very accommodating. would have taken me to airport at 4am if I was stuck for a drive.

My mother and I stayed for a night and couldn’t believe how clean and bright everything was. Such a cute way to have the towels and toiletries. Very impressed. Very low price for 5 star service

The driveway to get into the property was a little tricky, but this was in the winter and there was snow banks.

Motel appears to have been updated with newer siding and new looking roof. Room was somewhat dated but spacious; bed was comfortable. All the amenities expected/needed were there (coffee maker, frig, microwave). Bathroom had updated fixtures. Room/ bathroom were very clean.

Room needs some updating; maybe some paint to brighten.

STAYED THERE IN EARLY JANUARY , AND ON THIS RECENTY VISIT , WAS ACCUSED OF BREAKING A BED AND HAVING PETS IN THE ROOM FOR THE EARLY VISIT . I CHECKED IN AND PUT SUIT CASES IN THE ROOM. than WENT OUT WHEN i CAME BACK THERE WERE TWO NOTES ON THE DOOR .THE EMPLOYYE AS I WAS GETTING OUT OF MY VEHICLE ACCUSED ME ..i WAS BAFFELED AS I DON`T HAVE ANY PETS AND I WAS TOLD THERE WAS POOP FOR AN ANIMAL IN THE ROOM AND THE LEG OF A BED WAS BROKEN .WHEN WE WERE IN THE ROOM IT WAS LIKE THE BED WAS NOT CONNECTED TO THE HEAD BOARD. I DID NOT REPIORT THAT .HE SAID I HAD STAYYED IN ROOM THREE WAS I TOLD HIM IT WAS ROOM 4 I WAS IN.i HAD PICTURES OF THE ROOM WHEN I LEFT , HOWEVER DELETE AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS .i TOOK PICTURES ON THIS VISIT AS WELL .

It was quite clean there, and there were no unpleasant odors.

The bed was too small, and the mattress kept us awake. It bounced every time I moved, and the vibrations woke up my wife, who also couldn't sleep next to me. To sit at the dining table, you have to move the sofa because there isn't enough room behind it. To turn on the coffee maker, you have to put it on the floor because there is no outlet near the coffee maker on the dining table. We also found unwashed glasses with something white inside. There is a cheap electric stove on the refrigerator; it is not plugged in, there is no outlet for it, and when you see it, you will most likely change your mind about using it.

Room was spotlessly clean, towels were bright white, soft, and smelled fresh. Room was spacious for two people with plenty of room to move around. Blackout curtains were excellent...we slept in later than we normally do!

The tile floor was cold on the feet (we were there in December) but fortunately we had packed slippers.

Neat roadside cabin near a restaurant. Stay would have perfect if it had not been a scent used to spray the room. This launched a sneezing attack and there was no kleenex…. However, I have to recommend this affordable spot: it comes equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. Very very good for the low price!

I honestly loved our stay! The previous night we had a bad experience at another motel an its drop the review by a lot! But coming to the Rothesay motel was an immediate upgrade an very nice staff. My son is autistic an the worker acknowledged him an made him smile lots! Thank you for our stay!

Location, quiet, spacious, good heat and hot water for the shower. Good wireless, great check in.

Strong cleaning smell when entering unit, non carpeted floors, noisy refrigerator but easily unplugged.

Love the place. Stayed here before. Only concern we had. Floors very slippery coming out of shower as whole room is tile. A dead bolt or chain on hotel door for added security would be a nice touch. Other than that. Absolutely perfect.

Best thing about this motel is the staff, Jong in particular. I hope I got his name right. He is a ray of sunshine and made the experience an awesome one. Always very helpful. This was near to the airport and it was clean. For a motel, I was surprised it came up to $165 (including tax) a night but not complaining. Quite a few good food choices within walking distance. There was even 2 bubble tea stores.

After putting the AC on for a bit the room smelled musty

Nice sized clean room with ceramic tile floor. Would stay here again.

We liked the multiple bedrooms in the unit and the kitchen facilities. Water pressure was good. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

Room was a little dark inside.

Small and cute older property from the 1920s? which has been renovated without losing it’s charm. Stayed for one night and did not see the owners - which was fine - everything worked!

Accommodations were clean and as advertised - I would return if back in the area

When I booked on Hotels.com there was no where did it say my small dog was not allowed. When I showed up the person at the counter was very rude about the situation. I continued to say it wasn't a problem my dog could stay in my truck for the night. He then proceeded to tell me no the dog could not stay on the premises at all. Fine I could find another place to stay and asked to be refunded and was told no because he didn't have 48 hours notice. So I left found another place to stay and did not get refunded and ended up paying for two places to stay.

