Hotel Avcilar City

Konumu, personeli, kahvaltısı, temizliği her şey çok güzeldi. Teşekkürler!

Hiç bir şey.

Kahvalti cesidi coktu

Herşeyi muhteşem gerçekten öneririm ve tam aile hoteli

The hotel is located very closed to the Main Street of this small town (district) with plenty of cafes and shops. Metrobus stop is just 7 min walk away. The destination from the hotel to Tuyap exhibition center is about 10 km and 30 min from doors to doors by metrobus, avoiding traffic jams. Great shopping center is a few stops away. There is a big market a few min away by foot with amazing choices of local fresh food. The staff is absolutely fantastic and helpful. The room is clean (cleaning every day) and the bed is comfortable. Teapot iand complimentary water. Fast WiFi. The breakfast is very good on my opinion. Besides, the guy from reception organized very comfortable ride to the airport for me and gave Turkish sweets as farewell gift:). I will choose this place for sure for my next trip to this area again.

The only one thing (but very often in Istanbul and surrounding) - smell of tobacco smoke in the room sometimes, although the rooms are non smoking. I guess probably it comes from ventilation. But it was not bad, I guess this remark will be helpful for people with allergies on tobacco smell. Please note, it is far away from Istanbul center, but perfect for visiting exhibition center close by.

The reception service was excellent, with tea, coffee, and juice offered freely. the staff were very friendly and the hotel were very clean. The location was very good near to Altaylat restaurant which offered delicious and good prices food. And near to best Kunafaa I ever test. Albasha’s Kunafa

nothing

I stayed four times with this hotel. It’s very good stuff and very friendly people and also is a clean hotel and they have very good breakfast and also is close to everything we want.

Hotel usytuowany w świetnym miejscu. Czysty. Personel pomocny. Polecam

Universiteye yakın mesafede olması çok iyiydi.

İnsanları çok güzel , fiyat ve performans olarak baya iyi . Yine gitsem orada kalırım .

كل شيئ

The hotel has a very clean and modern atmosphere. The lobby and common areas are spacious, well-designed, and comfortable, which made waiting and relaxing with family very pleasant. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and always willing to assist. Rooms were clean, well maintained, and suitable for a family stay. Overall, the hospitality and service really stood out.

Honestly, nothing major to complain about. Everything was well organized and met our expectations. If anything, small improvements could always be made, but overall it was a very smooth and comfortable stay.

Parcare gratuita vis-a-vis de hotel. Conducere si personal foarte amabile. Locatie excelenta, multe restaurante si patiserii in zona.

They do have good breakfast clean and well organized

People they are friendly

Hotel is located at the centre of Avcılar just near to E5 and very close to public transport facilities.Staff was great and polite specially Mr.Mehmet,a receptionist.A large variety of Turkish breakfast included in the price.Clean comfortable rooms.Hardly recommended for all guests of greater city of Istanbul.ive being given every day an complimentary coffees and drinks. Thanks guy's

All good.

Everything. Specially the staff. Mr. Mohmet is owsome and very very very helpful and delightful to deal with.

location

The bathroom smells very bad, maybe because there is no enough air circulation

Mehmet was very helpful.

Universiteye yakın mesafede, Avcılarda merkezi yerde olması.

El personal del hotel muy servicial y amable

Our stay at Hotel Avcılar City in Istanbul was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and ideally located, making it easy to access the city’s key attractions and shopping areas. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the outstanding hospitality of Mr. Edorgan and Mr. Mehmet. They went above and beyond in ensuring that we had a smooth and enjoyable stay. Their local knowledge and kind guidance helped us understand the best places to visit, where to eat authentic Turkish food, and where to shop for quality items at good prices. Their support truly enriched our experience in Istanbul. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and consistent, which was a huge plus as we relied on it for planning our days and staying connected. The breakfasts each morning were fresh and fulfilling, offering a great start to our day with a variety of Turkish and continental options. The hotel is quiet, well-maintained, and offers excellent value for money. Clean rooms, courteous staff, and a genuine sense of care from the management made this one of our best stays in Turkey. We sincerely thank Mr. Edorgan and Mr. Mehmet for their outstanding hospitality. Their warmth and helpfulness made all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul – we would gladly return!

