friendly and helpful staff
rooms are tiny
I liked that it had restaurants and bars at the location. Good vibe in reception
The room was very compact. Not enough room to open a suitcase
We loved this hotel! The cafe/bar in the lobby was really great, it gave us somewhere other than our room to relax.
The helpful and friendly staff.
The location was perfect for our purposes-- close to my son and the East River. The river walk is gorgeous and I love that we could walk to the ferry to Manhattan! Modern decor, clean and comfortable room and vibrant lobby and restaurant area. Fun to see so many people working and meeting up in the Cafe area. I look forward to coming back!
The shower was a little complicated to figure out which handle did what, haha. Instructions maybe would be helpful?
Location was excellent.
Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot to love IMO. The rooms were fine, the lack of mini bar is understandable but then the inability to get anything to the room like ice was a nightmare. Service was very inattentive and the food across the venue was far too niche.
Great location and staff were prompt and pleasant. The coffee and bar area in the lobby are very nice. Was able to get a ride Uber/lyft in 2 minutes. The area is also very walkable and close to nearby spots
It is quite small and expensive.
Loved the location. Everything in the room was done well. Restaurants were good. Lobby/Kfar was great.
My only complaint is that the room was too small which made it hard to move around. No closet space. Nowhere to put suitcases or shoes. I hit my ankle on the bed frame many times. 😒
Le quartier, la vue et la fonctionnalité des chambres.
Rien
The location is great for a family. Walking distance to parks (one block), restaurants, coffee shops, shopping areas, etc. Property is cleaned. Restaurants on-site are delicious. Staff were cool and nice at the same time; somehow this combination works here.
My supplies were not replenished during room service such as coffee, mugs, and milk. I called in to request two times and they bring them up quickly :)
אווירה נעימה במלון, חדר נוח ושקט. נקי. מסעדה מעולה!
עמוס מאוד בבית הקפה בלובי בשעות הבוקר, לפעמים אין מקום לשבת.
Good vibe with open bar/cafe area. Good location.
Nothing.
Location, excellent vibe Get odd number rooms to overlook east river and Manhattan
Rooms are tight/small Needs a solid bathroom door, not glass which lights up room
Location
Our room faced a night club and even though we were on a high floor it was very noisy all night long.
Location, nice amenities, the water station was a nice touch
i couldn't connect the marshal bluetooth speaker and no one at the front desk when i asked know how either. the the was just regular cable, would have been nice if it was smart tv so we can login to our subscription platforms
Location and coffee shop in lobby
Cable TV voices limited and the TV coverage was spotty .. screen would freeze
Location was perfect for our stay in Brooklyn - lovely neighborhood, nearby parks, easy access to subway and so many great coffee shops, bagel shops and restaurants. Breakfast pastries were delicious! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!
Of course the rooms "could have" been a little bigger - but not really, it's New York and they are what they are - and it's expected. But the beds were VERY comfortable and the hotel was beautiful.
Good location
Very small rooms. The bath faucets were not working properly.
With any hotel bearing the Hoxton name, you expect a certain standard of quality, and this property delivered. Both the exterior and interior were beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated. The rooms were generously sized by NY standards and made excellent use of the available space. The bathroom was bright and well lit, and the shower offered excellent water pressure. The hotel’s location was excellent, offering convenient transport links into Manhattan for those wanting to explore the city. After spending a week amid the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, it was refreshing to experience a quieter, more relaxed side of NYC. The property was ideally near independent coffee shops, artisan boutiques, and charming hole-in-the-wall establishments, giving the neighborhood a distinctive local character.
As noted on the hotel’s website, the property is pet-friendly, which may explain why some of the lobby furniture appeared a little worn in places. The rooms felt somewhat cramped for two people sharing, particularly on a longer stay. While the two spacious under-bed drawers provided useful storage, they were not quite sufficient for two guests with a significant amount of luggage.
Excelente
Bon emplacement
Great location. Nicely designed. Efficient.
Staff were offhand especially reception.
