The location was gorgeous with our harbor views, and hotel decor is so fitting, staff was so friendly and helpful as well as accommodating.

Prachtig hotel, mooie uitstraling en prachtig interieur. Ontzettend aardig personeel! Vooral de receptie was heel vriendelijk! De ligging is top, heel veel restaurants op loopafstand en het Cala Marçal strand op 5 min met de auto! Een drankje savonds buiten (in het raam bankje) met uitzicht op zee was perfect!

Alleen een Tip: misschien iets meer personeel bij het ontbijt! De dames hadden geen tijd om bij je aan tafel te komen om koffie/ thee of iets van de menu kaart op te nemen. Je moest zelf naar iemand toe om het door te geven. En dan werd het vaak vergeten omdat de meiden het erg druk hadden met tafels afruimen en uitserveren. De bakken waren vaak leeg, er werd vaak te laat aangevuld! Dat vind ik jammer. Verder een top hotel!!!

Sehr freundliches Personal, bequeme Betten, hervorragendes a la carte Frühstück. Beste Crêpes und Eierspeisen, die wir in einem Hotel bekommen haben. Regendusche.

Die Standard Zimmer sind recht klein. Die Tür zur Toilette ist nicht abschließend. Zimmer zur Seite in Richtung einer Mauer. Liegen wurden teilweise schon beim Frühstück „reserviert“, sollte unterbunden werden.

De view in de kamer met zeezicht was een hoogtepuntje van mijn reisje naar mallorca! Mooie locatie van het hotel. Verblijf was gerieflijk. Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Ontbijt was ok, niet top, maar ok. Bed in kamer met jacuzzi was zalig, in kamer met zeezicht harde matras (niet zo goed geslapen helaas). Ouders verbleven in een andere kamer (op de begane grond), vonden het hier vochtig aanvoelen (de matras).

Ein tolles 5-Sterne-Hotel in Portocolom. Sehr schöne Zimmer im Boho-Style. Das Frühstück ist klasse, teils in Buffetform mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Kaffeegetränke, Eierspeisen (inc. Egg-Benedict) oder leckere Crepes werden kostenfrei an den Tisch gebracht. PS: Selten so einen freundlichen und charmanten Hotelmanager erlebt, obendrein ist er sehr witzig und charmant. @ Dominique: Weiter so, TOP!

Bardzo ładny butikowy hote w cichej lokalizacji a zarazem bardzo blisko do restauracji. Świetny i czysty basen do dyspozycji tak naprawdę całą dobę, pokoje duże i wygodne, smaczne różnorodne jedzenie więc każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Obsługa w hotelu bardzo miła i na wysokim poziomie. Polecam w 100% :)

In un hotel a 5 stelle, l’acqua nel frigo bar dovrebbe essere gratuita per tutto il soggiorno (non solamente una bottiglia per il primo giorno). Il frigo bar praticamente non raffreddava niente.

First bad experience is ants everywhere in the room. Second bad experience toilets smelled very bad. Third bad experience no water added each day. Which we had to buy a bottle of water for 9€ 4€ cost + 5€ service, or we had to go out to buy water which is not possible when everyone is closed. Forth bad experience, the AC does not go below 22 and we were sweating in the room Fifth bad experience several time we call reception requesting something, they say they will do and they don’t.

Ich habe noch nie ein besseres Frühstück gehabt. Frischen Kaffee, frische Eierspeisen, eine riesige Auswahl für das morgendliche Müsli. Der Stil vom Hotel ist stylisch und gibt einen den totalen Urlaubsvibe. Das Personal ist absolut zuvorkommend und super nett.

An excellent hotel with caring staff and general manager. Great location. Great breakfast. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 out of 5 for its price point is that there were a lot of todlers and parents taking space in the smallish pool and since we don’t have children we found it a bit noisy and difficult to swim. Room overlooking the sea was well worth the extra cost.

Rather hard to write a review on this hotel as we went with such high expectations...it was the number one hotel in Mallorca as per a major national newspaper's leisure team. Frankly, we have been to many better in Mallorca but that is not the fault of Barefoot and there is little this hotel is doing wrong. Indeed the staff were absolutely superb. We had a room overlooking the sea. There are only a handful of these as they are in a separate annex, across the road from the main hotel, the main restaurant is also on the ground floor of this building. The room itself was fine and the balcony view well worth it. The bed was standard double which was not particularly comfortable whilst the bed sheets seemed to be made from Linen and were not of good quality. The "main" hotel building is modern and focussed around the pool. The pool, breakfast restaurant and bar were all good (although the food menu for lunch was desperately unappealing, breakfast was good though). Sadly there is no view of any sort from the pool area, you could be anywhere in the World and the location of the hotel is therefore mixed between being near the sea but not being able to see it but being near to lots of restaurants in the Port which certainly helps. One important note, there is a lot of building work taking place around the Port and this was notable from our room and on all walks. There is also a major building renovation taking place right next to the hotel. Conclusion - from a value for money point of view it just about stacks up...but there are many hotels in Mallorca I would place ahead of Barefoot.