Nothing

Hotel is very nice and clean, very near to Tuyap fair center. Area in Avcilar near to hotel is beautiful, full of shops, restaurants and coffees. Hotel reception and bar guys, super educated and nice, they helper me with everything I needed. They booked me a Vito Van Taxi to Istanbul Airport for 2000 Lira, which is a very reasonable price considering yellow cabs were asking 1800 Lira. Taxi driver very educated and speaks english,.

Food, hospitality, staff, and feeling home

Cleanliness needs more efforts

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were truly impressed by the outstanding hospitality we received throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Dogan at the reception made us feel incredibly welcome. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—helping us with directions, arranging our airport transfer, and promptly changing our room when we requested a non-smoking one. His friendly demeanor and constant willingness to assist, including offering drinks, really stood out and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything kept fresh and well-stocked. The kitchen lady was warm and hospitable, making sure nothing ever ran out and that guests were looked after with care. Mr. Zakarya was another highlight of our experience—always available and eager to help with anything we needed, contributing to the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The rest of the staff—though we can’t remember all their names—were also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly made a difference and created a warm, inviting environment. Thanks to the entire team’s dedication and kindness, our stay was extremely comfortable and memorable. We will definitely consider coming back in the future!

Our first room was a bit noisy due to sounds from outside, but the staff quickly accommodated our request to move to a quieter, non-smoking room.

From the start, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. I really appreciated how easy and quick the check-in process was after a long day of traveling. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Mr. Mehmet was very helpful. From the moment of booking till our departure he was constantly assisting us with our requests, arranged a transfer for us and was able to move it as our flight was delayed. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and great service.

Everything was good

It was good value for money. No bells and whistles. The staff were very nice. It was fine for a cheap, one night stay.

The hotel has smoking rooms so the room smelled very strongly of smoke which was unpleasant. There was no fan in the bathroom to take away the steam from the shower and the shower could have been a bit cleaner. The breakfast area looked as if it were still under construction and had a bit of a strange atmosphere. There was a balcony which could be easily accessed by the balcony of the adjoining room which was a bit unsettling.

nice hotel, good location

Very nice hotel, people here are so friendly. Especially Mr. Mehmet, his friendliness, enthusiasm, and professionalism have made our stay incredibly wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I believe you will also be touched by Mr. Mehmet’s sincerity and have an unforgettable journey.

delicious breakfast, nice people.

delicious breakfast, friendly people here.

First of all, very nice and helpful service, every hotel should take an example of such service. Very good location, clean and tidy. Good selection of breakfast dishes.

The only minus was the inability to close the door to the terrace, which meant you could hear sounds from the street.

The receptionist guy Mr Mohamet and other guys were so helpful and provided great help. Thank you guys!

Staff is so welcoming and friendly. Esp Abdullah is so helpful and nice. Enjoyed my stay.

Rooms needs some renovation, else all good.

room service, and facilities in the wash room

Fantastic staff at the reception. Really great hospitality, kindness. We were given tea and water upon arrival. Comfortable room, very good price value ratio and great location. WiFi is also excellent. I highly recommend this small, but really good hotel.

The bathrooms could be improved and more clean. Turkish Coffee would be much better for breakfast.

Very nice hotel!Amazing people!

Very good

Just poor sound isolation, there are roads sound if you have sensitive with sound

Fantastic staff, great location, all is perfect. And forgot: brilliant breakfast ❤️

Excellent and very accommodating staff, they facilitated us with our needs around Istanbul and also gave us free items such as water and Turkish delights. Very clean rooms, warm water, all facilities included.

Friendly and helpful staff

The staff was nice and helpful , and the condition of the room was generaly bad the bed was bad for my back , but generally it's a good hotel for the money value ,and tbanks to the staff for their kindness.

Well, everything was super fabulous in Hotel Avcilar City, starting from Hotel management to housekeeping, all staff are unbelievably welcoming and trying their extra best to fulfil guests requirements. A thanks to Mr. Zakarya, he’s one of the best staff that you will ever deal with. Keep it up guys and will definitely book my stay with you during my coming holiday. Best of luck.

Nothing

Clearly the best hotel in avcılar, probably even in entire Istanbul as far as proximity to shopping, food as well as affordability and friendliness of staff is concerned. Thank you

The staff were very accommodating. Before going, I told them we don't have a charge head to use our devices from the UK in the Turkey. They bought one for us free of charge and had it ready at hand when we arrived. Their breakfast was fresh and had a variety which they would change up every few days. Before leaving the hotel they'd always ask if we want our bedding changed and our room cleaned before returning. They would do a good job of cleaning and, especially tidying. The hotel is like 2 minutes away from the town centre which buzzes day and night. It has many options for you to eat from, including cafes and desserts, and a huge variety of retail options. It was a pleasant stay, very comfortable and and the staff were very friendly!