Incredible location walking distance to some great spots easy to jump on subway , hotel is beautiful and rooftop bar is gorgeous.
Rooms are just on the smaller side for what you pay for but that’s not uncommon for NYC
Great location in Williamsburg. Room was more spacious than expected [still small, but good for NYC] and had a great Manhattan view. We were in a room on the 3rd floor, but it was quiet in the evenings with no disturbance from street level noise.
There isn't a gym and the staff aren't particularly friendly but neither impacted our stay
Location, comfortable bed, lively vibe
Incredibly small room and bathroom

Small rooms with limited space
La ubicación.
Los cuartos no tienen lugar donde abrir las valijas, ni armarios donde guardar la ropa. Es chico si uno quiere pasar varios días .
the location was great.the design was great, the bar area was very nice the restaurant also on the roof was great.
some of the staff were not very happy, both at reception and at the cafe. you need to have some healthy alternatives to choose from.
Fin beliggenhed, funky indretning. God morgenmad, hyggelig bar Dejlig seng og rigtig dyne
Meget lille værelse, svært at få plads til to kufferter. Intet skab, ingen mulighed for at pakke ud. Badeværelse meget lille, ikke plads til noget.
Familiar Hoxton branding. Cool decor. Well laid out room. Great cocktails.
Hotel lounge so full of non resident drop ins that there was often no room to sit. Very limited dietary information. Very few non diary dishes and not flexibility to switch ingredients in and out. Very poor room service involving a no show once where they said they had tried to call me three times to tell me and left a message. No one had called my mobile or the room and there was no message. No apology just an impatient question when I complained whether I wanted something else. The room service app was not functioning.
Although the place is very well located, has beautiful facilities, and is truly a lovely property, I had several issues during my stay that made the experience disappointing. I stayed in room 417, and unfortunately, there were cockroaches, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the shower area was especially unpleasant. The bathroom infrastructure also seemed damaged, so the bathroom would flood completely after using the shower. Another issue was the iron. I was attending an event and needed to iron my clothes, but the iron in the room was not working. These details definitely affected my overall experience and left me feeling dissatisfied. That said, I would consider coming back because I genuinely liked the place in many ways. However, the cleanliness needs to improve significantly and be much more detailed, because in this case, it was really not acceptable.

-Friendly staff -Cosy lobby area -Great view of Manhattan -Comfy, large bed
The rooms are small so not much space to store large cases for a longer stay.
Had an incredible stay at The Hoxton Williamsburg, it truly has everything you could want in a hotel. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel so welcome. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest I’ve come across, always happy to recommend the coolest spots in the neighbourhood and go above and beyond to make your stay special. The room itself was fantastic, but the real standout was the view, waking up to the Manhattan skyline was absolutely breathtaking. A huge highlight was Laser Wolf on the rooftop. The food was unbelievable, the service was spot on, and the views are just next level. The vibe throughout the hotel is incredible, both day and night, great music, amazing energy, and a real sense that you’re in the heart of something special. A big shout out to Don, and the amazing front-of-house team, Trisha and Eden, who made my stay even more enjoyable. Cool music, incredible food, fab rooms, this hotel nails it on every level. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Williamsburg.
L’atmosfera la gentilezza e la posizione
Prezzo molto alto
Tricia was very helpful while i asked about reservations with laser wolf , i was a bit confused but she cleared things out for me i was setting up an anniversary dinner for my boyfriend and i , i wanted to surprise him !!
