Quiet, tranquil location. Well decorated apartment Lovely pool area

The villas looked lovely however we stayed in an apartment which although excellent value for money was very noisy. The apartments are on a corridor with reception at the end- no door to reduce the noise. In the afternoon all one could hear was people checking in - each checking usually taking at least 15 minutes ( one took over 30 mins) due to the very helpful information that was given. In the morning there were phones ringing, conversations and check outs. We were in the apartment closest to reception and it was so noisy it was hard to relax during the day. No problem at night though. That said the apartment was good value for money.

Loved the location, the incredible view and space the villa provided. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

There were some flies that were trapped in the villa but messaging Ana and using the bug spray took care of them. The water went out further into the tile than expected, soaking the bath mat.

Ruime opzet en locatie dicht bij Madalena. Je kan er goed parkeren en de bedden en douche zijn erg goed. Restaurant op het terrein is ook prettig en goed. Personeel vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam!

Zwembad werd schoongemaakt waardoor we einde middag net na aankomst geen gebruik daarvan konden maken.

Schön eingerichtete kleine Bungalows mit Blick auf den Pico

Der Pool war mehrere Tage nicht nutzbar. Wasser war grün und trüb. Nachdem der Pool wieder eröffnet wurde, war das Wasser weiterhin trüb. Kinder klagten über brennende Augen. Frühstück eintönig. Kaffee sehr schlecht mit gesüßtem Milchpulver zubereitet. Kakerlaken im Zimmer. Kaffeekapseln nicht im Handel erhältlich. Für die Kaffeemaschine im Appartement gab es nur 2 Kapseln pro Tag (für 4 Personen gebucht und bezahlt). Küche schlecht ausgestattet, zum Kochen ungeeignet. Insgesamt kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Obwohl die Bungalows komfortabel und schön eingerichtet waren, war die Unterkunft für die Leistung, die es bot, überteuert.

Sehr freundliches Personal; tolle, große Zimmer über zwei Etagen (für uns sogar mit Meerblick) und großer, ausgestatteter Terrasse; sehr liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee; die ganze Anlage ist gepflegt und fügt sich gut in Picos Landschaft ein

O pequeno almoço é miserável. Há muito pouca variedade de coisas e o que há é muito artificial. Com pão maravilhoso que há nos Açores, o que serviam eram uns pães frios que se compram congelados e se aquecem no micro ondas. Não limparem o quarto todos os dias também não é uma coisa que goste, assim como não ter oportunidade de mudar as toalhas, que secavam pouco, porque a zona é húmida e não deixa que as coisa sequem de um dia para o outro. A limpeza do quarto no primeiro dia também não era fantástica e o corredor de acesso aos quartos tem um cheiro estranho. Só gostei muito das funcionárias, quer da receção quer do pequeno almoço, muito simpáticas, profissionais e sempre prontas a ajudar. Mereciam que o patrão apostasse mais na qualidade e conforto que proporciona aos hóspedes, para as pessoas saírem mais satisfeitas e com vontade de regressar.

Definitivamente, o pequeno almoço (do pior que já vi) e não terem limpeza diariamente.

Incredible views, authentic to Pico (maximized natural beauty), very responsive staff.

Bedroom was a little tight - not a good place to open luggage. Mattress was hard - I could feel the springs and it hurt my back a bit.

L'entorn es immillorable. L'hotel, a la vora del mar te esplèndides vistes al Volcà de Pico. Es molt bonic i silenciós. Ofereix un bon esmorzar en un entorn de calma. Apartament espaiós i ben equipat.

Contesto tranquillo vista oceano. Si dorme con il rumore delle onde, puro relax. Colazione a base di prodotti locali, appartamento ampio e ben arredato. Molto consigliato il ristorante accanto alla struttura!

Niente di rilevante, in alcuni punti si vede l'effetto della salsedine sulla struttura ma vista la posizione è inevitabile.

Prima en ruim verblijf met airco op Pico. Schitterend uitzicht op Pico aan de ene kant en de Atlantische Oceaan aan de andere kant. Lekker ontbijt in het naastgelegen restaurant waar je ook prima terecht kunt voor het avondeten.

Je zit wat verder overal vandaan dus hebt echt wel een auto nodig.

L'accueil chaleureux d'Anna et Isabel Souza, tres bons conseils La localisation et l'appartement. Terrasse tres agreable. Proximité de la piscine et du restaurant. Acces a la mer.

Es war sehr sauber und hatte alles was benötigte. Die Lage ist wunderbar.

