Lovely, comfortable space. Super comfortable bed! A relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle just a couple of minutes away on the main street. Great location. Plenty of great food and bar options within walking distance.

Despite being mostly peaceful, there was occasionally noise late into the evening from nearby. However, this is typical of Bangkok and not necessarily a shortfall of the accommodation.

Lovely hotel in the gold/jewelry district. Delicious Noodle cart (60 baht for a large bowl) and fantastic fruit cart (20 baht per type of fruit) just outside the entrance. Walking distance to everything. We walked to the river too!

The pool seemed more decorative than useful. But it was clean.

We had stayed here before and had another lovely stay! The room was small but we booked the double standard room for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable bed! Very peaceful and quiet place. Highly recommended! Location is good, plenty of places to eat around and easy to reach.

The bedroom is very cosy, small but it was enough for a few nights. The bed was very confortable and the shower room great! This is a small place but cared for well and offers the necessary elements to make your stay comfortable. Very clean! Location is good. Good places to eat around as well.

J'ai séjourné au Baan Vajra pour 3 semaines dans le cadre d'un déplacement pro : tout était parfait :) On se sent comme à la maison, d'ailleurs la maison est magnifique, l'extension aussi. Je recommande vivement.

The property is very beautiful and very conveniently located.

The property asked for 500 baht as deposit which was not initially disclosed to us. It would be helpful if information like this is disclosed as the time of booking. The rooms were very small although well kept and beautiful.

L’authenticité du lieu, sa décoration, son emplacement, le personnel. C’est un lieu suspendu dans Bangkok sans être isolé.

Pas de nettoyage de la chambre durant 3 jours. Pas de personnel à l’hôtel à partir de 16h. Des 17h30, seul un gardien, ne parlant que thaï est présent. Les prestations sont très nettement insuffisantes

Sijainti ihan hyvä ja talo kaunis vanha siirtomaatyylinen. Kiva tyyliin sopiva sisustus. Hauska kontrasti ympäröiviin pilvenpiirtäjiin. Melu ei kuulunut ulkoa sisälle.

Parvekkeella ei ollut mitään kalusteita. Kiva parveke, mutta siellä voi vaan seisoskella tai istua lattialla. Aamiaiselle piti sanoa kellonaika, emme sen takia kokeilleet aamiaistarjontaa. Uudet vesipullot tuotiin oven ulkopuolelle varhain aamulla, kun vielä nukuimme ja roskisten tyhjennystä ja kahveja yms ei täytetty ollenkaan, kuin kolmen päivän jälkeen kun siivosivat huoneen kerran viiden vrk aikana. Sillonkin parvekkeelle oli jäänyt kaikki sateen tuomat roskat. Sänky oli epämukava. Suihkun vesi vaihteli paljon.

The room was large and exactly as shown in the pictures. Breakfast was generous with a choice of both Thai and Western food, i.e., one of each dish.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour son cadre et aménagement. Tout était parfait , un havre de paix dans une rue tranquille. Un plaisir de retrouver le soir une jolie chambre. Eau minérale mise à disposition. Petit déjeuner disponible sur demande. La piscine est petite, plutôt pour se rafraîchir. Restaurants et street food à proximité

Really clean, comfortable bed. I like that it is a family run hotel and not a big company. Location was good. Would stay again.

They gym could be better.

C'est un Hôtel un peu intimiste. Un bâtiment de style colonial un peu perdu au milieu d'un urbanisme vertical bouillonnant. De petite capacité, on y est accueilli comme dans une famille. Le personnel est attentionné , aimable et disponible pour répondre à toutes les questions et trouver des solutions . Les chambres de luxe sont superbes.

コロニアルプライベートスイート2階に泊まりましたが、離れという感じで完全に出入りが独立してしており、プライバシーが保たれます。食事も平日なら右に数十歩でクッティオ屋台、左に数十歩でカオラッケン食堂、斜向かいにはサブウェイや両替商、ソイの入口にはセブン、すぐ見える範囲にKFCやシーロム通りを渡ればトップスと立地の天才です。プール好きには水風呂的な広さで、日焼けする場所もないので残念かも。バルコニーあり、お姫様ベッドあり、このコスパでこのオシャレさはバンコク随一。ハネムーン利用もおすすめです。

Todo ha sido perfecto.

The rooms are very well maintained. Clean and large. The balcony over looking the pool and pipal tree was beautiful. The cleanliness staff is top notch.

This was our second time and a similar very curt and a non accommodating behaviour by the lady at the reception was a a disappointment yet again. We saw her interacting with other guests of European nationality and while she stated the same non flexible rules to them as she had done to us, her behaviour towards them was very jovial and welcoming. Both the times we’ve stayed with her, she seems to be very unfriendly and cold to us. The rooms however make up for her behaviour so guess o really don’t care much about how she behaves.

This is such a beautiful spot in Bangkok…very traditional & the staff are amazing! Close to everything & away from the crazy night life of Bangkok…very quiet in the evenings. Would highly recommend!

A step back in time with all the modern conveniences. Spacious and clean with beautiful appointments. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. Staff are lovely and pleasant and always helpful.