Great place to stay. We had a luxury apt at the back and it was perfect for 2 couples

The beds were very comfortable and it was a really quiet area. One can sit out in front as there is a little bistro set. It is a small 2 bedroom but it is clean.

The biggest issue was the lack of amenities - no dining, no ice machine. Property is older but was clean and comfortable.

The room was cozy and comfortable. There was a strip mall across the road where we found a lovely Chinese restaurant for supper. We went for a walk after and the area is very pretty and quiet.

Exceptionally clean on the inside and the outside! The host was very personable and accommodating.

Owner was super nicr, property was well run and it was clean and quiet. Close to coffee and gas and grocery stores.

I never travel and wanted to save money. It looked like a good deal for a room in town.

"Historical cabin" was right in front of the road, noisy. Only one small window because they put a closet in front of the other. Lighting was unsufficient, with one unpleasantly bright light bulb in the ceiling. Could not read a book before going to bed, no bedside table/lamp. Toilet was not well fixed to the floor. It was damp in the cabin/bed sheets. Bathroom/shower was ridiculously small, kind of "do it yourself" with nowhere to put my stuff. Smallest sink ever, could not fill my water bottle in it. Shower head was fixed so I could not rince my whole body properly. Refrigerator was right next to the bed and made a lot of noise so I could not sleep well. Ended up leaving a day before because I was exhausted and I did not wanted to spend another night there (non-refundable).

Cute quaint little 1920’s cottage. Small but very clean. There is a sign saying let the hot water run 3 to 5 minutes as the water heater isn’t right at the cottage. I did that and had no issue with warm water for my shower.

The kitchen was a bit cramped, but with adequate facilities. The sofa had a slightly musty smell.

Because the ad said there was a kitchenette - I hoped there would be a small regular stove and a toaster - ther was neither of these - there was only a hot plate and I felt it was too dangerous to use - we spent a lot more money dining out than if we could have bought food to cook - there was already a burn spot on the kitchen table when we got there don't know if that happened when someone was using the hot plate or not and the TV had a short in it - there is a lose wire going into the plug - sometimes it would just stop playing

It was cozy. Centre location of my day trips. Nostalgic as I would pass by every day after school when I was a kid. I always said I will stay there one day and now I’m 50. This was the trip

Hot water took time but I just brushed my teeth while it ran and warmed up and the pressure was low

Very nice place, the concept of small houses is just great. amazing location with restaurants and coffee shops around. Only 15 min drive to St John in a very quiet and clean area.

I found the hotel a few days before the trip. It had to be close to where my daughter was competing. The hotel exceeded expectations. We had a 2 bedroom suite, kitchen with all the cooking supplies, utensils and more. That's important to us. And the price surprised us.

When booking, if you enter - search options for 2 adults and 2 children this hotel does not appear, only if you change to 4 adults then this hotel appeared in the output of the site. It was a bit unexpected and there was a danger that the hotel does not accept families with children.

amazing stay...i only wish there would of been a ice machine available on the property. we use alot of ice lol. but the staff was great, very clean and a great location !!!!

Nice place in central Rothesay. We visited early December and had snow, although the parking lot was plowed it was not salted and we got stuck on two different days.

Rothesay motel definitely exceeded my expectations. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. No issues with pests and everything was clean! I had just stayed at the Amsterdam hotel in Sussex the day before and this Motel was actually better, much much quieter.

Unit #5 had an extremely strong smell of mold. It was absolutely disgusting and should not be allowed to be rented to anyone in the future.

The check-in was efficient and precise. My room was as expected and has been recently upgraded. It is simple value accommodation that is well run and the owners take pride and responsibility for their guest comfort.

Hotel room was very clean. I found the tub to be quite slippery getting in and out of the shower…they may want to put some slip guards in. And I found the tv to be on the small side. But overall my stay was very good.

I liked the small quaint motel. The room was clean and the place was quiet.

The property is located directly across the street from a very good Chinese restaurant. Breakfast is not available at the motel. We especially liked the location for getting to Fundy Bay national Park, Fundy Trail Provincial Park, and it is a 12 minute drive to the Digby Ferry.

A comfortable, clean motel with good beds. We stayed there on the first night of our vacation, as this seemed a good, inexpensive place from which next day to explore the Fundy Trail Parkway, which is about 45 minutes away and starts in St. Martins. After a long day's drive from New Hampshire, we found the take-out restaurant next door, Big D's Poutine, to be very convenient; their hamburgers were excellent! We brought them back and ate in front of our room. There's nothing fancy here, but we found it to be a pleasant stay for the night.

The beds were super comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep! Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Construction was being done making new sidewalks right beside the motel so entrance was limited and very rough. In a week or so when work is finished things will be much improved.

Great stay. Would stay again.
