Breakfast was below par, many of the servings were empty and not refilled. The crowd was too big. Breakfast used to be better previously with western element eh bread, pastry, croissant etc.

Breakfast was chaotic with my items not replenished, less western eg bread, croissant, pastry. Egg station too was dissatisfactory, eg omelette was plain and very small. Ordered room service but didn't get member discount. The banana split ordered served on a plate and ice cream already melted

The price was good and staff friendly.

The location was poor , the towels grubby , noise proofing not existent and pool and bar area like a children’s party room

I was welcomed by Ms Valencia at the reception, my check in was smooth and cheery. She was exceptionally courteous and very responsive to our needs. Absolutely fantastic service by all the staff. Beds were very comfortable and location convenient.

The hotel location is convenient, and the room booking process has always been smooth and normal. I personally, as well as my friend, have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and never faced any issues before this incident. Our previous experiences were always fine, which is why this situation was even more disappointing.

One night at around 11:30 PM, we planned to go out together. One of our friends, who was staying at the Ibis Hotel and is a heart patient, informed us that he needed to return to his room to take his medicine and would come back within 20 minutes. After he went to the hotel, he suddenly became unreachable and went offline. Considering his medical condition, we became genuinely worried about his health and safety. We immediately went to the hotel reception and politely requested the staff to confirm his well-being by calling his room. Instead of assisting us, the receptionist behaved irresponsibly and unprofessionally. He provided false information, claiming that our friend had been inside the hotel since 10:00 PM, which was clearly untrue as he was with us outside until 11:30 PM. Despite being informed about a possible medical concern, the receptionist refused to call the guest’s room and responded rudely, showing no empathy or sense of responsibility. The situation became even more disturbing due to the behavior of a staff member named Bea. She sent a direct WhatsApp message to our friend stating, “Some mad people came to our hotel asking about you. Do you need security?” This message was highly inappropriate, disrespectful, and misleading. It misrepresented us and escalated the situation unnecessarily. More concerning is the fact that a hotel staff member was directly contacting a guest on personal WhatsApp, which raises serious questions about professional boundaries, data privacy, and staff conduct. Hotel employees should never engage guests through personal messaging platforms unless strictly required for official purposes and approved by hotel policy. This behavior felt intrusive and unprofessional. Our concern was purely about health and safety. Our friend is a heart patient, and the staff ignored a simple request to call his room, showing a serious lack of care for guest welfare.

Everyone was so helpful and happy. Nothing was too much trouble. Bed comfortable, the room was big, the shower was good, and the coffee was supplied. Pool was clean.

There was traffic noise but after 23-00 it went quiet. The pool was cool but once in I didn't notice.

Bathroom was great. Beds were comfy. There's a safe so you can store important items. They provide complimentary drinks in the lobby.

Breakfast could have more options. Operation hours could be an hour longer.

There is elegance in simplicity, and kind staff make every task easier.

Thank you for making my sister's birthday and celebration even more memorable. My sister was happy and amazed when she entered her room. Thank you again, Ibis Styles Medan Patimura. The room was clean and fragrant, very comfortable. The service was also good, which made me even more impressed. Eating in the restaurant was very comfortable and the food was served quickly. The breakfast menu was also varied and the taste was also quite good. Hopefully, the High OCC hotel will be even more crowded.

Stinky pillow and sheets feel itchy

As the 2nd Accor property in Medan I thought I would stay at my first IBIS for a couple of nights. The welcome was warm and staff throughout were helpful and courteous. My room was right at the end of the corridor, as I had politely requested and ensured a quiet stay. The decor was modern and exactly as it looked on the website. There was everything you could wish for in terms of desk, comfy chair, tea and coffee etc. You are not paying for luxuries after all. Wifi was responsive and reliable in both the room and common areas. The only improvement I would make were the pillows were very, very soft and offered no support. I did have a very sore neck waking up! Breakfast was fine but we didn’t return after our first visit; just not for us. All in all it offered a clean and nicely appointed place to stay, at a great price.

For many times to stay at this hotel, I really appreciated to all of the staff with excellent service. There is no reason to make a bad comment. Thank you for everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite pricey for what you get. They say they have 2 pools, but there's only one. Very small gym for such a big hotel. Slow internet. If you're vegetarian, I wouldn't recommend eating at their restaurant! I ordered from the vegan section of the menu and was served a dish with chicken & fish...

