Lage und Frühstück waren perfekt

Dass es nicht möglich war als Hotelgäste das Abendessen im Hotel einzunehmen. Bei unserer Ankunft war bereits alles ausgebucht.

Klassisches Grandhotel. Top Preis/Leistung.

Zimmer im Dach war sehr dunkel mit einem sehr kleinen Fenster. Frühstück am Sonntag nur bis 10.00

Wunderschöne Lage, sehr schönes, großzügiges und komfortables Zimmer, wunderbares Frühstück. Sehr nettes Personal.

Internetzugang schwierig. Immer wieder Neuanmeldung nötig.

La chambre très,sombre ,pas de volets, une climatisation qui fait un bruit infernal,une douche sans pommeau,une baignoire sans rideau et rien pour maintenir le pommeau et le summum,1 seul petit produit de douche en tube.pas de shampooing. Une honte pour 1 établissement 5etoiles et très cher.c un hôtel qui vaut 1etoile et pas plus.

Tout d'abord, l'emplacement de l'hôtel au bord du lac. La chambre très au calme et spacieuse. Le confort exceptionnel du lit. L'air conditionné.

El WiFi es malo y complicado, muchas veces no funciona. El acceso al hotel es extraño, porque tenían cancelada la entrada desde el paseo por la terraza y la cafetería, y hay que dar un rodeo y atravesar el parking para entrar. El desayuno estaba bien, pero no es espectacular, creo que no se corresponde con la categoría de hotel que el Beau Rivage debería ser.

Room is spacious - bedroom is separate from the walk-in closet and bathroom. We also like the big mirrors, and the spectacular view of the lake & the city! Very good location - just a walking distance to shops & eateries. Francesca who helped us at the front desk was nice, friendly, and helpful. This hotel is highly recommended.

Les oreillers : très fin, inconfortable Uniquement du gel douche, pas de shampoing et rien d autre ! On a beau nous dire que le gel douche fait shampooing, ce n est pas marqué sur le flacon ! L hôtel est vieillissant mais propre Il est très loin d un 5 étoiles même d un 4 …

We had a clean spacious room on the top floor, with a walk-in wardrobe and a spacious bathroom, which included a large shower, a separate toilet, and a bath. The lake was visible from the small window. There was a large choice of food for breakfast, including lots of fresh fruit as well as the normal cooked and continental-type choices. The main difficulty was choosing what to have! All staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our long weekend stay there. The proximity to the lakeside walk and attached garden and easy access to the old town through an underpass is a definite bonus.

A very small niggle was that the cup of coffee at breakfast always arrived too promptly for us, so that it was cool by the time we were ready to drink it. OK, maybe my fault, I could have asked the very obliging waiters to delay bringing it. Actually, I also prefer to have a pot of coffee rather than have individual cups brought on request, but I didn't think to ask. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we would happily go again.

Le problème du bruit du vent au dernier niveau qui nous a obligé à changer de chambre. Petits manque dans les accessoires (bonnet de douche, shampooing etc)

L'emplacement au bord du lac. Le calme dans la chambre, l'air conditionné, le lit très confortable. La magnifique salle à manger, vue sur le lac. L'excellent buffet petit déjeuner très très bien garni, le steak tartare délicieux. Le personnel sympathique.

La réceptionniste qui n’a pas voulu prendre un petit sac de déchets, avec pour prétexte que ça ne rentrait pas dans sa corbeille à papier. On s’en doutait que ça rentrait, mais du coup mettez notre sac ailleurs, il n’y a pas que des corbeilles à papier dans votre hôtel. Un peu de bon sens et d’amabilité

Tout était parfait, l’emplacement et la disponibilité du personnel. La chambre était confortable et bien équipée.

Das Hotel liegt an bevorzugter Lage am Neuenburger See mit einem hübschen Park vor dem Haus, nahe der Altstadt und dem Schiffsteg. Das ehrwürdige Gebäude ist in hervorragendem Zustand und mit allen aktuellen Einrichtungen versehen. Ein lauschiger, bedienter Garten lässt Ferienfeeling aufkommen. Die angrenzende öffentliche Tiefgarage hat einen direkten Zugang zum Hotel. Zusätzlich bietet das Hotel dort auch einige separat abgeteilte Standplätze an, welche aber zusätzlich kosten. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell.

Die Erwartungen aufgrund der Bewertungen konnten allein inbezug auf das Abendessen nicht ganz befriedigen. Das Angebot bestand aus einer Bistrokarte, welche vermutlich den meisen Ansprüchen bei der warmen Jahreszeit entsprochen haben mag und fast ausschliesslich im Garten genossen wurde. Wir trafen uns zu Fünft auf der Durchreise nach Frankreich und sassen dann allein im grossen Speisesaal, wurden von einem jungen, freundlichen und aufmerksamen Kellner bedient, dem jedoch die fachliche Ausbildung fehlte, was etwas schade war. Erstaunt waren wir auf der Rückreise. Wir wollten dort zu Abend essen. Uns wurde aber beschieden, dass die Küche geschlossen sei. Offenbar befand sich dort zu dem Zeitpunkt organisatorisch etwas im Umbruch.

