Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Location was great. Beautiful view out the lounge window (wharf reconstruction going on outside the bedroom window currently). Would recommend food from the fish and chip shop on the corner, Bully Hayes. Le Thai was delicious and great portion sizes. If you have a 4WD vehicle go for a drive around and explore the bays, such a beautiful drive and scenery. The couch is very comfy!
There is current wharf reconstruction going on, so it does get noisy depending on the tide (6am for us one morning). If you are on holiday it doesn't matter :)

Apartment modern and had a very well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Nice restaurant just a couple of doors down. Situated just along the road from the sightseeing boat jetty. Easy parking.

There was nothing that came to mind. We didn't use the cooking facilities as we only stayed for one night and had take-asay for dinner, so we can't comment on those.

Little disappointed that the place felt a little neglected and due for a refresh given the $$$ , mirrors and windows were grubby and no milk provided with the limited hot drink selection. I do appreciate there were extenuating circumstances due to recent bad weather.

Let op : zelf koken kan niet alleen opwarmen in de magnetron.

Location was exceptional, right on the waterfront with a great view and close to restaurants. The location is surprisingly very quiet in the mornings, with few people around, so noise wasn't an issue for sleeping in for a while, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Reviewed Nov 30, 2025Staying here was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The views of the water and jetty from the balcony were lovely. It was well located, with shops and food outlets nearby. We went on a two hour nature cruise, and were able to just walk across the road to the jetty to board the boat. The hosts were very helpful with useful information and clear instructions for our arrival.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025Lovely open apartment with a large balcony overlooking the stunning Hills, Ocean, Dolphin tour wharf and office. It was very quiet, especially at night, even though the restaurants and pub were on the opposite corner. Very hard to leave.
The outdoor chairs scrape really loudly. Rubber stoppers on the legs needed.

Reviewed Jun 7, 2025Great location, right across the road from the harbour with a balcony to sit on at night and just relax. We enjoyed having Netflix to watch (a nice bonus) and the heating was good as it was getting a bit cold at night. All the beds were suitable.
Climbing up the stairs with big luggage was a bit painful (but the views were worth it). Nothing really else to complain about it was an enjoyable stay (out of season, so not many people around). In peak season it might get noisy.

Icing on the cake was when we found the sofa had electric reclining seats. Very quiet too as not on top of any restaurants but only a few minutes walk to get to them. Right above an ice cream parlour too, what more could you ask for