It’s a hotel that has grown out of its size - despite been a resident can’t get a seat at the lobby - not allowed to go to the rooftop lounge they are all booked up - what’s the point in staying in these tiny bedrooms worn now amenities to go downstairs without booking well in advance
Location
Rooms are small.
the location and the bed
After staying at this hotel for 18 days and paying a hefty bill, it’s disappointing to leave with such a negative final impression. On our last night, we simply wanted to go up to the rooftop for a few minutes to see the Williamsburg view. We were denied access due to it being “too crowded” and because we didn’t have a reservation. While those may be standard policies, the real issue is the lack of flexibility and consideration shown to long-term hotel guests on their last evening. After nearly three weeks as paying guests—respecting the rules we were treated no differently than walk-in visitors, with no attempt to accommodate even a brief visit. That speaks volumes about how little guest experience seems to matter. If rooftop access is restricted, this should be clearly communicated from the beginning. More importantly, hotel guests should be given some level of priority or at least a degree of understanding. We had hoped to end our stay on a positive note, despite having to sit at the stairs for most of our morning coffee but instead left with frustration and disappointment. For anyone considering a longer stay: being a guest here does not necessarily mean you’ll have access to amenities, not even a few reserved seats in the lobby for hotel guests and don’t expect flexibility or guest-oriented service in any matter. Unfortunately, our lasting impression is low empathy, and poor guest relations.
The location was excellent. We loved the bar area (loved the Saturday night band too) and the rooftop. It’s a beautiful place- staff: a long haired guy (dark hair) who worked during the day was just brilliant, as was his colleague, who spoke for ages to my 14 year old about comics and NYC generally! The rooms were lovely- we loved our view!
The rooms were small (I know it’s NYC and can’t be helped, but we needed more surfaces to lay stuff down and it would’ve been great if our suitcases had fit under the bed)! One long pink haired lady (receptionist)was quite dismissive of us but the rest were just lovely.
Location and vibe
Room was not super clean and also laack of comfort facilities in the room

Niks
Great location and amazing staff
I understand that it was in New York but the room was tiny
Bien situé. Lobby très vivant
Chambres minuscules
Great location. Rooms small but very comfortable. Very friendly staff. Love the coffee shops in the lobby. Also has great restaurants.
Location. Size of the room. Quality of the bathroom. How well I slept at night. Amenity bag they made up when I mentioned my husband’s birthday.
No flaws
Easy location for where I needed to me, staff are very friendly on the desk and restaurant area
The walls are VERY thin. This means you can literally hear everything! It sounded like someone was coming into our room several times but it was just the noise outside in the hall area. The staff at the coffee bar HATE their jobs! So rude in general
Chic decor. High quality finishes, sheets. Community area had a great vibe
Nothing
Amazing location and decent size room
Only downside was the shower door, this leaked everytime we had a shower but the shower itself was amazing
Lo único la ubicación el resto no recomendable. Habitaciones super chica a casi 400 dólares. Hall de acceso que parece una discoteca y no un hotel
Lo que comente anteriormente
Very pretty room and bathroom, and lost of attentive details, like the neighborhood guide and breakfast bag. Bed was extremely comfortable, and I enjoyed the view of Manhattan and the fact I could crack the window open for some fresh air. The restaurant was incredible, and the staff really nice. Also I LOVE that there was no fragrance in the lobby and common spaces. The area felt safe, and the hotel is an easy walk from an accessible subway station (with elevator).
The lobby was crowded all day and felt like one of those cafés where everyone is on their laptop. Not really a place to rest. The shower was not intuitive to use, changed temperature on its own and easily flooded the bathroom. Most of all I didn't find the room super functional: there were few surfaces to put my personal items, and nowhere to keep an open suitcase, just a drawer to stash it, but no drawers, only a bar with hangers.
location was great, aesthetic and coziness of hotel was great
We stayed 3 nights and managed to get a table in the bar/cafe only 1 of 3 mornings because every single table is taken up by someone on their laptop. This was very frustrating. The coffee shop would not let us take the ceramic mugs to our room, so we stood drinking our coffee because putting them in a paper cup "to go" was never the point. If this is to be a lounge for hotel guests, then it might be nice to (at a minimum) discourage sitting about with headphones and laptops at least on weekends. I also was in disbelief at the number of dogs sitting about the cafe/bar; can't say I was a fan.
I loved everything... rooms are small, but this IS NYC/Brooklyn. They are updated, modern, but cozy. VERY CLEAN!! Love the ambiance, several eating areas, sitting area and comfortable bar. The MENU has an Israeli flare and are delicious!!!
