Nach der 1 unangenehmen Nacht ging es echt bergauf. Das DZ war in der 22 Etage, super Blick auf Edge (s. Bilder), groß genug, Ausstattung gut, TV englisch, Bad neu renoviert. Uns hat im Zimmer nichts gefehlt, die Beten waren super, wurde auch von anderen Gästen bestätigt. Klar, viele Aufhängemöglichkeiten sind nicht da, aber der Roomservice war gut. Frühstück - es gibt Wegwerfgeschirr, aber das ist meiner Meinung nach kein Problem, wir sind zu Recht gekommen und wenn man bedenkt, dass ca. 600 Gäste versorgt sein sollen, ein Stück weit nachvollziehbar. Das Angebot war spitze, für amerikanische Verhältnisse, es gab praktisch alles, was man so für ein gutes Frühstück benötigt udn der Service war echt fit, es wurde ständig nachgeliefert, alles frisch, siehe Bilder. Aufzüge sind auch nicht das Problem, es wird nach Etage priorisiert und lange Wartezeiten gab es nicht wirklich. Abschließend möchte wir trotz der Probleme das Hotel empfehlen, weil Personal echt klasse, hilfsbereit, freundlich, super Ausgangslage und tolles Frühstück.

Wir haben dieses Hotel wegen seiner Lage, guten Bewertung und Preis ausgewählt. Wir waren bereits frühzeitig (13 Uhr, Checkin erst ab 16 Uhr) vor Ort, konnte nicht einchecken, Zimmer wäre aber da, so die Auskunft des Personals. Wir also zum Konzert und waren ca. 23 Uhr wieder im Hotel. Problem war nur, dass kein Zimmer mehr frei war, wir haben 2x eine Karte fürs Zimmer bekommen, Tür ging aber nicht auf, weil das Zimmer bereits belegt war. Es stellte sich heraus, dass weitere 3 Familien kein Zimmer hatten, dass Hotel wurde überbucht. Wie das geht, keine Ahnung, aber nach langen Diskussionen wurde uns ein DZ frühs um 9-10 Uhr zugesichert, dass hat dann auch geklappt. Die Situation war für den Nachtmanager sichtlich peinlich, er hat wirklich alles versucht, in den Nachbarhotels Zimmer zu finden, nur wie soll das gehen, um 1 Uhr Nachts. Wir haben letztendlich in der Lobby übernachtet, unbequem auf den dortigen Sitzmöglichkeiten, mit Klimaanlage und Dauermusikbeschallung. Ein Spaß war das nicht. Uns wurde als Entschädigung ein Nachlass von 2 Nächten in Aussicht gestellt und am Ende auch gewährt, der Nachlass war beachtlich und hat tatsächlich uns entschädigt. Kann man das auch anders sehen, aber für uns war es am Ende ok, man hätte an der Situation nicht viel ändern können, außer komplett umzubuchen, zu einem bei weitem höheren Preis udn finanziellen Verlust, denn booking.com wollte lediglich 1 Nacht rückerstatten! Da sind wir mit dem Nachlass vom Hotel echt besser gefahren.

The location, close by to where we needed to go

The beds and pillows were too soft, they didn’t provide enough support. The room is very small. The AC is very noisy and does not cool enough. We call the maintenance person but just showed us how to turn on and off. It was way cooler in the aisle by the elevator. The entrances of the hotel are by the sides of the building. They are not wide enough, so it’s difficult to enter pulling bags. The days we stayed, there were always bins of sheets/towels being delivered and bins of trash. We were not able to get in/out of the taxi in front of the hotel. The elevator (we were at 15th floor) was very busy. We always had to wait up to 5 rounds to be able to catch the elevator up or down. The breakfast was very limited for hot food options. The card reader at the bar didn’t work (at least that’s what we were told) so it will be taken out of the deposit (which by the way, why would it take up to 7 days to be returned?)

Posizione ottimale a 5 minuti dalla metro e vicino a molte attrazioni. La cosa che più mi è piaciuta di più è stata la colazione a buffet, varia, abbondante e molto buona. Per chi non vuole rinunciare agli allenamenti anche in vacanza, l'albergo dispone anche di una bella palestra, aperta H24.

