老板夸张的友善，永远保持着微笑以及客气，让我都有点不好意思了。这是一栋很老的建筑，刚进去甚至有点担心里面的状况，但维护的算是很不错的。尤其是考虑到这个价格，我认为背包客应该感谢这个老板。周围走5分钟即是地铁站和大片商区，吃饭喝咖啡选择很多。也可以慢慢走路去开罗博物馆，30分钟左右。 我应该还会回到这里。

淋浴间水压略有不足，如果能改善将是极完美的。

Обратите внимание на то, что это не Hostel, а Hotel. На Google Maps они расположены немного в разных местах и нужен именно Hotel. Из плюсов: до метро 2 минуты и бесплатные завтраки (хоть и небольшие, но за такую стоимость и это отлично). Также по моей просьбе удалось взять чайник на ресепшене.

Немного шумно по вечерам, так как окно выходит на оживленную улицу.

Tutto lo staff di una cortesia e simpatia più unica che rara. Tutti compresa la ragazza che si occupava della pulizia delle stanze. Hotel pulito e con il fascino di quelle strutture che traspirano storia. Metro a due passi così come via piena di ristoranti e bar. Consiglio vivamente! Anche il prezzo ottimo.

Tutto perfetto

Hotel situato nel downtown del Cairo, struttura un po' datata ma nel complesso carina. Lo staff molto disponibile per eventuali domande e necessità, in particolare Salah è stato molto gentile. Camere abbastanza spaziose, letti comodi.

La reception è un po' buia e l'impatto è un po' strano, superato questo l'hotel è carino.

Remek kis hotel közel a metróhoz. A recepciósok mindenben tudnak segiteni. A takaritónő is jól végzi a dolgát, nagyon tiszta a hely.

Good hotel close to center and metro station. The staff is very kindful. The receptionist is very helpful. The hotel is very clean. The cleaning lady does her job well.

Everything is bad, I booked 3 single beds, and we got 1 double bed, worst experience in egypt. What made me even angry was when I saw one person checking out from a 3 single beds room. I believe that was the room we booked. I didn't sleep at ALL.

Centrally located, 100m from Attaba Metro Station; short walk to a few very good restaurants, friendly staff who speaks English, 24-hour front desk, clean facility, good WiFi and hot water shower, easy check in and check out.

Honest basic accommodation in the City Centre. Big room. Close to markets. Worked well for us for a couple of nights.

1. The building was too old. 2. The cupboard was scary. 3. The lock of the washroom did not work properly. 4. No lift until 2nd floor. 5. The breakfast was without basic things, like eggs and tea.

Very basic, but what you pay is what you get. For short stay it works OK.

The hostel locates in a very convenient location that we can walk and uber to places easily. The man who works at the front desk (about 60-70yrs old), he is a super kind and lovely man. For his help, we can take uber at 2am without cash require from uber driver. On the day we stay, unfortunately, the bathroom didn't work properly. We didn't have hot water, and the toilet was hard to flush.

There was no toilet paper or towels, a guy who was smoking in the corridor knocked on our door at 4am to try to sell some to us. I couldn’t sleep because of the smoke and the noise of the ventilator from a room close by.

I keep coming back here, the place is comfortable and the staff is wonderful!

Only the location

The building is very old. It was renovated, but massive works required. The doors doesn't have normal lock, furniture are too old to use. Though bathrooms are renovated, water clogging, lick etc are there.

The Staff, esp. the receptionist, cleanliness, accomodatingour requests, welcoming attitude from all personnel. Good wirking AC. Basic but nice breakfast. Excellent location that is close to all amenities esp. Cairo subway and metro lines.

The beds were nice but outdated and relatively narrow. Room furniture is outdated as well and the light above the wash basin in the room was not working.

Salah it's the most sweet person that you can search in Cairo, he is always ready for help you. I enjoy our stay in city hostel. All was to clean is near for the restaurants, metro and downtown. Salah let up that we give in the hotel our suitcases after the check out while we continue discovered the City. Thanks a lot Salah

The breakfast was so basic but is ok

It’s a little bit old and smells like smoke but the people working there are nice and it’s cleaned very regularly. I think it was a first good place to start my trip.

Hotel spartano, ma tutto sommato buono. In camera è presente il lavandino, mentre i servizi sono all'esterno. Per muoversi occorre utilizzare Uber.

Nice people managing the structure. They can give you honest info about the city. Comfortable rooms. The bathroom was supposedly shared, but almost always available. You are in the middle of the city, you can decide if you want to enjoy the lively (maybe for someone stressful) chaos of small old streets full of people, or if you want to immediately enter Attaba metro station.

