Surya Kembar Villas

We had a wonderful stay at Surya Kembar Villas in our honey moon. The villa was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, surrounded by nature and with a peaceful atmosphere that made it perfect for relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The location is great if you want to explore Ubud while staying somewhere quiet and away from the busy streets. The pool and the surroundings were definitely one of our favourite parts of the stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Surya Kembar Villas to anyone visiting Bali! Love you

Everything was perfect - the staff was so warm and welcoming, the villa was stunning and huge, the area was perfect; not in the crazy central area of Ubud, but only a short scooter ride away (plus there was plenty nearby so you didn't even need to go into the centre!)

Magnifique, très discret, au calme, très qualitatif. Restaurant excellent un des meilleurs de Bali ! Abonnement à la salle très pratique, mais attention la salle est vraiment pour les touristes … mais elle a le mérite d’être là ! Chambre qui donne sur la rivière splendide. Personnel très aidant et gentil ! Agathe a pu planter du riz dans la rizière intérieure au « jardin » : c’était génial … Nous avons aimé nos moments ici… merci!

Laundry service un peu cher

The pictures simply don’t do justice to how beautiful Surya Kembar Villas really is. The property feels like a small Balinese village hidden in the middle of lush tropical nature, with rice fields running through the grounds, beautiful water features, koi ponds and gardens everywhere. There are so many little corners to discover that the whole place feels incredibly peaceful and special. Our river-view room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. I also really appreciated having two different swimming pools, including a shallower one surrounded by lovely areas where you can simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. Another unexpected highlight was the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, but we also ate other meals there and the quality of the food could easily compete with many of the restaurants we tried in Ubud. The entire staff was exceptional. From the restaurant team and reception to housekeeping, everyone was genuinely kind, smiling, attentive and always ready to help. I also had to work during part of our stay and found the property surprisingly perfect for that too. There are plenty of quiet areas with tables, comfortable seating and power outlets, so I could easily find a beautiful spot to sit with my laptop while surrounded by nature. A truly special place where the setting, hospitality, cleanliness and food all come together beautifully. Absolutely amazing, we would happily come back.

That I stayed only for two nights

We had an amazing stay. Super clean villa, clear pool, delicious breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Excellent location with lots of local restaurants and cozy cafes nearby. (Common sense, Waybu, 25PM coffee). Only 30 minutes by Grab car to central Ubud. We also enjoyed the Titi Batu clubs fitness and restaurant. Kids corner needs a little improvement. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the peace of Bali.

Lo staff è sempre disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo chiamato la reception per una emergenza medica e ci hanno mandato subito un dottore in camera. La piscina comune è molto bella anche se non troppo grande. Stare in mezzo a tutto a quel verde è bellissimo, anche se con qualche geco di troppo. La struttura ha anche al suo interno un ristorante di cucina tipica indonesiana.

La colazione alla carta il tasto dolente. Buoni per i primi due giorni poi diventa un po troppo ripetitivi per la poca scelta di colazione dolce. La pulizia all'interno della villa non è il massimo, la nostra porta non era molto isolata e gli insetti potevano entrare.

Le logement était magnifique, le personnel adorable et au petits soins. Restaurant excellent.

The staff were incredible! The villa was clean and the service was extremely quick and helpful. Really enjoyed our afternoons by the pool and restaurant. Would highly recommend if you are travelling to Ubud!!!

El alojamiento calidad-precio es perfecto. Esta todo nuevo, en medio de la naturaleza. En moto a 10 minutos del centro de Ubud (contando el trafico). El desayuno buenisimo y las instalaciones bonitas. Cama muy comoda y cada cabaña tiene su espacio e intimidad. La verdad que recomendable si no quieres el caos de Ubud.

Las instalaciones son espectaculares, tanto la villa, como el jardín y la piscina. El trato del personal es muy amable también. El servicio de masaje fue muy bueno.

Las comidas no indicaban de antemano los impuestos aplicables, pero entiendo que esto es una cosa de todo Bali.

La camera, enorme, curatissima.

The hotel surroundings are very nice and full of nature. The Living room and main room was very spacious and the bathroom is very cosy and Bali style. Breakfast is alla carte, but many options and very good. They can also accomodate for earlier breakfast if you have a tour or a flight.

Not suitable for small children, as the pool is 1.8 m deep so impossible to even carry them inside. The outside chairs were full of ants and the deck wooden table needs maintenance, as many were losen or broken.

Best place we have stayed in. Very friendly staff, nice restaurant. Great driver. Quiet place in busy Ubud.

Lovely service, great hidden location. Lovely and quiet, surprisingly lots or nice places to eat and have massages locally as well as the resort itself! Great driver his half day tour well worth it!

Takes quite a while to get into Ubud

Alle waren sehr freundlich. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Sehr schön angelegter Dschungelgarten. Die Villa im balinesischen Stil ist für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern ideal.

Amazing villas in Mas, very close to Ubud but far enough from pollution and noise, so a very good starting point for visiting around Bali. Villas are wonderful and spacious, having all the facilities. Loved it.

Surya Kember is such a beautiful oasis it is hard to imagine what it is like, even from the pictures. Our villa was huge with plenty of space including our own pool. The staff were brilliant, organising a driver for us for a day of sightseeing and sorting our transfers to and from the villa. The breakfast was amazing as well.

Surya Kember is quite a long way from the centre of Ubud but there is a shuttle bus.

Très bon hôtel avec un personnel adorable ! L’hôtel est bien situé, les chambres sont superbes et spacieuses… avec des lits immenses.

