Close to the beach

Air con was shit couldn't get below 27deg I ended up cleaning the ac filter which looked like it had never been serviced finally got to sleep pn 3rd night with temp down to 22

The rooms were clean and in a good location for easy access to An Bang. The pool was also well maintained and staff were very helpful

Noting really - breakfast was served at a sister hotel which was a short walk away. It was excellent and not inconvenient for us but I guess some may prefer it on site?

Good location, close enough to the beach but down a side road so quieter and more chilled. Mince big family room with a huge shower.

The staff let it down a bit, we didn’t even get a hello at check in and each time we came back no greeting, eye contact or even moving their feet and cigarette off the other so you can pass! However the staff at the sister hotel where you go for breakfast are delightful and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is great value and the breakfast is ace.

I have stayed at the hotel a couple of times before so knew what to expect. I like the location, down a quiet alley but close to everything. I had a couple of issues this stay, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure they were solved. The massage at the sister hotel, the Aria was excellent.

Emplacement calme et atmosphère tranquille. Petite unité à 2 minutes de marche des restaurants et boutiques. Présence d'un coffre-fort et wi-fi ok. Le Monsieur qui est à l'accueil ne parle pas anglais , mais il contacte une personne par téléphone si besoin. Il est gentil et installe des plombs sur un filet de pêche. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, mais il est servi dans un autre hôtel à 5 minutes de marche, proche de la plage.

Manque de rangements, mais apparemment commun dans d'autres hôtels où nous sommes passés. La piscine mérite un meilleur entretien (traces noires par endroits). Les photos sont plus flatteuses qu'en réalité et mis en valeur par éclairage de nuit. Draps propres mais tachés et troués.

Property in a great location and it’s clean and comfortable.

Location is great. Close to good restaurants. Even though we had to walk 10mins to breakfast, we were sent to a good resort for our inclusive breakfast.

The staff were hardly ever present, no one on front office for our check in and same again the next day when others wanted to check in.

It was very quiet and in a great location. The AC and fans worked well and the breakfast was fabulous!

The pool water was clean but it was full of sand and debris. There is broken outdoor furniture moved off to the side and the outdoor furniture needs an upgrade with additional chairs by the pool. We also did not realize that breakfast was served at another hotel. It was fine in the end but just a surprise. The bedding had no blankets, only sheets and the blankets stored in the closet weren’t clean.

Big clean rooms with refrigerators and balconies, close to beach but not too close so wasnt so noisy. Nice pool, friendly staff, world’s best breakfast included & just a short walk away.

Il a fallu demander un changement de draps au bout de 7jours car pas changés, dommage. Hôtel fantôme, juste un gardien donc même si la gérante est joignable sur watsap rapidement, personne à l’accueil. Les prix des excursions et de la laverie sont élevés vaut mieux se débrouiller ailleurs.

Size of the room alcove suite was perfect for a family we didn’t have breakfast here because lots of local places around especially right down on the edge of the beach (left side of the resort)

Great little hotel, down one of the An Bang lanes. Close to restaurants and bars, but can't hear any n noise from them. Five minute walk to the beach. Nice pool. Good sized rooms and comfortable bed. Would stay again.

The staff could do with having little more English. They are very happy and smiley, but communication was not the easiest.

Everything is great. I could have use a microwave somewhere. But it was great. This was my second time staying there.

The room and bathroom were fine - the floor was worn and sometimes was not mopped very well . I liked the colour of the wall and the furniture and the biew from the balcony was fine . Itvess also very quiet at night which was lovely . The walk to the buffet breakfast at aria was great and the buffet was excellent . I usually had to direct any wueries to the staff at Aria as there was rately anyone at Blue Alcove who could understand my English . That wasnt really a problem because I could somehow explain toilet Paper etc . Perhaps a photo menubwould help with communication oroblems

Just the grubby floor which only happened twice

The low rating for staff and service is on account of non presence of staff at all times. I had to call a number to get someone to come around. Also, staff did not understand any English. For a holiday rental this is not acceptable. The room and bathroom was clean and no issues there. A bottle of water in the fridge would have helped and a bit more closet space.

Bed was very very uncomfortable and hard , we were in room 201 , we stayed in same room last year and it hasn’t been changed since then !

The staff tried their level best to accommodate us.