Nelle ore di punta potrebbero essere necessarie un po' di attese per gli ascensori.

The staff in all aspects was brilliant. The room was clean and quiet. The ability to store our luggage before and after.

With a European background i found the breakfast 'interesting' but I've never been to the USA, and so I don't know if this is normal. A buffet with sparse setup, paper plates, and plastic cutlery. I could find something to eat but and for the amount of people coming to it, it was always replenished quickly but certainly an experience. I hope for the room to be a bit bigger but at the end of the day, it did it's job.

Una opción excelente para alojarse en Nueva York. La localización es inmejorable: al lado de Penn Station y el metro, perfecta para moverse. Las habitaciones están limpias y son tranquilas para descansar sin ruidos. El personal es amable, eficiente y cercano. Además, el desayuno buffet incluido es adecuado.

Normálisabb poharak a szobában. lehangoló amikor az ünnepi pezsgőt pahírpohárból fogyasztjuk. Több toalettpapír, alaposan meg kell nézni minden wc előtt, hogy van e elég.

Сніданок на 2-3 – дуже багато людей, не всі розміщуються, не всього всім вистачає. Води в номері немає, досить гучна вентиляція, іноді треба довго чекати на ліфт

La ubicación y el hotel en general.

El desayuno estaba saturado. Poco personal para atender el desayuno. La habitación cuádruple Se nos quedó pequeña para tres personas, sólo tenía un armario diminuto. Se nos cobraron casi 300$ en tasas que no aparecían en el precio de Booking.

Hotel bien situado, moderno, limpio. Desayuno bastante aceptable, sin grandes problemas de coger mesa, y con cubiertos desechables que no suponían mayor problema.De los alrededores, piizzería muy recomendable en la esquina, y Penn Station al lado para ir a todos sitios. Hall moderno con juegos para los niños.

Aunque había dos ascensores para las plantas 1 a 14 y otros dos para las plantas 15 a 26, la hora del desayuno era según el día de atasco general, aunque no siempre. Habitantes para 4 justas de tamaño.

Hotel czysty, śniadania mało urozmaicone, codziennie ten sam zestaw ale można było sobie znaleźć to co kto lubi. Potrawy zmaczne. Położenie hotelu idealne na wyprawę na Manhattan. Blisko kilka stacji metra.

Nie ma negatywny rzeczy.

Tutto molto pulito e curato, la colazione ottima sia dolce che salata. Check in e check out velocissimi, ci hanno tenuto anche le valige gratuitamente tutto l’ultimo giorno. Come posizione ottima, vicinissima a time Square e principali attrazioni. Camera come vista bellissima al 21 piano

Unica pecca la mattina per scendere e salire con l’ ascensore per la colazione ci vuole un po’ perché ci sono solo due ascensori che servono 27 piani

Die Lage ist sehr gut geeignet um NY zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Blick auf die City.

Die Aufzüge sind stark frequentiert und erfordern häufig eine Wartezeit. Frühstücken auf Einweggeschirr ist nicht resourcenschonend, aber leider noch der Standard.

Lage gut und Hotel auch schön. Frühstück vielfältig.

Alarm mitten in der Nacht ohne Grund losgegangen, Kommunikation erst sehr spät. Abrechnung erst nach Abreise, ungünstig wenn was nicht passt bekommt man keine Rückmeldung mehr.

Magnífica ubicación, cerca del Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Hudson Yard….. Penn Station. El personal del hotel fantástico, tanto en recepción como en el comedor., atento a todo lo que puedas necesitar y facilitándote todo lo necesario. Habitación con preciosas vistas a la ciudad, para cuatro personas, tamaño correcto, al igual que el baño, con dos camas dobles King Size súper cómodas, un pequeño armario, también cuenta con nevera, cafetera y microondas. Limpieza diaria. El hotel dispone de gimnasio 24h y lavandería ( dos dólares lavar y dos dólares secar). Un valor añadido es poder dejar las maletas después del check-out de manera totalmente gratuita y segura (hasta las 11 p.m) para aprovechar la últimas horas en la cuidad. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Estaría genial otro armario en la habitación. A ciertas horas un poco de espera en los ascensores.

