place and unique layout. Pretty cool. Cheers.

Everything was awesome include chinese restaurant food, with spacious and comfort room. But The bad things are like shower water too slow/bit and pool was dirty.. The pool I think need to be cleaned every day.

Our stay at JHL was fine—until the moment we checked out. This is our 2nd stay While waiting for our clothes we accidentally left in the room for the kind staff to bring over for us and with our Grab driver waiting at the lobby, we witnessed an extremely disturbing scene, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND VERY NOT WELCOMING AT ALL! A man aggressively chased our driver away, knocked on his car and shouted both at him and the hotel staff. It was chaotic, unprofessional, and honestly quite intimidating as a guest about to leave the property. Our driver was forced to cancel the ride to avoid confrontation with the guy. And we are being charged with the fee. What made this worse was that the staff appeared completely unable to handle the situation. There was no attempt to properly manage or protect the guest experience. To our shock, we later found out that the individual involved was the hotel owner himself. This completely ruined what could have been a decent stay. No guest should feel unsafe or UNWELCOME.... especially at the point of departure. For a hotel of this level, this kind of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. Would not return.

Surrounded by restaurants, sports (padel, golf, etc). Great mall is less than 2 KM. Amazing warmest hospitality, especially from the Guest Relations Officer (Angely, Shakira, Chesqua & other staffs). The room is so nice with bathtub & coffee machine in every room. 👍

Solo staycation in Gading Serpong

I stayed here with my husband and son during Ramadan to celebrate my son's 4th birthday. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and treated us with the same respect as anyone else, even though I booked at a discounted rate. All our requests were handled well. The food was delicious, and they even provided complimentary snacks in the room. The hotel design is unique, and I have no complaints. The only thing that could be improved is the bed—it squeaked every time we moved. Other than that, everything was great!

One of the best hotel that i've ever stayed

Came here thinking it’d be a quick staycation — ended up feeling like I actually escaped Jakarta for a bit. From the moment I walked into JHL Solitaire Serpong, everything felt calm and put together. The lobby smells amazing (important), staff were warm and attentive without being overwhelming, and check-in was smooth. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The bed? Dangerous. Very easy to lose track of time and cancel plans. Everything felt well thought out, from the layout to the little details. Lounge access was a big plus — snacks, drinks, and a quiet space to just chill or get some work done. The spa was exactly what I needed: relaxing, not rushed, and genuinely helped me reset. The gym deserves a mention too — complete equipment, clean, and actually enjoyable to work out in (which doesn’t always happen in hotels). Morning gym sessions here? Yes. Dinner at Royal Eight Chinese Dining was a highlight. Elegant but not intimidating, great flavors, beautiful plating — modern Chinese dining done right. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of variety — fresh stations, plenty of options, and everything felt nicely organized without being chaotic. Pool time at sunset was peaceful, and overall the stay felt intentional, comfortable, and genuinely relaxing — not flashy, not trying too hard. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious. So many options to choose from. The room itself was exquisite and very comfortable. The service we received was amazing and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely loved the spa. Definitely worth it to stay here!

The only thing that I can think of was that there was a bit of a smell coming from the shower drain in the bathroom. They might want to consider cleaning the drain at some point but everything else was lovely.

Room and location are OK.

The way of communication between travel agent and hotel is so bad. Just easy issue cannot be solved by both parties. It is just a document issue, which is not a big or difficult requirement. I did not request the tax invoice but just folio, which I have to use for expenses claim in other country not in Indonesia. So, just a folio indicate room rate and detail of stay.

There is literally nothing negative i could say about my stay here. Expensive but not overpriced. Super accommodating and high quality in everything. I lied, the one negative is if you want to go to jakarta then its a time commitment

I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The main issue was the service, especially regarding my request for a late checkout. I politely asked for an extension until 12:30 PM for a legitimate reason (to perform Salah before lunch), but the request was declined without flexibility or understanding. For a hotel that claims to offer hospitality and guest comfort, this felt unreasonable and unaccommodating. A simple extra 30 minutes should not be difficult, especially when the request relates to a basic personal need. Because of this, my stay felt uncomfortable and not guest-focused. I would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of courtesy and service mindset. Hospitality is not only about the room, but how guests are treated — and in this case, it was disappointing.

