Super nice Host! Good connection to the Park!

Located off a main road, in a quiet residential side street and just around the corner from the intercity bus terminal. The accommodation is cleaned daily, towels and bathroom amenities are provided and I personally found the beds in the shared female room very comfortable. A simple but delicious breakfast is cooked every morning and the owner Mr Kim is attentive and fast to help with any questions. You have a plethora of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores surrounding you, the local bus that goes to Seoraksan for hiking enthusiasts (plus wherever else you'd like to go throughout the town) and the coast a short walk away with beautiful observatories and temples close by/within easy reach by bus. If you're looking for a peaceful guesthouse to base yourself in, whether it's to explore the wider area daily or take a breather from the chaos of life, then this is the place to be.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in a bunk bed room and found everything to be clean and comfortable and it was even equipped with an AC unit, and basic toiletries i.e body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Kim was such an amazing host, and he personally cooks your sandwiches in the morning which were delicious and Kim was always friendly and made an effort to chat with you. He even gifted us hand-made magnets from shells from the beach which was so cute and something we will treasure. All the facilities worked perfectly and everything was super clean. We were given fresh towels practically every day and the communal area was tidy, easy to navigate and had helpful info of the local area and buses and we were lucky to be among other friendly guests. The location is perfect we arrived from the express bus terminal and it took 7 mins by taxi it also has convenience stores and cafes super close by and the area was quiet to sleep. We couldn’t recommend this place enough it was a joy staying here, Kim thank you so much again we couldn’t have asked for anything better if we ever find ourselves back in Sokcho we know where to go!🩷🩷🩷

The place was cute and clean in a nice location, close to the market and the bus stop. The host is kind. Bed was very comfy.

The walls are very thin. It didn’t bother me too much but if you’re very sensitive to noise you should get ear plugs.

Der Gastgeber Kim ist super sympathisch und freundlich. Er bereitet selber für seine Gäste das Frühstück vor und unterhält sich danach auch gerne mit uns. Es herrscht fast eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Lage ist auch gut.

Die Zimmer sind relativ klein und man hat auch nicht wirklich was wo man die Sachen aufhängen kann. Nichtsdestotrotz kommt man gut zu Recht.

Such a lovely place! It’s like a home away from home, the place is decorated with beautiful details and it’s very clean! You can meet the owner personally and he is really sweet, he can answer any questions you may have about the surroundings, how to get around etc. Location is perfect next to the bus terminal and local buses. Perfect place to meet like minded travellers/hikers! I would definitely stay again <3

The location is great: close to the intercity bus station and also close to the local buses to go to Seoraksan. The host is really kind and makes a delicious breakfast in the morning. Rooms are quite bit and very clean.

The mattresses are a bit thin, you can feel the wooden planks of the bed when laying on them. Also, breakfast was really good but a second sandwich would be nice, specially when you´re going hiking afterwards :)

המארח היה נחמד ונדיב, הסביר לנו על אטרקציות קרובות והמליץ בהתאם למזג האוויר שהיה מעט גשום. מדי בוקר הכין טוסט מקומי וטעים מאד שהיה נחמד לפתוח איתו את הבוקר. המקום קרןב מאד לתחנת האוטובוס, נעים, ומתוחזק היטב.

Sehr netter Gastgeber, ruhige, aber zentrale Lage. Nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Busbahnhof. Markt und Meer auch fußläufig erreichbar.

Struttura ottima, pulita e curata, situata in una zona strategica di Sokcho, a pochi metri dalla stazione intercity dei pullman (arrivando da Seul in bus si arriva all'altra stazione a circa 3 km dalla struttura). Nelle immediate vicinanze della fermata autobus per raggiungere il Seoraksan National Park in 45 minuti di autobus. 15 minuti a piedi dal Tourist Fish Market e Abai Village. Colazione salata ottima (disponibile dalle 8.30 alle 9.30) e dispenser con acqua potabile nella zona comune. Host gentile e disponibile, con cui si può tranquillamente comunicare in inglese. Self check-in disponibile se l'host non è in struttura.

いつもはドミトリーのお部屋を使っていましたが今回はゆっくりしたくてちょっと奮発して1人でのお部屋にしました。とても快適に過ごせました。 いつものようにオーナーさんの作る美味しいトーストとコーヒーがとても良いです。

La maison est très bien placée pour visiter Sokcho, le parc Seoraksan (bus à 3 minutes) et la gare d’arrivée depuis Séoul est à 2 minutes à pied. Le propriétaire est vraiment adorable et le petit déjeuner est très bon.

Le dortoir est un peu petit et la salle de bain/toilettes n’est pas très pratique.

The host was engaged in our stay and often recommended the best options for our plans. We highly recommend it to anyone planning to spend a nice time in Sokcho!

The host is super friendly and makes fresh breakfast each morning. The hotel is very close to both the intercity bus terminal (bus to Busan!) and the regular bus station, from which the busses to the national park leave. Also the room was clean, and bigger than e.g. rooms I have had in Seoul. Daily room service.

Breakfast is rather minimal but freshly made. The rooms are compact, but completely fine for the price.