Budget friendly solution not too far from Downtown Cairo. Thank you Salah for your attention, from check-in to checkout. I would recommend this accommodation for a short visit to Cairo. Thank you again Salah.

Linen were stained and I found long black hair on top of the beds.

The staff. They were so kind. Breakfast was simple but I enjoyed it.

The hotel could use some renovation. It’s also situated in a busy area and could get noisy but it didn’t bother me much at all.

Bon séjour juste la seule petite remarque que je pourrais faire quand je suis arrivé dans les toilettes il n’y avait pas de papier j’ai demandé du papier pour les toilettes et la personne qui m’a ramené le papier toilette m’a demandé de l’argent j’ai trouvé ça totalement déplacé de demander ça à une personne qui a payé l’hôtel c’est des choses qui ne se font pas c’est la seule remarque que je pourrais faire

the property need some updates. We stayed in a shared bathroom room and it was difficult to do a shower with a baby. There was no air conditioning and at night was very cold.

Good value for money. Easy access to Metro and Busses.

In my opinion Attaba is not an ideal spot for exploring the city. Almost no food options and noisy because of the oriental market. That has of course nothing to do with the city hostel.

Clean private room for a good price near the metro station

Overall good experience and I recommend it. The staff are very respectful and helpful. The room met the expectation. The internet is good (most of the time). The lack of toilet paper was upsetting. The area around the hotel is very noisy during the day, and not very clean, but it's also right next to Attaba metro station where you can either ride Green Line 3 or Metro Line 2, it's also 10 minutes walk to Ramses train / bus station, downtown, or the Nile/Zamalik which are also accessible by metro.

Location wasn't the best because of the busy market surrounding the accommodation. Also didn't feel like much of a hostel because there was no common room.

The price.

The location is a really big problem. No taxi driver seemed able to find it, and getting a taxi ro the train station was a real hassle. We almost missed our train. Not really a downtown location as advertised. If you don't speak Arabic, you definitely will struggle, as we did. Staff are very friendly but otherwise, there is not much to recommend about the place.

Salah is a helpful manager and the hostel is a good value for money.

Super vriendelijk personeel. Stille kamer. Alles is goed, zeker voor die prijs. Tegenover is de metro. En taxi’s stoppen aan de lopende band. Echt op zijn Egyptisch dus verwacht geen westerse luxe. Wij raden hem aan 👍👍

Great location and extremely nice staff, simple but regular breakfast in the room.

Beds are covered with plastic. One bed had "some animals", so the person sleeping there was full of bites. Area is very busy even in the night.

Salah was very nice and welcoming. We had to check in at 4am in the morning and he welcomed us and that was perfect to just have a room and a bed to fall asleep. The localisation is great, close to the city center, the Islamic area and the metro. Thanks a lot for everything!

Everything is good

I always feel very welcome each time I stay at this hotel. It's more like my second home, and the environment is very safe and friendly. I would like to thank the following staff members: manager Sayed, the father and son Abu Ahmad, manager Salah and his younger brother, and the nice housekeeping ladies Um etc. They always go extra miles to satisfy my needs.

Mr. Salah, the manager is a very friendly, kind man. He’s so helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast is ok but the lady who serves the breakfast is so kind and friendly. She really makes your day with her kind smile. The location of the hotel is fantastic! It’s only one stop from Ramses station and it’s right next to two metro lines so it’s very convenient to get around.

The facilities, such as the shower and toilet are ok, but for the price it’s a good deal. Breakfast also isn’t much to write home about but again, for the price free breakfast is a great deal.

It was my second stay here, all good, helpful staff, clean room, good value!

It's cheap and the people are very helpful when they understand you.

The communal shower and toilet aren't very clean, the host doesn't speak English that well so it's hard communicating with him to get information for example.

I always come back to stay at this hotel. The most important thing to me is that it makes me feel safe and reliable. All the staff are so nice, and they have been working there for a long time. Each time I come, they remember me and make me feel like a home. Salah, Sayed, Abdelrhman, Nahed and her 3-year-old cute son. The other breakfast lady, whose name I don't know, has also been working there for a long time. It's good that the manager, Salah, speaks English and helped me a lot. The location is in the center, walking distance to everything. The hotel rate is good, including breakfast.

Place well situated, AC working well and very quiet

This is not an hostel but a hotel, there is no common space. The receptionists got into an argument at our arrival, screaming for 10 min in front of us and in our ears. There is no proper shower

As usual, I always come back to stay at this same hotel. The manager and all the staff are very nice and helpful. They remembered me, which made me feel very safe and comfortable here. Even when I bumped into the precious hotel staff Carlos he also willing to helped. If I want to go somewhere and don't know the directions, they always take me there. I feel very grateful to found this hotel.