There is no lift in this hotel which is very inconvenient. The tour bus has to drop us off at the main road and we have to walk thru old Kampong houses to reach this hotel. It's a 3-5 min walk. Breakfast is not served in the hotel. We had to walk 10 min to get to another hotel for breakfast. The staff hardly understood English

Location was ideal, within 2 minutes walk of everything you needed, bars, restaurants, beach, but far enough away to not be disturbed by road noise etc. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels, beach towels supplied, tea/coffee restocked. Would highly recommend.

Husband said the mugs were too small for his morning tea!

The place was close, clean and relaxing. We were looked after. Breakfast was extra and so reasonable and delicious. Very happy.

Very nice hotel near the beach, with swimming pool. It's literally 5 minutes from the beach, and around has many restaurants where you can have breakfast/lunch/dinner. Staff super friendly, they helped me booking tours and renting motorbike. Super helpful. Room was nice, clean, with fan and ac. They clean the room everyday. I'd say perfect experience.

Great little hotel, which the only issue could be is it's a little hard to find. Otherwise, great friendly staff...and lots of dining & the beach is close by on foot.

The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and modern. The Blue Alcove is in a peaceful and tranquil part of An Bang Beach, but still central to restaurants and bars. Each day I ate breakfast at the Blue Alcove's sister resort Aira. This was a quick walk, but the breakfast was exceptional.

No complaints, ideal place to stay in An Bang.

Great location. Good restaurants and close to ancient town of Hoi An. Very friendly and helpful people in the area.

Room was musty. water took a long time to get hot. Staff were noisy in the morning and lots of construction around the resort.

The Blue Alcove was a pleasant retreat in the heat. The staff were very friendly at check-in, they gave us a map of the area and informed us the local restaurants we should visit. This hotel had two sister hotels in the area and we were allowed to use thier facilities as well. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The air con and wi-fi worked well. There were bicycles that you could use if you wanted to go for a ride. The pool was a nice way to cool off. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes, atm, shops. This accomodation is only about 4 kms from Hoi An itself, so we travelled in by Grab a few times to visit the night markets etc.

Near the beach and cafes

The hotel is very worn out and dirty. During booking, there was information that breakfast we could buy additional, but there was no breakfast available. We ordered a baby crib and noted that the baby is 2 y.o., but we were provided with a crib for 6 months old. Only for the second day, they tried to fix this, but we decided to leave because we found that the pillow on the sofa was intentionally turned upside down. That was strange, and when we turned it back, we found that there was vomiting on the other side of the pillow. It was disgusting. When I asked to change that pillow, they only removed clothes from the pillow and fixed them with a towel. Very unpleasant staying.

I would like to mentioned that room was nice and a soft mattress. The room was super clean. It is close to the beach and different restaurants and coffee shops. Stuff was helpful. It's also eco-friendly hotel, they don't use plastic trash bags, only newspapers.

I didn't like the noise from the construction at 7 am just right behind the door. I have no idea why the price on the rooms were still high due to the constructions, also the door is very thin. I asked stuff to make a deal with the construction workers or change the room or give me money back. They changed the room the same day without any concern, but even in the other room i could still hear the noise. So if you travel with kids or you want to have enough sleep i would checked other places.

I comfy bed,particularly liked the use of paper over plastic in the rooms.Location was handy to everything but quiet.Liked having a balcony to sit out on too

Location and new clean bathroom are the best things about this hotel. The bathroom was new and had a great shower. Staff very friendly. It's a no frills place and for what we paid it was perfect for two nights.

Very uncomfortable bed/ pillows. Aircon was terrible we had it on 16 the whole time but it didn't cool the room down and felt very hot overnight. It was also a very loud fan but if turned down then it would get even hotter. Tiny ants in the bedroom and bathroom. Says it comes with mini bar but no snacks or drink supplied. Bedrooms need a freshen up to match the bathrooms, paint peeling off and patchy on walls and ceiling.

Very quiet area considering it is quite near the main road in An Bang. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. 24/7 security on site. Strong internet. Clean rooms and facilities. Beautiful exterior pool area.

The air conditioning in the room could’ve been better. I set it to 16 degrees Celsius each night and still found it a bit too warm. The hotel also ran out of water on 2 occasions during my stay which was a bit frustrating when trying to get showered.

Cute little hotel down a quiet alleyway, but within walking distance of the beach, shopping, restaurants, highly recommend for a quiet and comfortable stay