Kiya was very kind and made delicious breakfast each morning. The dorms were clean and it was close to the bus station.

Not super close to Seoraksan, but easy enough to get there on the bus.

Kim is a fantastic host! There are umbrellas to use when it was raining, my charger wasn't working properly so he lent me one during my stay and breakfast was tasty and all done for me :)

This place was amazing. The owner is really nice and always makes sure you are having a good time. I meet really nice people there. Right next to the bus station. Beds are comfy and the rooms spacious. Breakfast was very good:)

Bardzo dobry hostel - z przemiłym gospodarzem i dobrą atmosferą. Pokoje i łazienka są czyste, jest duża część wspólna, gdzie można usiąść i porozmawiać lub zjeść. Gospodarz też robi pyszne śniadanie

숙소 위치가 속초버스터미널 뒤편이라 이동이 정말 편리했고, 속초중앙시장과 주변 관광지를 여행하기에 최적의 위치였습니다. 사장님께서 정말 친절하셨고, 아침에 제공해주신 토스트도 너무 맛있었습니다. 특히 외국인 여행객들에게도 여행 일정과 관광 정보를 하나하나 친절하게 안내해 주시는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 체크아웃할 때 직접 만드신 조개 굿즈를 선물로 주셨는데, 정말 감동이었습니다. 객실도 매우 깨끗하고 쾌적해서 이틀 동안 편안하게 머물 수 있었습니다. 덕분에 속초에서 정말 즐겁고 행복한 여행을 했습니다. 다음에 속초에 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶은 숙소입니다. 강력 추천합니다! This is a fantastic guest house in Sokcho. We stayed there for two days and really enjoyed it. The host is very friendly, makes breakfast every morning and even gave us a small gift. The atmosphere of the place is also nice. It has a small number of rooms with a common area where you get to meet other guests. The common area also has a lot of information about the surroundings, including places to eat in the neighborhood as well as information about the Seoraksan national park.

Nothing worth mentioning. We enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient location, really close to the central bus station and accessible by bus. A walking distance from a few marks of sokcho. The host was super friendly and the place was really clean. The breakfast provided was beyond expectations.

Bella Guest-house a Sokcho, a 50 metri dal bus terminal per i bus da e per Seoul. La struttura è molto in ordine e pulita. La stanza è grande e dotata di bagno in camera, e dotata di tutti i servizi necessari. La colazione è semplice ma molto buona preparata dal proprietario della struttura, di solito un toast con uovo e verdura. La zona è tranquilla e vicina al mercato del pesce.

I had a very nice stay. I only spent 1 day in Sokcho, and staying at Sokcho Hütte was very convenient to get around the city. The host was very welcoming and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Perfect for traveling alone or with friends!

The 4 bed women dorm room was pretty nice since I happened to be living there alone for a night. The bathroom is clean and bodywash, shampoo, conditioner is provided. The owner is very friendly and makes you a breakfast between 8:30-9:30am. I would definitely like to come back again.

Kim is the sweetest host you will find on your trip in Korea! The place is very clean and located right next to the Intercity Bus Station. There are restaurants and cafes just minutes walking from the hostel. The breakfast sandwich was the best sandwich I had in Korea so far, and the coffee was also really good, not just a whatever coffee. The only down side is that the breakfast starts at 8:30 and it means you will most likely have to skip it if headed to the park for hiking. Kim’s communication was also great before my arrival and during the whole stay, he replies to messages almost immediately.

The mattress and the fact you cant open the window in a room, even though it’s actually there. The lack of oxygen in a room especially with more people staying at the same time makes the stay less comfortable. These are fixable things in my opinion.

Breakfast. Choice of instant coffee or juice. Why not both. Minimal extra cost to the owner. Breakfast at 830 to 930 so you will miss it if wanting to go to the park early which I suggest as it is getting hot. 27 in the park when I was there. I chose this accommodation as they provided breakfast No kitchen. The owner will not let you use the kitchen.

This hostel is amazing. The owner is so lovey and makes a really nice breakfast. When I have my own hostel, I want it to be exactly like this

Cet établissement est situé tout près du terminus d’autobus ce qui facilite les déplacements pour visiter la ville et les environs. L’endroit est propre et paisible et la gentillesse du personnel donne envie de revenir. Le petit déjeuner est excellent!

I really loved Kim’s homemade breakfast egg sandwiches and the overall style of the hostel.

The mattress wasn’t that comfortable, but otherwise everything else was excellent.

I really liked the location and the room of the property. The location was right next to the intercity bus station so you do not need to travel anywhere before venturing out. It was also a 3 minute walk from a bus stop that took you to the top of Seoraksan Mountain if you are planning on hiking. The owner Kim is extremely nice and helped us when figuring out how to get to Gyeongju from Sokcho. His breakfasts were very yummy (toasted sandwich with jam, egg, and cabbage) and I loved staying at his Guesthouse. What a lovely place this was and I was disappointed to not have stayed any longer!

Only thing I could say about the property was that the bedsheets got very warm and hot, I wasn’t sure if those bedsheets were for the summer or winter.