Good basic 3 star Ibis style hotel, good reception staff, hotel reception including public toilets are very clean Rooms , are all very clean and comfortable beds, great Aircon, very fast WiFi, modern smart TV, with connectivity to apple TV, netflix to YouTube ++++, they also have safe deposit boxes and cooler box fridges in all rooms The hotel has an indoor swimming pool on the 1st floor, gym, and meeting rooms. And non alcoholic bar Room service is fast and efficient normally takes 20 mins from order to in room delivery Breakfast is a good variety, and hot

Stayed at Ibis Medan like two weeks ago and all I could say is Ibis Medan hotel is a great choice! The room was clean and comfy, the food was delicious and the staffs were friendly, especially Louis at the retaurant that providing us an attentive service and Valen who did the checkin process with her friendliness and helpfullness making our stay enjoyable. Amazing hotel, near to town centre, good service and they have cuisine of local food. They hotel concept are Modern and Trendy with modern meeting rooms. Nice & friendly staff. Full Facility and money value. Can not wait to visit this hotel again

Staying here for 3 days, all good, the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good,try the BBQ dinner, also good! The staff responsive and helpfull. My family and I enjoying the atmosphere and staying here. If I can suggest, need to provide the toilet in Pool area, (not beside the function room) because of the shower room doesn't have toilet seat or urinoir, so the black rubber mat keep the bad smell from people's pee in shower room. Thank you!

Lovely room for a short stay, breakfast was delightful for an Ibis this size. Staff was incredibly helpful, and a great location for going about Medan.

The Swimming pool was slightly different than expected from what is shown in the picture, but still lovely. It looked nicer on the pictures. Would still come back :)

The hotel comfy, clean and satisfying. The food tasted good, the receptionist fast response and customer oriented. Keep up the good work for Ibis hotel. We were welcomed by very friendly, polite and professional staff who are very helpful if needed. Room was decent size, modern, perfectly clean and comfy with great bed and nice pillows incl. bolster pillows. I don't need anything else from the hotel room for 1 week. Housekeeping staff was very polite also. Breakfasts were really good and above expectation. Furthermore the hotel is conveniently located in Medan downtown but neighbourhood is not noisy so we could have good sleep. I really don't think there is hotel with better value for the money in Medan and I can highly recommend it.

Pool was dirty but remained open dispute workmen drilling and working with cement around it. Some staff were unfriendly. No option for adjoining rooms for our family which made our stay awkward.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Ibis. Smooth and quick check in process, great service from the staff, the staff very nice and helpful and easy access to central city, shopping centres etc. For sure, Ibis will be the first option to stay when I visit Medan.

I like the breakfast. It was good to have a coffee machine in the breakfast. I ate some fried rice and fruit juice. I enjoyed my coffee very much.

I suggest putting a milk beside the coffee machine. It would make me fully satisfied with my coffee.

My business trip for a week in this hotel was amazing. Staffs were very welcoming and accommodating. Room is in amazing conditions with breezing air con and they even use refillable glass bottle in room to prevent using too much plastics, water dispenser is available near my room Welcome cake as a member also delicious even come with fruits😁 Recommended!

excellent service from checking in to checking out, my luggage was treated and stored well, until checking in until I got a room. Room is clean and located in our request, non smoking and high floor. thank you to Ms. Valencia & Ms. Mitha for you warm welcome during the check in time. However, meet the manager Ms. Rosity, thank you for the courtesy welcome. Feels home. however, they say Medan is "special hard attitude" but in Ibis Styles Pattimura, Medan is level up.

The staff is extremely helpful. The restaurant has a limited menu. The buffet breakfast was good, but the same thing every day. Prices are a bit high. Wasn't told beforehand that the pool was closed. No guide for the TV remote But, for a 2 or 3 day stay it's ok

The pool was a bit of a let down. Was a strange colour, so didn't seem very clean. And the gym was very small.

Good service, room and facility. Stylist concept for interior. So many spot for take photo, lobby, cafe and swimming pool. Recommend for next stay with friend or business trip. Food and drink full of variety, taste was good and for presentation too