Mein Aufenthalt im Fairfield In war super! Es ist ein sehr großes Hotel, und hat trotzdem Charme. Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Time Square. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, aber hatte alles, was man braucht, und die Fenster waren sogar zu öffnen. Es gabe sogar eine kleine Kaffeemaschine, und man bekam jeden Tag Kaffee. Und das allerwichtigste: Ich habe ein Zimmer in der neunzehnten Etage bekommen, und es war absolut ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist genial gewesen. Ich würde das Hotel empfehlen.

Man bezahlt bei Anreise 215 EUR Deposit. Ich wusste das nicht, und hätte das Zimmer vermutlich auch nicht gebucht, hätte ich es gewusst. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es Pappteller. Das wäre mir egal, was das Feeling angeht, aber wenn man an die Umwelt denkt, ist es schon recht gruselig.

Klimatyzacja. Nie wiem co bylo nie tak, ale nigdy nie mam problemów z klimatyzacją. Tutaj pod koniec ledwo weszłam do pokoju kaszel. Śniadania- malo urozmaicone, brak ekspresu do kawy - tylko lura. Jajecznica z proszku. Plastikowe naczynia, warzyw jak na lekarstwo- sama sałata lodowa z minimalna ilością papryki i ogorka. Długo by pisać. Hałas w lobby. Po prostu żadne 4 gwiazdki.

Ottima posizione neanche 10 minuti sei a Time Square, ottima pulizia ambiente giovanile e molto accogliente.

Se devo proprio trovare un qualcosa per lamentarmi stanza un po piccola ma alla fine non è un problema.

The location is perfect to visit the city. You are super close to a Edison Square Garden and Time Square, but with amazing subways that can ride you to everywhere in a small amount of time. The room was big enough for two people with a nice sofa to chill.

The elevator is really slow and always full because are only 4 for the entire building. The AC and the fridge in our room were noisy during the night especially. Not a problem for us, but this might be an issue if you need silence during the night.

Nice and clean. Close to everything. We were there during the busy time of the year, but they managed and communicated really well. It is not a luxury stay, but met all the needs and the staff were great.

The free breakfast was fabulous! The housekeeping staff were efficient/rooms and elevators were clean. The happy hour was very nice. The Sunday movie were nice.

We were not able to check in until after 4:30. I realize check-in starts at 4 but I thought we might get in early since we stored our luggage at 11:00 am.

Excellent location, very good breakfast, kind and helpful staff, clean and nice room, comfortable beds.

The room we stayed was for a mx of 4 with 2 king beds. There were 3 of us, and the room was a little small. But no big deal.

I paid $100 for one night. It is a cramped $100 type of hotel. But fair at that price. Unfortunately my flight was cancelled so I needed to stay another night at short notice. They had spare rooms. But the offered rate was over $800! Will not be staying there again regardless of any future apology or rational around $100 rate.

The staff and the breakfast

The fan in my room (2408) was very very noisy from time to time and we could not sleep at all.. it would make a loud stacatto sound when stopping.. and proved to be highly disturbing thru the night. The Bathroom sliding door has a gap and you can look inside the bathroom even when closed :(

La ubicación es el punto fuerte de este hotel.

La tardanza de los ascensores. El poco aforo del salón del desayuno (para lo grande que es el hotel), además del gran desperdicio de cubiertos desechables y la poca disponibilidad (por poca reposición de los productos del desayuno. El pequeño tamaño del armario (medio cuerpo y encima ocupado por la tabla de planchar. Además de que en una de las habitaciones se vio inundado el baño por una fuga de la habitación de arriba.

El tamaño de la habitación para cuatro personas muy correcto, con limpieza diaria y dos camas dobles muy grandes. La ubicación excelente, muy cerca de Times Square y del Madison Square Garden; las vistas que tuvimos desde la habitación fueron preciosas. El desayuno variado y muy profesional el trato de los camareros. Ningún problema y además con un sistema magnífico para dejar las maletas el tiempo necesario tras el check-out, a fin de poder apurar las últimas horas en la ciudad.

Quizás el comedor un tanto pequeño para la cantidad de clientes alojados y el hecho de que únicamente haya dos ascensores, lo que provoca largas esperas en horas punta.

