ZIN Canggu Resort & Villas

Everything was great! The room was lovely, looks out into the pool. The resort itself is lovely, has everything you need and more. We tried the sauna and cold plunge - was good! We also liked how close it was to the beach and other attractions. The included breakfast at the cafe was very good. Very happy with our experience.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the resort construction right outside our villa/room.

All was perfect. They upgraded my room to sunset and ocean view, snd it was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Food was very good but not the best. Location is one of the best, you can find most of thing around you.

Location was in a quieter area of Changuu - lovely. approx 100mt from beach. I loved the ability to walk along the beach at dawn every morning. The ground floor restaurant was amazing, staff very friendly and attentive. Food - great choices- and for those with food allergens, chefs were consulted and alternatives offered. This made our stay very special. Pool was clean and a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sun or read.

Personally, as with most hotels, the bed was extra firm. I always struggle with this and since at least 40-50 % of a stay is spent sleeping, this is a detractor for me.

Amazing resort, we liked everything, especially the breakfast on the rooftop.

Our room was a bit noisy during night but they were very attentive about the matter.

The location is fantastic. The beach is a short walk away, everything you need is nearby, and yet the property itself stays quiet and calm. The rooms are excellent: well thought out, spotless, clearly looked after. The staff were unfailingly polite and attentive, and over a full week not a single thing went wrong. Two things stood out that you rarely get. The first is the spa on site, priced sensibly by Canggu standards. The second is the cafe, which serves some of the best food we had anywhere in Canggu, again at normal prices rather than resort prices. Nice touches as well: they provide beach towels, the parking is secure, and nobody rushes you at checkout.

Hotel con una estética preciosa, cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle. El trato de todo el personal es exquisito. El desayuno a la carta es excepcional, pudimos conocer al Chef personalmente y felicitarle por los platos. La ubicación es perfecta, al lado de la playa, y a 10-15 minutos de los beach club más famosos. Nos obsequiaron con un masaje de pies de 15 minutos y un cóctel diario en la terraza que tiene unas vistas preciosas. Cogimos una villa por privacidad pero con la cantidad de piscinas y los espacios tan bonitos que tiene habríamos estado igual de bien en cualquier habitación. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Realmente nada. Por mencionar algo que no pudimos usar el jacuzzi para ver el sunset porque cerraba a las 17h y no vimos ningún cartel o zona que lo indicara.

My second time at this hotel, the staff, the cafe and the location are wonderful. If anything isn't quite right they do their best to fix it. Will definitely be back again.

I preferred the room I had last time, but all rooms are still clean and modern.

Everything! We had the Bamboo Villa with Private Pool and honestly wished we stayed longer. We frequented their other restaurant next door called“Heven”, which is also included in our stay for breakfast and OMG. Honestly the best food I’ve ever had and it was consistently good! We all came back for breakfasts and dinners.

The mattress was a little harder than would had preferred. But otherwise we could not fault anything else.

ZIN is een prachtig resort met veel mogelijkheden en mooie zwembaden. De kamer was groot, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. het personeel is werkelijkwaar top!. Het ontbreekt aan niets en ze doen er echt alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Van het regelen van excursies, surflessen, kooklessen, het brengen van een geroosterde droge boterham bij ziekte, en het helpen met het kopen van lokale producten op de markt, verzin het en ze waren er!!.

1 minpuntje; de sunsetpool is echt wel groen en onze badkleding was na 1 keer ook groen. jammer.

Fantastisch ontbijt, keuze op locatie toproof of beneden in het cafe. Menu is verschillend. Ruime, mooi ingerichte kamers, schoon, groot balkon. Meerdere zwembaden. Prima gym. Leuk de dagelijkse gratis cocktail en de 15 minuten voetmassage. Dichtbij het strand en ook dichtbij de winkeltjes. Fijne sfeer, zeer vriendelijk personeel, mooie groene tuin.

Veel verschillende soorten accomodaties. De kinderen hadden een ander type kamer. Regelmatig verdwaald op weg naar hun appartement.

The hotel is beautiful and we liked everything about our stay. From the garden-like feel, the pools, the rooftop bar, the amazing gym, the cafe, the rooms and proximity to Canggu beach which is great for drinks & surfing!

A lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. We really appreciated their kindness and assistance throughout our stay. The only downside was the humidity in the room, which was quite noticeable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay!

I loved my stay here. The staff were incredible. The WhatsApp meant I could text at any time with any questions or requests eg to book a massage or activity. They were incredibly responsive. The resort is beautiful, lush with gardens and was exactly what I needed for a relaxing week. It was in the perfect location near the beach and lots of amazing food options, but still felt tucked away and quiet.

The walls are quite thin/ there is an opening in the bathroom ceiling so I could hear my neighbours’ showers and toilets but this didn’t impact my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zinn - we had a teak pool villa which was lovely. The staff were very helpful, the main pool on the rooftop is great and the cafe food was beautiful. The location is A+ as youre close to the beach but walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We had a massage which was also amazing!

The beds are a little uncomfortable, and the pillows not great. Our villa was a slo closeby to the cafe and co-working space so from 7am we had a lot of noise to listen to all day long and all night.

