El trato con los voluntarios que administran el hotel es muy increíble y puedes hacer amigos de otros estados e inclusive de otros países, eso depende de ti!!!

Ya deberían echar mano de remodelación un poquito por ejemplo pintar los mismos muros y paredes respetando lo folclórico que ya tienen pintado con anterioridad para que se sigan viendo tradicionales y tener un poco de orden en algunas la sala de descanso donde se encuentra la televisión, ese es lugar público, no es que no me halla gustado es solo una sugerencia

My stay at Hostel Vallarta was excellent value for money! Big comfortable beds, delicious pancakes for breakfast, spacious common space, but the best was the people! Carlos was a fantastic host that went above and beyond to help me. With a great attitude and a big smile. Thank you so much!

The breakfast of coffee and pancakes were good. The staff were friendly and helped when I had a question about the stove in the kitchen. It's open air and great ventilation by the windows. It's colorful and great common area to relax, read and hangout. There was a big fan to ventilate the room. Private bathroom in the room and private key to go out anytime. Main location in the centro!!

No AC and on the main street it got loud. The door to the bathroom in the room was broken. The water didn't go down the drain when showering.

La ubicación del alojamiento muy cerca del muelle y de la zona de fiesta. Tiene muchas posibilidades el edificio y cosas buenas, pero está abandonado.

Todo lo demás. He estado en cientos de alojamientos y en ninguno me he sentido tan mal a la llegada, mi habitación no tenía llave, se veía desde fuera la habitación porque no había pomo, me dieron un candado de emergencia, luego los ventiladores tenían mucha suciedad, al igual que el suelo y los baños. Hacía mucho calor, no se puede exigir aire acondicionado porque en algunas habitaciones no lo hay, pero si que los ventiladores estén limpios y que haya unas condiciones mínimas. Me da pena poner esta reseña porque me dedico al sector y soy muy benevolente, pero jamás me había encontrado con esto y creo que es bueno para que Carlos, el propietario, reaccione.

Good location and super friendly and helpful staffs

The hostel's super old hence the wall paint peeling and our room was very stuffy. We got moved to another room but there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The AC was leaking water all over the floor

La ubicación esta perfecta. El lugar limpio y la gente amable. Justo por lo que pagas pero los cuartos son extremadamente calientes

No tienen aire acondicionado y el ventilador que tiene el cuarto es muy pequeño, siempre estuvo caliente el cuarto.

La ubicación es excelente, los voluntarios ofrecen buen servicio. El colchón y la cama super comodos. La vista desde la terraza es muy linda.

A localização é excelente, perto de barzinhos, restaurantes e da praia, mas a rua pode ficar meio vazia a noite. Eles oferecem panquecas grátis para o café da manhã e o lugar é bem colorido.

Infelizmente tive uma experiência bem ruim. Não me atentei ao reservar que o quarto feminino era o único que não possuía ar condicionado, então chegando lá me deparei com um quarto velho é super quente. A minha beliche tinha uma escada quebrada (então não sei como subir sem pisar na cama debaixo), o teto tinha marcas de infiltração, os dois ventiladores estavam imundos, realmente algo super complicado se você sofre de alergia ou rinite. O banheiro está com o ralo entupido e não drenava água, então não dava pra tomar banho nele sem encharcar tudo. Consegui mudar para o misto, porque tinha ar condicionado, este sim estava melhor em todos os quesitos, ao parecer, abandonam o quarto feminino mesmo. O hostel também não tem acessibilidade e nenhum lugar refrigerado além dos quartos mistos, não gostei da limpeza do banheiro misto e ele parecia ser compartilhado entre muita gente (mais do que 4, porque não é único para cada quarto). Muitas tomadas não funcionavam, então suas coisas têm que carregar longe de você dependendo da cama em que te colocaram.

Location was amazing. The staff was excellent and volunteers were so kind and helpful. One of the best hostels I have been to.. the rooftop kit he. And patio is perfect 👌. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a hammock or 2 🤣

I didnt like that I had to travel back home

Not as depicted in the pictures of the site. Room had a bed and a shelf no windows. My claustrophobic wife wouldn’t stay so we left.

The staff and owner is cool. Good place for socializing, nice terrace with good view.

Excellent location for short stays, I did some work at the facilities as well and the wifi connection was great! The stuff is also amazing. Had a great time, plus it's close to everything you need

C'est bien le personnel sympathique, ça parle dans les chambres. Ce n'est pas supposé tu parles dans le salon. Le micro-ondes est brisé durant les 2 semaines que j'ai été là, C'est pas si dispendieux en acheter un autre. La direction fait défaut le déjeuner gratuit un peu tard 9.00a.m

Bathroom toilet space area was way too cramp and no AC. Room was very hot. Blue a demon room was too hot.

The location of the hostel, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the public spaces were pleasant and fun.

My room was right beside the front door and was very noisy. I had to sleep with earplugs.

The hostel is in a prime location in the center of town. It's absolutely beautiful, covered in bright colours, murals, and plants. The staff are extremely friendly. The vibes are chill. Beautiful rooftop little kitchen, great outdoor lounges. Will definitely come here again.

Being in the center, it gets loud at night. With nightclubs nearby and cars blasting music on the street. So bring earplugs.

