I didn't like that the door code hadn't been changed. Easy for anyone with the access code to get in - no ability to snib the door.

The bathroom was small, the bedroom studio area was small, he unit was on the ground floor and a wee bit exposed to public eye. The heat pump wasn’t working but an after was provided.

Someone parking in our allotted parking spot and having to park in the street....though this is not the fault of the owner/manager of the Studio Akaroa, but maybe having to summit plate numbers when we check-in might help. We could then ring management and ask which room the culprit was in, so we could get them to move...a note on their windscreen didn't have that affect :(

pictures indicated a water view with a courtyard but this particular apartment had no outdoor area. has a frypan but no cooking oil. one plunger bag of coffee for 3 day stay?

No hooks in the bathroom. Bathroom a bit tight - not enough space to hang or place toiletries etc. a couple of hooks on back of door would help.

Cleaning could have been better - there were crumbs on the bench top when we arrived. Little touches just took the edge off it being luxury - frayed towels, paint chip in the bathroom. Quality of tea and coffee were average.
