Happy Life Grand Hotel & Rooftop Skybar

The property was centrally located and close to everything staff go above and beyond what anyone could expect of them to help you out? Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Beds could’ve been a little bit softer but after I mentioned this to staff, they went out of their way to put a padded mattress topper on my bed which was wonderful.

Everything is perfect!…the food, the staff, the price, the rooftop but overall the location, very close to the walking street and the market.

The hotel is amazing and the customer service is perfect Jade the Concierge could not do enough. Felt truly at home. Also the room cleaner Binh was excellent

Location is perfect to explore the city centre, with lots of food options, and in walking distance of major attractions. The staff are exceptional very helpful, the rooftop bar is a bonus too. Room is comfortable and rooms are quiet.

Een heel goed ontbijt. Veel diversiteit aan ontbijt keuzes. Fruit, groente, warm en koud. Westers en Aziatisch. Gezond en lekker vers. Aardige bediening die altijd voor je klaar stond en mooi uitzicht.

bij het boeken van de kamer bij booking was niet duidelijk dat ik kamers had geboekt zonder raam. Nu hadden we de eerste keer een upgrade en dat was heel fijn maar de tweede keer niet. gelukkig maar voor 1 nacht maar dat is op de site van booking niet echt duidelijk.

Omg there is nothing same with pictures. Cant possible it still have 5 stars. İ booked 2 nights and paid but after i saw hotel , i run away from hotel 2nd day and moved another hotel.

Located in a quiet area in Ben thanh market. Breakfast was terrible for a 5* hotel n staff there was not friendly at all. All the towels in the bathroom need to be replaced, it was old n worn out n grey. It is a 3* star definitely not 5*.

No es un cinco estrellas, esta bien ubicado pero es bastante viejillo, la habitación no tenia ventanas y el desayuno era bastante normalito

Hotel in great location with good facilities. Clean, staff available if any support required either during the stay or to schedule trips.

Breakfast was sufficient, staff always courteous and plenty to choose from.

The rooftop bar was very disappointing and often that area was not kept clean. We'd come up for swim in the morning and tables were full of last nights drinks, scrapes etc

シャワー室のお湯がトイレ側に行かないように、ガラス戸が2枚ありますが、隙間が開く為、シャワーが終わると、トイレ側の床がびしょ濡れになりました。

The staff were amazing, it was my birthday and noticed on my passport at check in, sang happy birthday and gave me a cake, the facilities were clean and the location was great, only a few hundred metre walk to the main shops

Having travelled extensively, we felt this hotel was closer to a 3.5-star experience than the advertised 4.5 stars. The bed was particularly disappointing. Although advertised as a king bed, it was actually two single beds pushed together, which moved apart during the night whenever we turned over. The mattress itself was also not particularly comfortable. The access to the sky bar and pool was another drawback. You have to walk through the restaurant and up a set of stairs to reach the pool, then walk along a narrow pool deck to get to the bar. There were also very limited seats available around the pool, making it difficult to find somewhere to relax. Breakfast was very average and did not feel in keeping with what we would expect from a 4.5-star hotel. The bathroom also had a shower over the bath rather than a separate walk-in shower. Overall, the hotel was adequate, but based on our experience and having stayed in many hotels around the world, we don't feel the 4.5-star rating accurately reflects the standard of accommodation or facilities. We would rate it closer to 3.5 stars.

Highly recommend this place , this Establishment is lucky enough to have a beautiful employee called Jade who truly goes above and beyond to welcome you . She is so caring and kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome here … the location is fabulous and couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay while here in Ho Chi Minh especially since it’s our first time here …

The beds are terribly hard as a rock! Luckily we were only staying for 2 nights.. any longer would’ve been a problem. The staff need to learn english. Our room wasn’t the cleanest or well set up- looked like it was a rushed job when they made the rooms - marking pen on the walled, botched painting jobs. And the pool was only 0.6m! That’s hardly a pool

We loved our stay and Jade in guest relations/reception went above and beyond to assist us with any issues. The hotel management needs to know how valuable Jade is to/and is an asset to their team. She definitely works hard and deserves a pay rise. We would definitely come back to Happy Life Grand Hotel in the future. Everyone from the lovely room ladies/cleaners, reception staff and the lovely man who helped me down the front stairs (as I use a walking cane) were kind, friendly, helpful and appreciated.

We had no window (except onto the lift ventilation shaft) so the room smelled of Wet Trainer pretty fast. Well appointed just very dark and not brilliantly ventilated.