Location is awesome Bed was comfortable Taxi and shops nearby Metro also nearby Very comfortable

Small room Dust falling from bathroom ceiling

Personnel is fantastic, helpful and very kind. I received sweet surprise which was not mentioned in booking. Location is very good close to public transport easy to find. Breakfast was good, all you need for travel is there.

staff

I stayed at the hotel for 9 days with a group of my colleagues. We came to Istanbul for WorldFood Fair. The location and commuting is very convenient to travel to Tuyap Fair and Congress center. We enjoed our stay very much because the whole team of the hotel - Mr. Dogan, Mr, Mehmet and other team members demostrated hospitality and sincere openness to meet any request of the guests. Every morning we enjoyed simple, but always fresh and nicely served breakfast prepared by the hotel cook Mr. Tulay. It was very nice that Mr. Dogan offered a transfer to the airport for our group at a reasonable price. I recommend City Hotel Avcilar - here you can feel at home and get a good deal in terms of comfort, service and cost. Wish the whole team all the best and hope to come back.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities and great coffee

Nice Hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable with very good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was OK. The Hotel is located in the center of Avcilar. There are a lot of shops and restaurants. It was a nice stay, we will be back!

The staff is nice and helpful. They can find you anything or give a good advice. Wi-Fi is stable and fast enough. Breakfast is very good. A beach is 20 minutes away, making it a great morning exercise before breakfast!

Traffic could be loud at night even for me who is indifferent to that usually. Be prepared to use earplugs.

Staff was very friendly especially Dogan Bey at the reception was so friendly . He helped me with everything and made sure I had a comfortable stay . Any questions you have , he’s always happy to answer / help . My room was exactly on the pictures . It was clean and had a/c & tv in it . Wi-fi worked perfect as I needed to work on my laptop . I couldn’t explore amenities much but There’s lots of take away places , grocery shops and cafes around within walking distance . Metrobus ( really fast bus ) stop is only 10 mins walk . It’s very convenient if you want to TUYAP ( fair / exhibition ) area by metrobus.

I loved everything from the quality to staff hospitality to location to room service etc. The hotel owner was a great guy he was exactly how I imagined turkish hospitality to be! Staff were really polite and helpful ! Room was comfortable and really clean ! Breakfast was really good and had a lot of variety! I loved the hotel all and all because it was quite with a familiar vibe and the location was great because it was really near the Avcilar boulevard!

The staff were very nice, it's a good location many food and clothing shops nearby. I also enjoyed the breakfast options.

Sometimes the lift lights goes out which was alarming at first, but we found out all you have to do is click one of the floor buttons.

Great staff. Very kind, always willing to help resolve any issues. Great amenities and amazing location.

Het personeel is bijzonder hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Voor de wijk waarin het hotel staat is het een goed verblijven. Er is voldoende te vinden in de buurt.

cozy lobby.good wifi. good breakfast. friendly and helpful staff. good location.

small bathroom

The breakfast here is amazing! It is a huge buffet bar of Turkish goodness. And a very large variety of items. It was one of my most favorite parts of this family run business.

Avcilar is a bustling area of this massively urban city (Istanbul), and there are so many great restaurants, shops, and services there- it's also right a few blocks from the freeway and Metro buses, city buses, etc. So, the smart person should take one of the newer rooms on the ground floor. Otherwise the road noise is quite overwhelming. But, it does quiet at down at precisely at midnight, and starts up again the moment the morning adhan ends. I was offered one of these rooms, but opted for a view from the second floor. I feel certain that they would've let me move, but I was only there a few nights, and decided not to ask.

Location so far from downtown 1h and half

Good location, clean hotel and very friendly staff. I recommend and would always visit again. Happy New Year 2023!!!

Location is perfect, in the center of everything and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bus stops * front desk were awesome, very friendly and helpful, they even got me an umbrella with me on a rainy day and offered me coffee when i was exhausted after a long day.

breakfast : not soo many options or fresh bakery but it didn't bother me as I wasn't able to try it everyday during my stay due to my tight schedule.