Location and the building are beautiful but unfortunately these are the only positive assets of this hotel. In fact, I am the customer of the bar and restaurant since more then 30 years, it was always the pleasure to go there , kind of ritual but now the quality of the place really changed ...Since lets' say 2 years I observe the important decline of the service level and poor atmosphere . Last time I went there , nobody welcomed me in the bar... no flowers , dull impression ( all grey) , new bar counter with fake marble also doesn't help... ( fortunately the Concierge Adel was there always ready to help ). I had a drink on the terrace ; no napkins , no snakes no saucers .., Also the behavior of the staff is not 5 stars staff behavior. I also noticed that the atmosphere between the staff is not great any synergy. Some ancient members of service staff left the place and unfortunately the hotel management didn't' care of recreating the cozy ambiance and welcome ritual. .Following this transformation, also the clients level changed significantly . The soft skills , knowledge of frequent customer's habits are the key points of the 5 stars hotels assets and it makes the difference and should be understood by the hotel administrators and management board. I sincerely hope that the this great Hotel can be again the quality time selective Place. I do not know the stay experience ( rooms ) quality as I never stayed at the hotel , this review concerns the bar and the restaurant only.

It’s actually a lovely hotel in a magnificent location… We had booked a group event here that included an aperitif, dinner in the Grand Salle, and an overnight stay. Already during the planning phase, we noticed that the events department operates in a disorganized manner. That’s why we prepared everything for our event with particular care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the events department and the front desk at the Beau-Rivage largely ignored our precise instructions. Despite clear written instructions, our requests were neither heeded nor carried out. One would expect the event management team at a hotel of this caliber to provide professional support throughout the planning process. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Given the numerous mistakes made by the hotel during our event, we would have expected an apology. However, none was forthcoming. Instead, we received lengthy emails full of excuses. Rather than taking responsibility, they even attempted to shift the blame for the hotel’s shortcomings onto us as customers. Mistakes can happen. However, from a 5-star establishment, we expect the professionalism and grace to accept responsibility for its own mistakes, rather than shifting the blame onto the guest. We will definitely not be booking here again.

Die Lage des Hotels hat mir gut gefallen, direkt am See und gleich neben dem Stadtzentrum. Auch das Zimmer war gut aufgeteilt und verfügte über eine Klimaanlage, ein separates Ankleideraum sowie ein Bad mit separatem WC und Dusche.

Das Parken ist teuer, ich glaube CHF 35.– pro Tag. Ausserdem hatte es auf dem Hotelparkplatz keinen freien Platz mehr für uns. Wir haben dann im Parkhaus nebenan geparkt. Dort war das Parken sogar CHF 20.– günstiger. Es handelt sich um ein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Das Hotel ist allerdings schon etwas älter und entspricht meiner Meinung nach in gewissen Bereichen nicht mehr ganz dem Standard, den ich heute von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarte. Ich mag zum Beispiel keine Teppichböden in Hotelzimmern. Auch das Klimagerät war recht laut, selbst auf der kleinsten Stufe. Das Fenster hatte leider kein Mückennetz, sodass man es nachts lieber geschlossen liess. Gerade nachts hätten wir das Fenster gerne geöffnet, anstatt die Klimaanlage laufen zu lassen. Bei einem Preis von rund CHF 500.– für zwei Nächte für einen Erwachsenen und ein Kind, ohne Frühstück und ohne Parkgebühr), hätte ich von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel insgesamt etwas mehr erwartet.

Chambre un petit peu datée, mais néanmoins très spacieuse

Magnifique emplacement, au bord du lac de Neuchâtel, le petit déjeuner buffet est top et si vous avez la chance de déjeuner sur la terrasse côté lac, c'est que du bonheur. La chambre est spacieuse, très fonctionnelle et calme. Ayant habité de longues années à Neuchâtel, je suis heureuse d'être venue en touriste et retrouvée ma ville et mon lac! Que du bonheur.

Le calme , la situation, la gentillesse du personnel, la taille de la chambre et le confort du matelas . Bel établissement avec une vue exceptionnelle.

Sie versprachen ein hoteleigenen Parkplatz für unseren Oldtimer, haben ihr Wort nicht gehalten, die hoteleigenen Parkplätze blieben unbenutzt. Folge: Parkschaden in Tiefgarage, verursacht durch Drittperson

Dommage que le restaurant ait été fermé le dimanche 2 Août et le midi 3 Août. Dommage aussi qu’en tant que client de l’hôtel il m’a été de refusé de prendre un apéritif sur la terrasse le 1er Août avec 2 amis à 18h30 (pour 30 minutes) sous prétexte que toutes les tables etaient réservées pour le dîner de 20h00 (!????). Pas très commercial comme approche !

I stayed at the hotel last year, so I was in a familiar environment. Beautiful breakfast on the terrace by the waterfront promenade. Parking available with valet parking, although for a higher fee, but compensated for by the lower price of accommodation. Close to the real city center. Very helpful, smiling and always helpful staff in charge of parking guests' vehicles.

A completely useless person at breakfast - probably the supervisor of the breakfast staff. He entertained and served only a few selected guests - unacceptable, and he didn't even look at some or greet them when they came for breakfast. For example, he took away only one fork from the tables after use, he often didn't ask about things from other tables, a really strange attitude, the same thing happened last year. I recommend not to watch your tie so much, but to really meet the needs and requests of ALL guests without exception.