Das Restaurant dort ist etwas überteuert und es war sehr kühl (Klima).

Lokalizacja była znakomita. Z sypialni i salonu mieliśmy bezpośredni widok na ocean. Podobnie było z restauracją, w której były serwowane śniadania

Uważam, że w tak klimatycznym miejscu zabrakło trochę spójności w sensie kulinarnym. Brakowało nam typowych dla Azorów produktów przy śniadaniu np. queijo fresco czy sera z wyspy Sao Jorge, herbaty z Sao Miguel czy azorskich ananasów. Również sama restauracja wieczorem serwowała np. ryby w sposób nieco "przekombinowany" z sosami, które "przysłaniały" ich naturalny smak.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with plush pillows. This would be a wonderful place to relax for a long weekend. However, AzoresGetaways had us on a busy itinerary, so relaxation was minimal. So, we never used the swimming pool, never walked down to use the natural ocean pool, and were too full from lunch to enjoy a full meal at the restaurant. We did have appetizers and desserts and they were delicious. We also had breakfast buffet and although the menu was limited, we always had access to freshly cooked eggs and delightful coffee. What was on the menu was very tasty. We were so busy on our tours that we decided not to rent a car but that left us out of walking distance from Madalena. However, our hotel manager, Ana Paula, set up taxi service as needed, so we always had transportation to get where we needed to go when we needed to be there. Ana Paula is a wonderful human being and was extremely helpful while we were on Pico, and we had a lot of contact with her well before we came to the Azores, so we felt prepared for what to expect when we got there. Nothing could have prepared us for what we saw on the island. Pictures do not do justice to how stunning the scenery was.

Great location in an exceptional area, great cosy appartments. In the wineyards and close to the capital, Madalena. Everything was good. If I go again to Pico island I will stay there again.

Location is a bit further away, but if you have a car it is not a problem.

L’appartement est très confortable et bien équipé. La vue directement sur la mer est extraordinaire. Grande terrase. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, et l’attention très soignée! Ils ont même été acheter du lait d’amandes pour nous. Notre check-out était avant l’ouverture du restaurant, et ils nous ont preparé un panier de piquenique pour manger à l’appartement.

Éloigné du centre ville Madalena, mais à Pico on a toujours besoin d’une voiture.

Location was exceptional with wonderful views: we could hear the ocean from the property. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Accommodation was really beautifully presented, comfortable and spacious.

Die Lage der Hotelanlage.

Leider sind wir mit der Unterkunft in Pico sehr unzufrieden. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden Bauarbeiten durchgeführt, wodurch ein starker Geruch nach Farb- und Lösungsmitteln in der gesamten Anlage lag. Dieser war so intensiv, dass wir Kopfschmerzen bekamen. Zusätzlich war der Lärm durch Schleifarbeiten sehr störend. Aufgrund des Geruchs ist es nur möglich, sich im Apartment bei dauerhaft geöffneten Fenstern aufzuhalten. Trotz unserer Nachfrage wurde uns kein alternatives Apartment angeboten, obwohl offenbar andere Unterkünfte verfügbar waren. In unserer Buchungsbestätigung war ein Apartment mit Meerblick abgebildet, weshalb wir auch davon ausgegangen sind, ein solches zu erhalten. Erst im Kleingedruckten stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass uns lediglich ein Apartment mit Bergblick zusteht. Weitere Mängel betreffen die Ausstattung: Warmes Wasser in der Dusche ist nur eingeschränkt verfügbar und benötigt mehrere Minuten, bis es überhaupt warm wird. Die Herdplatte weist einen großen Sprung auf, wodurch das Kochen potenziell gefährlich ist. Zudem haben wir Schimmel an den Ecken der Terrassentür festgestellt. Auch das Frühstücksangebot ist unflexibel. Dieses wird erst ab 8 Uhr serviert, was sich mit unseren geplanten Aktivitäten überschneidet. Auf unsere Anfrage nach einer Alternative wie einem Lunchpaket wurde lediglich verwiesen, dass wir uns selbst versorgen sollen – obwohl das Frühstück bereits im Preis inbegriffen war. Das Frühstück hat eher an eine Jugendherberge erinnert (keine Haferflocken etc.) Das Personal vor Ort war zwar freundlich, konnte uns jedoch nicht weiterhelfen und verwies uns an die Eigentümerin der Hotelanlage. Diese zeigte sich weder bereit, unsere Reklamation schriftlich zu bestätigen, noch uns ein anderes Apartment anzubieten – obwohl freie Kapazitäten vorhanden waren. Im Gespräch reagierte sie zudem aufbrausend und wenig lösungsorientiert. Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft weder unseren Erwartungen noch dem gebuchten Standard.

Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Appartement hat einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Man hat sich in außergewöhnlicher Art um uns gekümmert.

Nao gostei do wC-fiquei no adapatado sem sequer me perguntarem nada sobre isso. Sanita mal limpa com pêlos de roupa. Não havia guardanapos. Peq almoço médio baixo. Caro para uma noite no inverno -190 euros....

Fenster im Schlafzimmer durfte nicht geöffnet werden, dadurch extrem stickig. Leider haben wir kein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Hätte sauberer sein können.

Não gostei foi de tar a dormir e a empregada tar a falar com os clientes e tarem a falar em voz muito alta e terem a gargalhada acho que deviam de respeitar quem está a pagar e a dormir de esto tava tudo bom

The staff were nice. The setting was beautiful.

The villa was very musty smelling. The bedroom was too small. There was no space for any luggage. The bathroom was very poorly designed and cramped.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The property is truly amazing.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt an der Küste. Wahnsinns-Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer mit Blick auf die Insel Faial. Mit dem Auto ist man in ein paar Minuten in Madalena. Großer Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel. Sehr nette Dame am Empfang, die uns auf unsere Anfrage gleich mit Sightseeing Tipps versorgt hat :-) Das Frühstück im Restaurant oberhalb können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir es leider nicht in Anspruch nehmen konnten. Unser Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick war letztendlich ein kleines Apartement mit Terrasse - vielleicht hatten wir einfach nur Glück oder es ist immer so? Sollten wir nochmals nach Pico kommen, steht dieses Hotel ganz vorne auf der Liste.

Joana and Ana were very friendly and helpful staff. We were pleased with our accommodation – it was clean and had a nice view, with a decent breakfast and a pool for relaxing. They made our stay comfortable and were responsive to our requests. Appreciated their service.

The cameras

The location was fantastic. I loved hearing the ocean crashing all night from my window and the view. The restaurant on premises was delicious and there were adorable cats in the area. Highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay there again.

Excelente localização, vilas decoradas com gosto e muito espaçosas interiormente com espaços exteriores igualmente generosos. Todas possuem jacuzzi. Todo o alojamento está enquadrado na beleza natural desta zona específica da Ilha do Pico. Pequeno almoço excelente, com produtos caseiros servidos com uma vista para a infinity pool e para o oceano tendo como pano de fundo a Ilha do Faial e nas costas a montanha do Pico. O acolhimento no check in e a simpatia ao pequeno almoço são bónus a relevar. Pequeno paraíso de conforto e relax nesta ilha maravilhosa.

As villas, junto ao mar, começam a apresentar alguns sinais de humidade nas paredes, facilmente rectificados durante a próxima época baixa. Pouca arrumação para roupa e malas para quem quer estadias mais prolongadas. Nada mais a assinalar.

Das Restaurant war ausgebucht, so dass wir uns anderen Orts verpflegen mussten. Hier wäre ein Hinweis auf die erforderliche Reservierung im Restaurant bei der Hotelbuchung wünschenswert gewesen.

L’emplacement dans l’île, la chambre face a la mer avec cette belle vue ( beau coucher de soleil), la piscine, le petit déjeuner et la possibilité de manger au restaurant le soir (sur réservation, il vaut la peine, c’était excellent!), la disponibilité du personnel pour nous donner des explications!

Appartamento vista mare con una bellissima terrazza da cui ci siamo goduti il tramonto su Faial. Arredato con gusto e moderno, molto piacevole e comodo anche per la posizione vicino a Madalena e alle vigne. Simpaticissima la signora alla reception che ci ha dato consigli x visita e ristoranti. Ristorante per cena e colazione nella struttura favoloso e raffinato. Consiglio assolutamente. Migliorabile la pulizia

View Location Villa is very comfortable and spacious

Very poor breakfast (no vegetables, fruits are only chopped, hot meal is only eggs, one cheep cheese and hum) Very bad quality of WiFi, weak signal, doesn’t work at bedroom, air conditioner works very bad, it was always hot, poor drainage in the bathroom, only 2 towels per person, there is no conditioner or shower cap, no bathrobes and slippers, no water for free.

Bel endroit récent à proximité de Madalena et d’une piscine naturelle sur l’océan accessible à pied. Très bon petit déjeuner buffet avec vue sur l’océan. Nouveau restaurant très agréable ! Le matelas était un peu dur à mon goût. Petite cuisine pratique !
