Two nights we stayed at the Four Point by Sheraton Hotel Medan, we had a wonderful experience. The staff members were warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable. We are very satisfied with the service and look forward to staying here again!

Besonders freundlich war Erwin vom Frühstücksrestaurant, der mir einen sehr guten heißen Ingwertee gebracht hat, als er merkte, dass ich erkältet war. Insgesamt alles sehr sauber, sehr guter Service, nettes Personal.

Heel mooi en chique hotel met een mooie gym en fijn zwembad op het dak. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en de kamers zijn erg goed.

Prijs van eten en de laundry is een stuk duurder dan op andere plaatsen in Indonesië. De rekening voor de was, was een vervelende verassing bij uitchecken.

Mr Ezra the housekeeping dept kept our room clean and neat daily. We were impressed with his work and outcome. Breakfast spread was wonderful and delicious!

The renovation road works infront of the hotel has blocked access to minimart and Starbuck cafe.

L’accueil très chaleureux, le bar avec terrasse extérieur et les chambras très spacieuses et bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner varié fait également de cet hôtel un excellent établissement.

Staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast was one of the best I've had in hotels in Sumatra, especially the Lontong Medan was nice.

The location was not amazing, but also not bad.

La ubicación. Si ya de por sí la ciudad es un absoluto caos, alrededor del hotel no hay nada de interés, ni centros comerciales. Por ese motivo para ir a cualquier lugar se necesita un transporte, porque caminar por esa ciudad es una pesadilla.

Our Chin Gang of ten stayed here for a 3N/4D round of three golf games in Medan. The hotel is close to a number of popular tourist stops. The hotel staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. Ms Anggi,a receptionist,went out of her way to provide information and help. The food was good and value for money.

I love that the staff was very friendly especially Erwin (or Edwin) at the restaurant. Should give him a big applause with his gesture to the guests. The room was clean and not smelly as well as the amenities. The bed is king size and the room is full carpet (one of my terms & conditions). The receptionist was well manners to upgrade my room to business class because of the leak on the window in the room I booked. Most importantly, the receptionist was really helpful even tho I arrived very late (past midnight) without advance confirmation. I will consider staying at this hotel again if I'm around the area. Plus, my husband and son like this hotel.

The location is not near to hunt local good food by walking distance. The breakfast was fantastic. My son loves their waffles. However, staying for 5 nights, expect a more interesting variety of menu on the buffet site and a more variety of the traditional nyonya kuih.

Obiekt nowy. Bardzo ładny cichy zewnętrzny basen na 2p. Odpowiednia temperatura wody. Wygodny do pływania (prostokąt). Pyszne śniadanie. Znakomita obsługa zarówno w recepcji, w restauracji jak i na poziomie managementu.

It could be a little loud at times in the corridors, but nothing to stop me sleeping.

I was leading a group of six people and all were very pleased to stay there. Breakfast catered well for group with 1vegan and 1 coeliac.

We had a very pleasant stay at this town hotel. Its central location made it convenient to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. The hotel offered excellent value for money, and we would happily stay here again. Too bad we have to check out early due to our morning flight.

Coffee House was too small to accomodate guests for breakfast especially during peak season. It got so bad on the second day that a family of 6 had requested to share my table meant for 4 persons with me. I couldn't enjoy my breakfast in peace as they started pulling chairs to surround me. I couldn't enjoy the nice food as I only thought of getting out of there quickly. There's no restaurant for lunch or dinner other than the coffee house. 😫

Wir waren 2 Nächte zu An- und Abreise in den Dschungel dort. Die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt, aber für den kurzzeit Aufenthalt ausreichend.

Really enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Medan. I’ve stayed here before, so coming back this time felt familiar in a good way—and I decided to go with the Junior Suite for a bit more space and comfort. The room itself was really spacious, with a nice classic-meets-modern vibe that feels both cozy and elegant at the same time. One thing I really appreciated was how complete everything felt in the room. The facilities were well thought out, and the amenities were quite varied and actually useful, not just the basics. It made the whole stay feel more comfortable and effortless. Outside the room, the facilities didn’t disappoint either. The pool area is spacious and has a nice city view, which makes it a great spot to just relax for a bit. The fitness centre is also well-equipped and properly maintained, so it’s easy to keep up with your routine. I also spent some time at the lounge and restaurant, and the food quality was solid with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a really pleasant and easy stay. Everything just worked well, and it gave me the kind of comfort I was looking for—definitely a place I’d come back to again.