The furniture is a bit old (not in a charming way), the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, and the headboard was old and broken. It didn’t affect sleep, but you could tell the room had seen better days

Exactly what we wanted, away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas of Bangkok but within taxi or grab bike of it. The staff were wonderful and friendly, the room was spacious and the aircon was needed. Loads of shops and places to eat everywhere and street food on our doorstep. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, would definitely recommend!

Worth taking earplugs, road was quite noisy.

Returning to Baan Vajra is like coming home! Marcus and his team are always happy to see us, they can't do more to make our stay more perfect. I will not stay anywhere else in Bangkok.

Très joli boutique hôtel, bien placé, à 10 minutes à pieds du métro BTS qui dessert les principales stations en quelques minutes. Hôtel au calme dans un quartier vivant. Vous avez un Starbucks et un 7/11 à quelques mètres. Chambres comfortables. Petit déjeuner local très bon. Les gérants sont très professionnels et de bons conseils. Je recommande.

A lovely relaxing place in the middle of bustling Bangkok. The building has an attractive old fashioned feel but is still comfortable and clean. The staff were super helpful and kind. We had a delicious Thai breakfast

The pool is a bit small for swimming and is more of a visual feature but given the boutique style of the hotel that isn't surprising.

Lovely clean, well furnished spacious room. Quiet location within easy reach of the BTS (& quick walk to the river). Great shower. Appreciated refillable water delivery. Didn’t take advantage of the pool or food, too busy racing round Bangkok. 7-11 a couple of minutes away.

It’s a nice quiet location away from the traffic. The room is basic, but has everything you need if you wanna explore the city and just use the hotel to sleep. The BTS is 10 minutes walk. Everything is a bit older, but it’s clean. Staff is friendly, we didn’t have much contact with them but it was ok.

I have to say even the room next the sweet, it’s not noisy than I expected.

Lovely property just off the Main Street avoiding all the noise of traffic. Service was excellent from all of the staff, very accommodating and welcoming. We arrived at 5am into Bangkok and knew we would be waiting a while for check-in. We were able to check in early around 10am which was extremely accommodating of the property as check in normally is 2pm. The rooms are lovey and spacious, and has the nicest bed I’ve ever slept on. All of the toiletries and free water was also a very nice touch. The location is also in a very nice spot. The only thing with the location is you’re 15 minutes away from the station, which can be quite far in the heat. That being said, it was still a lovely location to say in and we would stay here again if we ever visit Bangkok again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

This property is very boutique and nice feel , its close to the State Tower building if tou know where hangover has been filmed . It has lots of earing places around and also massage places . 7/11 s ect so very central and convenient. It may be a bit far to main places if tou want to viait particular places like the pallace temples ect def need to get a taxi and sometimes thats not available duw to crazy traffic . So if you have shorr stay location is excellent . Walking distance to state tower and the cube sky walk . The room was great wveeyrhing you need ,they made it pleasant and clean but veey heavy humidity mold smell .

A cute boutique hotel with homely rooms - the stay was very comfortable.

What an amazing little peaceful retreat this was. After reading the reviews this was exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere small and personal but also luxurious. Room was amazing, we had a private colonial suite and it was huge. Big bed with private balcony. Small plunge pool here also which was great for a cool off after a long day. Takes around 45 mins to 1 hour to get here from the airport, expect to pay around 400bht in a cab/grab. Lots of great bars, restaurants and shops all within a short walk. Bottled water provided fresh each day. Great street food nearby as well which we tried most of it! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a smaller more personal feeling hotel but still in a great location.

Amazing stay, from booking to check out. Blown away by this stay. Location fabulous. Room Divine and bed and pillows like clouds. Bath in bathroom was superb. Love love love and would highly recommend.

Booked on basis of good reviews and keen to explore this district. Everything from booking to check out exceeded all expectations. Beautiful colonial building, beautifully maintained and located down a quiet soi off Silom Road. Leafy grounds with beautiful shaded areas to sit with beautiful vintage outdoor settings. Check in easy and really great explanation of stay. We booked the biggest room with bath in bathroom. Room was large, high ceilings and beautifully appointed. Great comfy king bed and mattress great and pillows joyful with choice of puffy or non Puffy pillow. Everything about this stay was joyful. Located near great eateries and great coffee places. On fringe of bangrak . Loved everything no negatives here.

The staff at the hotel is extremely nice and helpful. Water was delivered each morning. Very quiet.

I booked the best Colonial room here and it was clean and pretty. There was an antique display cabinet which had corners that stuck out so I was careful when walking near it. The pool and courtyard were relaxing and well maintained. My room was clean. It was located in a great area. The front desk closed around 10 PM. The security guard did not speak English. There were three or four loud men staying underneath my room. They loudly talked until almost 1 AM. As a solo female traveller, I did not want to tell them to please lower their voices or stop talking for my safety. I had to be up at 6 AM for a flight. Beautiful hotel with guests that ruined my sleep and stay. There was a hotel info. sheet in the room that said to please be quiet after 10 PM.

Area is ok my wife and I felt safe the only problem for us was it was about 1.5km to MRT or BTS. The TV didn’t have any channels but for the price it was good.