Un accueil une écoute des conseils … tout le monde est aux petits soins avec un sourire et une gentillesse à chaque instant. La chambre était propre la literie est impeccable, la décoration est soignée. Et que dire de la restauration : un petit déjeuner délicieux servi dans un endroit idyllique avec une vue sur l’océan à couper le souffle. Merci à toute l’équipe.

Établissement de qualité, propre, chambre spacieuse, différentes piscines a disposition, restaurant et petits déjeuners très qualitatifs, tout en restant proche des rues attractives mais au calme. Le personnel est gentil, souriant et toujours un petit mot agréable.

La struttura è bellissima, curata in ogni dettaglio. L’hotel è ricco di piante e la struttura in legno chiaro conferisce armonia all’ambiente. La piscina comune e anche le private sono bellissime. Lo staff è il migliore mai incontrato: gentile ed attento. Il bar/ ristorante è il fiore all’occhiello del resort: piatti e bevante ottime compresi i vari tipi di caffè. Anche la spa molto piacevole.

Nuestra estancia fue fantástica. El hotel es precioso, construido prácticamente por completo en bambú, con un diseño espectacular y muchísimo encanto. Tiene cinco piscinas, por lo que siempre puedes elegir la que más te apetezca y nunca da sensación de estar masificado. Además, aunque está muy cerca de la zona de ocio de Canggu, se encuentra en una calle paralela muy tranquila. Apenas se escucha la música de fondo, por lo que se puede descansar perfectamente. La habitación estaba impecable, era muy bonita y contaba con una terraza ideal para disfrutar del atardecer. Como detalle, cada día ofrecen un cóctel de cortesía, algo que nos encantó. El personal fue excepcional: siempre atento, amable y dispuesto a ayudar. El desayuno también merece una mención especial, ya que era muy variado y de gran calidad. Otro punto que agradecimos es que daban agua embotellada ilimitada diaria. En definitiva, una experiencia de 10. Sin duda volveríamos y lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera que visite Canggu.

Absolutely loved the delicious breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. Could not fault the food, service or view!

Groot hotel met veel faciliteiten en een prima kamer. Het naastgelegen ZINN cafe was erg gezellig en heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbij (ook in het ZINN café) was a la card en voor ieder wat wils. Ligging heel centraal met veel restaurantjes en winkeltjes in de omgeving. We zijn twee keer naar het strand gegaan (100m van hotel). Kan je niet echt zwemmen door de hoge golven en sterke stroming, maar onzettend leuk om naar de surfers te kijken.

Almost nothing. A slight smell of sewage

This hotel is just amazing. Firstly, the location is perfect, just a few steps away from the beach on a main road and with one of the best views on the coast. The decoration is just beautiful - greenery and bamboo everywhere, gorgeous valuable bonsai trees, pools. The room itself was huge, with enough storage space and all amenities one might need. We asked for a quiet room, so the balcony didn't have a pleasant view, but in the heat the air-conditioned room is better anyway. The staff are super nice and engaged. We arrived earlier and were allowed to check in about 1.5h early as our room was ready. You get a WhatsApp message where they are available what seems to be 24/7 for any questions or requests. The welcome drink is butterfly pea ice tea, served on the rooftop cafe, which is a bit posh but has a lovely view. You can pick where you have breakfast, either at the rooftop restaurant or in the Zin cafe below, which is also open to the public for breakfast. We chose the cafe each day, as although the atmosphere on the rooftop was just spectacular, the menu was a bit too fancy, with chef-made dishes, or if you want just plain eggs and bread, you have to pay for any additions to it. But the cafe was the best spot we ate in Bali, both for breakfast and lunch. You get anything from the menu, and the selection is big, plus two drinks, most people have a smoothie and a coffee. We also got a massage and tried a yoga class, a cycle, and reformer pilates, all on-site for a small fee, apart from the first class which is free. We used the jacuzzi on the rooftop and the cold plunge combined with the sauna - it is very nicely made, and staff are available at any time to assist. The sunset from the rooftop is priceless with a good cocktail - one of which is included with your booking! Overall, we could not recommend this hotel more, and doubt anyone will regret booking it.

La chambre donnant sur la piscine, le petit déjeuner à la commande, toutes les offres en extra ( cours de vélo d'essai, massage de pied de 15 minute). Le personnel qui nous a très bien accueilli et a organisé nos tours, cours de surf, et transfert.

De ligging was heel goed, vlak bij het strand in een doodlopende straat , heel dicht bij winkels en restaurants. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. De kamers waren heel mooi en proper met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ontbijt was top!

Zin has excellent facilities (gym, pools, new sauna), breakfast and cafe are outstanding. Staff are lovely and helpful.

Junior suite lacked sound proofing, the wood around the windows has disintegrated. While they tried to improve this by adding a fabric strip, but there are still gaps and sound from nearby clubs was too intense to get proper sleep. Shower head didn’t have good flow due to built up calcification. The treadmill at the gym no good for runners, saw multiple people have issues with it either not working or stopping.

Fantastic staff, great gym and great value for money. Both the Heven restaurant and ZIN Cafe were great for food and drinks! Easy to walk to the beach and other amenities.

Location excellent - beach on the doorstep and 10 mins into town. Lovely staff. Restaurant really good.

Heavy percussive bass pulsing through the room late every night. This isn’t coming from within the hotel but such a shame as made it hard to sleep.

The hotel is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, cafés, and restaurants. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making every part of our stay.