Les petits amis rampants qui s’invitent mais c’est le lot de la Nature ! Ils sont inoffensifs. Et pas de rideaux occultants, ça donne des réveils à 6h30 pour les enfants 😅 mais c’est vraiment des détails ! Le reste était parfait !

Had a great stay! The whole team was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was really good. It was great being able to eat by the pool, and the villa was clean, comfortable and peaceful. I also enjoyed an in-room massage, plus the village tour and Saturday morning purification experience, which were both highlights. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Nos habria gustado mas desayuno tipo buffet. Todo estaba muy rico pero si querías tomar un segundo café tenías que pagarlo. Algo ruidoso el AC de la habitación y con el clima de Bali es necesario arrancado para dormir.

Stayed at the excellent Golden Moon Villa (part of Surya Kembar) which is perfect for a family of 4. Fantastic private pool and villa facilities. Friendly staff. Restaurant à la carte breakfasts were very nice with variety of options. Free use of facilities at Titi Batu Ubud club (gym, pool, games area). Location is in a quiet part of Ubud with a few cafes but a little far from the central area of Ubud (though they provide a free shuttle several times a day)

It is such beautiful grounds, with rice fields and lovely greenery all the way from the lobby to your villa. Gorgeous pools to swim on ground and stunning facilities at the titi batu club next door. Staff could not be lovelier or more helpful and I miss them already. They have things like free shuttle to ubud town centre 3x a day and private massage as well as activities you can sign up for at the villa. It is about 20 mins (longer with traffic) to the centre but I liked that bc it wasn’t as busy and felt a little “tucked away” from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful for those looking to recharge

Breakfast could have been better. Small buffet options with no guard to keep flies away, made it slightly unappealing. You can also order hot food à la carte (all included in free breakfast) which was hit and miss Rooms are gorgeous but a touch dated and the towels had seen better days. Rooms are surrounded by windows allowing you to gaze at nature while you wake, but does mean you have to draw curtains to get some privacy

Beautiful boutique hotel and villas. Love the attention to detail and level of service provided. Tuesday was the best room. Very quite. Breakfast as alacarte and prepared with care. The barista made exceptional coffee. The pools were right size with cabanas amidst rice fields. We will definitely be back.

The rooms have glass on 3 sides with a lot of light pouring in at night. Pillows were a bit hard. Need doors on toilet.

Beautiful. It would be even better if there were some signs of healthy animal life. Ubud is distressing with so many dogs and cats unwell. I would love to see a Surya dog and cat to welcome me back and know that they were being properly cared for by Surya

Die Sauberkeit auf dem Balkon hätte noch etwas besser sein dürfen, war aber völlig ok.

We loved Surya Kembar. Fantastic setup - spacious and ohhhh so luxurious. Nanada was fabulous. Location is about 20min from the centre, however, the shuttle or Grab works perfectly. Great restaurant on the premises. We'll be back!

We stayed in Surya Kembar for 5 days. This was our first experience in Bali and Ubud did not disappoint. The service was absolutely outstanding- staff went above and beyond. A level of service I have never experienced before. Daily housekeeping was great. The restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was outstanding. The attention to detail and our comfort level was apparent. Laundry could be organised. Drinks available by the pool. So incredibly well priced! There was a kindness towards the local animals which we loved and a chill calm atmosphere. We stayed at a luxury escapes resort in Uluwatu after our stay at Surya Kembar and we thought Surya Kembar was so much better. The privacy, sounds of nature, the quiet dining and spectacular staff. The best stay we could have asked for. Thank you to the wonderful staff- you made the stay what it was.

The staff were exceptional, extremely helpful and pleasant. The landscaped environment was gorgeous and incredibly peaceful. My room (Sunday)was spacious and comfortable. The pool and seating area located outside the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The reception staff ( Dewi and colleagues) were attentive,friendly and informative. Their English was excellent. The restaurant staff were also lovely.Incredible value.

La villa avec la piscine était très agréable et confortable. Le lieu est très bien placé pour nous, pas trop loin du centre ville mais au calme. Les activités proposées par l’établissement sont très sympa. Le centre d’activité Titi Batu est très proche et est bien aménagé. Il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter à proximité.

Rien Notez juste que la villa est une maison balinaise, les chambres ne communiquent pas et donnent sur la piscine. Nous étions avec nos adolescents qui étaient ravis! Si vous voyagez avec des enfants en bas âge, ce n’est pas l’idéal mais l’hôtel a peut-être d’autres chose à proposer. Je recommanderai de les contacter.

This property was fantastic. It was clean. It was beautiful very good value for the price and also breakfast included was very impressive.

I stayed here for seven days and I would’ve loved for the bedsheets to be changed every second or third day as previous villas have done

Peaceful location and atmosphere, many plants and greenery, rice fields, food at the restaurant, surprise decorations for anniversary and celebration at the restaurant, free shuttle to Ubud, swimming pool.

All was perfect.

The use of the Health club near by, the staff were nice and helpful, the atmosphere was great- of being in a jungle.

Breakfast- was limited choich, hot water stopped working twice (fixed immidietly by staff), accessability while raining was difficult.

Staffs are really nice and helpful and always smiling. Rooms and everything are clean, no dirt was spotted. We liked their restaurant very much, they can make quite decent coffees, I had a piccolo for every breakfast. The view was nice and food was delicious.

Only one thing made our stay not quite perfect was that the pillows in the twin beds room weren’t comfortable, the small ones were too soft and the big ones were too high.