Personne ne parle français ! à part le directeur, par ailleurs très sympathique. Mais bon, l'anglais permet de se débrouiller, comme partout !

The hotel was extremely clean. Most of the staff were friendly. Portocolom was lovely.

The rooms are air-conditioned but the temperature is fixed at 22°C, which didn't feel cool enough for us, particularly during the warmer weather. The fridge in the room also didn't seem to keep drinks or food properly chilled. The breakfast was fairly basic, and the same could be said for the pool menu and restaurant. On Sundays, when the restaurant is closed, there aren't many dining options available at the hotel, so you really need to head out if you want more choice. There is no room service menu. Another downside was the pool area. There simply aren't enough sunbeds for the number of guests, so unless you're there when the pool opens, it's very unlikely you'll get one.

My husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay in this lovely hotel in June. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel has a very relaxed and chilled out vide. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated and had a super comfy bed. We used the outdoor pool and checked out the Spa but did not use it. Maybe next time! The breakfast exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with the choice and quality of the food on offer. We ate at the hotel on one occasion and chose the Sole which was very tasty. Another evening we ate in a nearby restaurant which was lovely too. The area is very beautiful and not too busy. We chose to stay at the Barefoot for a short break as it is near to some very nice beaches and somewhere that is great for walks when a little cooler. We plan to return in a cooler season!

It was not really as advertised. We were led to believe this would be a tranquil retreat; in fact it was more geared up to 20/30 year olds staying for a few nights, not using it as a destination. Having said that, all staff were professional. Food was good.

Probably this is a hotelsthat will stand out as one of the best for me. Absolutely loved it. Beautiful decor, high quality, fabulous staff and very good restaurant.

Very nice small hotel, nice design throughout, competent staff and good breakfast. They have a courtyard with a pool and limited sun lounger space, and on the other side of the road a restaurant and bar where you can sit and look at the harbour. All very nicely done. Good value for money as well.

Just be aware that there not much going on in the village, which is rather quiet and uninspiring. Very nice little beach on the other side of the bay with excellent beach restaurant (S’Areal Portocolom)

El hotel era súper bonito y con estética impecable pero en cambio hicieron una fiesta latina , que no pegaba nada con la estética del hotel … poniendo copas a 10 euros con botella de 2 litros , en un hotel de 5 estrellas , y cogiendo tickets como si fuera un festival . Por otro lado a la hora de hacer el check in nos dijeron. Que si estaba antes la habitación nos llamarían, y llegamos a la 15:00 a las hora que están las habitación listas y ya estaba lista y no nos habían llamado . Los baños de la piscina las puerta son de pladur , y una de ellas no cierra , esos fallos no los puede tener un hotel de 5 estrellas .

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist wunderschön, stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, mit einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre. Der herzliche und aufmerksame Empfang hat uns direkt begeistert. Besonders gefallen haben uns das tolle Ambiente, das leckere Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und das unglaublich gemütliche Bett mit der schönen Leinenbettwäsche. Auch die Nähe zu den traumhaften Stränden ist ein großes Plus. Für uns hat einfach alles gepasst – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It's very beautiful and the staff are really lovely - so warm and welcoming with particular credit to Yael, Tatiana and Christian, and of course the manager Dominic. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful and relaxed, even when the hotel was busy. The room was lovely and very stylish. Very comfortable bed and extras pillows provided on request. The pool is a decent size for a swim, there are plenty of loungers (at least there are in June) and each day after breakfast is cleared these magic buzzers are delivered round the poolside by the staff, so you don't even need to shift yourself to summon a cocktail. Now that's a relaxing holiday! There are a good few restaurants a few minutes walk away (our recommendation would be Sa Llotja) , but Portocolom is quite a small town with no bar scene and few shops. If you are staying for a week or more, I'd recommend hiring a car for at least part of the week so you can venture further afield if you fancy a change of scene All in all a lovely week and many thanks to the Barefoot team

Erinomainen aamiainen, ystävällinen palvelu ja upea satamamaisema huoneesta. Rauhallinen tunnelma ja runsaasti pysäköintimahdollisuuksia. Rauhallinen allasalue ja rento meininki.

Hotellin ravintola ei oikein onnistunut illallisella. Hotellin taso ja majoituksen hinta eivät ihan kohdanneet.

