Breakfast was amazing. The staff were incredibly detail oriented. They provided a lot of accommodations to ensure we were taken care of, such as additional hangers in the wardrobe upon request, breakfast item requests, pillow selection, and friendliness. The hotel gave great recommendations for the area and got us an ideal reservation for Saturday night dinner with little notice. The pool is amazing and the hotel is small enough that the common areas do not feel overcrowded. A+ for also serving Aperitivo wine at the pool in the proper glassware instead of plastic. The hotel provides beach equipment, which comes highly appreciative. We personally enjoyed the waffle-knit linens, and the bathrobes. They were plentiful, clean, and perfect after a long beach day. The toiletries were Ortigia branded.

It was not advertised or expected, but would consider to come back here for a longer stay if there was a gym/fitness room. The AC did not have a silent-mode, which may also be important for sensitive sleepers.

Battimandorlo was an absolute oasis. Noto’s countryside is beautiful, but this place still managed to exceed our expectations. From the moment we arrived it felt like we’d stepped away from the world. The staff were amazing. Genuinely warm, attentive but never hovering, and full of good local tips (we ended up trying a few wineries just from their recommendations). Breakfast was a solid 10/10 every single morning, and the pool was so relaxing, exactly what you want after a day out exploring the region. For what you get, it’s excellent value too. We’re already talking about when we’ll go back. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful property, fabulous pool and fantastic views. Staff is lovely, delightfull food and everything is thought of. We loved the rooms and the overall experience. Would definitely go back and recommand this place.

Deze locatie geeft je meteen een thuis gevoel. Alles is prachtig: mooi design, lunch en diner zijn van zeer hoge kwaliteit en het ontbijt is uitzonderlijk goed! Het zwembad is geweldig en van een fijne temperatuur. Wij zeggen dit niet vaak maar zouden hier graag terugkomen. Vanuit deze locatie zit je zowel dicht bij het strand als ook bij veel leuke stadjes en dorpjes

Puntjes voor verbetering zijn de bedden, deze vonden wij behoorlijk stevig en de handdoeken in de kamer zijn niet comfortabel.

The owners and the staff were lovely and I felt like I was in a fairy garden the entire time I spent there. I never wanted to leave. Also, the food was truly sensational.

O quarto poderia ter cortinas que cubram um pouco mais a luz que entra pelas janelas no período do amanhecer do sol. O quarto fica claro logo cedo.

It was even nicer than we had expected! The design and layout was really cleverly done, so you could have privacy or socialise depending on your mood. Having just 7 rooms made it feel very special and all the staff were wonderful. The food was excellent with just the right portions, and lots produced in house.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a peaceful and stylish atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip – fresh fruit salad, homemade cakes, delicious bread, and perfect cappuccinos every morning. The pool is stunning, with breathtaking views over the olive groves: a perfect spot to relax. The location is also ideal: peaceful yet just a short drive from the lovely town of Noto.

Das Dinner abends könnte für den Preis besser sein und leichte Geräusche aus der Küche morgens in unserem Zimmer.

A charming and quaint hotel just a few kilometres from Noto. While our room was on the smaller side, the spacious bathroom made up for it. The staff were warm and welcoming, yet gave us plenty of space to enjoy a relaxed stay. The standout was breakfast — beautifully prepared with local produce, and we’re still dreaming about the ricotta. A lovely spot for a peaceful getaway close to town.

Amazing property, filled with olive trees , it was peaceful and the villa was architected the most beautiful design and decor . The pool was clean and very nice place to relax . The staff was accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was crafted with love .

The property was 5 stars . I loved it!! My only issue was we didn’t have a car and the cost of the taxis was expensive. A trip into town 2 Km was 30 Euros each way. If you stay here I recommend having a car.

We had such a perfect stay, we were a big group but the hotel and staff made us feel really special and nothing was too much trouble. We ate outside in a gorgeous courtyard for every meal, surrounded by stunning views and a wonderful tranquil feeling. The pool was such a treat to swim in, the rooms were stylish but comfy, the staff were really friendly, and the food was some of the best food we ate in Sicily - absolutely delicious. Battimandorlo is a very special place. We are very much looking forward to a return visit soon.

This is a beautiful hotel in a small, converted farm. The conversion was beautifully done. The grounds, including the infinity pool, and the building are both very tasteful and efficient. The decor of the building is great. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast was superb - the owner also owns a restaurant in town which just got a Michelin star.

This hotel can be a little tricky to find. It is also located well outside of town, so don't expect to be able to walk anywhere - this is a very rural experience (including being a bit buggy). But if you are looking for this type of hotel, it's great.

Our stay at Battimandorlo in Noto, Sicily, was truly unforgettable. The meticulous design and stunning scenery, set amid olive and almond groves just minutes from the heart of Noto, made for a breathtaking backdrop. It’s the perfect base for exploring Noto, Syracuse/Ortigia, and many nearby attractions. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious, featuring the softest linens and the most inviting bed and pillows. The food was exceptional—every meal expertly crafted by a professional chef using local ingredients. Breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh-squeezed juices, delicious cakes, eggs to order, and a long list of other items you could order as many of as you liked. Not wanting to leave due to the serene atmosphere, we ended up dining there most evenings, enjoying dinner on the patio accompanied by a carefully curated playlist that enhanced the magical experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive all around. Each morning while at breakfast they cleaned our room and made our bed, leaving behind homemade cookies as a sweet surprise. Battimandorlo was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had and we hope to return one day!

Breakfast was amazing and exceeded expectations!

The pool water was not inviting. It was green. Although staff said it was safe to swim in, my husband said no- so he would not swim. We have pools and green water can be treated and overnight- so a bit of ongoing pool maintenance issue I think. One of the reasons we stayed there was to enjoy pool and to relax with nature. So, a bit disappointing. But, inn and staff so delightful I still gave it a 9- one point lost due to pool color.

Our stay at Battimandorlo was even better than expected. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our time there, offering many tips and suggestions for exploring the area and helping with reservations at nearby restaurants. The food was amazing, both the dinner we had on our first night (which is an additional cost) and the breakfast (which is included). The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere perfect for a relaxing few days in the Noto region.

The air conditioning in our room could have been a bit stronger but it was never uncomfortable.

Hospitality of a family B&B with the amenities of a luxury hotel. The food was phenomenal- fresh, locally sourced, and made with care. The property is beautifully designed, modern Mediterranean interiors yet no shortage of that quintessentially Italian, old world charm. We loved relaxing by the pool, dining in the courtyard, and having a peaceful home base to return to after a day in Noto or swimming at Vendicari.

They recently changed their menu to smaller dishes. Food was good, however extremely small portions that are served on large plates. Some of them are literally 2 bites and therefore overpriced. Breakfast was included, and despite the taste being okay, again the portions are so small. In addition the dining experience and overall, they’re missing a vibe. Multiple times no background music so you just sit there in the quiet with other guests, all sort of whispering their conversations as it makes it awkward. Recommendation to put some music on, have your property manager taking a more proactive role and suggesting things to do in area, recommend your cocktail of the day by the pool, host a cooking class etc.

Everything about Battimandorlo was beautiful. The setting, the rooms, the food. The staff were exceptional in terms of service but also friendliness! Would definitely go again.

It is a bit pricey at Battimandorlo but we felt so pampered and relaxed after our stay that it might have been worth it!

The breakfasts were lovely, outdoors by menu. The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue.