Al estar en una zona muy transitada desde temprano hay mucho ruido de los autobuses y motos

la ubicación esta cerca de tiendas restaurantes y antros y el mar tiene una vista bonita saliendo al malecón.

el hostal vallarta no es para todos ,llegando me entregaron la habitación hasta las 2 p.m. siendo que en la aplicación decía ala 1 p.m. al comentar en recepción solo me decían que no había sabanas y que no tenían una hora exacta de entrega de habitación me entregaron sin sabanas el colchón super sucio no tiene mini Split un abanico de techo muy sucio .toda la habitación sin limpieza tenia olores de humor humano, yo estaba cansada quería dormir .salí a comprar productos de limpieza hicimos el aseo mi esposo y yo ,no tenía toallas ni jabón ni shampoo, los huéspedes son personas libres y todo el tiempo fumando marihuana me sentí el lugar inseguro tenían música alta y ruido no descanse el desayuno eran hot cakes y café el personal hablando ingles me fue difícil entender la recepción es solo de 9am a 9pm.el baño compartido con todo el hotel yo de noche voy al baño dos veces me sentí insegura ,,me siento molesta pues el precio fue 1700x 2 días ,al hacer los comentarios la respuesta fue que por lo que pagamos era el servicio ,me e hospedado en hoteles de cancun con menos precio y mecho mejores mi experiencia fue horrible en hostal vallarta, pésimo servicio .

Mi estadía en Hostel Vallarta fue simplemente increíble. Desde el primer día se sintió como un lugar para relajarse, conocer gente buena onda y disfrutar del momento. Volvería sin dudarlo. El hostel está en una zona súper céntrica, cerca de todo, pero al mismo tiempo tiene rincones tranquilos para descansar. La terraza del techo con los atardeceres es un sueño. La cocina exterior es práctica y social. La playa queda cerca, así que el mar siempre está presente. Muy buena energía, relajado y respetuoso. Es 420-friendly siempre que se cuide a los demás y el entorno. Ideal para descansar, charlar, compartir y sentirse en casa. Los voluntarios fueron un amor, cada uno con su estilo y experiencia. Organizan salidas a la playa y actividades en los alrededores que suman muchísimo a la estadía. Durante mi viaje me quedé en tres hostels distintos… y siempre terminaba volviendo a este para relajar y pasarla bien. ⭐ Agradecimientos especiales al equipo • Gill: el más constante y presente, siempre listo para ayudar, con un estilo bien marcado. • Luz: súper acogedora, sonrisa encantadora, sus bromas y su mate amargo; junto con Natalia me enseñaron a hacer ñoquis caseros. • Katie: atención al cliente impecable, poniendo todo de sí para aprender y comunicarse en español mientras cumple sus tareas con dedicación. • Natalia: siempre de buen humor, con esas charlas picantes y el “puteo” amistoso como buenos argentinos. • Valu: quizás al principio cuesta leerla, pero tiene un corazón enorme; gran defensora de sus compañeros y de la tranquilidad del hostel. • Carlos: el responsable; aunque tenga cara seria, es el más amable y comprensivo del grupo, siempre abierto a buscar soluciones y alternativas para acomodar a todos. También hubo tres personas más de las cuales me falta el nombre: dos que se fueron en mi segundo día y otra que, aunque no recuerde su nombre, no me la voy a olvidar jamás. Hostel Vallarta es un lugar al que uno llega como viajero… y se va como amigo.

Big thanks to Natalia , she helped us and made the best breakfast pancake for us ! The location is amaizing , everything you need is perfectly reachable by foot We left our luggage at reception as our flight was in the afternoon , super safe ! We stayed in Diego Rivera and the bed is big and comfy. The room was clean, maybe the fan could be a bit cleaner... it s completely black ... but it s okay ! No biggie Stay here great atmosphere 👌 you will enjoy the roof top and the chill out spac3 and th3 little gym corner with weights 💪 😉

Unfortunately our room didn't have proper blinds , but they put some blankets for privacy. The place is super Bohemian art deco ! We lov3d but the toilet and the rooms could be a bit cleaner. It wasn't dirty but it wasn't sparkly cleaned !

Bathrooms were not that clean as only volunteers are working there. We had the room between the reception and the terrace and cold hear everything from both sides. Hard to get some sleep if there is talking an the terrace until 2-3 in the morning. No warm water. On the main floor only cold water. In the second bathroom on the rooftop there only existed boiling hot or freezing cold

The staff is amazing, and in my last couple nights i was staying in a better bed by luck.

Well, the rooms are hot, no hot water, the bathroom not really clean, the host just wanted to charge for more and more even we were not getting anything back of we were paying. Problems with the key and a little far from town. Is hostal, you understand cause you life with other people but aslo you can keep the hostal clean, ordenated and fair with the price. One day we couldnt use the bathroom cause they had a problem.

Amo los murales del lugar. Me encanta que siempre encuentro gente de varias partes del mundo. Amo sus pancakes, super esponjosos y ricos en su roofgarden. Me encantó mi cama super grande y suave.

No me gustó que mi llave se quedara atorada en el pórtico de la puerta, pero aun así, nadie se metio a mi habitación privada, ni sufri ningun extravío de alguna pertenecía. Las regaderas de arriba me tocó agua fría, pero no me resfríe ni nada..

Upstairs was nice and pleasant to sit at. Etc - great for mingling etc, and rooms are cheap enough to get space there. Only thing that was a major issue you couldn't really the toilet ( green) - it seemed to have a water pressure issue, as did the sink. Could be def fixed to improve overall usage. Thanks.

See above. Great location ( walking wise, and for visiting the malecon) - etc. Sound - and street noise is horrible for sleeping. You need ear plugs to STAY here. Needs a little bit darker curtains on the rooms too - to have more privacy, and block out street lights, and traffic coming in.

The street noise was awful. Its a party town.

Friendly management and staff, nice roof top with ocean view and fireworks viewing, hot water showers.free breakfast and planned guest activities.

Sheets didn’t fit my bed and slipped off. Fan needed super cleaning so as not to disburse caked on dust. Window was not lockable, flashing lights outside my window were annoying when trying to sleep so I used an eye mask.