Lovely friendly staff , beautiful room, beautiful pool area

Das Service Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Adrian und Jaime haben uns alle Wünsche erfüllt und sich von a-z um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns entschlossen zu verlängern und konnten direkt nach dem auschecken bereits ins neue Zimmer, ohne noch bis zur regulären Check-in Zeit zu warten. Noch dazu haben wir dann ein Upgrade in ein wunderschönes großes Zimmer mit Meerblick bekommen. Das Frühstück ist super lecker und sehr vielseitig. Der Pool ist schön groß und besonders hervorzuheben ist das Service- und Pool Personal. Den ganzen Tag ist es möglich, etwas per Knopfdruck zu bestellen und in brütender Hitze ist immer ein Life Guard vor Ort. Der Hotel Manager ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und umtriebig. Am ersten Abend haben wir zur Saison Eröffnung einen Sänger mit Programm auf der Topf Top Terrasse genießen können.

Als kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: mehr Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool. Noch ist keine Hochsaison und trotzdem war recht früh alles voll und nicht für alle Personen waren liegemöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Lage des Hotels. Dennoch können wir aufgrund der hygienischen Mängel und des mangelhaften Umgangs mit unseren Reklamationen keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Leider eine grosse Enttäuschung und keinesfalls das, was wir von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwartet haben. Bereits bei der Ankunft fielen zahlreiche Mängel im Zimmer auf: starke Kalkablagerungen an den Armaturen, Schimmel und Schmutz in der Dusche, beschädigte Wände sowie ein tropfender Wasserhahn, der selbst nachts hörbar war. Besonders problematisch war jedoch die Hygienesituation. Wir fanden eine Kakerlake in unserem Badezimmer und meldeten dies umgehend an der Rezeption. Leider erfolgte zunächst keine angemessene Reaktion. In derselben Nacht fanden wir mindestens zwei weitere Kakerlaken im Zimmer. Erst nach wiederholten Beschwerden wurde uns gegen 03:00 Uhr morgens ein anderes Zimmer gegeben und das nur, weil wir darauf bestanden haben. Ein nächtlicher Zimmerwechsel aufgrund von Kakerlaken ist für uns in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel absolut inakzeptabel. Der Vorfall hat unseren Schlaf, unsere Erholung und das Sicherheitsgefühl erheblich beeinträchtigt. Auch der Umgang mit den Beschwerden war enttäuschend. Wir hatten nicht den Eindruck, dass die Situation ernst genommen wurde, und es wurde keinerlei Entgegenkommen angeboten.

Très bel établissement, on s’y sent très bien, la décoration et l’ambiance sont soignés. La chambre est très spacieuse et la literie incroyable.

L’hôtel est situé dans un petit village avec pas grand chose aux alentours à pied, une voiture est nécessaire pour aller à la plage par exemple.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable, helpful friendly staff. Food excellent, breakfast buffet, poolside lunch and restaurant dinner. The room was spacious and we opted for one with a terrace and hot tub which was lovely to relax in post lunch. Not the cheapest hotel but you get what you pay for, we’re going back next year!!

Loved our stay with you. We came with our 20 month year old daughter and everybody was so welcoming & accommodating. Cot was all set up on arrival. Pool area was fab but it could be warmer and weather could have been better to use it more (not your fault). Only negative was our room wasn’t cleaned one of the days so we had to ask for a few things at reception. Also, breakfast choice could be a bit wider with a bigger fruit platter, more drinks other than orange juice and more options for children. Overall we loved it, thank you! Hopefully be back soon

Super schöne Zimmer mit allem, was man sich wünscht. Die Pool-Area ist gemütlich und lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist ausserordentlich gut und reichhaltig.

Leider waren wir in der Übergangssaison, weshalb die Heizung/Klima noch auf 24 Grad eingestellt war und leider nicht individuell angepasst werden konnte. Es war deshalb viel zu warm in den Zimmern am Abend.

Das Frühstück, die Ausstattung und auch das Personal sind einfach klasse. Ich persönlich finde auch, dass alle anderen Hotelgäste einfach freundlich und nett sind, was wir in anderen Hotels schon anders erlebt haben.

Wir haben das Hotel bereits das zweite mal besucht. Ein paar kleine Mängel könnten/sollten abgestellt werden. Wenn die Haken im Badezimmer aus der Wand gerissen sind, sollten diese auch wieder ordentlich befestigt werden. Es sind Kleinigkeiten, fallen aber ins Auge. Eine Baustelle direkt gegenüber ist derzeit leider nicht optimal, das vor allem Lärm, durch den Abbruch zu hören ist. Das Hotel kann aber nichts dafür.

My stay at Barefoot Hotel was truly exceptional. The design of the hotel is beautiful, with great attention to detail, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the private rooftop jacuzzi, such a special touch that made the experience even more memorable. What really stood out, however, was the service. The level of care and attention from every single member of the team was outstanding. A special thank you to Lisset, Olivia, and Dominique for making our stay so enjoyable. I’m already looking forward to coming back it was an unforgettable experience.