Extremely Slow Check-In: You had to wait in a long line for 2 hours just to get checked in and get your room. Broken Refrigerator: Your room's mini-fridge was not working, which put your food at risk of spoiling. Terrible Maintenance Timing: When you reported the broken fridge , they pushed it off to the next day. Maintenance didn't show up until 11:00 AM—right as you were preparing to check out—by which time your food had already gone bad. Slow Elevators: Long, painful wait times to get up or down.

Buena estadía, muy limpio todo y nos sentimos muy cómodas, rico desayuno.

Location is very convenient to Penn Station & MSG. A few blocks from Macy’s & lots of restaurants nearby on 8th & 9th Ave. Room was small but well equipped with frig & microwave.

Elevator were slow.

It was close to metro.

Bed sheets were dirty and we asked for new ones. AC does a very bothering noise all the time, at night it was very loud and annoying. Breakfast was sad, everyday the same food and quality is really cheap. Staff wasn’t that nice.

Problemas con los ascensores por las mañanas para el desayuno

L'hotel è situato a 5 minuti a piedi da Penn Station, la quale è collegata a molteplici linee della metro. In 10 minuti a piedi si raggiungono Times Square e Broadway quindi posizione ottimale. Noi avevamo una camera King vista città al 25 piano, addormentarsi la sera con The Edge davanti agli occhi non ha prezzo. La camera non è enorme ma in due si riesce a ritagliarsi il giusto spazio anche per i vestiti. Le pulizie vengono fatte tutti i giorni, cosa non scontata in America. Possibilità di deposito bagagli senza costi aggiuntivi, sia all'arrivo che in partenza.

La colazione compresa nel prezzo è sicuramente un plus. Basterebbero però poche accortezze per renderla più appetibile. Le opzioni salate, per noi italiani sono veramente "impegnative" mentre la parte dolce è limitata e in 7 giorni non è mai variata. Comodo il dispenser per refill acqua.

Que me cobraron más de lo que yo tenía contratado por booking, y al indicarselo al empleado me dijo que era una fianza que me devolverían 15 días despues del chek out. No teniendo esto claro, pedí al día de irme la factura y en ella no aparece nada de fianza por lo que me temo que no me van a devolver nada. Me toca esperar para ver si esto es verdad. Mirar siempre antes de pagar.

Housekeeping happened late in the evening and forget to refill toiletries. Lifts were hard to ride at times. Quadruple room were a bit too tight.

-Lazy and rude bell boys. The one who helped me bring my luggage upstairs the first day was great however the ones I dealt with the days after were unprofessional. (Chewing gum loudly and watching their phones across the room from their workplace while I stood there waiting. Most of them were moving like snails.) - the door of the shower didn’t have a handle on the inside, only one on the outside, so it’s impossible to fully close the shower door when you’re in the shower. - the staff at the airport shuttle desk was quite rude as well. I arrived for my 7pm shuttle at 7:02 and they were upset. They called me at 6:45 asking where I was with the attitude of a mother angry at her child for breaking curfew. At a hotel with less stars I would not have cared but at a 4 star hotel the quality of service is not up to par with other 4 star hotels I have stayed at.

10-15 perc sétára nagyon sok nevezetesség. A reptéri metro lejárata a szomszéd saroknál, a penn station pár perc és a washingtonba induló vonatok is csak pár perc sétára voltak. A szoba pici de csak aludni jár oda az ember. Az ágy nagy és kényelmes. Napi takarítas volt. A reggeli szinte minden nap ugyan az volt, de mindig találtunk vmit. A kilátás a 24.emeletről mesés volt. Teljesen biztonságos a környék.

A kilátás az ablakból az Edge-re 😍, a hatalmas, kényelmes ágy, a finom reggeli, a transzfer a reptérre..

A wc ajtó nehezen volt csukható, a zuhany állítása lehetne jobb, minimális pakolási lehetőség, a szekrény és polcok hiánya a szobában.

Plenty of choices for breakfast, staff were friendly and accommodating and room was clean.

I don't like the fact that you do not pay your employees a living wage and then ask your guests to tip the room staff. While there aren't financial statistics available for Fairfield Inn, your parent company, Marriott, recorded $26.19 billion in total revenue for the full year of 2025, which was an increase from $25.1 billion in 2024. With those earnings, you can afford to pay your employees a living wage. Shameful!
