Sehr solides Hotel, sauber, guter Service. Richard von der Lobbybar war sehr zuvorkommend. Rooftpool ist sehr cool, Massage war extraklasse.

Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Fitness ist etwas alibimässig eingerichtet. Entkalken im Bad wäre nicht verkehrt.

You will like the food at Swiss Belinn Gajah Mada. The staff cleans the rooms well. A nightclub next door will disturb your sleep. The club plays loud music all night. You will hear heavy bass sounds inside your room until morning. You should bring earplugs if you sleep here.

The best thing about this hotel is the incredible beef satay place across the road opposite. There are much nicer places you can stay in Medan for half the price. This was supposed to be a little treat for us but we ended up leaving disappointed.

Everything was just tired and a bit dirty, the gym equipment needs maintenance, the pool is essentially a smoking area where other guests take videos of you. The massage itself was very good, but dimmer lighting and a bit of music wouldn’t go amiss. The staff wouldn’t give us any towels for the pool, they said we had to use the ones from our room, and when we asked for extra we were told no. This is in the higher price bracket for Medan and it’s just not worth it.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The food was delicious, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. However, there was a water leak in my room that was not handled properly. The only action taken was placing a cloth to absorb the water, which was not an adequate solution and unfortunately caused an unpleasant smell. This affected both the comfort and hygiene of the room. I hope the management can improve how such issues are addressed in the future. With better maintenance and quicker, more appropriate responses, the overall experience could be much better.

great experience and super clean

everything is excellent . greeted by warm smile of Ms Rizki , and Mr Rifqy upon checking in , although a bit delayed and queued but the front desk is solutive and giving me the room that i preffered shout out to Ms Nazwa. she gave me a room with the view of Medan's city scape. breakfast is also excellent for 3 star hotel the food was warm and delicious. upon checking out i was assisted by Mr Alfahry that handles my luggage and smoothly checking out my room. overall the stay was excellent and would come back again soon when going back to medan! :)

Great staff in the whole hotel and in their restaurant, everyone was so friendly! The bed was really comfy.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast choice was good. Mango smoothie delicious.

The facilities didn't really offer that great relaxing space that other hotels can. English was more limited amongst staff (but not a major issue). Beer not available at the hotel - it's a Muslim country so that's fair enough, but I'd have chosen a different hotel had I of known this.

I am very disappointed as I reported last night that the AC in my room was not working, yet until this morning there has been no response or follow-up from the hotel. This situation has seriously affected my comfort and rest.

Good location..just 10 min walking to famous cake shop, Bolu Meranti, Napoleon and Lapis Durian. Got Indomaret and Alfamart right across the street along with a few good eateries. Thumbs up to all the staff and very delicious breakfast menus. Will definitely come again.

AC was very loud. We booked a duo massage at the spa... I would not recommend it at all. The 2 masseuse were talking together the whole time and starting asking if I was going to pay cash or card in the middle of the massage. They also burped a lot... not at all relaxing

Swiss-Belinn Gajah Mada Medan as we call SIGM is one of the favorite hotels we stayed in Medan during our several staycation weekends . With a 3rd stars hotel provides comfortable facilities such as large swimming pool and a nice fitness center. With a friendly staff and clean room we enjoyed our staycation at this hotel with no hesitation. Let’s try to spend your time with family in this hotel and feel the excellent hospitality.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to use it, but there is a pool on the rooftop, and while Medan may not offer the best city views, it was certainly a nice enough feature! There is a convenience store right on the other side of the street, which is very - well - convenient (pun intended). There is a little café corner in the lobby as well. The rooms offered anything we would have needed for our albeit short stay and we had a good night's sleep before heading on. Breakfast also offered decent options for Europeans who struggle with spicy soup in the morning.

We decided to stay in the hotel for dinner, because we didn't want to look long for food and then ended up waiting quite long for okay-ish food. There's not many vegetarian options on the menu.

They refused to give me extra towel for my daughter due to their policy of only 2 to provide. So we have to settle with 2 only, which upset me due I am a senior Manager in the Service industry in Singapore. I hope they go the extra mile to make their customers to come back. It will not affect the Hotel business just for requesting extra towel...No towel provided at the pool is a minus.

Location is just in the city center. Service with smile from the staffs. Breakfast was nice with loads of fresh fruits.

Stayed at #616 on the side of main road, was very noisy from the traffic. Make sure to request a quite room to avoid as such. Coffee at the breakfast was not the coffee we would expected from Medan Where coffee is originated.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of variety. Nice location in what we think was a "better" part of Medan. Great pool with a fantastic view of this large (2.5 mill) city.

The pool itself was really nice, but the pool surround is in need of renovation as the decking, tables, chairs and changing room facilities are old, worn and broken. A big negative is that smoking is allowed in the pool area, so you have this nice, clean healthy pool and have to put up with the stink of people smoking. This is not the fault of the hotel, but traffic in Medan is crazy so if you want to get anywhere, allow plenty of time, our trip to the airport took 1.5 hours at mid-afternoon.

Nice room with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with shower and good water pressure.

Not all items at the breakfast-buffet were replenished. But we also had Breakfast to the End of Breakfast time.

Reception was mediocre - no smile, no interest, no welcome drink. Room was nice and clean though. Breakfast was supposed to have a lot of variety but when I got there at 8 o’clock almost every tray and bowl were empty. The dining room was full at that time so i had some coffee and juice expecting dishes and platters to be refilled but that didn’t really happen in the next hour (except for fruit) I ordered some scrambled egg and toast with two small pieces of chicken and some fresh fruit. Maybe they had a bad day or one should have breakfast at 6 o’clock instead. I don’t know and I won’t know since I cancelled our next reservation and changed it to another hotel. We had dinner at the hotel the night before which was nice to be fair.

The room was clean, had good facilities, and the bed was comfortable.

However, the service was disappointing. They only provided two small bottles of water per day for free, and when I asked for one extra bottle late at night, they refused, saying they could not give more than two bottles per day. Even though I stayed two nights, they didn’t try to accommodate my simple request or make any effort to make guests happy. Also, there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, and it was not available at the hotel. I ordered food for dinner as well, but it did not taste as good as expected. Overall, for the money paid, the service and quality were not worth it. The hotel should improve their service to match the price.

Mr. Al and all the staff provided excellent service. They were polite, cheerful, and welcoming. The room was clean and perfect for a relaxing stay 😊

The mosque next to the hotel make you wake up at 4.30, listening to the muezzin for 30 minutes. The mainroad is very noisy all night long

Very comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The roof pool was large and well kept. The air conditioning worked well.

Breakfast didn't cater to European taste, i.e. mainly Indonesian food. Staff tried to get us what we asked for. If you came down near the end of breakfast they were already clearing away.

We stayed with our 4 children and really enjoyed the the hotel. The staff were all excellent and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good, typical for the location so a few less western bits on the buffet. We would definitely recommend.

Nothing all was great value for money.

It looks simple and convinient. Just what you need for a good rest, which is a nice meal and a nice bed.

The extreme noises from the night life on the street below. Especially the traffic noise from the mopets and parking regulator.

The bed was comfy, the breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly. Went swimming on a monday morning before breakfast and had the pool to myself.

The sheets were stained. Please throw them away, I expect more for that money. Also don't understand the positioning of the sink. It's quite far but close to the sink, which is not very practical.

please improve how to treat guests well. I don't know why that day was like that. Hope the hotel can improve the management to ensure the comfort of the guests