Nothing.
Vue incroyable, deco, proche du métro et ferry
Rien
Super fiendly staff, and the lobby is a great meeting place.
Room is very small, but I guess it was expected.
Location.
No place to visit with friends and family. Lobby was always busy. Noticed many were not staying at hotel and sat for hours on their computers. ☹️
I really dislike how they don’t provide you with a breakdown of the charges they put on your card when you check out. They just say “$X” was charged but I can’t tell you if that’s from restaurant or bar or minibar or wherever. And just in general the staff seem a bit clueless / too cool for school for a premium hotel. Hotel itself is nice.
Great boutique hotel, nice ambiance and great service. Tricia was very helpful getting us accommodated, the rooms were beautiful and very clean. Such a great location as well! Definitely will be coming back.
We had such a great experience thanks to Tricia at the hotel! Her customer service was truly excellent—she was so kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were comfortable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests the way she does. Thank you, Tricia, for making our stay even more enjoyable!
I’ve been staying here once a year for the last few years, and everytime the staff have been very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for if you want to be able to get into Manhattan easily.
The showers - the shower always seems to flood the bathroom, and when getting in and out of the shower, the door makes the flooding worse
View to Manhattan skyline and a good atmosphere
Missing table and 2 chairs in the room
My wife and I stayed at The Hoxton and had a wonderful time. Eric M was truly amazing and helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. We would absolutely stay here again!
Wir fanden wirklich alles perfekt!
Exceptional view, nice bathroom and Marshall loud speaker in the room. Location to explore both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Size of the room and little space for hanging one’s clothes. The lobby/bar was always full to the extent we couldn’t get a seat there - to rest or plan the next part of the day - for 5 consecutive days.
Location is excellent! Lobby area is super cool and restaurant was excellent.
The room could be a little more spacious. The bathroom is a bit tight.
Two of our adult children, my wife, and I stayed here two nights on Valentine's Day weekend. Here are my quick observations: 1. The rooms are very small. That fact is inescapable, but the rooms are well-appointed. They have a coffee maker, small fridge, nice blue tooth speaker, small clothes rack, the obligatory TV, and two ample drawers under the bed. The shower is quite confusing, but it worked well once we understood the two handles. 2. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I wish to particularly compliment Brett who called us when the rooms were ready, checked us in, and answered all of our questions. 3. The lobby/bar is very attractive and ever so cozy. It is a nice place to relax or have a coffee and pastry. It is also great for an afternoon or late-night drink.
We are 1 day in for Valentine’s Day weekend and regret staying here. Let’s start with the good. Williamsburg is what Sesame Street would be like for grown ups. It’s a great location, easy public transport, walkable, safe creative area that can fit all kinds of interests. But there are a bunch of hotels in this area like the Whythe who will give you the same access and deliver on their promises. Hoxton’s $400+/night rate includes daily cleaning of the room. Guess what? No one has even so much as dropped off clean towels. So even though the room looked clean and tidy when we checked in, if they don’t care about cleaning when guests are here, what does that suggest about cleaning in between guests when no one is around to check in? And good luck trying to reach reception by phone in the evening. Busy signal for over 40 minutes both by cell and the useless hotel phone. All we wanted were towels! It would have been easier to take the 5-10 minute walk to CVS twice and buy it ourselves. What was so unpleasantly surprising about all this is that the staff are all super responsive, knowledgeable and kind when they are around. We did late check in and lady who checked us in was very responsive and diligent. She also gave great advice about parking which was a lifesaver post snow storm. We also asked for an iron from one of the male receptionists in the morning and got it fast. So it’s a management problem clearly they don’t have enough people who can deliver on their over promises, because the people who are here try very hard. Be warned so that you’re not the one left holding the bill.
Amazing experience at the Hoxton! Eric was amazing for the whole stay!!! 10/10 would recommend!
Great location and good vibe.
Busy from locals and no accommodation for residents
The hotel and staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.