Stay here for two night. The service are excellent from the front til back of the house 10/10! ***** Coming back next time for sure.

everything is nearly perfect, I like the swimming pool, the close time is more than 10pm. And there are lots of restaurants near the hotel, and no need to go outside.

breakfast can be more diversities and the quality can be better. the coffee is strong and tasty. I like the bread and fresh fruit juice. If there are some beef, it would be much better.

Cierran restaurantes del hotel para eventos. Estás allí hospedado y no puedes disfrutar de todo lo que ofertan porque lo dejan para celebraciones privadas. Además, a penas pude dormir, estuvieron toda la noche "montando algo" en el piso superior y no pararon de dar martillazos durante la noche. Las habitaciones están muy mal insonorizadas, pese a haber estado en el piso 13 se escuchaba el ruido del tráfico (que por cierto en Yakarta nunca para) perfectamente. Entre el tráfico y los martillazos no pude descansar, y si en un hotel (que es para dormir) no puedes descansar, se merece una mala puntuación, al menos para mí. Ni usando los tapones que por cierto, por algo será que te los dejan gratuitamente en la mesita de noche, pude pegar ojo. En el check out comenté el problema que tuve, y sólo supieron decirme que lo sentían, no tuvieron ni el más mínimo detalle para compensar.

Het hotel heeft een mooi futuristisch design van buiten en binnen was het super chique afgewerkt. Prachtige versieringen en een fantastische marmeren vloer. Het heeft een hele mooie bar. Helaas was het daar erg rustig, maar misschien was niet iedereen ervan op de hoogte. Goed eten. We hadden een suite die super mooi en groot was. Ook goede service van en naar het vliegveld.

It's a good staycation with JHS, as far as it goes. From the room, services, foods and all — none of them has disappoint my trip. I hope that JHS could develop something better as additions to their business!

The room does not represent the beautiful entrance of this hotel . The bathroom is small and confined , no space to put your toiletries. Showerhead in the ceiling was leaking , water flow form shower shifting from boiling hot to cold water and not at a constant current

The breakfast during the week has a huge variety - and while that is nice nice , the freshness of it all cannot be guaranteed. Too much variety , better would be less variety but fresh products , for instance the pastries were dried out completely. Also the table cloths had stains and crumbs all over the table , as if it was not cleaned form previous guests

De medewerkers waren allemaal erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Erg behulpzaam en zeer pro-actief Ontbijt was super en heel erg uitgebreid. Wederom was de bediening subliem

De Kids Spa was heel erg vies en verouderd. Vloer had gaten en was overal versleten en beschimmeld. We hadden dit hotel juist daarom geboekt maar helaas wilden wij onze kinderen niet laten spelen in deze toestand van de kids spa.

Ontbijt was heerlijk en het personeel was erg vriendelijk

Op de foto’s van booking staan er pilates apparatuur waar mijn vrouw op had gehoopt. Maar dit is niet meer aanwezig en is dus erg misleidend. Daarnaast was de kids spa vies en het zwembad heel koud.

Quality has gone down since my last stay which was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, the room was not clean (hair strains in bathroom AND bed). It was late at night and I requested a different room but was informed that the hotel was fully booked. I had to wait in the lobby while the room was cleaned. A breakfast voucher was offered but it did not adequately compensate for the inconvenience.

Staying at JHL Solitaire truly felt like an all in one luxury experience. The hotel has everything you need cafés, multiple restaurants, and bars serving a wide range of food and drinks. I booked the Luxury Room, and it was absolutely stunning super elegant, spacious, and fragrant. One of my favorite parts was exploring the Deck area, with its beautiful koi pond and pool. Although I didn’t get a chance to swim, just being there was already relaxing and serene. The bathroom was especially memorable beautifully designed, clean, and luxurious. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that left me with warm memories. I would definitely come back again!
