Momentus Serviced Residences Novena

Great place to stay in Singapore :)

A well maintained building. A few dining options nearby.

The apartments were spacious and clean, the bedrooms a little tight due to the beds, nevertheless enough room to move around. We had balconies attached with ours, the balcony was also spacious, we had washing machines, bathrooms are spacious, the rooms are well appointed, nice and quiet in the evenings no street noise. . The location is perfect just a few minutes walk to the mall and public transport. We had Nana greet us upon arrival she was lovely and informed us of all the instructions we needed applicable to our room facilities. Very safe and tidy accommodation. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Just minors things would helped make our stay more convenient however still no biggie. There was no dishwashing liquid, or soap powder for the washing machine, you have to purchase your own, however would be nice for guests to have at least enough for one wash on their first night stay. Low on toilet paper, and some power sockets didn't work, which was a bit of an inconvenience as there isn't enough of them to begin with. However as we had booked two rooms it didn't inconvenience us too much as we could use the sockets in the other room, but best to check the sockets as soon as you arrive and notify staff. Apart from that nothing to fault the place is one of the best in Singapore and we'd definitely stay there on our next visit.

Staff: Santhi and her colleague - so helpful. with cheerful disposition. Quiet neighbourhood (may not be to everyone's liking), easy to get around. The property I rented had a balcony - this was spacious. Vast majority of what was in the property, I was happy with (induction hob - slightly tricky to work (pictorial laminate on how to use?)

Odd nature of swimming pool (position: by reception - would feel a bit self-conscious), no area for sun lounging - surrounding pool area is covered, shape of pool more - suited for laps). Very small gym. Could do with a small frying pan. Simple balcony furniture would be nice for an evening sit-out.

Walking distance to novena MRT and ME hospital. Quiet and the curtain dark, which the most important for my sleep.

They need to put a new equipment like cattle.

Nana from check in to check out was very helpful and a service superstar. Same with the cleaning crew and security guards. The apartment was safe, comfortable and conveniently located around the Novena area where it’s easy to get around for food and exploring town.

The staff were very helpful and the bed was comfortable

The bed could have been bigger ie a king size instead of queen.

Friendly staff, extra second bathroom helps for the 3 of us. Two hawker food courts 15-20 minutes walk down the hill. Has plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

The location is far from MRT, not convenient and buses are 15 minutes walk down the hill. The master bedroom is very small, no room for anything else, like your luggage. ALL doors were very cheaply made, especially, the closet doors are without handles, very noisy when opening and closing them. Dining chairs need padding, noisy again when using. There’s no outlet if you need to use the hair dryer, in the bathroom! Ladies, how do you dry your hair without a mirror? I think it’s a waste of electricity when using the washer and dryer, especially, the dryer function, after 3-4 hours, clothes are still damp!

Location was good with an easy 7 minute walk to Novena MRT

Soap holders on the shower

Location was excellent. Close to mrt, food centres and supermarket.

The layout of the room was awkward with little space between bed and and wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom was awkward design as well. The apartment didn't provide laundry detergents when other service apartments do. The arrow keys / directions painted on the wall are misleading for drivers who are entering /leaving the property since Shan road is one-way road. Feedback has been given to residence manager so hopefully there will be positive improvements.

The stay was comfy

Location excellent : 10mins walk to Novena mrt. Balestier market Food stalls are 10mins walk to the opposite direction to mrt. The zhongshan mall is 10mins walk away and has guardian pharmacy, NTUC supermarket and lots of eateries.

House keeping was only twice a week and not very thorough ; they didn't refill the tea/coffee/sugar ;they didnt provide packet washing powder like other service apartments do. They also didnt change the dish-cloth or provide new/clean ones.

The facilities are in the room. It is helpful to have a washer and dryer for my guests as they usually stayed for more than a week.

Not at the moment

Location and facilities.

NA

accesibilty to hospital, church, restaurants and mall .

the entrance going to the apartment

The location can connect with bus & mrt to go around. The location have several choices at food stores. The location is quite and comfort after day trip.

I did not like the gym. The size of room was too pack to use.

Location was a very quiet area. Handy to bus and MRT

No tea/coffee etc supplied after initial supply. If I had known this, I would have bought more with me. No pool towels supplied, so had to use same one for showering, as I swam almost every day.

Location was good. The accommodation was nice & clean

Suitable pillows were not provided. Floor cleaning was not good.

Access to kitchen and washing machine. Bed was very comfortable

Able to hear everything going on in the apartment next door due to the vents in the front doors

我经常住，很方便短期小长租

It feels homy. Close to everything I want to go.

Very convenient location and good team

Had to leave early while I wanted to stay longer.