This hotel represents exceptional value for money, with quality rooms and outstanding services. I stayed 3 nights in April 2026, and i have wonderful view on the 8 floor. This trip was combination of business and pleasure. The breakfast had a range of options, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. However, it would be nice if milk was refrigerated, as with other Marriott group properties in Bali. There is a supermarket across the street and very large hypermarket about 5 minute walk from the hotel. An excellent bakery is 2 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is not near major shopping malls, but they can be easily reaching via a grab taxi for about $2 in 10 mins. The bed was super comfy and the armchair was great. However, the desk height was not really appropriate and not sufficient for business work. However, I completed most work in the armchair with pillows for the laptop.. Excellent range of TV channels including BBC and CNN. An ice bucket costs 50,000 IDR. ($US 3) I used the pool which was great on 2nd floor with city views. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on extremely busy road and be careful when walking on the sidewalks (footpaths), it can be easy to fall. Still, I would highly recommended this hotel for the price paid and outstanding service and room quality for 4 star establishment.

Less than an hour’s drive from the airport. This hotel is incredible value for money. The room was above my expectation for the price I paid. It was very comfortable and exactly what I needed after a long journey from the UK. All staff were incredibly kind and courteous. I didn’t get the name of the man who checked me in on reception, but such a lovely welcoming person to meet after a long travel day. Erwin was very helpful to me at the restaurant and so was Vani when checking out. Great selection at breakfast. Also really handy to have an ATM just downstairs and a supermarket directly opposite.

Only request would be to label the allergens at breakfast. I am allergic to nuts and it wasn’t always easy to tell what was safe to eat. I’m also sorry my flight was so delayed so I couldn’t make more use of the facilities at this fab hotel. Highly recommend

The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is tasty and they change the menu everyday. I love their lupis.

The staff are polite and welcoming. The room was a good size, the bed spacious with a great bathroom and great shower. Breakfast was a feast. There was something for everyone. The staff were accommodation and a special shout out to Nicholas for patiently guiding us through the local dishes and offering dishes to try.

The staff were amazing. Could not be more helpful. We were encouraged to try Indonesian food which we otherwise might not have done and found it excellent. Vani on reception was extremely helpful when I lost my debit card leading to it's recovery.

Not the hotel's fault but some noisy inconsiderate guests kept us awake until late

As a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy Member, I always get an automatic upgrade to my room which is appreciated. Efficient check in and out. Breakfast has also improved a lot since my last stay. Only negative is that the drink vouchers are only for soft drinks.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities were perfect for our short stay. The breakfast choices were great as well. Several of our team commented on how good the gym and pool was.

We loved Four Points even more. We stayed for two nights and also tried their in-room massage service. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, the internet connection was reliable, and the breakfast selection was good. The staff were warm and welcoming. We hope to return in the future, ideally when they have a dedicated spa area instead of only in-room services.

High quality modern hotel with outstanding Indonesian hospitality. Generally I have low expectations with Four Points given such mixed experiences around the world but this one stood out. The staff were universally excellent. Special mention to David in restaurant and lobby who was super helpful and courteous with our unique request to prepare a cake and bring to our car via Whatsapp as we were in a rush to a meeting. Truly hospitable Indonesian service. Lovely Samudra also who prepared the room immaculately. Despite efforts the mosquito situation in lobby and bar area is quite bad - this is seemingly an issue in all Indonesian hotel lobbies and makes it uncomfortable for foreign visitors which mosquitoes seem more attracted to. I don’t want to get dengue in a hotel lobby! Room modern and well equipped - arguably this is a better place to stay than the higher tier JW Marriott which I had experienced the weekend before where the rooms are aging. Will be back!

Stayed at the Four Points Jakarta for a night . Near to the Gambir Train Station. Needed to get information for the train to Bandung. Reception service offered excellent service in navigating the website. Aby at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and patient. Helped me get my train tickets. Great location to get around but somewhat noisy due to the Jakarta traffic. Would definitely stay there longer next time.

Leider wurde uns bei Ankunft nur ein Raucherzimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Zimmer waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit Brandflecken auf dem Teppich und Sessel sowohl Lampen und sehr verqualmter Luft sowohl im Flur als auch im Zimmer. Selbst wenn es sich um ein Raucherzimmer handelt, ist das nicht der Standard, den man bei Four points bei Sheraton erwartet und gewohnt ist. Sauberkeit sollte auch hier oberste Priorität haben.