My family and me have a pleasant 10-day stay during our house renovation at Momentus Novena. Room and amenities were good. Staff service are good also although I didnt manage to find anyone to attend to me before work hours. I spoke to someone during the morning and he just asked me to wait until reception come. So a little bit of inconvenience.

Lift is slow and only one is available at one area. Housekeeping is okay but frequency can be improved. My bathroom liquid soap run out for awhile during my stay and I cant get it refilled because I cannot find the housekeeping during other days. And I find that all soap (dishwashing, soap, shampoo) have been watered down.. which is giving the opposite vibe than the premium feel of the room facilities. Ended up buying my own soap.

There is no breakfast provided for us. And we are not informed there is such morning breakfast that cater in the Novena residence. if there is breakfast in the property- guest should be highlighted either they agreed or not to take the breakfast.

Facilities in the apartment was great only we couldn't find any radio channel or radio in the room. Not all guest prefer to watch tv channel. For us we prefer radio Channel too instead of watching movie . We suggest the radio channel can be installed in the tv section where added with TV section.

Great location. Lovely pool. Very pleasant and efficient cleaning staff. Cooking facilities.

No balcony furniture. Miserable and officious front of house staff.

Momentus seems like a condo building that was refurbished to make it to service apartments. Everything worked as expected and fits to the reviews seen and the photos that are published for the studio apartment. Space could be bigger but in general, for a single person occupancy, the room is good enough. I didn't use the kitchen facilities, but I felt that it was equipped well. The full-size fridge is a good addition as well as the microwave. There were a few apartments per floor and I didn’t have any problems at hearing other units conversations or noises, as it was indicated in other reviews. The new washing/dryer machine is perfect for a long stay and made life easier. The ladies in the reception desk on the 2nd floor were always very friendly and accommodating as well as the security guards of the building. The swimming pool is great for a lap and refreshing at the end of the day and no one in there. Grab/Taxi are very frequent in the area and you will have one in less than 5 minutes. Shopping malls and Novena MRT within walking distance with multiple shopping and food options. Cleaning twice per week is good enough.

Not really cons but things that could be improved: - More plugs in the bedside because either you plug the lamp or the mobile charger. Same for the kitchen because you cannot connect microwave and something else at the same time. - The locks on the terrace sliding doors needs to be fixed, seems they are too used or forced and doesn’t lock properly anymore. - The clothes rack for drying is too small/low, so a t-shirt or normal shirt would touch the floor, consider putting taller racks and some hangers in the terrace for drying clothing. - The room could benefit to have a table/chair to work, right now only coffee table in the living room.

It was near novena and was spacious.

The bathroom was dirty upon check in. Staff were arrogant The bedroom flooring had water coming from the edges. My two year old slipped and fell. Upon complaining they offered us alternative units that were smaller than the one we booked. Poorly managed property.

This was a fantastic place at a great price. The staff were super nice and the room spotless and comfortable. Good wifi. I would stay again.

The modern room design and well equipped with fridge, washer and microwave. Two air conditioners in our studio apt.

We arrived at 5pm and were told that they were closing and we were just given the keys and told to complete the check-in the next day. With the result that we didn't know where anything was or how things worked! Very unfriendly front desk staff. The room was really small. The bathroom shelf was tilted and one of my cosmetics bottles slid off and broke. They had this fixed the next day. The room wasn't cleaned well, balcony was dirty, lamp wasn't working. Dust and dirt in between the fridge and wash up sink and also on the ceilings which gave me lot of allergies We ran out of toilet paper and the replacement paper was completely soaked. We dialled 0 and security said he had none. Eventually he found one somewhere and came up with it! All in all not a place I'd stay in again.

Staff and security were friendly and professional. Addressed my concerns promptly. Only thing was the TV, the channels were down or garbled and were not restored after a week. Other than that it was a good stay.

Good stay overall. Friendly staff, quiet, clean, comfy place. Highly recommend.

The room itself was spacious for two people. Had a kitchenette but we didnt use it. Very convenient location. The metro is only a short 10 minute walk or less. Supermarket is only 5 mins away. If you are on a budget, there is a food market (hawkers) about 15 minutes away. Two malls in the area. The room was quiet. They were doing construction about a block away but never heard it through the window. The washer dryer combo is a little tricky to use. The washer takes about 3hrs for a normal wash and the same for a drying load. We eneded up using the quick cycle and hanging our clothes outside to dry. The staff was very curteous and the two days they cleaned the room, they were quick and efficient. I would stay here again for sure! Thr pool looked clean but we didnt use it.

location and overall feel of the premises

Good and clean apartment and room. Quiet too. Recommend this place for sure.

Super clean Nice swimming pool Airconditioning Supermarket and some restaurants in the neighbourhood Enough space

Clearing only on Tuesday and Thursday

Apartment is big and comfortable

Nothing

No breakfast included in the price sadly Location great as journey to changi airport is only 20 mins. Air-conditioned and clean.

Breakfast must be included as I would consider a hotel next time.

With small kitchen

None

The location is convenient

Cleaning is twice per week

The staff was always courteous and professional. The room was small but we'll designed. Never heard from neighboring parties. Liked the Novena area..a lot.

Tuck in a quiet corner

The rooms are not sound proof. We can hear the neighbours even when they cough or sneeze and the smell of their frying fish filled our whole unit which was unpleasant

Amazed at having such service apartment in Balestier area. Good convenient and clean!

Centrally located

The unit is only serviced twice a week. For 3 adults we were only given 4 large towels and 4 small towels which were only changed on a Wednesday and on a Saturday. Furthermore we were given only 4 tiny 30 ml shower gel and shampoo tubes to use in between servicing which was not enough. When I asked for more I was told that It would be an extra charge as it was outside the unit servicing days. We were travelling extensively and due to the heat and humidity were taking showers more than once per day. After having paid a significant amount for the unit this is not how I expected to be treated as a customer. I am not impressed.

Great staff. Great location. Very nice pool. Close to both the bus and the tram.

Lovely shower and good size bedroom. Smaller but adequate kitchen and lounge. TV didn't work so a new one was installed that day. Great views from the bedroom and 2 heatpumps to keep the temperature down 5 min walk to supermarket

More dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. There was 2 of everything but could have used another set The bed was hard, so we went out and bought a topper pad the next day and had a good nights sleep we gave the topper pad to our friends at the end of our stay

Cozy service apartment close to CBD. Few mins walk to Novena Square and Zhong Shan Mall, as well as Novena MRT station. The apartment comes with washing machine + dryer, which was what i was after.

The location is good. Novena has a good connectivity by bus. There are at least 3 good Hawker markets within walking distance. Close proximity to FairPrice, McDonalds and the Whampoa fresh produce market. The MRT is a 500m walk away from the apartments.

There is no overnight receptionist. The apartments are only cleaned 2 days a week and in the afternoon. The cleaners are poor and do not clean properly like in a hotel. The bath towels are threadbare and tatty. The bathroom was left filthy, shower not cleaned and the floor un mopped. There are only 2 lifts. The swimming pool is like large ornamental pond. In my 3 weeks stay I didn't see anyone swimming. It is partly covered and there are no sunbathing chairs or swimming towels. The gym is tiny AND you have to book in advance. The windows in the apartments have no secondary glazing. You will hear birds, road works, cars, motor cycles and trucks all passing close by, as well as the rain. Finally, the washing machine sounds like a pneumatic drill when spinning - just awful.

No breakfast facility

Great location close to all major chains and malls (3min walk) Perfect for temp relocation

More regular linen service

Ok

Close to shops

Another wonderful stay, thank you! Lovely team, friendly and welcoming. Room maintenance is top job done and very easy to get assistance. Quiet area yet very easy to get to local shops and delicious food.

The wall is thin. I can often hear the sound of life next door.

Bed, the space of the unit. Clean and modern

If there was a decent washing machine with a separate dryer. I have one that is both but the dryer doesn't really dry the clothes.

Location to Novena and Zhongshen excellent. Rooms are always fantastically appointed here.

Needs more power points, phone charging, in rooms.

Comfy, clean and modern apartment. Loved the kitchen, balcony, little lounge room and swimming pool. Short 5 minute walk to the supermarket and shopping mall. Housekeeping twice a week was nice.

Kitchen wasn't well equipped with cultery/crockery, we ended up buying disposable plates and utensils. Lacking in power outlets to charge devices and plug in appliances. Walk to the MRT was 15 minutes and very hill-y, a difficult walk to do in the Singapore heat/humidity. MRT was easy to use, but it was around 40mins to most tourist attractions like Marina Bay and Sentosa Island. Left us wishing our location was more convenient.

Had everything required & close to stores

Towel rail falling down. It was not fixed properly but it was fine.

Location to shops was great

Apartment could have been cleaner. Walls were scuffed and marked, bed linens had holes and could smell the septic

Nothing

The room is not clean. Not noise cancelling. The wall is super thin. Also really small. Do not recommend.

Location close to MRT n mall Nice neighbourhood Clean Has washing machine Pantry

The cleaning service didnt change the bed sheet. So we have to tell them to change it. I stayed for 3 weeks. They come 2x a week to clean up the room. It was ok with me. Because I brought my own broom to clean up the room daily😊

The Location was good. All the amenities were available. The kitchenette was with all necessary items, the washing machine was working well and the bathrooms were well equipped.

The cleaning schedule is only two times a week. I would suggest to make it at least three times a week.

i like the location close to supermarket and fast foods

they doesn't service every days and the couches were dirty

Clean and fresh close to food outlets

Very small balcony/not really usable

Good central location
